Mateo couldn't feel anything, just the need for darkness with strange lights. He didn't know why, but he felt like this was what he had to find, his first and most important priority.

Those weird big smooth rocks surrounding him didn't help at all, he wanted to destroy them. But a group of strange two-legged creatures was near, so he felt like melting under the door was the best option, since the strange-lings wanted to hurt him, Mateo felt it.

Mateo? No, that's not it…He was an abomination of the Dream and Waking Realms, a Day terror.

But he had wings, wings that were made of light and could pass through anything. Why wasn't it using those?

Right, those weird noodles growing out of his head made it hard to navigate, and it couldn't be cut off, they were a part of him now… Somehow.

Still, it could tie a part of it with… How did Lunia call those, again? Oh, yeah, a "hair" band.

Maybe that's how those noodles were called – hair.

But… Who's Lunia? Why does it have so many questions?

Nevermind, he had to find the darkness with strange lights and then ask questions that may not even have an answer.

The Day terror made some glowing particles (sand?) appear and made the band he needed to tie a part of his hair, just like she showed him.

"This is a low-side ponytail" The woman that usually had her hair down had her "hair" done with a weird end.

"Who the heck is that!" The Day terror rose it's hands in confusion and frustration. But now it realized… It has a voice, it never had a voice… Or a heavy body…Not even a conscience.

The Day terror accidentally shouted and the two-legged creature group saw him. They started running after him (Mateo?).

He made another handful of that powder from thin air and created a pretty big force that blew the attackers back.

The terror felt…Fear? Confusion? Guilt?

What was it supposed to know? It never felt emotions! Doesn't even know how to feel! Or what are emotions-feelings!

"This is so frustrating!" The terror put a flat… Hand? On it's face and made it's wings appear.

He started flying quickly through the walls while evading pure energy being blasted at it.

Suddenly the Day terror felt something familiar in it's path, something nostalgic, something that back then was sad, lonely and hurt, sinister but now accepted what held her back from change. And that something was nearing danger.

The being sighed.

It made a quick left, earning really loud screams from two not grown females. Another memory of that woman came back.

She used to scream whenever she was excited, in pain, terrified, happy or in a mood for… fighting.

It's time the Day terror picked up it's pace. It spread out it's wings completely and touched the smooth rocks for and stopped for a second when someone said:

"Mateo?..." It was the smallest non-grown woman of the two. A girl.

"I'll be back. Don't worry - I'm just going for a flight." The Day terror said something it could not understand.

"O-OK. Be careful, broseph." It looked like she was scared, but a little less that before. A sense of trust and "family" love filled her voice. It was comforting.

"Having a family that cares for you is one of the best feelings anyone can ever feel. A family is… Something you never want to lose and something that makes you stronger and makes you feel at home." She smiled.

"You should run… Or, no, better yet stay here, everyone will be here soon…"

The little girl nodded.

The Day terror had no idea who "everyone" was, but right now, he felt like his first priority wasn't to find the darkness, but to not fail the girl (sister?).

It let its front paws in the front, it's wings were still in the right position.

The being inhaled a big breath and started running nearly faster than a shadow could fall on its new heavy body

The red hair was now in sight, the Never Witch. And someone else was beside her, a black haired male.

"Yo! Matty! Your new look rocks!" Man the male's voice was very annoying.

"Shut it and close your eyes." What was it saying now? Why was it helping them?

The bystanders started blasting with their colored sticks. It was even more annoying.

The Day terror made an annoyed face, made the colored sticks disintegrate and picked up the two.

It flew faster than before.

"Logan! Never Witch!" The taller girl waved them, as if saying "I'm here!". That felt pretty stupid to do now, since it felt that the humans were trespassing and did not know anything about the area.

Well, at least it knew the name of the Black hair and could tell him to shut up properly, but that could wait.

The "others" needed saving.
