Ron painfully staggered back to his feet as the full impact of what had just happened began to fully sink in.

"Kim...they...they took her...they actually took her..." he whispered hoarsely, his pale face looking equal parts dejected and defeated. He slumped hopelessly against the wall with a sharp gasp. His eyes were wide with horror as he began to hyperventilate in panic.

"Dude, this isn't happening...this just CAN'T be happening! AAARRGGGGHHH!" he wailed.

Klaus and Kali, the two monstrous servants of (apparently) Mr. Maxwell McDougall, the mysterious billionaire who lived on the outskirts of Middleton, had made short work of him and the twins, knocking them around helplessly like little rag dolls and then carrying off the unconscious Kim with barely any effort.

"Oooohhh..."

"Ughhhh..."

Tim and Jim, still sprawled down on the floor, began to stir and wake, not that Ron even noticed.

Grim and horrible possibilities began to run through Ron's mind, as he pictured what they were going to do to Kim...

Just what did they want with her, anyway?

To use her for experiments?

To keep her as a midnight snack for vampires?

To turn her into a vampire?

Nasty scenes from every trashy horror movie he had ever seen began to flash before his eyes, as he pictured trying to do future missions with a vampirized Kim Possible for his partner (of course, in that particular future, they would have to do EVERYTHING by night...)

"I'm Kim Possible! I can SUCK anything!" *HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!*

He shuddered as his eyes bugged out.

"NO WAY, DUDE!" he screamed. "NOT GONNA HAPPEN!"

"...huh?" muttered the twins as they slowly came awake. "No way...what?"

"I won't let them turn KP into a bloodsucking creature of the night!" shouted Ron. "I mean, think about it! She'd be breaking her parents' curfew all the time if she could only come out after the sun went down! It would just be so weird...and awkward...awkweird...!"

He tightened his shaking hands into fists. His normally benign, carefree face shaped itself into a grim mask of resolve and defiance.

"Not my Kim..." he growled.

Tim and Jim looked at each other worriedly. "Uh, Ron...how, uh...how hard did you get hit in the head-"

But Ron never even heard them. In a flash, he had already bounded down the stairs and made a beeline for the front door.

"Ah, I do so enjoy weather such as this!" exclaimed Klaus cheerfully as he approached the rear-most door of the black limousine, the still-slumbering Kim lying motionless in his arms. "These bitter temperatures, this heavy, clotting fog, this tenebrous, bleak environment...why, one couldn't ask for more!"

"It is nice, isn't it?" answered Kali, as she reached forward and grabbed hold of the door handle for him. "Though summoning a miasma on this scale couldn't have been easy...I certainly hope that our master is able to recover his strength after such a display of power."

"Do you think, perhaps, Miss Kali, that he intends to use these four individuals for...future sustenance?" asked Klaus, as he looked fixedly at Kim's beautiful face. "He seems to have chosen some rather outstanding specimens, if that is the case!"

"I would not venture to guess, Klaus" answered Kali, "but I am simply beside myself with anticipation to return to the estate with his prizes! He has promised us a great reward for our efforts tonight-"

"H-HEY!" cried a familiar voice. "S-TOP RIGHT TH-THERE!"

The two kidnappers instantly ceased their conversation.

"Mmm?" hummed Klaus as he slowly turned back towards the Possible house. "And just what do we have here?"

"The little fool..." growled Kali as she also turned back to face the source of the cry. "He simply doesn't know when to give up, does he?"

Ron stood at the head of the driveway, literally shaking with rage, his bloodshot eyes bulging out of their sockets, his hands curled into fists as his breath rolled in and out like loud, violent ocean waves.

"Let...her...G-GO!" he shouted, his quivering voice cracking a bit.

"I'm afraid that is quite impossible, young man!" replied Klaus, clutching Kim tightly in his chubby but strong arms. "We have orders to follow!"

"She belongs to us, now" said Kali, coldly. "And I'm quite sure that in time, she will forget all about you..."

