At the First Realm, Faith and the other Dragon Hunters were busy fixing their vehicles before they saw something appearing in the sky, a dark cloud. "The Darkness came upon us in the Middle of the day, unnatural darkness fueled us with fear." Faith's voice said as a black portal opened up as The Alpha and The Omega stepped out while the Dragon Hunters ready their weapons. "The Oni has returned!"
The Dragon Hunters began running for their lives as more Onis appeared and surrounded them as Faith and her Dragon Riders tried to fight back as they flew towards the dark clouds "We tried to fight them with the help of our dragons." As the Dragon Riders fired their Elemental Beams, it did nothing as some tentacles then grabbed them. "But in the end, Darkness prevailed. One by one, we fell. Until I was the last."
Faith and Firstbourne flew towards one of the tentacles and got one of the riders free, but they were pulled back as Faith looked in horror at what happened to her people. "I saw that we could not defeat it. So I fled." She said as Faith and Firstbourne flew up and Firstbourne opened a portal and escaped the First Realm before The Darkness could get them.
"I came to warn you." Faith finished as she laid on a bed with Misako right beside the bed.
"It was wise to flee." Wu said to her as he walked in.
Faith grunted as she laid back down. "Was it? Now I wonder. Could I have fought harder? Could I have done something?" She questioned in guilt.
"If you had stayed, you would have fallen into Darkness just like the others." Misako said as she placed a hand on Faith.
"But what if I led them here?" Faith asked in guilt.
"Do not think of such thoughts." Wu told her. "The evil that has come here only has itself to blame." They then heard the monks talking about the Ninja being back as they saw the Bounty flying towards them. "Let us see what news the Ninja have brought." He suggested with a smile as they got out and saw the Destiny's Bounty landing at the side as Wu and Misako stepped forward to the gates as they saw the Ninja, Seliel, Skylor, and Harumi walking in with glum and sad looks.
"What is it?" Wu asked in concern.
The group stood in silence for a bit. "It's Cole. He… He's…" Nya stammered as she covered her face.
"He's gone." Jay finished for her while placing a hand on her shoulder.
"He fell into the Darkness." Kai said solemnly. "And… we don't know if he survived the fall."
This shocked Wu, Misako, and the rest of the Monks as Misako placed a comforting hand on the distrusted Wu. "And… the Realm Crystal?" Wu asked.
"We destroyed it, but it was only a key. It didn't stop them." Lydie said with sadness.
"What do we do now?" Misako asked in worry.
"Luckily, you have me." Garmadon said as he came in with the Golden Armor.
"Garmadon?" Misako asked in surprise.
"My love, under normal circumstances I would've said something heartfelt and sweet." Garmadon said with a frown. "But this is not the time or place for such things." He said as he walked forward to his brother. "Wu, wipe that gloomy look off your face and do something with this." He said as he tossed the Golden Armor to his brother, who caught it.
"The Armor of the Golden Master?" Wu said in shock.
"Nya has this idea of melting the armor down and reforging the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu." Seliel said to them. "If it works, we might stand a chance against the Oni."
Wu looked at the armor and gave a determined look. "Prepare the forge." He told the monks as he gave the armor to Kai.
"Guess I better get to it, huh?" Kai said with a frown, still not sure if he could do it.
"Kai. You're the Master of Fire. Only your power can melt the gold back into the weapons." Skylor said to her boyfriend as the others went up to him in support. "You can do this."
"Yeah, right. How hard can it be?" Kai questioned as he walked up to Wu and picked up the Golden Armor as the Ninja walked up to the forge while Wu looked down in sadness.
"Cole." Wu muttered solemnly as Misako put her hand on his back in comfort.
A bit later, Kai was in his old blacksmith suit as he focused his powers and summoned two fireballs. "Let's do this." He said with determination as he shot fire at the forge.
The Ninja all watched as Kai lowered the Golden Armor as it began to melt. After melting the armor back to its liquid form, Kai then started reshaping the Golden Weapons again as best he could as he hammered a weapon down, taking a breather as he wiped his brow as the Ninja all watched in wonder.
After much hard labor, Kai presented the Sword of Fire, now back to its original form as he held his sword up with a proud smile. "The Sword of Fire." Kai said proudly as Wu hummed with a proud look.
