Becoming a superhero team, the Tennysons helped wherever they could. With Ben's Omnitrix, Gwen's spells and Max's plumber gear and fighting knowledge, they formed a great team.
Although they were a great team, they weren't indestructible. And they knew that. One day, Ben would meet his match.
Meanwhile...
A man was walking through the streets. Then, something caught his attention. It was another shooting star. But he didn't think much of it and just kept walking. However...
FWOOSH!
"Wh-What- -AAH!"
SMASH!
THUD!
"Oomph!"
The "shooting star" changed direction, before plummeting towards the man's direction! It crashed onto the ground, sending him flying. He hit the road hard. When he was able to get back up again, he saw that whatever almost hit him formed a giant crater in front of him. Does this situation sound familiar to you?
The man walked towards the crater and stood on the edge of it. Then, a piece of the edge broke making him fall inside it.
CRACK!
"AAH!"
When the man fell in the crater, he was able to take a closer look at what almost hit him. It was a spherical container similar to the one the Omnitrix was contained in. However, unlike the Omnitrix's container this one had some curved spikes on it. Then, it slid open. Inside was an Omnitrix-lookalike. However, it was wider, had brown color and its symbol was different and red. The symbol was different, it looked like two triangles rotated sideways and put together. They formed an abstract "B". Was this meant for Ben? Or was this meant for another person? Like say someone who found this Omnitrix-lookalike right now? Does this mean that this person's name starts with a B?
The man curiously reached for the Omnitrix-lookalike, but as he was doing so...
SNAP!
"AAH!"
It latched on to his left wrist! He tried to get it off, but he couldn't. Looks like Ben would finally meet his match soon. Then, the Omnitrix-lookalike automatically activated.
FLASH!
Black fur covered the man's body, before he became big and burly. Then, he grew sharp claws and teeth. The Omnitrix-lookalike then appeared on his chest.
"Bashmouth!"
ROOOAAARRR!
The man had turned into an alien, who he recently called "Bashmouth". Bashmouth is a big and burly black wolf-like alien. However, something else happened. Unlike Ben, who had control over himself when he first used the Omnitrix this man didn't with the Omnitrix-lookalike. Bashmouth's instincts took over him, before he started trashing everything he could.
ROOOAAARRR!
SMASH!
BAM!
CRASH!
A Few Seconds Later...
Soon, the Tennysons received the news of what was going on in the Rustbucket's radio. "C'mon kids, let's go." said Max, before he stopped the Rustbucket and went the other way. The Tennysons were ready for anything this creature could throw at them.
A Few Minutes Later...
The Tennysons stopped right where the crazy creature was last reported to be causing a rampage in. It was still trashing everything in sight. "Ben, stop that thing. We'll help." said Max, Ben nodded before saying "It's hero time!" (his catchphrase) and slamming on the Omnitrix once again.
FLASH!
"Fourarms!"
Ben turned into Fourarms. When Bashmouth saw him, they both started fighting.
ROOOAAARRR!
"HEEYAAH!"
SMASH!
Ben threw hard and solid punches, but Bashmouth as able to protect himself with the metal that could grow on his arms. Then, he tried biting Ben's head off using his metal teeth.
ROOOAAARRR!
CRUNCH!
"WHOA!"
Ben was able to dodge in time, but it was clear that Bashmouth was tougher than he looked. Max tried to help Ben by shooting some power net shells from his blaster, it could fire two of them at a time. The nets captured and electrocuted Bashmouth, but he couldn't be apprehended. He was too strong and wild. Bashmouth then broke free from the nets, before he started charging towards Max.
RRRIP!
ROOOAAARRR!
Gwen got in front of Max, before saying "Potenis Otierre!". Immediately, a magic shield formed in front of her protecting her and Max.
ROOOAAARRR!
CRUNCH!
Gwen freaked out as Bashmouth continued trying to chew through the magic shield. Then...
"RAAAHHH!"
SMASH!
ROAR!
CRASH!
Ben managed to tackle Bashmouth, before smashing him into a wall. The wall collapsed, burying Bashmouth in its rubble. But the Tennysons knew that the battle wasn't over yet. Ben and Gwen learned that during their time as superheroes. Just because something ends up being buried, dosen't mean it's defeated.
BAM!
ROOOAAARRR!
