Chapter 83
Rockin' In
The Weather
Disclaimer: Originally, this was going to be two separate ideas for this story but then I got to thinking about it and thought it would be perfect to fit both into one thing. Kid Razor of course belongs to L1.
New York
For the past few hours, the weather in New York was steadily growing worse and considering it just started without warning given the Forecasts had talked about good weather before hand, it was quickly determined it was one not done by Nature Herself. And Storm, seeing herself how things were getting, had gone out to try and see what she could do to control the weather to keep it from being any more of a problem. Though given the insane strength of the weather, doing what she could was proving difficult on her. "By the Goddess, this unnatural weather must be stopped but I fear I can't hold out for much longer!" She cried out as sweat poured down her face as she used her powers on the wild weather while at the same time, trying not to lose control in fear of making things worse.
But faintly, she could hear her Students cheering for her, chief among them the Cheerleaders of the N'Dare Academy and her beloved Yukio. And because of their faith in her, Storm was finding herself growing stronger much to her surprise and happiness. Not even noticing a glow was surrounding her or that others had joined in on the cheering that had been started by her Students. "Their faith in me gives me faith in myself! I can protect New York from this mad weather as best I can thanks to it!"
Mindless of the fact she was gaining some unwanted attention on her thanks to the news broadcast of what she was doing and this would become rapidly apparent once the threat was over with courtesy of a noticeable explosion elsewhere in the city. One that signified the end of the mad weather and allowing for Storm to breathe a sigh of relief as things returned to normal and she floated down to join with her Students, the staff, and Yukio. "I wouldn't celebrate just yet, dears." Purred a voice seconds later.
One that made Storm's eyes widen as she turned around and saw the Immortal Mutant known as Selene with dark smoke fading away from her. "You!? Begone from here!"
Selene smiled darkly at her and with surprising speed, grabbed Storm by her neck. "I recognized the glow that was coming from you up there, Weather Witch. You've Divinity within you and I will have it for myself!" Declared the dark haired woman.
She wouldn't need to drain someone else after this for a long while once she had the Weather Witch's Lifeforce and Divinity! She'd even cruelly laugh when there was attempts made to stop what she was doing. "Hah! After all my centuries of living, your little attempts are nothing more than a breeze on my skin during a pleasant day perfect for a walk!"
In Cleveland, Ohio
One Kid Razor could be seen smirking thanks to seeing the National Broadcast of what was happening in New York. "Well, that bitch finally made the mistake of being out in the open! Oh how the Kid of Rock has been waiting for this moment for years! Time to make a trip!" He declared eagerly and pulling out a strange Alien device he had on him, he quickly made use of it and disappeared.
Back In New York
As Selene gloated and drained Storm's Life and Divinity from her, she suddenly found herself flying with a scream. "You might be able to easily fend them off like they were nothing, but you sure couldn't against the Kid of Rock, you ugly #*#(!" Sneered Kid Razor after appearing in New York courtesy of the Alien Device and quickly used an attack on her.
Allowing for Yukio and the others to pull a weakened and aged Storm to safety as Selene recovered and glared hatefully in Razor's direction. "You… You little bastard!"
"The Kid of Rock's parents were married when they had him actually." Cheekily replied the Ultimate Rockstar.
"And its time you joined them in Death and then I'll have the Power of Rock for myself as is meant to be!" Sneered Selene and launched a fireball at Razor who easily dodged it and sent a blast of his own back at her from his Guitar.
"Nothin's meant to be where you're concerned, you old hag!"
Selene sneered at him and the two continued to fight and causing some destruction as they did so and prompting one of the N'Dare Students to use their Shield powers to protect Ms. Munroe and the others as best he could thanks to several of those attacks having gone their way. "I don't know how much longer I can hold this with their crazy fight happening!"
Bad enough he wasn't able to help protect anyone else in the area much to his dislike! But then something unexpected and worrisome happened when Selene managed to snag Razor's Guitar from him and shouted in victory over it while he was on one knee a short distance away. "The Guitar and its Power is finally mine!" She laughed in dark delight.
Her delight would turn to confusion though when Razor started to smirk. "ALDO NOVA EXPLOSION, BITCH!" Roared the Ultimate Rockstar and the Guitar glowed brightly before exploding.