A bit later, Kai showed the Nunchucks of Lightning, the handles are a bit different, but it's sparking up electricity. "The Nunchucks of Lightning." He said, tossing them to Jay.
"Oh yeah!" Jay exclaimed as he spun around the Nunchucks.
A bit later, Kai revealed the Shurikens of Ice back to their original state. "The Shurikens of Ice." He said as he handed them to Zane.
"Cool." Zane said as he spun the Shurikens.
Kai then held up the Scythe of Quakes, with the handle a bit shorter. "And the Scythe…" Kai stopped himself as he and the others gave solemn looks at the weapon. "The Scythe of Quakes." He muttered, knowing that this was Cole's weapon, and Cole is not here as he turned to Seliel and presented it to her.
"That was Cole's." Seliel said to Kai.
"I think he would've wanted you to have it." Kai told her as he held the Scythe to her.
Seliel frowned for a moment before taking the Scythe, "I'll use it in his honor." She said determinedly.
"Grandfather's Weapons are back." Lydie said with a smile. "They may look a bit different, but they're still the same."
"They are. And the Golden Armor may have had enough gold to reforge the Sword and Shurikens, but there wasn't enough to make the Scythe and the Nunchucks how they were." Kai said with a shrug.
"You've done all you could, Kai. You did great." Skylor said with a smile.
"So, these are the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu?" Demir asked as he and Rose looked at the weapons for the first time. "Impressive."
"Very Elegant." Rose said with a smile.
Just then, they all heard the bell ringing, which put them all on edge. "The perimeter bell." Morro said with a serious look.
"The Darkness." Lydie muttered as they rushed out to the door and they looked down at the mountain of the Monastery.
"It's here." Lloyd said seriously as they saw the Oni army marching their way towards them.
Back at Ninjago City at the NCTV building, Cole gasped as he took a breather and woke up before he saw the tentacles around, which he quickly stood up with a startled yelp as he looked around. "Where the hell am I?" He asked himself before he saw the window he crashed into letting in more tentacles.
"Oh, boy, oh boy." Cole said in fear. "Hey guys? Did you forget something?! It's me, Cole!" He called out, hoping his friends were still there, but no response. "Guys? Hello?" He asked in his commlink before he took it out and saw his com busted. "Oh, great. Now what? Stay calm. Don't panic." He said to himself. "Why panic? I'm all alone, surrounded by creepy black tendrils that are getting closer and closer." He anxiously said as he looked at the tentacles getting closer. "Huh?" He looked behind and saw more as he jumped onto a desk and quickly went up to the ceiling lamp and swung to the door as he quickly closed it to prevent the tentacles from getting through.
"Phew, ah." Cole said in relief as he took out his com. "Okay, now let's see if we can get this working again." He said as he went to a drawer and pulled out a pair of scissors. "Ah-ha!" He exclaimed as he went to a desk and saw that fixing his coms is a bit more complicated than he thought. "Oh come on. I'm not a microtronics guy. Where's Nya or Pixal or Zane or Jay when you need them?" He questioned as he kept fiddling with his com.
"Please work, please work, please work…" Cole muttered as he looked at his comlink as it gave a beep and glowed green. Cole put the scissors down as he went to the front door as he saw The Darkness clouding the streets. "Where is it? Where?" He questioned as he looked around. "I can't see it. I can't see anything." He said helplessly as he looked down in defeat and dropped his comlink as it gave a beep.
Just then Cole heard an engine heading towards him and he gasped as he saw his Driller heading towards the building. "It worked. Whoo-hoo!" Cole cheered as his Driller parked in front of the building. "I can make it." He said with determination before realizing something else. "Yeah right, as soon as you step out there it's gonna freeze you solid." He said to himself. "Quit talking like that! I'm going for it!" He said as he looked at the Driller and then put on his mask as he rushed out the door. "NINJA, GO!" He called as he did Spinjitzu.
But Cole stopped as he then started coughing at The Darkness around him as he limped towards his driller. "I can do that." He said as he kept getting closer to the Driller, falling to the ground as the tentacles got closer to him. Cole brought out his comlink and tapped on the Driller as it glowed green and gave a beep as the hatch opened up and Cole quickly got on and closed it as he took heavy breathes for finally getting out of The Darkness.
