Disclaimer: Just guess what I have planned with Liberty and Arrby lol. In all seriousness, yeah; this is my way of incorporating Mighty Pups into Paw Patrol X. I didn't know how to do so at first, but The Mighty Movie did wonders in helping me figure out how I wanted to do it. I even brainstormed what Wave's power will be! I can't wait to show it off.

Also, I don't own Paw Patrol.

Powered Up Pooches arc Episode two: Adventure City Meteor Part Two

Liberty and Arrby had just agreed to be partners for this mission. Now, Liberty was trying to devise a plan to stop Victoria in time to stop the meteor. Liberty looked back to when she saw Victoria lock the cell she locked her and Arrby in after throwing them in. After that, she started explaining her plan to Arrby. "She obviously needed a key in order to open this cell. If we can get it off of her somehow, we should be able to use it to open the cell, and avoid setting off any lasers she might've planted for Dachshunds like us."

"A key you say? You mean like..." Arrby then revealed that he had the key, giving Liberty a sly grin as he did. "This?"

Liberty was amazed by what Arrby just did, doing her best to contain herself, despite her clear gushing. "How did you see that? I didn't see you move at all from that spot. That's so cool."

"I kind of have this, special power, that lets me snatch anything I see as soon as I put my mind to it. But I have to see the exact object beforehand." Arrby explained, and then he explained how that helped with getting the key off of Victoria. "I saw the key right before she put it in her pocket after locking the door."

Liberty already thought Arrby was cool from his pirate getup. Now he just made himself at least ten times cooler. "You're officially the coolest, and only pirate, I ever met." Arrby was flattered as his smile showed, and Liberty then started giving him her idea. "I'll give you a boost. Put the key in as soon as you reach the lock."

Arrby did as Liberty instructed, and Liberty stood up as tall as she could with Arrby doing the same. Arrby had to question how well this would work, since his arms weren't very long. "You sure this will work?"

"Not completely. But we don't have a lot time." Liberty admitted, and that led to Arrby focusing on the lock. He managed to get the key around it just fine before being extremely careful with turning the key around and jamming the insert end into the lock. He did his best to turn the key, which was hard for his stubby little Dachshund paws. After a bit more struggle, he managed to turn it and open the door. However, Victoria heard them with Liberty quietly praising Arrby as he jumped down. "Great work Arrby!"

"Not so fast you little brats!" Victoria shouted, which at first startled Liberty, before she shook her head and snapped out of it. At this same time, Victoria pulled out her robot device, only for it to vanish from her hand as soon as she did. "What!?" Victoria was shocked, and even more so when she saw a sly looking Arrby waving the robot control device in front of her. She charged at him, only for Arrby to press a button that led to the robot zapping Victoria and trapping her. "Hey! Put me down! I created you, and I can destroy you just as easily!"

Liberty and Arrby ran up to the device, but the moment they did, the beam fired and shot into the sky, right as the meteor shower struck. Victoria's computer started showing some readings that made it clear how it was capable of controlling the meteor. The power was high enough, and the meteor was stable enough. Liberty and Arrby expressed horror over this with Victoria being quite proud of her accomplishment. "I knew it. These past two years are finally paying off!"

Victoria's beam made its way to the meteor shower, catching the attention of some of the patrons who were watching the shower in awe. It hit the middle one right in the meteor shower, and it started flying towards Adventure City. It started off somewhat slowly, but the citizens of Adventure City who were watching were too amazed at first to notice right away. At least out of the ones who weren't helping look for Liberty. When they saw one of the meteor's moving out of orbit, they started to get confused. If only they knew what Victoria was up to.

Wave, Marshall, and Snow made their way to the apartment complex close to the ocean, hopping out of their vehicles as Marshall started explaining the plan. "We gotta move fast you two! Let's look around for Liberty, and ask if anyone's seen her!" Wave and Snow saw the meteor behind Marshall, and knew they had to act fast before it hit. "And if they haven't-"

"Maybe we should add that into our mission requirements!" Wave exclaimed as she pointed past Marshall, who looked back and saw the meteor moving out of orbit.

The sight of this made Wave, Marshall, and Snow horrified at what could happen. Marshall only had one thing to say when he saw it. "Um... it's not supposed to do that, right?"

