Angelica, Drew and Charlotte were able to show up sometime after lunch was over.
"Tommy, has Angelica seen you yet since the accident?" Chuckie asked.
"No. I doubt she even cares or heard about it," Tommy answered.
"I called her last night, Tommy. She knows and will show up."
"Why did you call her, Phil?"
"Just checking in to see if she heard about that accident you had, Tommy," Phil answered.
"What was her reaction?" Kimi asked.
"Like she wasn't interested in hearing what happened. She sounded like her parents knew about Tommy and the accident," Phil replied.
"You know how Angelica is. She's never been nice to us," Lil reminded him.
"Were you around Phil when he called Angelica?" Chuckie asked.
"No, but I didn't get to hear about the phone conversation sometime after he had talked with Angelica, but didn't tell me everything. Right, Phillip?"
"Right. Now you got some of it now, Lillian."
The twins didn't want to start an argument, but they always ended up having one.
"I hope Angelica will be careful if she ever touches me. Don't want another accident or I can't go back to school fast enough and see you guys," Tommy said.
"She will pay attention, Tommy, since she knows about it from me."
"Did Angelica tell you what time she was coming over?"
"No. I don't care what time she comes over. I can't keep up with everything she does."
They heard Angelica's voice along with Charlotte and Drew as they slammed the door.
"Does that answer your question?" Phil asked Kimi.
That's when Angelica thanked Stu and headed to the living room and check out Tommy.
"I heard what happened, Tommy."
"Phil told you."
"Yes, he did. You didn't have to call me at home."
"I know, Angelica. I wanted to share with you in case nobody said anything, even if you don't like us very much."
"Mommy and Daddy were telling me about it yesterday. That's when you called, Phil. You could have called me yourself, Tommy."
"I know, Angelica. I guess there wasn't any reason to since you're never nice to us anyway."
Of course Angelica could try being nice to them in the future, but it was up to her instead of them begging to. They aren't dumb babies anymore, and they thought of reminding Angelica that, but there was no reason to.
"Is there anything you want me to do, Tommy?" Angelica asked.
"No, thank you, Angelica. I don't need anything right now."
"What do you want?" she asked.
"Go back to school and see my friends."
"We are your friends, Tommy," Lil replied.
"Not talking about you guys. The other classmates."
"They miss you also, Tommy," Kimi said.
"I didn't know they missed me. Tell them I miss them."
"We will, Tommy. Maybe when the weekend is over," Phil told him.
"But we still get to see you since we're all close by," chuckie said.
Tommy didn't say anything for now, but knew that.
They're all happy they've been friends since they were babies. Look where they are now.
"Just let us know when you need something, Tommy."
"All right, Angelica. You'll know when I do."
Tommy was already starting to get tired of being on the couch since Dee Dee helped him there after they had the doctor's appointment about the broken leg.
Tommy's been hoping and praying ever since he could get back to school sooner rather than later, but all he has to do is take it easy until the doctor says he can go back.
Maybe by then he can start sleeping in his own bed again. Tommy is already feeling his back stiff because of the couch.
Let's see how much longer Tommy will have to stay there.