"N-Never do that a-again." Cole said with a bit of fear and relief as he started up his Driller and took off through the city as he cheered at the thrill before he saw something ahead. "Whoa!" He exclaimed as he stopped the Driller and saw some Oni in front of him, giving him growls as Cole gave a determined look. "Okay. You're asking for it!" He called as he turned on the drill and charged past the Onis.
Back at the Monastery the Ninja were leading the people up the steps to keep them safe from the Oni as they and The Alpha and The Omega drew closer as the Ninja faced them with brave looks as they ready their Golden Weapons while Lydie, Lloyd, Skylor, Morro, Demir, and Rose ready their powers.
"So begins the end." The Alpha said with his arms up as The Ninja were getting ready to fight.
"Kids!" Misako called out as Lloyd and Lydie saw their mother rushing up towards them.
"Mother, you should be inside." Lloyd said to her.
"I'm not leaving you two." Misako said to them.
"Mom, whatever happens, those people inside need your protection." Lydie said while gesturing to the people rushing into the Monastery. "Would you do that for us?" She asked.
Misako looked at them and the kid she was guiding to the Monastery before she gave her children a hug. "I love you both. Be careful." She said as the Garma-Twins nodded as they watched their mother rush into the Monastery but then stopped by Garmadon. The two made eye contact as Misako held the side of his face, "Be careful," She said softly.
"You will see me again," Garmadon told her as Misako gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before she rushed into the Monastery as Faith then exited the gates with a sword, which surprised them.
"Faith." Jay said in surprise.
"You should be resting, Faith." Morro said to her. "You're still not fully healed yet."
"If the end is coming I will face it on my feet." Faith said determinedly.
"As well, I." Wu said as they turned and saw him coming out with a serious look.
Garmadon saw his brother as he gave a hum. "Hmm. I did not expect to fight alongside you again." He commented to his brother, who walked down the stairs to them.
"Nor I you." Wu said to his brother back. "It seems life has a few surprises left for both of us." He commented as they all looked down and saw the Oni army coming closer. "Close the doors! Quickly!" He called out as the monks closed the Monastery doors.
The Ninja all put on their masks and ready their weapons while Garmadon charged up his powers as the Oni drew closer as they saw The Omega and the Alpha taking the lead as they stopped and faced the Ninja. "The time of endings has come." The Omega declared as the Ninja all stood ready.
"All shall fall to the darkness." The Alpha said as the Oni growled.
"This is it, guys. Pick your targets." Lloyd said seriously.
"I'll take the big one." Garmadon said as he glared at The Alpha.
"And I'll take his little friend." Lydie said, glaring at The Omega.
"They're all yours." Jay said with a smirk.
"All right guys, let's take these mask faced freaks down!" Morro said with determination.
The Omega and Alpha gave a roar as his Oni army charged at them, but Garmadon gave a yell as he jumped down and created a shockwave that knocked some Oni away as Jay flipped over and whacked some away while aiming his Nunchucks at, which made the Onis backed away from him.
Kai clashed weapons with them and used his Sword to keep them back as Faith fought some Oni off, Zane used his powers to freeze one and knock him off the mountain. Garmadon then faced The Alpha and blasted him with his powers only for the Oni leader to block it with his axe as Garmadon lifted him with his powers and tossed him to a couple of Oni.
Demir armored up as he then morphed his arms into swords, which he charged at the Oni while clashing with their weapons while knocking them back. Rose used her bamboo staff and whacked a few Onis over the mountain while using her plant powers to grow some vines while tying them down. Nya used her weapon and knocked away the Oni while blasting back with water blasts while Skylor fought with either one of the powers she powered with the others as she fought off the Oni.
Lydie blasted the Omega, who blocked her powers with his staff as Lydie gave a glare and used her Spinjitzu before the Omega could use his staff as she knocked the Omega away and knocked a few Oni back.
"Seliel! Look out!" Skylor called out as Seliel used the Scythe of Quakes to block a strike from an Oni before Lloyd came in and used Spinjitzu to knock it away.
"Use the Scythe!" Lloyd called as they knocked away a few Oni.
"I'm trying!" Seliel said as she blocked an Oni trying to attack her. "But this thing isn't doing anything!" She yelled as she slammed the Scythe into the ground, expecting it to activate, but nothing happened. "See?! I don't know how this stupid weapon works!" She called before they got surrounded.