"Gee Marshall. I don't know!" Snow exclaimed sarcastically, feeling it was pretty obvious that something was off about this.

Wave knew this wasn't going to be pretty no matter where it landed, so she got to commanding her brother and girlfriend right away. "Now we have TWO things to worry about! Marshall; Snow; start evacuating in case the meteor comes down here!" Marshall and Snow nodded, rushing off in different directions from Wave to get as many people out of the vicinity as possible.

Liberty and Arrby were trying to get the meteor out of Adventure City's path, but they found themselves unable to control the device in the slightest. Liberty started to panic as she thought about what would happen to Adventure City. "This is bad! This is really, really bad!"

Victoria laughed before taunting Liberty and Arrby after they turned around. "It's not gonna happen kid! I locked it to hit Adventure City as soon as I powered up the meteor ray, and you need my voice to reverse it with the password." Victoria finished her taunt by taking a jab at Liberty specifically. "I still can't believe Adventure City supports you over me! Just a pathetic little street rat who can't even protect them, and only joined the Paw Patrol out of luck!"

Liberty expressed confusion and even some hurt to that last part, but shook it off as she thought about what to do. Her first idea was risky, but it was the only one she could think of that would prevent the most harm. Once she found the landing zone, she started changing it to the apartment complex by the dock. Specifically, the big open area in between the apartments and the docks. Arrby was quick to question this when he noticed what Liberty was trying to do. "Liberty, what are you doing!? People have to live around that area!"

"They do! But the spot in between the buildings and the ocean is big enough to hold the meteor! And the park is the most crowded place in the city on special nights like this!" Liberty explained, making her plan of choosing the least likely spot for anyone to get hit apparent. "It'll still cause some damage to Adventure City, but at least the chance to avoid anyone getting hurt will be greater!"

Arrby saw what Liberty was saying and helped her move up to the location changing mechanic. Victoria called over to them as she expressed how pointless this was. "It doesn't matter WHERE the meteor lands! I just wanted to show Adventure City that I was brilliant enough to be supported by all of them! And that's exactly what I'll get!"

"Assuming the city's a fan of crazy ladies with bad haircuts!" Liberty sassed back, and then she got to changing the location as carefully as she could. She didn't have a lot of time to react, but she wasn't about to give up on her city. After a few more seconds of quick but careful work, she was able to redirect the meteor to the spot she had in mind. Once she got it, she sighed of relief before Arrby helped her down and stated the next part of her plan. "We gotta find my Pup-Tag! I can call Chase and have him take Victoria to jail!"

"I think we already know I saw that too." Arrby assured Liberty, handing it to her and helping her put it on as he got a call from Sid.

Sid was quick to express concern for Arrby, and also concern for the mission. "Arrby! Are you okay? I just saw the meteor start to come down. Did you find out how to stop it?"

Arrby looked at the monitor with concern, turning around as he nervously answered Sid's questions. "I'm okay. And... not exactly."

Liberty gave Chase a call at the same time, filling him in on what happened. "Chase! I need you at the small laboratory near the ocean! You know where it is, right!?"

"Yeah, I passed by it once! I'm on my way!" Chase assured Liberty, making her smile, being glad that she at least got to bring Victoria to justice. However, she then heard the meteor crash on the monitor. She jumped up to the chair and got a look at what happened, seeing that the meteor created a big hole in Adventure City! It was a lot of damage, and only one meteor caused it. Liberty started to feel like this was because she couldn't figure out how to stop it. Arrby saw the look in her eyes and tried to comfort her. But seeing her city damaged like that... hurt her.

Back with Wave, Marshall, and Snow, the three Canines were helping everyone get as far away from the meteor as possible with Marshall bringing them all to their vehicles. There was a barrier around it that would shield them all from the meteor. They seemed to have figured out what was happening rather quickly. "Everyone inside the barrier! It's your safest way of surviving the meteor!" Just then, Wave noticed a Boxer who was so scared he couldn't move. Knowing he was in the meteor's path, Wave rushed in, much to Marshall and Snow's concern. "Wave!"

