Tw: fainting, mentions of a gun (just to be safe), and freak-out (NOT CRASH-OUT)

Suitcase couldn't sleep. She tried all she could, but she kept tossing and turning in her bed. When she opened her eyes, she stared at the ceiling of her lonely room and looked at the digital clock on her bedside table. It was 12:04. Has she been awake for 2 hours? She decided to hang out in the lobby until she was finally tired. She peeks outside the window and notices the old contestant grounds. It should've been pitch black, but the fireflies with their soft glow over the field with the bright, full moon on this warm, summer night made it glow. Suddenly, she hears commotion in the wall.

"...4S…" The voice behind the wall said, being the only thing Suitcase could comprehend rather than muffled voices. She is shocked to hear that name being said behind the wall. From what she can tell, it's Fan and Test Tube next door. Suitcase couldn't help but eavesdrop on their conversation. She put her ear against the wall and started listening.

"...do you have his vitals?" Fan says …or Test Tube? Suitcase couldn't decipher that voice but guessed it was Fan.

"Yeah, I think so. He's strong even though we left him in the room," Test Tube replied. Stifled beeps and clicks can be heard from either a tablet or computer, but Suitcase couldn't put that together. Steps can be heard pacing across the room. Also, who is 'he'? Suitcase needed to know, but surely it couldn't be-

"Should we reveal him tomorrow to Mephone4 or the day after?" Fan asks impatiently.

"Hm, maybe the day after. We can't let him out after we constructed him yesterday, Fan. What if he glitches?" Test Tube, definitely saying something to Fan. Glitching? Do they mean…? wait-

"Correct," Fan replied. "But didn't you say Mephone missed 4S?"

"You're not wrong," Test Tube responds. "But we have to wait and see if his vitals are stable or not."

Suitcase, shocked at this discovery, fell backward and made a small thud as she landed on her back. The duo next door didn't notice and continued their conversation. She was putting the pieces together. MePhone4S was alive?! I thought he was in MePhone… Or did they- never mind. It's probably a surprise for MePhone. I'll try not to think about it. Plus, there's too much on my mind right now, and I should probably go to sleep. Wait, I'm not sleepy. Too much was going on in Suitcase's mind, so she decided to take a night walk outside instead of staying in the lobby. She opened her quarter door gently, attempting to not wake or notify anyone that she was sneaking out. She peeks through the door to the empty hallway filled with more doors. The muted conversation was still going on, but Suitcase wanted to tune that out after all, she could just be sleep-deprived. As she walked, she heard what happened inside of the rooms she passed. She could hear Tissues sneezing the life out of him, even in his sleep, and Yin-Yang having an argument about Water or Dr. Fizz, for the millionth time. It's interesting that they still argue about that in their sleep, Suitcase thought. She passed right by Mephone's door but just stayed outside of it for a little before moving on down the hallway.

When Suitcase reached the lobby, every light was turned off. Seems like OJ is FINALLY asleep. He's always tending the hotel late and never gets any sleep but seems like he decided to crash. She goes to the double doors, opening them slightly to not alert anyone, and goes outside to take a relaxing evening stroll.

Suitcase had been walking for about an hour outside, thinking about the conversation with MePhone at the cliff and Test Tube and Fan's conversation that she probably shouldn't have budged into, as it was probably a private conversation. She couldn't get those out of her head and tried to process all of what happened in that one short day. Suddenly, she sees the haunted mansion that was used for one of the challenges in Inanimate Insanity when she was playing, as well as being used as a purgatory for the deceased contestants MePhone couldn't bring back to life. She saw Knife on the roof of the house and decided to greet him.

When Suitcase gets on the roof, Knife is staring out into the stars, not knowing about Suitcase's presence. I guess most of us have a lot on our minds. Suitcase sits beside Knife and looks at the stars with him. They go silent for a moment as they grasp the view they have from the roof.

"The stars are beautiful around this time, right?" Suitcase asks Knife, which startles him out of his state of silence.

"Suitcase, you scared me! I didn't even know you were here at all!" Knife yells, as he is still startled by her presence. He floats up a little with his newly found ghost tail.

"Heh, oops, sorry," Suitcase replies, smiling at Knife, even chuckling a little. Knife rolled his eyes playfully as they both stayed silent for a few seconds.

"Too much on your mind?" Suitcase asks while Knife looks at his non-solid body as well as the roof of the mansion. He floats back down to Suitcase's height and sits down again ghost-style.

"Yeah, maybe," Knife sighs with an undecided face. He looked a little sad, but he tried to look tough, as he usually does.