"There are too many!" Lloyd called as the Oni came close to them before Wu came in and used his Spinjitzu to knock the Oni away, but then the ground shook as everyone, even the Oni, turned and saw the Driller coming out of the ground, knocking some Oni away as Cole came out of the cockpit.
"Hey guys, couldn't wait for me, huh?" Cole joked with a smirk, much to his friends' joy and relief.
"Cole!" Nya exclaimed in joy.
"You're alive!" Demir cheered.
"How-? Where-?" Lloyd stammered in shock before Jay came in.
"We thought we lost you, you- You big jerk!" Jay exclaimed but in joy.
"You can't get rid of me that easily. And you know, ditching me almost hurt more than that fall did" Cole said with a smile as they shared a laugh before Seliel scowled and shook her head before jumping next to Cole and bashing the Scythe's back end into Cole's leg.
"Ow! Yow-hoo-hoo-hoo!" Cole yelled as he jumped around and held his leg in pain while Seliel gave him a look, "That hurt too!" He said, looking at his girlfriend.
"Oh," Seliel said before frowning at Cole, "Oh, don't you ever scare me like that again!" She told him.
"Don't worry. Wasn't planning on it." Cole said while rubbing his leg before he noticed something that Seliel was holding. "Hey, is that my old Scythe?" He asked with a smile.
"Sure is. And thought you could have it back!" Seliel said with a smile as she tossed the Scythe of Quakes up as Cole quickly put on his mask and caught the Scythe as he used it to slam it down, creating a shockwave that send the Oni back and The Omega hitting a tree as the Ninja all cheered as they began to fight off the Oni and used their Spinjitzu to knock them away.
Garmadon then approached The Alpha and blasted him with his powers only for The Alpha to absorb the blast into his staff. "You're only delaying the inevitable. We cannot be defeated." The Alpha said as he went to Cole's Driller and blasted it back as it fell off from the mountain.
"This grows tiresome!" Garmadon exclaimed as he gave a serious look as he faced the other Oni. "I think it's time we evened things out a bit." He said as he then focused his powers as he gave a roar as purple flames formed around him as he went into his Oni form and summoned a staff similar to The Omega and knocked some Oni away as he faced the leader. "Now that I have my own stick, let's try this again." He said as he slammed down and faced more Oni, knocking and blasting them away.
"They just keep coming!" Jay exclaimed as Garmadon and The Omega faced each other as they glared before Garmadon roared and they started clashing weapons while the Ninja were surrounded by the Oni.
"The Weapons, they are not enough!" Zane said as the Oni continued to approach the Ninja.
"We can't hold out much longer!" Harumi called as the Alpha and Garmadon kept fighting, Garmadon then knocked The Alpha into a tree right beside The Omega
Lydie then stood beside her father as the father and daughter were face to face with The Alpha and The Omega. "You are Oni…" The Alpha started as he whacked Garmadon back. "...but only in form." He said as he walked towards Garmadon. "In your heart, we sense uncertainty and doubt." He said as Garmadon flinched felt uneasy, which surprised Lydie by that before The Alpha knocked him back again, which Lloyd noticed.
"Hey! Not cool!" Lydie shouted as she blasted her powers at the two leaders, but the Omega blocked them with his staff again.
"Part of you longs to understand these pitiful beings, to be one of them!" The Omega said as Garmadon coughed a bit as he looked at The Oni leaders. "Your hopes weaken you." He said before knocking Garmadon back to the gates.
"Dad!" Lydie shouted in concern.
"Father!" Lloyd called as the two Garma-Twins rushed up to him as Garmadon went back to his base form as the Alpha sent a blast at them, which hit Lloyd as he was sent flying with a scream before he hit the gates.
"Lloyd!" Lydie yelled out before she turned around and both Oni leaders blasted her which sent her flying and landed beside Lloyd as the two Garma-Twins gasped for air before more Oni began to climb up to the mountain. "Fall back! Retreat! Get to the Monastery!" She called out to them.
"Copy that!" Nya answered as they all rushed away from the Oni and through the Monastery gates as Kai and Jay quickly closed it as Demir struggled to move the wooden pillar to the gates.