After Wave ran off, Marshall and Snow saw what she was trying to do, and she didn't waste a second in saving the boxer. She ran as fast as she could, even front flipping over the area's gate. She tackled the Boxer out of the meteor's way The two of them barely avoided the impact of the meteor, which dragged across the ground until it stopped. A big holed was created thanks to the meteor. Before addressing it, Wave helped the Boxer up as Marshall and Snow came over to check on her. "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay." The Boxer answered, shaking off his fear long enough to thank Wave for saving her. "Thank you so much!"

Wave hugged the Boxer before he headed off, leaving Marshall to do the same for her after he and Snow walked over to her. "You're awesome, Wave." Wave embraced Marshall a bit while giggling, and then he pulled her away while smiling with some words about how worried he was about her. "Still. as glad as we are that no one got hurt, an 'I'm going in!' would be nice for when you do this stuff."

"Yeah, no kidding." Snow chimed in, expressing more fear for Wave's safety than she usually did. "You scared me half to death!"

Wave chuckled a bit, knowing she had quite the habit of rushing in to either save someone, or make sure a bad guy didn't escape proper justice. "Sorry. I know I still do that a lot. Even after learning how to think my actions through."

Snow kissed Wave's cheek, giving her some advice that she hoped she'd take to heart. "Just try to look after yourself too, okay? You only have one life."

"And I don't plan on wasting it." Wave told Snow lovingly, making her hope she would take her advice. Wave's heart was as pure as it got, but she still had her struggles when listening to what others told her, over what said heart told her to do.

Marshall rubbed Wave's head affectionately before he looked over to the meteor, being in complete shock by how it just crashed into Adventure City. He walked over to it with Wave and Snow, who were both in the same state he was. The more they looked at the meteor, the harder it was to make sense out of it. They also noticed that the meteor was glowing. Was that normal for meteors? Or was this a special kind of meteor? Marshall made a call to Ryder, knowing he'd want to see this. "Hey. Ryder? You might wanna come take a look at this."

Chase, Liberty, and Arrby were the last to arrive at the meteor site, heading on over after Chase left his car, and Liberty and Arrby hopped off of her scooter. Chase gave the citizens some advice after he started walking over with some tape. "We'll give you the go ahead as soon as we set this tape up! For now, just stay back!"

On the way over, Liberty realized something that she and Arrby hadn't done. "Oh, right! I just realized we hadn't introduced ourselves yet. Chase called you 'Arrby' when he arrived, right?"

Arrby smiled, being more than pleased to meet Liberty, despite the circumstances. "Yes. My name is Arrby. Thanks for the help with the meteor."

Liberty had her doubts about failing to stop the meteor entirely. Despite her brief showing of doubt, she smiled and introduced herself to Arrby. "Not a problem Arrby. My name's Liberty."

"Well Liberty, from what I've seen, you've definitely earned your spot on the team." Arrby said, making Liberty smile as they then walked onward. However, Liberty was still upset about what happened to Adventure City, even though no one got hurt. She was already given new concerns from learning she had Autism. But failing to stop the meteor from hitting Adventure City made Victoria's words ring inside her mind, which only amplified said concerns. She felt like she let them down. And she hated letting people down.

Liberty and Arrby arrived at the scene, and when Wave spotted them, she was the first to express joy and relief that Liberty was okay. "Libby!" The others saw as well once Wave exclaimed Liberty's nickname, and when Liberty went over to hug her, they were all as ecstatic as her. Liberty braced herself for a hug, which Wave gave to her without hesitation. "You have no idea how glad I am to see that you're okay!" Wave then noticed Arrby and fist bumped him after offering it to him. "Arrby! It's great to see you again! Liberty told us about your mission."

"I know. I was there when she called you." Arrby confirmed, and then he and Liberty got sight of the meteor damages in person. Liberty was even more crushed upon seeing them in person. But Arrby, who was also crushed, managed to speak for both of them. "Sorry we couldn't stop the meteor completely. A dumb Victoria voice lock got in the way."

"So it WAS you two who redirected it!" Wave said proudly, glad that Liberty and Arrby managed to help out against the meteor in the end. "Don't worry too much about it. You did great given the circumstances."

Wave, Liberty, and Arrby walked over to the meteor with Sid rubbing Arrby's head while confirming he heard the conversation. "That's right. It helps we have a pup here who knows the city."

Liberty giggled a bit before clarifying her age, despite it not really being needed. "I'm actually thirteen now."