"So… what's happening in the afterlife for you?" Suitcase asked Knife.

"Eh, not really much," Knife replied. "Just the usual. Aside from the fun day we had on the beach today, I don't go to sleep or even wake up, and we can kind of, sort of eat. I… don't understand it. Also somehow we have phones in the afterlife? I don't know how, but we just do I guess."

"Huh... So that's the day in the life of a ghost?" Suitcase asks Knife. Knife nods as he crosses his arms.

"Well, after the 'fun day on the beach' with you and the others, I went back to the hotel to find out that Mephone wasn't there," Suitcase informs Knife. "So Test Tube and I-"

"Wait, you're friends with Test Tube now?" Knife blurts, interrupting her sentence. He had nothing against her of course but was curious about their relationship.

"No, she just volunteered to come to help me find MePhone," Suitcase replied, Knife nodding in response, a bit apologetic for interrupting. "Anyways, we looked everywhere for him; the Contestant Grounds, network of caves, and much more, but we couldn't find him until we heard a radio leading us to a cliff with a mesmerizing view of the sunset and Mephone4."

"Did you ask him why he was there?" Knife asks as he gets some water from the kitchen inside, fast enough for Suitcase to swiftly respond.

"Well… he said that he missed Mephone4S," Suitcase replied in a somber tone.

Knife, in disbelief, comically spits out his water while sipping. "MEPHONE4S?!" Knife yells, startling Suitcase. Normally he isn't jumpy, but he was flabbergasted trying to process Suitcase's statement. "I mean, I understand that, he obviously would, but why? It's already been years since he saw him and frankly, before 4S saved 4's life, they didn't have a good past. Wait, did he say anything about MePad too?"

"He said that he was the only Meeple product still technically alive (being inside MePhone4) other than 3GS and the other MePhones, but the others didn't count. He also thinks of them as family." Suitcase elaborates.

"Wow. I don't think I realized that even when I was with 4S for that short time in MePhone. I wonder if he still remembers me and if he was here…" He tells Suitcase with his voice trailing off but shows his tail with a kind of frown.

"Yeah. Speaking of that, earlier when I got out of bed to go to the lobby, I may have uh, peered into Fan and Test Tube's conversation and I kind of made a discovery. Um… so Mephone4S is… alive…? Or Test Tube and Fan are trying to bring him back," Suitcase says slowly to Knife with a slightly perplexed face.

Knife spits his water out again, with even more shock. "WHAT?! W-WHERE?! IS THIS TRUE?! I NEED TO KNOW WHERE HE IS!" He moved rapidly around Suitcase, showing his excitement of that topic.

"The thing is, I don't know! They said a room, but there are a lot of rooms and it's too vague of a description for me to know his exact location. Also, I think it's a surprise for MePhone, so you and I are the only ones who know, so don't tell this to a single person, okay?" Suitcase urges, trying to calm Knife down.

"Uh… alright," Knife agrees.

"Anyways, moving away from that topic for now, how's Bow and Dough doing?" Suitcase asks Knife, knowing that Knife would've gone crazy about continuing the previous conversation.

"Oh, Bow is usually on her phone texting random people while Dough is either playing the piano or something else. Just letting you know that he plays it GOOD, and I'm not lying." Knife responds to Suitcase like they've been talking about them the whole time.

"Heh, alright." Suitcase says with a shy smile on her face continuing to chat for the night.

"How's he doing?" Fan asks Test Tube, as his partner scrolls through her tablet. She presses some buttons on the screen, making noisy beeps.

"He's fine for now. I'm glad I set up that camera in the corner of the lab. Otherwise, we wouldn't have seen if he causes chaos or if someone breaks in," Test Tube replies to him.

From Test Tube's tablet, they could see 4S sitting on the side of the bed, twiddling his thumbs and looking down at the ground. He looked a little anxious, sad even, but still tried to look tough with his sunglasses.

"Wondering if he still has his memories…" Test Tube mutters, scratching her chin, and observing the tablet closely.

MePhone4S gets up and walks to the counter, where a photo of Fan and Test Tube holding a Shimmer egg (which appeared frequently in the last few episodes of Season 2) is on display. He walks to it and picks up the photo confusedly.

"What's Fan and Test Tube holding?" Mephone4S thinks to himself. He shrugs and puts the photo face down. Test Tube opens a tab, then looks at Fan with a face meaning 'What?' Then, 4S notices a big screen and walks to it, not noticing the sticky note plastered on it.