"Cole! Help me out!" Demir called as Cole summoned his Earth Punch and helped Demir place the wood on the Monastery gates, locking it as they backed away as the doors began to bang while Faith, Misako, and Pixal guarded the survivors inside the Monastery.
"That's not gonna last forever." Cole said as he pulled out his Scythe.
"Then it's now or never guys." Lydie said as she powered up her powers.
"We may never get another chance at this." Rose said as she held her bamboo staff.
Cole, Lydie, and Rose's words echoed in Jay's head as he turned to Nya, realizing that this could be the end and he turned to Nya as he took off his mask. "Nya, I have to ask you something important!" He told her.
"What, now?" Nya questioned in disbelief.
"Yes, now." Jay said with a smile as the others turned to them as Nya took off her mask as Jay took a deep breath. "Nya, you make me so happy everyday. When we're not together, I miss you so much that it feels like part of me is missing." He said as he took out the medallion and broke separated the two pieces as he offered the Yang half to Nya. "Will you be my Yang?" He asked.
Nya then gasped at Jay's words as she slowly took the Yang half of the medallion.
"Now?! Really?!" Morro exclaimed in disbelief.
"Seriously, now you're asking?!" Cole questioned as he and Kai got behind Nya.
"We seriously need to talk about your sense of timing, Jay." Kai commented with a brow.
"There might be another time." Jay said with a frown as he stood up to look at Nya, expecting her to answer.
Nya stood silent for a moment before she smiled. "Yes! Of course!" She cheered as she gave Jay a hug. "Yesyesyes!" She repeated as Jay gave a warm smile.
"I taught him how to do that." Kai bragged to Cole and Morro with a wink before the doors banged harder as it was starting to break and the Oni can be heard growling as the Ninja all waited for what came next.
"Uh, as touching as this is, but the gates are starting to give!" Skylor called out.
"And they're brand new too." Morro commented.
"Oh, we're doomed." Harumi said in worry.
Lloyd and Lydie looked at each other before they turned at the first mural of their adventures as they eyed the Golden Weapons and then the Tornado of Creation as they had a thought as more tentacles began to go over the Monastery walls and through the gates.
"Nya, Jay, it's been fun guys." Cole said as he held his Scythe as the Ninja took off their masks.
"It has been an honor." Zane said as he took off his mask.
"Right back at ya," Demir said.
"If this is how we go down then we go down swinging." Seliel declared.
"We stand together and fight as one." Rose said as she held her bamboo staff.
"You guys are the best family I ever had." Harumi said to them.
"Then let's do this." Skylor said.
"Let's go out with a bang." Jay said with a determined look.
"Yeah, let's give them…" Kai started as he kept a firm hold on his sword.
"A Tornado!" Both Lyide and Lloyd exclaimed with a smile.
"Yeah, let's give them a tornado!" Kai said as he was about to rush to the fight until he realized what the Garma-Twins said as they all looked at them. "Wait, what?"
"The Oni are more than a force of Darkness, they're Destruction itself," Lydie explained to them, "So what's the opposite of Destruction? Creation!" She gestured to the mural of their first battle.
"Don't you get it, Creation! The Tornado of Creation!" Lloyd added as more tentacles came in. "It's the one thing that could defeat the Oni! The Power of Creation!" He added as Lydie nodded frantically. "But all of us this time, or it won't work."
"How do you two know?" Jay asked.
"Is that even possible?" Rose wondered.
"Yeah, it was a miracle that it worked the first time." Kai told them.
"Okay, we're guessing, but what do we have to lose?" Lloyd questioned, reminding them of their predicament.
"It's either this, or get destroyed." Lydie said while gesturing to the tentacles.
"They're right, we've got nothing to lose!" Zane said with determination.
"I love crazy ideas. Let's do it!" Kai declared.
"We're one now, Nya." Jay said to Nya with a smile as he held out his hand to her. "Care to join?" He asked as he and Nya held hands as she gave a smile.
"It's a nice plan and all, but Seliel and I don't know Spinjitzu." Skylor told them.
"Just go through the motions, Over the Planks, Dodge the Swords, Here Comes the Dummy." Lydie told her.
Seliel gave a brow while Skylor gave a weirded look. "How's that supposed to mean anything?" Seliel questioned.
