Ben remembered his past and what his friends and family told him about it, nothing about it was pretty. He had just dug up some of the files relating to his father. Apparently, he had done so many crimes before. And these files were somehow kept from the cops for long. Gwen patted Ben's shoulder to comfort him, and soon Max did the same as well. As Ben continued to find out more about his past and his father, it got worse and worse.
Meanwhile...
"What's taking you so long?!"
"A-Agh! I-I'll get him this time! I-I promise!"
"You better have the Omnitrix soon, the time for my revenge is nearing. And if you don't manage to get the Omnitrix in advance I'll get rid of you. Do you understand?!"
"Y-Yes!"
"Good. Now, resume your mission! I may spare you once I am in condition to take over that pathetic Bellwood. Then, the rest of the world!"
Bob couldn't bear the pain anymore, the nerve-like endings of the Antitrix were burrowing deeper and deeper into him. Pain went all over his body, and he sometimes didn't feel like himself anymore. With this, he finally decided that it was time to try and end Ben before retrieving the Omnitrix from him.
Meanwhile...
Ben and Catherine were currently on a date. While they were walking, they both passed by the Outback Steakhouse Ben used to take Elizabeth in. It brought back memories, memories that caused him emotional pain. "A-Are you alright?" asked Catherine worriedly, "H-Huh? Y-Yeah, I-I'm fine." Ben lied. "Alright, just asking." Catherine replied back, though she was worried about Ben.
Eventually, Ben and Catherine made it to a nice little restaurant that had a weird French-sounding name. They went inside and ordered, then they ate together. This calmed down Ben's heart and healed it.
A Few Hours Later...
After the date, Ben and Catherine walked down the sidewalks. "I had fun today." Catherine said smiling sweetly, "Me too." Ben replied. After a little while more, Ben and Catherine got a chance to look at the starry night as they kept on walking down the sidewalks. It was peaceful and calming, and Ben couldn't ask for anything more. However, this calm was about to be disturbed...
Elsewhere...
A certain someone was stalking Ben and Catherine in the night not too long ago, -it was Bob! He was ready to take out Ben once and for all, and use Catherine to do it if necessary or given the chance. With this, he quickly got into action.
FLASH!
Ben and Catherine were surprised by the flash of red light that appeared near an unfinished construction project. The construction project came crashing down, before a big, burly wolf-like figure appeared and roared.
CRASH!
ROOOAAARRR!
-It was Bob as Bashmouth! And Ben recognized the Antitrix! With this, he quickly turned into Ghostfreak and got ready to protect Catherine if needed.
ROOOAAARRR!
Bob suddenly shot out of the area of the now damaged unfinished construction project before trying to bite Ben's head off with his metal teeth. However, Ben managed to tackle and possess him. After possessing his body, Ben slammed his father into all sorts of things stunning him. Catherine was freaking out, she didn't know whether to stay or run. Then, Ben got out of Bob's body and yelled "-GO! RUN! -GET OUT OF HERE!". Immediately, Catherine followed and started running. While she did, she started calling 911.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
After that, her phone started ringing for a bit before someone from the other line picked up.
"911, what's your emergency?"
"Th-There's a vicious wolf man attacking my husband! I-It's Ben! B-Ben Tennyson! Ben's being attacked by a wolf man! Please hurry and get here!"
"I'm sending officers your way."
"Hurry please!"
ROOOAAARRR!
FWOOSH!
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
ROOOAAARRR!
Ben used Ghostfreak's special ability again. However, it didn't take Bob down so easily this time. I guess Bashmouth has a lot of spirit and fight in him. But then, Bob had an idea. If he couldn't get to Ben, then he would just target his girlfriend. Bob took a chunk of the damaged unfinished construction project, before trying to throw it towards Catherine. "-AAAHHH!" Catherine screamed as she saw a huge chunk of the project flying towards her. Luckily, Ben was there to save her. He clawed and tore the chunk apart reducing it to pieces and letting them fall on the ground near him. "-THAT'S IT." Ben said with a deadly tone in his voice. Then, he started trying to beat up Bob.