Causing her to scream in agony due to the explosion brought on by the unexpected attack that would send her flying into a nearby light post and hit the ground with an audible smack. Still smirking, Razor went up to her and used his boot to kick her on to her back and nodded in satisfaction as her hand was missing, in addition to chunks of her upper body and face being missing. Making for one ugly and horrifying sight in the process. "You… Bassstard…!" Wheezed out the Immortal Witch hatefully and painfully.
But all Razor did was contiue to smirk as he stared down at her. "The thing is, while the Kid of Rock was out in Space all those years after what you did to him and his family, the Kid of Rock learned how to harness the Power of Rock within his body instead of keeping it in the Guitar since that would've been a stupid thing to keep lettin' be a thing. Especially where your melted ass is concerned."
Selene's hatred for Razor increased and try as she might to express it, the pain she was in was proving to be a hindrance to it since she couldn't think straight all that well at the moment. "And now, you will pay the price for your transgressions against the People of Midgard, Black Witch." Intoned a female voice.
One that belonged to Freyja of the Norse Pantheon as Razor once again nodded in satisfaction. "Yeah, the Kid of Rock reached out to her and a few others awhile back and asked for their help where you're concerned in the event the Kid of Rock ever got the drop on you. And the Kid of Rock knows what you and others are thinkin', but even he can put aside his ego when the need arises."
"Agreed." Came the voice of Agatha Harkness as she appeared and with her came Benny Barumpbump, Wanda Maximoff, Illyana Rasputin, Amanda Sefton, and Jericho 'Brother Voodoo' Drumm.
The group, in addition to Freyja, circled around Selene as Razor stepped back, eager to see what they were gonna do to the Bitch who'd taken his parents from him. As one, the group began to speak as Magic stirred in the air. "We strip you of your Immortality, Selene, We strip you of your Magic, we strip you of the knowledge you have learned over the Centuries, and never again will Magic heed your whims. We strip you of your connection to your Mutant Powers and status as an External, and we strip you of your youth and see out your remaining time in old age that you've long avoided while taking the Life of others. So mote it be!"
Selene screamed in utter horror as this was done to her as many watched on. "I'll… I'll get it… Back! Eve-Even takes a, a thousand years!"
"You won't even have that long." Freyja told her and waved a hand, which made Selene vanish and re-appear in a SHIELD holding facility.
Freyja then turned her attention towards Storm and sent off a golden string of energy towards the Woman that she'd taken from Selene. "What was lost, is restored, Ororo Of The Storm. And I can not speak for others, but I say I do look forward to properly welcoming you among our ranks in the Pantheons when the time comes."
The energy flowed into Storm and she glowed brightly and when it faded, she had her youth again much to the shock of those with her. Though surprisingly, she'd even been de-aged by twenty years as something of a side effect! "Oh, by the Goddess!" Breathed out Storm as she looked towards the woman in thanks.
Who only smiled and nodded in return before focusing her attention back on Razor. "The Boon you've requested has been fulfilled, Lord of Rock, may you find some Peace now with her defeat." She told him.
"I, I think my Parents, myself, and Ronnie can now." Razor replied dead seriously and thankfully while uncharacteristically not referring to himself in the third person.
As what happened to Selene had been something he'd been striving for for a long time and it finally happened. Even if originally he'd been vowing to kill her. "Oh yeah! That is definitely true!" Declared Ronnie Rocker as he appeared.
Razor smiled sadly at him. "Thanks, for everything."
"It was my absolute pleasure, Kid, I'm gonna miss you too." Ronnie replied with a sad smile of his own as Freyja and the others disappeared to where they'd all been previously.
The long time partners shared a hug of sorts before Ronnie went off to his final resting place and Razor let out a sigh before he too made his leave back for Cleveland. It'd be a little while later when everyone in New York would learn that it'd been Doctor Octopus who'd been behind the crazy weather chaos until Spider-Man had stopped him and destroyed the Weather Machine he'd created. Prompting Storm to later on think heavily about asking him to teach at the N'Dare Academy while also trying not to think too much on what had been said to her in regards to one day joining the Pantheons of Gods and Goddesses. And even ending up in an argument with Xavier over it due to his belief that she's not a Goddess, just a very powerful Mutant. Ultimately prompting her to kick him out of the N'Dare Academy for his short sightedness and his blatant attempt at trying to not only recruit her into his ranks again but some of her Students as well.
Author's Notes: I've always wanted to see some resolution for Razor/Rocker where Selene was concerned and when I thought this up, I thought it was the ideal way to do that. Hope folks enjoyed! Up next will be a time skip.