"I did it, and I learned Spinjitzu." Harumi told them before looking at the Garma-Twin's. "And I'm willing to give this a shot, to save Ninjago."
"Ah, what the heck. We have nothing to lose." Skylor said as she stepped forward while Seliel shook her head with a sigh as she followed after Seliel. "We've seen them do it many times, so we might get it right."
Lydie and Lloyd then went up to their father. "It has to be all of us." Lloyd told him.
"I am not one of you." Garmadon reminded him with a look.
"No." Lloyd said as he gave a firm look. "But you're as much a part of the history of Ninjago as the rest of us." He said.
"And if what the Alpha and Omega said is true, you are just as part of us as any form." Lydie added with a serious look to their father as the doors were about to break as Garmadon and Lloyd looked at each other before Garmadon turned away and walked off a bit before the Oni busted the doors down as The Omega and his troops came in with the tentacles swarming around them.
"Here goes everything, NINJA, GO!" Cole shouted as he did Spinjitzu.
"NINJA, GO!" The other Ninja and Harumi followed as they did their own Spinjitzu and started to get into formation.
"Oh, I hope this works." Seliel said as she and Skylor did the movements the Ninja told them. "Over the planks…"
"Dodge the swords…" Skylor muttered.
"Here comes the dummy!" Both Seliel and Skylor finished as they did a fully Spinjitzu Tornado, Skylor's is orange with yellow mixed in it while Seliel is indigo mixed with light blue.
Garmadon watches as he looks at the Ninja forming their Spinjitzu in formation as the Oni gets closer before he turns to the mural wall to the painting when he ruled Ninjago City as he saw a tentacle go over Lloyd and Lydie's painting. A feeling inside him made Garmadon feel something he hasn't felt since his resurrection.
Garmadon shook his head before he gave a determined expressions as he then went into his Spinjitzu and all Spinjitzu came together as the Oni got closer, but then the Tornado of Creation then started to form, more powerful and golden then ever as it grew over the Oni, who backed away as they and The Alpha and The Omega was then engulfed in Golden Power when the Tornado of Creation did a big golden flash of creation.
As the bright light faded, a growling was heard, which Lloyd woke up with a gasp as he looked around and saw that he was in some sort of grass field and some floating mountains around in the clouds before he turn and saw something he hasn't seen in a long time, it was the Golden Dragon Lloyd use to summon before he depowered himself as the Golden Dragon gave a growl as Lloyd walked up to it and petted his muzzle, which the Golden Dragon purred as it recognized Lloyd before eating some grass.
"Hello, Lloyd." A voice was heard as Lloyd looked ahead and saw a man with a straw hat. "Do you like my dragon?" He asked as he walked forward.
Lloyd squinted before his eyes widened in realization. "You…" He started before he gave a bow. "You're Grandfather, the First Spinjitzu Master." He said, shocked to see his Grandfather for the first time.
"No, no, please no kneeling, you have done so much for Ninjago." The First Spinjitzu Master said to his grandson as he offered his hand. "If anyone should kneel it should be I." He said as he placed a hand on Lloyd's shoulder before walking off.
"What is this place?" Lloyd asked, looking around the place he was in. "What happened?" He asked his grandfather.
"You faced destruction with dignity and courage, and you responded with creation and love." FSM said as he petted his Golden Dragon. "There is no greater response." He said as he walked off again as Lloyd walked up to the Golden Dragon and petted it as well.
"But… why am I here?" Lloyd asked.
"I brought you here. To say thank you." FSM said as he walked around his dragon. "For all you have done." He said as Lloyd was surprised before he gave a small smile.
"But… But I…" Lloyd stammered as he followed his grandfather.
"Yes?" FSM asked.
"I don't understand." Lloyd said in confusion as he stopped and looked at his grandfather.
"Life is balanced, endings are never really endings, only new beginnings." FSM explained as he circled around his grandson. "And you have given us all a new beginning. The future is what we make of it. And you refuse to let our future end in darkness." He said as Lloyd tried to follow his grandfather as he turned and saw him behind him as some golden petals were blown around them. "Well done, Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon. Well done, my grandson." He said as he turned to his grandson and kneeled down with his straw hat off.
"Thanks but… I really don't understand any of this." Lloyd said as he gestured to the area he was in as his grandfather went up to the Golden Dragon.