"KP is my girl, got it? And like I said...you're not taking her ANYWHERE!" he roared. His normally goofy, nasally sounding voice had strangely grown deeper. He felt a weird, electric surge shoot through his limbs at intervals, as if his nervous system was conducting some kind of mysterious current of power.

"Look!" he shouted, "I might not be the brightest crayon in the tackle box! Or the sharpest knife in the first-aid kit! Or even the...toughest cookie...in the, uh...cookie...jar-"

"Stop making a fool of yourself!" hissed Kali, her patience now shot to hell. "You've lost! It's over-"

"NOTHING IS OVER!" screamed Ron as tears began to well up in his eyes. Seeing Kim - the most important thing in his life - lying helpless in Klaus' arms was driving him over the edge. And he wasn't about to let a bunch of freaks - like them - use her as some kind of blood bank.

"NOTHING MATTERS MORE TO ME THAN KIM! I DON'T CARE HOW POWERFUL YOU GUYS ARE!" he exploded. "SHE'S STAYING RIGHT HERE! CAPEESH?!"

There was a sudden gust of wind. A gust so powerful, it was actually clearing up the mist a bit.

Ron felt something inside of him completely him take over. And he didn't fight it.

Klaus continued to chuckle with an expression of amusement, but Kali's eyes twitched as her mouth dropped open.

She sensed that...something...was about to happen...some kind of hidden power was about to reveal itself. To her surprise, there really was more to this 'stupid, worthless boy' than she had first assumed.

And then, with his eyes shut tight and his mouth gaping wide open, Ron threw back his head and let out a scream. Not his usual comical wail of fear, but a deep, almost lion-like roar of animal fury.

There was a blinding flash of blue light and a smell like gunpowder.

Out of desperation, Ron's mystical monkey powers had activated, enveloping Ron in a blue, flame-like aura that was actually causing the surrounding mist to break up and dissipate.

"Oh my!" said Klaus, sounding more amused than surprised. "It appears that there is far more to this young man than meets the eye!"

"Indeed..." whispered Kali, as her as her expression turned from annoyance back to hunger.

What manner of sorcery was this? She had never encountered it before in the many, many long years she had existed. No matter. At least he might provide a bit of amusement...not like so many of the other weak little fools that she had so effortlessly torn apart in combat.

Ron had completely transformed - the goofy, freckle-faced teenager who loved video games, Mexican food and geek culture had completely gone away. In his place was a brutal, cold-hearted warrior with only one directive - to kick some ass and take some names.

He stared down Kali and Klaus with a laser-like intensity that could burn holes through solid rock. He might have been Kim's goofy sidekick ninety-nine percent of the time, but that remaining one percent was going to prove that it was beyond invaluable.

"Let me handle this" said Kali as she walked slowly towards Ron with a grin, his eyes glowing a furious, electric blue. "It's a been a while since I've had a proper workout."

"Of course!' answered Klaus. "Enjoy yourself to the fullest!"

"Oh, I shall" she answered as she licked her lips, once again feeling a terrible thirst for blood flare up within her. "I certainly shall..."

Pausing several paces in front of Ron - with his aura casting a ghostly blue glow in all directions - Kali assumed a fighting stance and bared her fangs as a red, flame-like aura of her own suddenly ignited and surrounded her body. "I certainly hope you can live through this, boy" she scoffed. "It's not often that mortals such as yourself get the chance to tangle with beings of my caliber-"

Without warning, Ron rushed forward at lightning speed and decked Kali in the face with a savage right hook, sending her flying backwards through the air as if she had been struck by a speeding car.

Kali was astonished. No one had ever landed the first blow against her. No one.

"You talk too much, lady" snarled Ron in a cold voice. "Either shit or get off the pot."

"Oh my!" laughed Klaus. "He's actually providing a challenge, this one! Fabulous!"

