With the chaos in McKinlay, it didn't take long for word of it to reach the group back at Gateway's courtesy of a short lived phonecall to Bridge. "Damn, we gotta get to McKinlay now before those animals full on destroy the place!" Grumbled Bridge grimly as Gateway began to sign to the man.

"Gateway will 'port us there." He added seconds later as Sheila looked on worriedly as the Joe team readied themselves.

"I'm coming too." Declared Eden as his mentor opened up a portal for the others aside from Sheila to go through thanks to her non combatant status.

Any protests on Bridge's lips died quickly thanks to Gateway giving his approval of the idea, though it did make the former SHIELD man frown. And he wasn't the only one as Spirit was as well. "You stay close to me, got it?" The African American told the teenager.

"You got it, man."

"While I admittedly don't like the idea, we have little time to waste, YO JOE!" Yelled Spirit and the group minus Gateway and Shiela went through it and arrived in the chaos of McKinlay.

Torch would be the first to spot the new arrivals and groaned a loud. "Aww cripes, not the Joes!"

"I'm afraid so, Torch! Now, stand down before we have to take you down!" Spirit told him with authority in his voice.

The Dreadnok scoffed and aimed his flamethrower at the group, forcing them to scatter as he used it on them. "Where's Pyro when ya need him!?" Quipped Lance somewhat sarcastically as Torch shouted out insults.

Sounds of gunfire erupted and Spirit, Skymate, and Bridge returned fire, forcing Ripper and two of Reeve's 'friends' to duck for cover. The two 'friends' wore dark yellow head to toe outfits and like Ripper, were quite armed. "You can try and take us, but you'll fail!" Declared Reeve from nearby.

Spirit quickly ordered for Xi to turn invisible to see what he could do and was alarmed when a grenade went near Lance after he started using his powers to try and cause trouble for the bad guys. Forcing the young Mutant to haul ass and to end up next to his foster father courtesy of Eden's teleportation powers. "Dude, I owe you!"

"We both owe you." Spirit added gratefully.

Eden just smiled. "You two owe me nothing."

"Spirit! Xi's trashed Torch's flamethrower!" Informed Skymate helpfully.

Though the Dreadnok wasn't going to let that deter him any as he started to try and fight the former Cobra experiment. Granted, he started to curse loudly when Xi turned invisible and chose to make quick work of the 4 yellow clad men. Making it so that it was only the two Dreadnoks and Reeve that were left. Bridge shot at Reeve as the others quickly took down the two Dreadnoks much to their dismay and despite his attempts to get away, Reeve found himself failing courtesy of Eden's teleportation powers bringing him right back to the group. Complete with him getting speared by Lance as he came out of the portal and knocking him out with a groan. "Well, I wasn't expectin' that to be so easy, mates!" Laughed Skymate and Bridge rolled his eyes.

"More like we got lucky." Muttered the man before he, Spirit, and Skymate secured the three troublemakers as several planes appeared out of several portals and began to clear out the fires caused by the three trouble makers.

"Hey, don't look at me, musta been Gateway who did that." Eden said as the others looked at him.

"Say, think I could join the Misfits?" Wondered the Australian teenager curiously.

"I'm down for that." Lance told him and Xi nodded in agreement. Both knowing it'd certainly irk the X-Men whenever they eventually found out! Not that either necessarily cared of course!

Causing Eden to smile happily at that and hoped Gateway would actually let him!

Author's Notes: Also, near as I can tell, Eden Fesi's still never been Evo-Tized by anyone so I thought it'd be a fun idea to do with him.