"AAH, TEST TUBE! Activate the invisible security forcefield around our future project!!!" Fan shrieks at Test Tube. Test Tube quickly presses some buttons in panic which activates a forcefield around the area where the project was located. Mephone4S walks up to it without noticing the forcefield activation accidentally bumping into it. He taps the forcefield a little then scratches his head. He shrugs it off and goes back to his bed where he sits. Fan and Test Tube sigh in relief.

"He's been doing this for a while, well, except for those. He just usually walks to the middle of the room and looks around, then goes back to the bed to sit. It's weird," Test Tube says to Fan, telling him her analysis of what was going on for around the past five or more hours after getting back from the beach. When they talk for a bit, they don't notice Mephone4S walking to the middle of the room looking around one more time. He realizes something.

Memories came flooding back. Him killing MePhone4 using a gun. Him downgrading to MePhone4. Him inside of MePhone4 for around 6 or more years. Encouraging MePhone to make a MeLife icon for Springy. Meeting Knife at the Pick-Nix tables that were used for Season 3. All of them came flooding back. Well, mostly the ones about MePhone4, as there was a slight memory gap in his system only about that topic. He was a bit overwhelmed by all of it, but the main thing was MePhone4. He wasn't enraged at him, for he had a change of heart a long time ago, but he was just sad that he hadn't seen anyone in a long time, and he seriously missed MePhone4, despite being in him.

His head was hurting a lot from the memories, so he quickly ran to his bed, wanting it to stop. Fan and Test Tube were laughing at a joke that Fan made until they heard commotion coming from the tablet. It sounded like heavy breathing. They immediately stopped their conversation and looked at the tablet. They see MePhone4S on the bed curled up into a ball covering his face with his hands. Test Tube and Fan couldn't see his face, but they knew that he was having freak-outs.

"This is new. Also kind of weird…" Test Tube said. "4S isn't the type of person to have anxiety. Or is he?" Test Tube and Fan looked at each other with concerned frowns.

"Make this stop, make this stop, please," MePhone4S repeated in his head. His senses were coming back, just as new questions popped up and overloaded him. Where was he? Where's MePhone4? Where is anyone? He couldn't take it anymore. He was about to say something as tears welled up in his eyes when-

Everything went silent for a minute. Fan and Test Tube's faces were stone-cold as they witnessed what happened to 4S. He passed out and was dead silent near the floor of the bed. Test Tube dropped the tablet on the floor only making a small thud since the floor was made of carpet. Test Tube had her hands covering her mouth. Fan looked at Test Tube with shocked, wide eyes, pointing to the tablet with shaking hands. Test Tube quickly nods and hurriedly dashes to the laboratory, grabbing the tablet and Fan on the way out the door.

Fan and Test Tube lifted MePhone4S off the ground onto the bed. They then inspected the room to see what had happened while 4S was in there. When Fan got tired, he used the end of the bed as a stand, breathing heavily.

"Should we make some final adjustments to him?" Fan says while looking at MePhone4S on the bed.

"Hm, maybe," Test Tube replies as she was scrolling on the tablet. She puts the tablet down on a nearby counter and grabs a plug. She attaches it to the phone again and types in it until she gets interrupted.

"Wait! What if you mess up his coding?" Fan shouts to Test Tube.

"Oh. I'm only changing his emotion modulator a little, as well his voice," Test Tube replies to Fan as if it's no biggie.

"What are you changing his voice- actually why are you doing this at all?" Fan asks confused.

"I'm doing this because I changed his emotion modulator this time, so it wasn't fully like the original, but still the same mindset, and if he gets too emotional, well… yea it'll sound kinda weird in my opinion. I know his voice is kinda iconic, but I think this is for the best. Also, I'll do some tuning to make it sound like MePhone's voice, but a little lower and deep pitched," Test Tube explains.

"Oh. Okay," Fan agrees. Clicks of a computer could be heard as Fan walks and grabs the tablet. He scrolls through it, looking at MePhone4S's history (yes, Fan and Test Tube can do that for now), and finds a few interesting things, but as he scrolls to the end, he's intrigued by something and goes to show Test Tube.

"Oh!" Test Tube says while putting one of her hands on her mouth. Fan is holding the tablet for Test Tube so she can see the end of the log which says, "I miss MePhone4…" Fan indicates something to Test Tube, who makes a deep nod.

"...I'll do it. They've been separated for too long enough. Plus, they're only 14 and 12, they can't handle this any longer." She sighs and goes back to her computer to type.
