Cleveland School

Two weeks later would see not only the Xavier Institute but the Joes and the Misfits teams receive an invitation to the Cleveland School for Humans and Mutants as part of a tour. Something that was done as a means of putting the past aside between the Jammers and Xavier. Though Althea wasn't too thrilled to be around Vincent considering how he acts towards her despite being told she had no interest in him. "You guys are also underground!?" Shane Shooter asked in surprise as the train they'd boarded began to go under.
Shane was the newest member of the original Misfits team following a certain mission in California and would've preferred to be with the West Coast team but part of his terms for freedom was that he wasn't allowed to be in California for a year. Unless of course it involved a major problem that needed all the help it could get. He was at least thankful for the fact Jubilee was talking to him, even if Wolverine was giving him the stink eye the entire time! "Something like that." Rictor told him with a smirk.
Wishing that Guido was there but the big guy had chosen to join the X-Factor crew in order to keep an eye on them in case they decided to try something fishy. "Man… I still can't believe what all we missed while Betsy and I were out in England aside from that whole Shadow King thing." Lance said as he was filled in on everything by Spyder and Jamie.
Him and Betsy having only recently gotten back from their trip an hour before everyone had come to Cleveland. He was also pointedly ignoring not only Kitty but Jean as well since the sight of her being around again wasn't exactly something he was happy to see. "Too right, Luv." Murmured Betsy.
"Hey, is that a portal!?" Asked Althea in shock as the train came ever closer to it.
"That it is, kid. A little something put together with my powers, some Science, and some Magic." Lila told her as they went through the portal and out the other side.
"Welcome to the second home of the Cleveland School, located in the Edogreth System some light years from the Sol System!" Announced Alison over the intercom.
Shocking everyone not in the know considerably! "Oh my Stars and Garters!" Breathed out Hank in shock as he and the others took in everything they saw on the Alien planet.
"What is shown back on Earth is primarily our first school but geared more towards Mutants and Humans integrating but here on Mimir is where we take things a step further by adding various Alien races to the mix. So named in honor of the Norse God himself thanks to Odin gifting us the name as the King saw the value in our work." Continued Alison over the intercom as the train sped towards a massive complex.
"Not only do Humans and Mutants learn at our school, but so do any and all Alien races that are interested. Non-Disclosure Agreements and some subtle Magic on Odin's part ensures that the true secret of our School can not be revealed and that one can only reach our School if their intention is pure or truly in need of help. And while we do not rely on technology to find new recruits in the state of Ohio, we do have someone with the capability of sensing other Mutants through out the state."
"Which is why when those morons got ahold of me in order to get information on the place awhile back, there was no way in Hell it was gonna happen." Threw in John Proudstar with a smirk towards the gobsmacked group.
Once docked in the station of the complex, everyone disembarked and one of the screens in the station was playing a news broadcast. "In Intergalactic News, the Rock N' Roll Messiah himself, Kid 'Rock N' Roll' Razor has announced that after years away from his home planet of Earth, he has decided to finally return home in order to put some affairs in order. When asked why he had decided on this, he had this to say."
"Yeah, I've decided that now's the time to finally go back to the old homestead so I can finally kick the ass of that hag Selene! I've been out here trainin' and bringin' the word of Rock to the masses and I think now's the time to finally get that rematch with the bitch! And no way in Hell am I gonna come back quietly! Nah! Its time for the world to know that they aren't alone in the Universe! WHOO!"
Several groans could be heard as a number of individuals watched this news segment. "Like… He looks like a reject from the old days of Rock N' Roll!" Kitty said with a frown on her face.
Not all that approving of the figure's choice of attire! "Kid Razor is set to return to Earth within the month on board 'Razor Force One'. Which as all viewers know, is his personal mode of transportation through the Universe."
A video clip of the Rocker's ship was seen and it was rather huge. "Wow, that dude's ride looks like a nonstop party!" Paul Starr said in impressed awe and gained a few agreements.
"That nutcase is gonna cause so many problems when he shows up." Moaned Lila.
"Agreed, I think it would be best to ensure he can't go through with this plan." Xavier said with a heavy frown on his face.
A four armed teal skinned female nearby snorted at that. "Good luck with that, when that Human sets his mind on something, nothing can stop him. Not even Galactus wants anything to do with the loudmouth!"
"He is a fool to try and go against Selene! She will kill him for sure!" Stated Amara with utter certainty where that nightmare of her Country's concerned!
Even hugging herself at the thought of that… Woman, prompting Tabitha to hug her in concern. "At any rate, I have GOT to say that this is still the second thing to blow my mind this century!" Ace declared as the big group moved onwards with the tour.
Sure, he actually knew that Aliens exist thanks to the stories of the First Line's various adventures, but this place existing? It was freaking wild, man! "What was the first thing?" Wondered Jamie curiously.
"That Ma and I aren't all that alone in the world after Mutants were revealed." He told the kid somewhat emotionally.
Never having a clue for the longest time about Victor Creed as Clara did NOT wanting him knowing of that sadistic madman. At least until recently anyway as after her encounter with Wolverine, she had felt it was time to tell not only him but Paul and Craig as well about their family history in more detail. Sometime after the tour ended and everyone went to mingle and the adults prayed that no insanity would occur, Xavier sat with Alison in her office. "I must admit it does me good to see such a place like this in existence. And that I clearly still have much work to do as Mr. Starr pointed out to me recently."
"And it would serve as a fall back in case things get too bad back on Earth for Mutants." She added while choosing not to address the second portion of his words.
Causing him to nod in agreement. "Hopefully that will not be the case with our efforts."
As those two talked, a grim faced Lance made his way to where he'd last seen Lila and thankfully she was still there while Everett himself was off elsewhere considering a transfer to the Cleveland School. "Hey, uhh… Might be a weird question but do you know of any planets I could freely use my powers on?"
"I may, but why do you want to know?"
"Because, I was shown a vision by my… Spirit Guide, that the next time my body has an attack on it from within, I'll cause some major damage on Earth without meaning too. And that attack? Is going to happen really soon." He told her grimly.
Causing Lila's eyes to widen in shocked horror and she wasn't the only one feeling that way either. "Lets get to looking then. And you can tell me more about all this while we do so."
Lance felt a sense of relief sweep through him as the two of them left to go find a planet suitable for what he needed.
Author's Notes: How are folks enjoying the changes so far in this story? And that last bit with Lance, yikes! As for Kid Razor, same notes as before when I got to thinking about how I could introduce him, I came up with the idea of him being out in Space after some nasty encounters with Selene prior to that. Plus, the idea of him being out there and being himself is just too good of an idea to pass up on! While doing this re-write for this chapter I was starting to consider adding in Emma and the Hellions but due to Jake and Kyle being around I didn't think that was a good idea to do.