"So am I!" Arrby exclaimed happily before looking into the meteor crater with Wave and Liberty, where Ryder was shown looking into the meteor with Chase.

Chase and Ryder saw something in the very core of the meteor, unsure about what it could be. Just in case it ended up being radioactive or something, Ryder carefully reached into the meteor and grabbed the core part of it. After doing so, Rocky tossed a capsule down to him. "Ryder! Heads up!"

Ryder caught the capsule and put the meteor into it, deciding to keep it in there until they got back. "Thanks Rocky!" Chase and Ryder inspected the meteor piece, hoping it didn't end up being the cause of anything dangerous. "We can't take any risk with this meteorite Chase. The fact that it crashed in the city at all is a bad sign."

"Not to worry Ryder sir. I'll make sure nothing bad happens to it!" Chase assured Ryder, giving a salute to his leader and making him smile at his dutiful nature.

Chase and Ryder emerged from the crater and showed the rest of the team the meteorite when Chase started putting police tape around the area for everyone's safety. Wave was quick to comment on the meteorite's glow, wondering what the glow could indicate. "Do you think it's glowing to let us know something?"

"It might be. We can't know for sure until we inspect it thoroughly." Ryder answered, leaving Wave and the others hoping that Victoria's plan wasn't leading to any more serious destruction happening to Adventure City. Luckily, they had something back at the HQ that could contain the meteorite.

Back at the HQ, Wave and the others were getting a good night sleep after the meteor crashing of Adventure City. Arrby was sleeping in the garage, as there were no spare beds for him, and Sid was taking over the couch. Arrby didn't mind however. This gave him a good reason to help out by guarding the meteorite. He was surprised to be awoken by the elevator opening, and he instantly got up and called over to it. "Who's there!? Identify yourself! I'm a pirate who can take your stuff just by looking at it!"

Liberty laughed at Arrby's reaction as she walked over to him. "Sorry dude, I didn't mean to startle you. I just came down to check on you."

Arrby was glad to see Liberty, despite how he just reacted to her entrance. "Oh. Well thanks." Liberty and Arrby then noticed the meteorite glowing in the far end of the garage. It was hard not to notice, especially while they were both awake. Liberty didn't know why, but something told her to go to the meteorite. When she did, Arrby expressed concern. "Um, Liberty? I don't know if we should go near the meteorite before it's inspected."

"I don't know Arrby." Liberty admitted, expressing her weird feeling to him as he walked next to her. "I think it WANTS me to go near it." Liberty and Arrby walked over to the meteorite, and Liberty got a good look at it, wondering what it was trying to tell her. Her curiosity overcame her, and she impulsively opened up the barrier, much to Arrby's concern.

Liberty continued walking over to the meteorite with Arrby trying to convince her to come down when the rising hatch brought them up. "Seriously Liberty. We don't know what this thing could do."

Liberty tried to resist the urges to touch the meteorite, but after a few seconds, she caved. "We're about to find out!" As soon as she touched the meteorite, her paw started a blue circle like thing. This went over the meteorite and closed on the end as if it was doing a start and stop on opposite ends. After this, the meteorite suddenly caused some kind of shock wave that caused all of the power in the lights in the HQ to go out. This startled Liberty and Arrby, but when they came back on, Liberty started questioning what she just witnessed. "Weird."

Just then, the meteorite started breaking up into crystals, one of which hit Liberty's Pup-Tag and caused her to fall down. Once she fell to the ground, Arrby hopped down and checked on her out of worry. "Liberty! Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks." Liberty answered gratefully, and then she saw that the meteorite shards were spreading, flying past Liberty and Arrby and over to the garage window. Liberty jumped up at the last one, grabbing it with her front paws before slipping off and falling on a conveniently placed pillow. Arrby ran over to her as the two saw the crystals fly out of the window after opening it. The two of them had no idea what was going on. Out of fear for how this would look, Liberty looked from side to side in case anyone was there. "I didn't do it!"

Liberty and Arrby then noticed that Liberty's crystal was glowing again. They had no idea what this meant, or what was going to happen. They also couldn't help thinking about what was going to happen with the rest of the meteorite. The remaining shards had to have flown out of the window for a reason. If only they could think of what that reason might be. Confused beyond belief, Liberty and Arrby looked at each other with concern, hoping the shards weren't there to cause trouble.

