Chapter 8: surprise
After day of fun with her new friends who she got to know better and tour around the capital plus around the palace that jin also notice that there was guard follow them but don't know why. Jin thought that the guard is there because of her new friends being the war heroes and Jin feels like that her new friends are hid something because she don't know about.
That one day when she was walk around the palace that jin overheard someone called Zuko my lord. That make jin more confuse about why a servants or the advisers called him that if he works at palace for the firelord.
Later that day after Jin find out that Zuko is free from some work that he did for the firelord and Jin decide to confront him about what going on after find him in his work office. Zuko know that jin should know what going on and Zuko know that with how the servant or advisers address him.
Zuko gently quietly took her hand and they walk to his chamber so they can talk when they went inside as Zuko close the door behind her. Jin said what going on because i overheard someone called you my lord that confuse me because i thought you work for the firelord.
Zuko said i am so sorry i don't know how to tell you without freak you out plus my friends know about what go on around here because at the time i met back up with you that i was on vacation and try to be a normally person without people recognized me. Jin said calmly i am already freak out and Zuko said in the fire nation that with the moment of the truth is i am the firelord.
Jin was shock that this whole time her friend Zuko is the firelord and the rumors about it is true and why her friends know about it. Jin don't care about if her friend Zuko is ozai's son because Zuko is better than his father.
Zuko said in a shame and awkward it okay that if you don't want to heard from me or stop being my friend. Jin said i still want to be your friend plus i want make sure that there anymore secrets with give him a kiss on the cheek. Jin also said it will take me process this but when we did meet again weeks ago that i wish you had told me that but i understand why you don't tell me.
Zuko then ask her about continue with the friendship between us and Jin said yes i would like this. Then Zuko ask her what you think of my friends and that you are welcome in the group since my friends like you. Jin said i am flattery to be in group of friends and they are interested group that i can relate with two of them being earth kingdom native.
Zuko said are you sure about this because i am still me with all the royal things to jin said yes. Jin said i am sure because i see how much you have change since last time we met at first.
Jin said now it make more sense why the guards follow us and Zuko decide to take her to his favorite place in the garden.