"RAAAHHH!"
FWOOSH!
FWOOSH!
SLASH!
Ben tried to get to Bob as fast as he could. Unfortunately, Bob turned into Rush (his version of XLR8) and kept avoiding him using super speed. Just then, Ben switched to XLR8 as well before fending Bob off with his tail and claws. He tried hitting Bob, but he kept missing everytime.
Catherine then took out a high-tech sword she usually kept with her. It was called the X-Caliber. The reasons it was called that was because X was the Roman numeral for 10, and the "Caliber" part was referring to the sword's built-in laser blaster.
SHEENG!
PEW! PEW! PEW! PEW! PEW! PEW!
"ARGH!"
Bob ended up getting hit by one of the lasers, he didn't expect Catherine to actually fight back. While he was distracted by the pain on his face, Ben tackled him and dragged him across the ground.
"YAAH!"
FWOOSH!
BAM!
CRASH!
While Bob was weakened, Catherine loaded several power net shells into the X-Caliber. It was compatible with them. Then, she fired them towards Bob.
BANG! BANG!
FWOOSH!
KZZT! KZZT-KZZZTTT!
"AAAHHH!"
As Bob was caught by the nets, he was electrocuted. While he was weakened even further, Ben switched to Fourarms before trying to smash him into the ground. However...
FLASH!
FWOOOSSSHHH!
"Agh!"
Bob turned into Hot Shot (his version of Heatblast), Ben didn't have this alien. Bob then blasted a huge burst of flames towards him making him back up a bit. Just then...
"HEEYAAH!"
BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
"Oomph!"
CRASH!
Bob repeatedly punched Ben, before kicking him into a wall. I guess he wasn't that much of a chump after all when it came to being a villain. "-BEN!" yelled Catherine as she tried checking on him. However...
FWOOSH!
"-AAH!"
"Hahahaha! Face it, kid. You can't beat me. I'm your father. I'm always one step ahead of you. -Or is it ten? Ahahahaha!"
"Ungh..." groaned Ben, Bob had beat him up pretty hard. Just then...
"HEEEYAAAH!"
CHAKK!
"AAARRRGGGHHH!"
Catherine stabbed the X-Caliber into Bob's chest, before pulling the trigger. The X-Caliber sent a powerful laser through Bob's body.
PEW!
BOOM!
"Agh!"
There was now a huge hole on Bob's chest, and blood was coming out of it fast. But he had a solution for this.
FLASH!
"Crystalfist!"
Bob turned into Crystalfist, before using his ability to regenerate parts of his body. With this, he fixed the hole on his chest stopping the bleeding. Then...
FLASH!
"Bootleg!"
FLASH!
FLASH!
Bob then switched to Bootleg and tried firing a huge eye laser at Catherine. Luckily, Catherine was able to deflect it with the blade of her sword. The laser bounced right back at Bob, who was hit and knocked down on the ground.
PEW!
THUMP!
"Oomph!"
While Bob was knocked down on the ground, Ben got up and tackled him hard. Then, he smashed him into the ground and dragged him across it once again.
FWOOSH!
"RAAAHHH!"
SMASH!
RUMBLE-RUMBLE-RUMBLE-RUMBLE!
WOOO! WOOO! WOOO! WOOO!
Just then, the cops arrived. Two of the cars were familiar, a black and white Corvette C6 and a blue Dodge Charger. They were the cars of Cross and Lt. Steel. Once they and the other cops got out of their cars, they could see the battle between Ben and his father.
BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
SLASH!
"Argh!"
"Alright everyone, get ready!"
CHAKK-CHAKK!
Cross, Lt. Steel and the other cops readied their firearms ready to take down (or try to take down) Bob. When Bob was in the right spot, Lt. Steel shouted "Fire!".