"You will soon. If you choose to come with me." FSM said as he got on his dragon.
"Come with you?" Lloyd repeated in surprise. "Where?"
"That is a secret. But you will be happy there." FSM said to him. "Or you can return to your friends and take up your duties as the Ninja of Yang again alongside your sister. And perhaps someday, fulfill a new life as Emperor with your beloved Harumi."
Lloyd was surprised by the offer as he turned away in thought. "And if I go home, will I remember this?" He asked his grandfather as he picked up some petals as they blew away.
"You will think it was a dream." FSM answered. "In time you will forget all about it." He said as he offered his hand to his grandson who gave a small smile as he slowly reached out to his grandfather before he had a thought before a golden light blinded them.
Back in Ninjago, The Darkness from the Oni faded away as the city and all its people were free from The Darkness as they all looked around in confusion from what had happened.
In the First Realm, The Darkness ceased there as well as the other Dragon Hunters and the dragons were freed from The Darkness as well as they looked around in wonder.
At the Monastery, the Ninja were all on the ground from creating the most powerful Tornado of Creation yet, having taken much out of them while on the floor, the Golden Weapons glowed before their glow faded, completely drained of their powers from creating the Tornado of Creation.
The Ninja groaned as they all stood up in slight pain as they regained their bearings as Nya rushed up to Jay. "We're alive!" Jay said as he and Nya shared a big hug with a small laugh. "We're alive!" He cheered in joy.
"We did it?" Demir said in surprise before shaking his head, "I mean we did!" He declared as Rose tackled him in a hug, laughing in joy.
Seliel and Skylor got up as they looked at one another. "Did we just do…" Seliel started off with a wide smile.
"Yes we did! And it felt good!" Skylor called with a smile. "Why didn't I learn Spinjitzu sooner?" She asked herself with a smile.
"Kai!" Cole said as he went up to Kai and helped him up as Zane went up to them.
Morro walked up to Lydie and helped her up as Lydie rubbed her head. "Is everyone okay?" Lydie asked them.
Harumi got up and rubbed her head before looking around and noticing someone was missing. "Wait, where's Lloyd?" She asked in concern.
They all looked around as they saw him under the rubble of the door. "Oh no." Lydie muttered in fear as they rushed up to him as they removed the debris off Lloyd and they moved him out. "Lloyd!"
"Lloyd!" Harumi cried out, rushing up to him, "Lloyd, Lloyd wake up!" She pleaded as she shook him around, trying to wake him up. "Please please please please please." She begged worriedly.
"Is he…" Demir started off.
"Lloyd! Buddy, wake up!" Kai urged.
"H-He's not moving!" Nya said.
"Someone find Wu! Where's Wu!?" Morro urgently called as Wu rushed to him as Wu checked his nephew's pulse.
Harumi put her ear to Lloyd's chest, trying to see if she could hear something. Her eyes then widened with tears and gave a frightened gasp, "His heart's not beating!" She yelled out tearfully.
"Y-You can do something, right? Right?!" Jay urged Wu while he lowered his head.
"There is nothing to be done." Wu said in hopeless as the others all gasped and looked in sadness.
"Brother…" Lydie muttered as she whimpered while covering her eyes while Morro comforted her as Kai placed a comforting hand on Wu as they all lowered their heads in sadness while Garmadon watched as he sighs while backing away, trying to not show his emotions.
While Harumi was pale as a ghost as she looked as she looked at her boyfriend, "No, no," She whimpered as she shakily held Lloyd close as tears went down her eyes. "Lloyd, no, please, don't leave me." She wept, holding Lloyd close to her
They stood silent while mourning the loss of Lloyd as none of them noticed a golden petal blowing onto Lloyd's chest and brushes against Harumi's fingers. Feeling the petal, Harumi opened her eyes and saw the petal, "W-What?" She said softly in confusion.
Just then, Lloyd gasped as he coughed, which surprised the others as they all cheered in relief and hugged each other as Lloyd was alive while Garmadon watched as he gave a unnoticeable smile before frowning as he walked off.
"Lloyd! You're okay!" Harumi cheered in relief as she hugged Lloyd in joy as they helped him up.
"Where am I?" Lloyd asked in confusion.
"Don't you remember?" Nya asked.
"That Tornado of Creation nearly sent you on a one way trip to the Departed Realm." Demir said to him.