Lithe and cat-like, Kali corrected herself and flipped backwards in midair, landing gracefully on her feet as a small trickle of blood began to run from the corner of her mouth. She reached up with her finger, dabbed at it, and then stared down at it in shock.

She couldn't remember the last time she had seen her own blood...

"Are you alright, my dear?" called Klaus, as the sleeping Kim let out a soft groan. "Looks as though you've found a victim that actually bites back! Ha ha ha!"

"Unbelievable..." whispered Kali with a thrill as she grinned maniacally. "At long last...someone who can actually hold his own in a fight...how delicious..."

She slowly rose back up to full height, reached up with her left hand and then pulled out the pin that was keeping her hair up in a tight bun. A cascade of long, flaming red hair fell down to her waist, making her look like some kind of dark underworld goddess of legend.

"I was wrong about you..." she hissed seductively with a lustful grimace as she bared her clawed fingers. "You truly are a worthy opponent-"

"Shut up, you old hag" said Ron. "Let's get this over with before your old bones crumble into dust."

Kali's breath stopped. Her face was priceless.

In truth, and in spite of her age, Kali didn't look old at all. She looked as young and fresh as Kim herself, though far taller and more refined.

But she was still offended. Very offended.

"Old...hag...?" she stuttered in shock.

"Yup" said Ron.

"OLD HAG?!" she screamed.

"Temper, my dear!" called Klaus with a chuckle. "Take care!"

"You...little...BASTARD!" she screamed. With a growl that sounded like an enraged mountain lion, she fired up the red aura surrounding her body, shooting a flare of crimson light up into the misty night sky.

"Yeah, big deal" answered Ron with a faint smirk. "I can do that, too..."

He fired up his own aura, the blue flames forming a pillar of light that shot straight upwards.

"What a show!" cried Klaus in excitement. "Such a fantastic evening this has been!"

With all of the noise, Kim began to stir in Klaus' arms.

"Ugghhh...oof..." she groaned as she slowly opened her eyes, and deep sleep gave way to groggy wakefulness.

"Ah, back with us now? Splendid!" chuckled Klaus. "You're just in time for the spectacle!"

"Wha...spec...spectacle...what...what...WHAT IS GOING ON?!" she exploded as she suddenly remembered everything. She began to struggle violently in his arms, but they were as solid and unyielding as iron.

"Let go of me!" she roared. "Do you have ANY idea who you're dealing with?"

"Please don't struggle, Miss Possible!" answered Klaus. "Even if you are under the master's protection, Miss Kali and I have been authorized to use force...painful force, if necessary..."

But Kim didn't listen. "LIKE...I...SAID..." she repeated, "do you have ANY idea who you're dealing with? I'm KIM POSSIBLE! I've fought mad scientists, androids, mutants, even ALIENS-"

Klaus just laughed. "Oh, my love, you're strong! There's no doubt about that! But you have only fought mere mortals! There are OTHER powers and potencies out there that have escaped your attention! We are old. We are wise. And we are stronger..." His genteel voice began to grow deeper.

Kim stared into his comical pudgy face, with its piggish little grin, and noticed a faint red glow behind his thick glasses. She felt her fear began to rise again.

"Who...are...you...people?" she stammered. "This is so not happening to me!"

"Oh, but it is!" laughed Klaus good-naturedly. "And it certainly isn't a BAD thing-"

"I'm going to drain every last drop of blood from your body..." spat Kali, as some of the grass on the Possible's front lawn began to catch fire from her blazing aura.

Ron did not answer.

"...huh?" cried Kim as she turned her head to face the enraged vampire woman.

Kali's beautiful face was contorted in wrath as her eyes glowed blood red. "But I'm not going to suck it out of you...I'm going to rip you in half and lap it up..."

"Don't make such a scary face" said Ron. "You'll get wrinkles."

Kali roared like a beast and then dashed forward, ready to follow through on her threats and slash Ron to bloody pieces.

And then Kim noticed Ron. And the unbelievable transformation he had undergone.

"Oh...my...GOD!" she cried out.
