Just how many times will I go through this?

Lucas squinted his eyes, checking his surroundings. His currently ill-defined gaze made it difficult to spot his surroundings. Even so, the hushed whispers, giggles, and not-so-still movements gave him a vague thought.

He tensed on his seat, letting out a shaky breath, feeling a poke on his wounded side. A cold metal needle sinking into his flesh caused him to squirm against his cord restraints tying him down.

"Oh, He's awake!" Toga beamed, pulling the needle out. Without another word, she skipped towards the door, casting a gleeful glance at him before slamming it shut. Lucas finally released a voice of excruciating pain.

He shut his eyes, gathered himself, and reopened them, taking a glance at his environment. The furniture in the room was most likely worn out, and the flooring made creaking sounds. The dimly lit room could barely contain his irritation with the fact that his claustrophobia might come into play.

He was tied up to a chair in the corner of the room. His formerly bleeding head from the tackle earlier had a roll of bandages and plasters on it. Possibly Twice was ordered to make sure he doesn't die.

Slowly, he turned his heated gaze to the creaking door. Someone was fondling with the knob from outside, followed by muffled noises.

It finally opened, revealing the six members of the league of villains.

"What kind of shitty treatment is that?" Spinner jerked a thumb at Lucas' half-heartedly bandaged frame as he turned to Twice.

"He wouldn't quit moving when I tried to treat him." Twice defends, shaking his hands in exaggerated gestures.

Spinner raised a brow. "That so? He's got spirit even while unconscious."

Shigaraki rasped, taking a seat, "Well, as long as he doesn't die...yet. Twice."

"On it, boss." Twice moved to Lucas' side, attempting to fix the aid rolls properly. "Now don't move and be nice."

"What do you want from me... You came after me the first time. This is the second time. So, what is it?" Lucas said it loud enough for them to hear.

Is Catherine okay? Has the world been purged of the selfish and greedy? Has the apocalypse ceased?

These questions ran through his mind. Although, If looks could kill, the LOV would've been dead by now.

Spinner had his back leaning against the wall.

Toga and Mr. Compress casually sat on stools.

As for Dabi, he lay callously on the couch. A side eye lazily drifting to the restrained man.

No words were spoken. The leader drifted closer with his seat, staring at him as well. Soon Twice finished, with which Shigaraki patted him for the good work and left for a stool.

"We want you to join our league." Shigaraki said, boring his gaze into Lucas'. Not in the least intimidated by his heated glare.

"Hm. Sounds familiar."

No one responded to Dabi's sarcastic remark.

"Do I have to say it again?" Lucas' face morphed from confusion to frustration. He clenched his jaw, fists tightening. "I don't want to join your League of Villains, or whatever you call it!" Lucas continues yelling, forcing an irritated Dabi to turn on his quirk.

"O-K. Might as well send you to the afterlife." Dabi uttered coldly as blue flames engulfed his left hand.

"No. Let me... handle it." Shigaraki sighed, waving it off. As much as he hates to admit it, he definitely didn't like this at all. Dabi frowned, then carefully lowered his hands, soon the blue flames dispersed.

Ever since Kurogiri got captured by Gran Torino and the rest. It was different not having someone there to warp them to a location. Kurogiri was an important asset to their league.

All for One was defeated by the former number 1 hero, All Might, and was imprisoned in Tartarus. Shigaraki had to lead the rest, which comes with great responsibility and maturity. The alliance with Overhaul fell off after the Shie Hassaikai raid, and the villain was locked up presently in Tartarus. Not before Shigaraki took his arms.

"Let me go, damnit! I'm dying over here, so make it quick." Lucas demanded, before breaking into a fit of coughs. His chair almost tipped over till Shigaraki caught it, his face low yet menacingly close.

"Your quirk... involves opening spatial portals. It can open up portals to different locations or places." Shigaraki started.

Quirk?

"You mean my ability?" Lucas asked.

"Yeah, your quirk...or whatever you call it. It's useful. We need it." Shigaraki continued, scratching his face while edging far too close for his liking.

My ability isn't something I just use for the benefit of others. The fact that they aren't aware it's more than just a teleporting power. It delves into space-time and dimension travel. But they are too stubborn. It's just like in my world...all over again.

Of course, this wasn't his home. This isn't his world. He was caught up in the moment with a group after him in his dimension. Yet, here he was with another group after him and his spatial ability.

Spinner felt something was off about this guy. He needed to voice it out, but it could lead to something else. However, he hoped the rest could catch on about this air around the dimension traveler.

The rest of the league sat in silence. All except Toga, who was adoring her precious knives. Spinner couldn't help but wonder sometimes if he was the only sane one in the league.

"So...what will it be?" Shigaraki stood looking down at the tied man. Lucas remained silent. He didn't bother to speak. It got everyone's attention on how the injured man was cursing them before. Now, He barely uttered a word.

Before anything else could happen, a bright portal opened beneath Lucas, and he vanished through it. The rest looked wide-eyed at what took place. They had lost him again. Just like what happened the first time.

Dabi groaned, "Again?"

Spinner whipped his head at the window on hearing a heavy thud outside.

"He's outside!" Spinner informed, grabbing his typical knife-knife sword.

The ropes once holding him down along with the chair snapped on impact with the earth, bruising his already injured side. Lucas muffled his anguish, forcing himself back on his feet. Without looking back, he sprinted desperately, ignoring the ache threatening his frame. A knife whistled past him, earning a cut on his ankle, he choked, falling on all fours. Looking over his shoulder, Toga wielded a few extra knives, with Twice not far behind her, instantly cloning himself.

Get up!

Spinner and Mr. Compress were already in front. He rolled to the side as Spinner's sword came down with a harsh impact and took cover in the bushes.

I've got to lose them somehow. Opening another portal should be my last chance. After that, I'll be drained for a while, I must concentrate. He speculated, picking up his pace. The moon offered to help him tonight with illuminating his path in the prickly bushes. The bushes won't lend help for long, most of their leaves and flowers gone.

Arriving out in the open gave him shaky feet as never before. He stood near a cliff with the ledge unstable. Any wrong moves and he's a goner.

Focus. Find my dimension.

Lucas shut his eyes firmly, beginning to concentrate with his hand. Beads of sweat ran down his temple on hearing Twice call out.

"He's over here! No, he's not..." Twice and his duplicates rushed over, attempting to jump him. Lucas weaved back, biting his tongue in the process to suppress his cry. A chain reaction set off between Twice's duplicates falling over the other ledge. A scorch of heat sent him aside with burns on his arms and chest, barely dodging it in time.

"Stay still," Dabi said lazily, sending blue flames at the dimension traveler.

"I need to concentrate." Lucas affirmed. "But I can't with these guys in the way." He continued once another one of Toga's knives grazed past his legs. No warning came, backpedaling to his heel at the ledge of the cliff, and the ground failed, disappearing underneath him.

No... No... Not yet. Why does it have to be the selfish ones that get everything? Why can't karma favor me? Why does it end in loose ties with my death being the only option?

He opened his eyes. The villain stared down from the cliff as he plummeted. The corner of his lips rose into a small, sad smile.

I never said goodbye to Catherine. I guess this is my end

Lucas lifted his hands, allowing them to flail about in the air. Slowly, he felt his eyelids close, succumbing to darkness.