The next morning, Liberty was explaining the situation to the rest of the team, who'd just figured out what happened. "And then I came down here to check on Arrby, and then the meteorite started glowing again, and I got this huuuuuge urge to touch it, and I did, and then the meteorites started flying out of the window!" Ryder saw how bad Liberty felt for any harm she might've caused, especially when she begged Ryder not to punish Arrby. "I'm so sorry Ryder! It was all me! Arrby tried to stop me! Please don't hurt him! I'm the one who deserves it!"

Ryder was stunned by what Liberty said about not 'hurting' Arrby. She clearly had a bad history of how people responded to her mistakes. At least before she came to Adventure City. Liberty was surprised when Ryder smiled, showing that he wasn't going to... hurt her, as she put it. "No one's gonna get hurt Liberty. Just try to work on your impulse control, okay?"

Liberty was unsure of how to respond, since she never lived with anyone who didn't hit her for screwing up before. But then again, she only had one home before Adventure City, and the city was too big to be a simple house. "Um, yeah. Okay. Will do Ryder." Arrby noticed Liberty's tone shift, wondering what that could've possibly come from.

Wave walked over to Liberty while showing off her crystal to her. "Look at it this way Liberty. At least the crystals didn't fly off to people who wouldn't know what to do about it." Liberty saw Wave's point, and Wave then let her know that she'd be there to help her work on her impulse control. "And so you're more capable of avoiding making decisions like that more often, I'll be there to help you work on your impulse control! We can get some tips from Rocky too if you like." Wave offered Liberty a hi paw, and the grateful Dachshund accepted, only for...

POW

The hi paw ended up hurting more than anticipated, leading to Liberty's paw stinging, and Wave being confused and concerned as Liberty yelped in response. "Ow!"

She then whimpered with Marshall coming over to check on her as Wave apologized for what happened. "I-I'm sorry Liberty! I don't know what happened there!" Wave then saw that her paw was flowing with an intense aura of green power. Marshall, Liberty, and Ryder saw this too, leaving Wave amazed by what she witnessed. She decided to try something, focusing a lot of power to her legs, or what would usually be her normal amount. And when she jumped up, she went even higher than before. This made her laugh in glee and amazement.

Wave looked down to see how high up she was, in awe at just how much height she was able to get with one jump. When she descended, she realized she didn't have a good way of knowing how to land. "Uh-oh." As she fell, Chase saw in an instant and ran over to her, only to be surprised when he went much faster than intended. While he did grab Wave by jumping, he ended up skidding on the ground and tripping over a garage stair. This caused him and Wave to tumble as a result.

Wave and Chase recovered quickly, leaving Wave to shake her head before thanking Chase. "Talk about a fast save. Thanks Chase!"

Chase gave a thumbs up and nod, despite the save not going as intended. Just then, Rubble was shown rolling past Wave and Chase, and over to where Rocky, Zuma, Claw and Charm were. He was laughing like the kid he was as he rolled past them like a super charged bowling ball. Rocky and Zuma had to jump out of the way because of how fast he was going. He even ended up crashing into a big pile of stuff, causing it to spread all over the room. Some of it flew towards Rocky, who put his paws up to catch it, knowing he'd be strong enough to do so.

However, Rocky ended up doing something else instead. When he put his paws out, he stopped the stuff that was flying for him with some form of telekinesis. The stuff became surrounded by a green aura after that. Rubble, who laughed a bit after recovering from his crash when Ryder helped him up, announced what he just turned into in immense delight. "I'm a wrecking ball!" He then expressed admiration for Rocky's ability when he saw what he was doing with his own power. "Whoa!"

Rocky laughed a bit, finding it amazing that he was actually performing this magnetic telekinesis. "I know, right!? I'm a walking magnet!" Just then, several small objects, particularly spoons and forks, started clinging to him. This also led to Zuma, who was the closest to him, getting stuck to him when his Pup-Tag did the same thing. Rocky and Zuma smiled to each other when this happened. "Sorry about that."

"Hey, I'm not complaining." Zuma assured Rocky lovingly, and then his paws started to glow blue. When he pointed his paw out, he sprayed some water to the side, becoming overjoyed as he realized what his power was. "Dude! I'm one with the water!" Zuma decided to test something else out, and this test led to him turning into water completely. He moved around a bit after that, rising up and appearing in between Charm and Claw with immense joy. "This is the coolest biwthday pwesent ever!"