"Yeah, you had us worried there for a sec." Kai added.
"But… Grandfather…" Lloyd said as he looked around in wonder. "The First Spinjitzu Master…"
"You must've hit your head pretty hard, buddy." Cole said to him with a small smile.
"You must've been seeing things." Rose added.
"Yeah, let's get you inside." Jay said while they walked up to the Monastery.
But then, Lydie noticed Harumi kneeling on the ground and picked up something, which made Lydie curious as she walked up to her. "What got your eyes, Harumi?" She asked the princess' curiosity.
"Well, before Lloyd woke up, this fell on him." Harumi said while showing Lydie the golden petal, which made her eyes widened as she recognized it. "Why is there a petal here? The Monastery isn't even close to trees." She said in confusion.
Lydie looked at her for a moment before she walked up and took the petal. "Uh, the wind?" She asked before shrugging off. "It doesn't matter. Come on, let's check on Lloyd." She said with a smile as Harumi nodded as they walked off while Lydie looked at the petal in her hand with a smile. "Thank you, grandfather…" She whispered with a smile as she put the petal in her pocket as she followed after the others.
Wu then saw Garmadon leaving the Monastery as he gave his brother a smile while Garmadon's face stayed the same as he just turned around and walked down the steps.
"Goodbye brother." Wu said before turning around to follow his students inside.
Garmadon walked down the stairs. "You know you can stay." A voice spoke up as Garmadon turned and saw Misako standing behind him
"I can't. I have experienced something. Something that I cannot understand." Garmadon said to her as he looked at the gates. "I have to find out what that is, on my own." He said to her as Misako gave a frown.
"You don't have to be alone, Garmadon. I can be there for you," Misako said, walking up to him, placing her hands on his chest, "Let me be there for you,"
"No, this is something I must do on my own." Garmadon told her before he turned back to her. "But, if there's any trouble, I'll be there, and if I need someone to turn to, I know where to find you." He said to her as Misako looked at him in surprise as she gave a small smile as Garmadon gave a small one before kissing her forehead and walking down the stairs of the Monastery as Misako watched him go.
"Goodbye, my love." Misako said with a small frown as she watched Garmadon go into the unknown of Ninjago.
A few days later, the Monastery was clean up with the gates replaced and everyone and the monks huddled together in a celebration as Wu gave a bow to the Ninja and gestured to seven buckets of paint with their color schemes as they dipped their hands on it as each Ninja then walked up to the moral wall and placed their painted hands on it around a yellow circle, to form a new mural with the power of creation.
The Ninja all huddled together with their friends and allies as they all cheered while Firstbourne and Faith flew around the sky to celebrate the victory before returning to the First Realm.
In an undisclosed location, a middle-aged man with an eyepatch and a goatee, wearing a Samurai armor was walking through a hallway and stopped at a door guarded by two Samurai guards, the two guards opened the door and the man entered the room before facing a man sitting on a throne as he bowed to him.
"It's almost done, My Lord." The man said with a bow. "But it needs a power source."
"Then find me that power, so that we can rid the flaws of all worlds." A deep and distorted voice spoke up. "General Ivar, take your men to the Children of Yin and Yang world and bring me the Rift Stone."
"But what if The Ninja get involved, especially Lydie Garmadon?" The man named General Ivar said to his master.
"Then deal with them, like all the other Ninjas you encountered in your mission." The voice said firmly to Ivar. "And as for Lydie Garmadon, when the time is right bring her to me, but for now, use the Stone to send her to another world and separate her from her team."
"But the Rift Stone will swap her with another Ninja." Ivar informed.
"Which will give us enough time to continue our plan! No more excuses! Do you understand?!" The voice yelled out with rage and anger.
"Yes, Lord Ein." Ivar said with his head down with his eyes closed.
"Then get going. And do not fail me." The voice now named Lord Ein ordered as Ivar nodded and walked off as he gave a deep breath. "Soon, it will be in motion. Soon." He said while rubbing his hands together.
The Ninja have now got another enemy to deal with other than the Oni.

And the ending, well, it's gonna be an amazing twist because one of my friends and co-writers, MarvelPheonix123, is gonna make a crossover story that intertwines with my story and his, along with a couple of others, and it's gonna be great.
