Chapter 27

F VS. H

Disclaimer: I thought it'd be fun to do a chapter that has the Fabulously Fab crew encounter the Hellions. And since I don't think L1 ever established where exactly Foxfire and his dad live in Michigan, I'm having a little fun with the location. Foxfire, Paul, and Red Dragon belong to L1.

Lansing, Michigan

It was around evening when one Jake 'Red Dragon' Wildfire and his girlfriend Jennifer 'She-Hulk' Walters made their return after one of their dates to the Mansion that belongs to the Fox family and where the self-proclaimed Fabulously Fab group based themselves out of when they weren't out and about in the Country and on occasion outside of it. Granted, the group easily could've lived in their own place thanks to some investments of Clara's but due to some old family connections between herself and the Fox family, Jason Fox's father had insisted they stay there. And while Jake and Jennifer were in fairly good spirits, it wasn't meant to last sadly when he caught sight of one Emma Frost coming out of one of the homes across from the Fox Mansion. "YOU!" Roared out an enraged Jake as he flew at Emma while ignoring Jennifer's calls to him.

For because of Emma and the Hellfire Club, Jake and his younger brother Kyle had been forced to go on the run several years ago in order to protect their family from the wrath of the Club due to their refusal to join them. Which is how Clara had ended up coming across the two boys to begin with. But Jake's path to Emma became interrupted thanks in part to Jetstream cutting him off and taking him into the air. "Good to know he hasn't forgotten about me." Quipped Emma to herself while Jason Fox, Paul and Clara Starr came rushing over to the scene thanks to Jennifer texting Clara.

"Hard to believe one could forget a babe like you." Jason told her with a wiggle of his eyebrows and Emma rolled her eyes at him.

"Its a good thing we admitted Kyle to that school in Cleveland or he'd be out here too!" Paul declared dead seriously as because if Jake was angry where Emma and the Hellfire Club were concerned, Kyle was perhaps downright enraged where they were concerned.

Of course, these days, Kyle was torn between being unhappy and happy with Jake as it is after he and Clara decided together to enroll him into the Cleveland school to give him a better sense of stability and could be around others his own age. A screaming Jetstream crashed to the ground with parts of his outfit burning and Jake soon landed seconds later with smoke billowing out of his mouth. "I don't know why you're here, Frost, but if you don't want to be six feet under you'd better get outta here!" Warned the angry Jake.

"A girl can't visit an old friend?" Smoothly asked Emma, showing no fear where the boy in front of her was concerned.

"Not when it comes to manipulative witches like you!" Clara spoke before Jason could as she knew he no doubt would have been perverse in his own response!

Transforming into his Dragon form, Jake took several steps forward until he found himself being flung sideways down the road after getting punched in the face. "Good thing I can fly as fast as I can, Ms. Frost." Declared Monet as she hovered in the air.

"Indeed. Now keep them distracted whilst I and Jetstream make our leave."

"You got it, Ms. Frost!"

"I'll show you distracted!" Declared Jennifer as she transformed and tore up her clothing in the process.

"Well, you might be a challenge." Monet muttered and the two began to duke it out as Emma's driver helped get Jetstream into the vehicle and then took off while Clara and Paul were checking on Jake while Jason pulled a crazy stunt and jumped on to the vehicle.

"Aww, come on! We were just getting to know one another!" Yelled out the boy as he ignited his hands to start trouble for the ride but that was proving to be far from easy thanks to all the fast swerving about it was doing!

"FROST!" Came the angry bellow of a still transformed Jake as he flew towards the speeding vehicle that finally managed to fling Jason from it.

Forcing Jake to stop what he was doing to keep the other boy from being too badly hurt and letting out an angry roar once he realized the vehicle was no where in sight. Of course, it didn't help that Monet would come flying through and smack him on the side of the head before taking off. "HEY! YOU FORGOT YOUR MAIL!" Yelled out Jennifer as she chucked a mailbox, complete with the pole it'd been attached too, at Monet as she flew and missed because of it.

"Crud." Muttered the Gammazon unhappily.

Now while Jake wasn't quite able to get revenge on Frost for what she and hers had forced him and his brother into doing, the plus side is that the family she'd been visiting had decided that moving to Cleveland for their Daughter's sake was the safest option. I swear I'll get her one day!

Author's Notes: I actually had something much different in mind that would've taken inspiration from Letterkenny, only without the Wagyu conversation in between fight scenes. But ultimately that didn't work out here. The whole thing between the two groups would've also included Jennifer flicking a small rock at Empath and knocking him out when he tried to manipulate her into de-Hulking from the sidelines.