Charm smirked as he pointed out a flaw in what Zuma just said. "Zuma, your birthday was yesterday."

"Then it's the coolest LATE biwthday pwesent ever!" Zuma stated happily, laughing a bit before Claw decided to test out his own power.

Claw spawned some kind of shield after putting his paw up when it turned purple. It was about his size, and he took quite a liking to how powerful it looked. "A shield fit for a knight."

Zuma whispered something to Charm, who snickered as they picked up a nearby magnet. Zuma tossed it to Claw as Charm called to him. "Hey Knight boy! Heads up!" Claw caught the magnet, only for Rocky to fly over to him as soon as he did. After Rocky crashed into Claw, the two ended up rolling before falling flat on the ground. Charm and Zuma laughed at their little prank with Claw laughing with them, and Rocky giving a deadpan expression.

Once Charm and Zuma pulled Rocky and Claw away, Charm joked with his brother about the prank. "I'm sure Claw would've accepted a hug if you'd asked Rocky." Rocky rolled his eyes while smiling, leaving Claw and Zuma to hi paw over the prank.

Snow was already putting her new powers to good use. She was given creation powers, and she was using them to make a mural with some on command color switching paint. She continued shooting paint at the wall as Skye flew over, and she was impressed by what Snow was making. "That looks amazing Snow! You're really making good use of your power."

Snow was revealed to be making a mural of the crystals as a reminder of what was giving them all their powers. She smiled as she looked at it too, glad that Skye took a liking to it. "Thanks Skye. I think it's really coming together." Snow then started to think about whether or not she should add something else there. "Should I add more pazazz to it?"

With Marshall, his paws started to glow red. This surprised him, Wave, Liberty, Arrby, and Chase, who were all nearby. When he lifted them up, he saw a fireball start to form in them. This amazed Marshall, who was drawn to the look of the fire. "Whoa. It's some kind of fireball."

"Well that makes sense. You're our fire pup." Chase said, and then he addressed Wave's role on the team. "Well, our FIRST fire pup that is."

Wave giggled a bit before wondering what the rest of the team got for their powers. "Fire, water, Spin Dash esc move... that just leaves you and Everest, Chase."

As the other four looked at the fireball and Liberty spoke up, Chase suddenly moved super quickly to a different part of the room. "Given that every power is related to our jobs, Everest should've gotten ice powers."

Arrby looked around and saw that Chase was gone from the spot he was at before. "Hey. Where'd Chase go?"

"Guys! Over here!" Chase called from afar, surprising the others when they saw him waving from the stairs.

Marshall waved to his best friend while questioning how he got there so fast. "Wow Chase! You sure got over there really fast!"

Chase zipped over to the group again, startling Marshall when he got behind him with a sly grin. "Get over where?" Marshall accidentally threw the fireball after that, almost hitting Snow, who was pushed out of the way by Skye when she saw it.

"Thanks Skye." Snow thanked Skye, and then they saw what happened with the others rushing over as she did. The fireball ended up hitting a computer that was right below Snow's new mural. Snow gave a deadpan expression when she looked at Marshall, having quickly put two and two together about what just happened. "Thanks Marshall. It slipped my mind that I wanted to get burned by a rogue fireball."

Marshall chuckled nervously before apologizing for almost hitting Snow. "I'm really sorry about that Snow."

Zuma then came in and started putting the fire out with his water powers. "No sweat. I got it."

As he did, Liberty joked about Marshall's new powers not being the easiest to control for him. "Just great. Now the clumsy dog can shoot fire balls out of his paws." Marshall chuckled nervously again while scratching the back of his head. However, Marshall's butt was shown with Charm revealed to be right behind him as he unintentionally hit him with...

PFFFFFFFFFFT

...a loud and bassy five second fire fart, making Marshall's butt burn and vibrate as he covered Charm in a flaming blast. Marshall blushed and rubbed his butt when looking back at his flaming friend. However, Charm didn't seem phased by this, instead laughing at how it felt on him. "Awesome! I always wanted to bathe in fire!" Everest came along and used her ice powers to cool Charm's burns so they didn't get too serious. After this, he broke the ice quickly, showing that he was able to handle the pain. "Thank you Everest. Now I know what fire AND ice feel like."