PEW! PEW! PEW! PEW! PEW! PEW!
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Lt. Steel, Cross and the other cops all fired as much as they could. Some of the cops had laser guns now, so they were much stronger than ever. They were provided by some of the superheroes in the Superhero Scene, Cross and Lt. Steel were beginning to like the superheroes more and more.
PEW!
THUMP!
"Agh!"
One of the cops managed to hit Bob with his big laser gun. With Bob stunned, Ben was able to smash him into the ground even more.
"RAAAHHH!"
SMASH!
Just then, Catherine started flying in the air with her wings. She flew sky high, before swooping down and spinning like a drill with her sword stuck out. Then...
"RAAAHHH!"
FWOOSH!
CHAKK!
"AAARRRGGGHHH!"
CRASH!
"Argh!"
Catherine struck the sword into Bob hard, after he was dragged on the ground he started bleeding again. But Bob wasn't going to let this happen again, so he switched to Crystalfist once more before reforming his body and trapping the X-Caliber inside it.
"U-Urgh!"
Catherine groaned as she tried pulling X-Caliber from Bob's body, but it was no use. Then...
FWOOSH!
BAM!
"Agh!"
THUMP!
CRASH!
"-CATHERINE! -NO!"
Ben saw Catherine get punched away by Bob, Catherine was sent flying into the air and ended up crashing into another unfinished construction project. Catherine started bleeding from her head, and she was severely weakened. "Oh no! No! No! No! No! No! No!" said Ben panicking as he rushed over to Catherine to see if she was alright.
"Catherine! A-Are you alright?!"
"Ungh... S-Stop him... Stop him Ben..."
"Don't worry Catherine, everything's gonna be okay."
After Ben said that, a familiar vehicle arrived along with some more cop cars. The familiar vehicle was the Rustbucket. And in it were of course Gwen and Max. When Gwen and Max got out of it, they rushed over to Ben and said "What happened?!". "Quick! Give me a healing potion!" Ben quickly replied back. Max then gave Ben one of the healing potions. Ben took it and quickly placed it on Catherine, which healed her. Then, he used another healing potion on himself.
"Ungh..."
"You okay Catherine?"
"Y-Yeah... I-I am now... B-Bob! Wh-Where's Bob?!"
"Hahahaha! Poor little Ben, willing to go to great lengths for the one you love. You could've used the power you have to have everything you ever wanted. But what did I expect from a fool like you?"
Ben didn't respond to what his father said. Instead, he got up. Before he jumped up high and quickly smashed him into the ground.
FWOOSH!
"RAAAAHHHH!"
SMASH!
After Bob was smashed into the ground once more, Ben started beating him up. He beat him up so bad that he didn't have a chance to change forms to be able to take Ben's beatings. With his hard and strong beatings, Ben managed to knock out Bob.
BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
After Bob was knocked out, Ben picked him up before throwing him upwards and sending him flying with a great, big punch.
FWOOSH!
"-RAAAAHHHH!"
BAM!
FWOOOSSSHHH!
CRASH!
After Bob was completely knocked out, the Omnitrix finally timed out.
BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP!
FLASH!
Ben breathed, he was exhausted. But it was worth it for the one he loved. Then, he rushed over to Catherine before holding her in his arms. Catherine then hugged Ben back.
Some Time Later...
The mess from the battle had been cleaned up. It was already very, very late by the time everyone was done. Then, everyone started heading to their homes.
"Well Tennyson, another mission complete. Gotta say, I'm startin' to like these superheroes. I love these new laser blasters."
"Yeah. But you know what I DON'T LIKE? Someone messing with and hurting Catherine."
"Noted."
A Few Minutes Later...
Soon, Ben and Catherine were walking towards a hotel Ben had rented for the night. Ben wanted Catherine to feel safe, so he decided he was going to keep her with him and watch her at all times. Soon, Ben and Catherine ended up cuddling and went to sleep.
"Good night my love."
"Night night sweetie.~"