Bashmouth emerged from the rubble, before he started charging towards Ben. Max used his blaster's grappling hook to tie his feet together and make him fall. Once Bashmouth fell down, Ben took the chance to send him flying by punching him hard.
"HEEYAAH!"
BAM!
Bashmouth was sent flying high into the sky, before he came crashing down. Once Bashmouth crashed onto the ground, Ben went XLR8 and took Gwen and Max with him to see what happened. When he did, he saw that Bashmouth was groaning in pain. Then...
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
FLASH!
The Omnitrix-lookalike flashed red, before reverting Bashmouth back into his human form. When the Omnitrix-lookalike was done, Ben was surprised to see...
"D-Dad?!"
"B-Bob?!"
"Wait... Ben's dad?!"
What a surprise. The human behind Bashmouth was Ben's father all along! And apparently, his name was Bob. When Bob got up, he groaned before asking "Wha? Wh-Where am I?". "It's okay son, you're safe now." replied Max. Bob is Max's son and Ben's father.
"What happened?" Max asked concerned, "I-I don't know. One moment I was walking down the street, and the next I-" Bob started saying. But before he could finish his sentence...
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
FLASH!
Red fur started covering Bob's body, before his eyes disappeared. His claws grew longer and he developed gill-like organs on the sides of his neck. I'm pretty sure this alien seems familiar to you. The Omnitrix-lookalike then appeared on the shoulder brace of his left arm.
ROOOAAARRR!
This is "Cerberoar", Bob's version of Wildmutt. Cerberoar's instincts took over, before he tried to bite Max's head off.
ROOOAAARRR!
CHOMP!
"AAH!"
Max ended up falling down from almost losing his head. Luckily, Ben punched Bob away. Gwen then tried freezing him in a solid block of ice using the Ablita Plazita spell. However, this didn't work for long as Bob was able to break free with Cerberoar's incredible strength. It would seem that Bob's aliens are stronger than Ben's.
FLASH!
Bob switched to another alien. This time, it was his version of Grey Matter which he named "Anti-Matter". Then, he started throwing red blasts everywhere.
BOOM!
"Whoa! Is that supposed to be Grey Matter?!" said Ben, before he changed form as well.
FLASH!
"Cannonbolt!"
Ben turned into an alien he called "Cannonbolt". He rolled into a big ball, before rolling towards Bob fast and smashing him into a wall.
FWOOSH!
SMASH!
"Cannonbolt Cannonball!" shouted Ben, before he managed to make Bob fly towards the road. If you're wondering why Ben isn't going easy on Bob despite him being his father, you're about to find out soon.
THUD!
"Oomph!"
"First you abandon me and my family, and now you wanna cause trouble for everyone! What kind of person are you?! You're a monster!"
After Ben said those words, the Omnitrix-lookalike timed out again and reverted Bob back into his human form once more.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
FLASH!
After Bob became human again, Ben switched back to his human form as well. Then, he shouted "Okay, what's the deal with you wrecking the place?! First you abandon me and my family, and now you wanna hurt everyone else! What kind of person are you you sicko?!". At this, Bob responded "You're a disappointment and a burden, Ben Tennyson. I couldn't care less about you." before turning into his version of XLR8 (which he named "Rush") and dashed away.
FLASH!
FWOOSH!
"Stop him!" said Ben, before he went XLR8 again and searched for his father everywhere. Unfortunately, he didn't manage to find him. Guess Bob was just that good at escaping.
A Few Minutes Later...
Even with XLR8's super speed, Ben never found his father again. Neither did Max and Gwen. Frustrated, Ben gave up. He sat down somewhere, before he changed himself back to human again.
FLASH!
"You okay sport?" asked Max, "I'm fine. I just wish I could give my stupid dad what he deserves." replied Ben. "Y'know Ben, the past dosen't really matter. It's in the past. What's important is that you do everything you can to have a better future. And maybe even a better life than your dad." said Gwen, "Yeah. You're probably right." Ben said back before he got up. "C'mon, let's go." he added, before he, Gwen and Max went back inside the Rustbucket.
Meanwhile...
Bob was looking at the Omnitrix-lookalike that he got. Apparently, it was called the "Antitrix". And it was made by an alien called "Vilgax". Whoever this "Vilgax" is, he must really have it out for Ben. Because he turned his father into one of his most powerful enemies.