"My pleasure Charm." Everest stated, and Marshall turned around to apologize as Liberty thought about what her power was.

Liberty didn't sense any glowing from her paws, or any real indication of what her power could be. This concerned her, but she knew she at least had to give it a shot. She put her paws out in case she got fire powers too. However, it was to no avail. Wave saw her when she tried to mimic Chase's super speed, only to skid and bump into the wall. Wave optimistically asked about her progress. "What's your power Libby?"

"Good question. I'm trying to figure it out." Liberty answered, attempting to become water like Zuma, only to end up going nowhere. When she saw a spoon on the ground, she extended her paws and attempted to levitate it like Rocky did prior. She strained hard when she did this, and there was no glowing coming from her paws. Wave waited in anticipation to see if something would happen. Liberty strained harder and harder to get the spoon to move, until eventually...

PHHHHHHHHHHT

...a loud and bassy five second fart escaped Liberty's vibrating butt, letting out a green cloud of rotten vegetables when it did. This made Liberty flinch, and she and Wave then giggled at the fart before Liberty sighed, annoyed at the fact that she seemingly had no powers. "What gives? Every pup on the team got powers but me! What a rip off."

In an attempt to cheer Liberty up, Wave started talking about what her power could be based on what else they saw. "Marshall has fire powers, Zuma has water powers, Skye can fly, and so on. They all seem to be linked to our roles on the team in some way. Besides mine anyway." Liberty looked at Wave before she carefully placed a paw on her shoulder. "It's like these crystals amplify something about you."

Liberty felt that made enough sense. She just wished she knew what to think of. It's not like she was special in any way. "But I'm just... Liberty. What's MY thing?" Wave and Liberty saw the other pups playing around with their powers. Marshall set a small fire trail, and Zuma dove down with his water powers to put it out. The two laughed after he rose up from it. Wave noticed Liberty starting to worry about not contributing enough to the team. It was obvious with how her tone started to drop. "You guys all have something that's... special about you."

Wave didn't want Liberty to beat herself up about this. And she had a feeling she knew what this was about. "You couldn't have done anything to stop that meteor Libby. You said it yourself. It was activated by Victoria's voice."

"I know that Wave. It's just that..." Liberty started to say, but she struggled to fully open up about it.

Liberty ended up flashing back to what Victoria said. "I still can't believe Adventure City supports you over me! Just a pathetic little street rat who can't even protect them, and only joined the Paw Patrol out of luck!"

When the flashback ended, Liberty shook her head, trying not to think about Victoria's words. She put on a smile for Wave, who knew she was still hurt about something. However, Wave noticed Liberty tug her ear a bit before she did. "I just hope I get my power soon. I wanna do my part."

Wave didn't want to pressure Liberty, instead, opting to let her know she was there for her with a smile of her own. "You'll get it soon Libby. I'm sure of it. And even if you don't, it's like I said yesterday. We all help each other as much as we help other people."

Liberty looked at Wave with a smile, even though she was still insecure about her ability to help others. "Thanks Wave." Wave hugged Liberty after offering it to her, and she wrapped her arms around her as a result. This was when Liberty frowned. She wanted to open up to Wave about her feelings. But she wasn't used to telling others how she felt about her doubts. And while the others, especially Wave, have definitely helped... sometimes, she still had her fears of scaring others off, or letting them down. And learning she had Autism two days ago gave her more worry.

To be continued.

Rock music started playing as Wave started talking about what was going to happen with specific moments from the next chapter being shown. "What!? Victoria broke out of prison already!? And she broke Humdinger out too! Oh, wait; that makes a lot more sense. Well, at least we have our new powers to help us out now. This is gonna be a piece of cake! Huh? Libby, what's wrong? Well, since the prison breakers haven't done anything crazy just yet, I'm gonna get this cheer up party ready!"

Wave finished the announcement with the words Paw Patrol in all blue with red outlines surrounded with a white border with Wave on the right, and Marshall on the left. "Next time, Adventure City Meteor Part Three!" Wave and Liberty were shown driving around Adventure City as Wave was making an offer to Liberty. "I think what Liberty needs is a close friend with experience to help her remember what she can do!"
