Morro heard the whole story from Lloyd's side of perspective and it made him sick to his stomach, but also really confused.
"Morro?" Lloyd looked at him with his mostly green somehow full-of-hope eyes.
"I'm OK, but areyou? Your family betrayed you and you started believing the voices in your head which make you do crazy things but also apparently saved you – that is a lot to take in and you've been living like this for at least six months! How do you still have hope and not gone insane?!" The ghost grabbed its hair out of frustration.
"I realized that I'm free and don't have to be good enough for anyone – I can be me, the real me."
"You mean all those years ago you felt like someone else? How come your head didn't show me those thoughts?"
"Because I thought that the Green ninja was all I could ever be and that saving my world and family were my only priorities, even if I was somewhere… Maybe 15-16 years biologically, but mentally… Probably…11-13 years old. And now I don't have any of those things to worry about – I'm finally free!"
"That is messed up! And that is coming from me!"
"Well…There's no turning back now." He smiled.
"You seriously need some social interaction, because you kind of remind me of a sociopath right now."
"Shouldn't you go find the Preeminent?"
Morro widened his eyes – he had completely forgotten about the embodiment of the Cursed Realm.
"You better hurry… Cousin. That is very weird to say…"
"I know that and I have to go – the Preeminent doesn't like its Ghost Warriors disobeying its orders or being late." He stood up and got into a position to give himself a boost while flying.
"Until next time, Morro"
"…Next time?" The ghost concerningly slowly turned his head to the side of the son of Garmadon, his expression unreadable, but a hint of maliciousness was definitely there.
Morro shook his head and immediately took off to the village he remembered seeing. And there was something that bothered him – a sound of buzzing in his ear, even thought he was flying at at least 60 mph.
"The Conduit is alone…" Drix buzzed to the magical communication spell of his sister.
Nox nodded to Rogue and he charged up his power, as much as his body could hold and with the help of Thunderfang, a huge storm cloud full of lightning appeared above the mountain.
Lloyd looked at the cloud from the outside - it reminded him of an avalanche in the Never Realm, his hand started shaking, but it was unintentional – the Prismatic katana glowed as bright as the stars.
The hybrid raised the katana to the sky and aligned it to the cloud, everything seemed alright, right until the Dragoni's hair started floating and the whole area was charged up with electricity. The biggest ear-piercing and eye-blinding lightning with thunder came from the mountain like a beam of light and the top of the mountain straight up disintegrated. But Lloyd could no longer look at it – his eyes sank in piercing pain and a scream of pain was heard from both sides.
Rogue's eyes that were previously glowing an overbearing lightning white and blue turned pitch black from exhaustion, his throat also started hurting – he had never screamed so loud in his life, or not that he remembered. His arms also never had lightning scars, but they just appeared and disappeared in an instant.
The elemental master of lightning fell nearly unconscious and the others just stood there.
For some reason he felt rage fill his mind, not because the Forbidden Five wouldn't do anything, but because he knew he hurt the blonde, who was younger than he looked.
"How did I know that?" Rogue whispered to himself before falling completely unconscious.
"His power is a lot more… Formidable than I thought…" Thunderfang was lost in his thoughts for a few minutes.
"Well, heisthe master of lightning – one of the main four elements and one thing is for sure… If we lose this kind of an ally, the only way to save ourselves is to get rid of this burden." Nokt replied.
Meanwhile, on the broken down Destiny's Bounty:
"What was that lightning?.." Nya mumbled to herself while being awake and somehow full of weird energy. "Wait…Lightning…"
"Lightning…"
Nya's eyes widened.
"Lightning! Jay is here!" She shouted so loud that everyone woke up instantly. Everyone immediately shot up from forced slumber, still on a floating ship that was swaying on a big edge of a cliff, about to fall off.
"Get up! Everyone! We're about to fall off!"
Wyldfyre screamed out fear – the wake-up call wasn't that bad but waking up on a Cliffside definitely was.
"Run!" Everybody started doing parkour through the crates, pieces of litter and clothes, desperately trying to reach the safe ground and just as they were about to reach the end, something appeared pretty much out of thin air.
"You are not going anywhere…"A weird green guy with a pretty silly basket-looking hat on his head appeared right before them, the clothes having unique patterns and colors like dark green and black.
"What makes you saythat?" Nya was getting already angered by him and readying to launch a water blast at him.
The figure's hands stretched out slowly, like a tree growing branches.
Its hands started glowing but it only touched the front of the ship, somehow still managing to knock off Destiny's Bounty.
"Have a… 'Nice' trip…"
"Oh we will have one alright!" Even Cole was getting fed up and, with the help of Frak's quake power, created a whole other mountain to hold the ship.
"You've just made a mistake, Earth ninja… Plummeting to your death would've made this a lot easier… For everyone."
The Ninja, Arin, Riyu, Wyldfyre, Sora and an injured Ras lined up to fight the now powered up being that blocked their way, especially Nya's to get to Lloyd and Jay, but most importantly - Jay.
