Chapter 3
Lunchtime
Team Phantom was waiting a Kwan's locker so that they could go to Lancer's room to have lunch and discuss more ghost related things. As they were waiting someone threw a football in Valerie's direction at the speed that it was going it would clearly knock her down, but Danny saw it coming and pulled Valerie behind him.
The ball hit him in the abs and to everyone's shock and disbelief the ball popped. "What the heck Danny? That was the winning ball!" Kwan said approaching his friends trying not to laugh, but his efforts were lost when he locked eyes with Fenton. They both broke out laughing.
"My bad man. I sometimes forget how strong I am." Danny said.
One of the football players looked at the ruined ball and practically begs Danny to join. Much to Dash's dismay. He didn't want Fen-Turd joining the team. He was a loser.
Danny smiled. The same smile that melted Valerie's heart and the hearts of every girl at Casper High as late. "I'm not really a football guy I prefer swimming." He said. Which made the Casper High swim team perk up at the mention of his interest in the sport.
"Oh come on Danny it would make your uncle very proud if you at least tried out for the football team." Tucker said.
Kwan quickly took one of-the books that Star had in her hands a walked over towards the lockers on the opposite wall. Tucker understood the assignment and walked over towards Kwan.
Kwan was casually, reading the book in his hands, leaning against the lockers, acting like he's sitting down. Tucker approaches him.

Tucker portraying Vlad cleared his throat. "Daniel I don't understand. Why won't you join the football team?"
Kwan portraying Danny. Looks up at Tucker and lets out a deep sigh. "I already told you Uncle Vlad I'm more interested in joining the swim team.
Tucker: but with your physique, you're clearly meant to be a football player.
Kwan: I'm not interested uncle Vlad.
Tucker: you're breaking my heart you know that don't you?
Kwan: can't you just accept that I have different interests.
Tucker: when I was your age.
Kwan: Oh here we go again
Tucker: (sighs) At least try out for the team then.
Kwan: Nah!
Tucker turns towards Valerie: Maddie, dear, please talk some sense into your son.
Valerie: He doesn't have to if he doesn't want to Vlad.
Tucker looks between Valerie and Kwan: This is payback for something isn't.
Kwan: I DON'T LIKE FOOTBALL OK!
Tucker: (Gasps dramatically) BLASPHEMY!
Tucker: Why do you constantly want to break my heart. All that potential wasted!
Kwan: Just let me be me!
Tucker: This conversation isn't over. (Storms off)
End of the performance.
Everyone in the hallway was laughing and applauding the show before them. Tucker, Kwan, and Valerie take a bow and walk back toward their friends. Kwan quickly got his lunch and his books for his next class out of his locker and they headed to Mr. Lancer's class.
Star opened the door and they all walked in and sat in the desks in front of the classroom. They took out their lunches and they all passed their drinks to Danny. He took the warm drinks and used his ice powers to chill them to the perfect temperature. He passed the drinks back to everyone.
As they were enjoying their lunch. Mr. Lancer pulled out the letter and medallion from his bag. He looked at his students. They were busy having their own conversations and enjoying their lunch to notice the distressed look on Mr. Lancer's face. Lancer decided he have would wait until after they finished their meals before dropping the bombshell on them.
Once everyone finished their meals. Mr. Lancer took a deep breath and cleared his throat. He unfolded the letter he had received earlier that day and he handed it to Danny.
Danny silently read over the letter and let out an audible gasp.
Valerie decided to be a bit noisy and began to quietly read the letter for over his shoulder. She too let out an audible gasp. The two lovebirds lock eyes with each other and then they turn their attention to their teacher and teammate.
Sam, Tucker, Star, and Kwan all were curious.
"What is it?" Star asked.
Danny passes the letter to Sam and she begins to read it aloud.
Letter
William, I am Clockwork. I'm sure Daniel has mentioned me. I am The keeper/Master of Time. I'm reaching out to you to invite you to become a member of King Phantom's high council. I also wish to inform you that the permission slips are for a field trip to the Ghost zone. The Guys In White are planning something against ghosts specifically Phantom. This field trip will help to stop the GIW 'S plans.

After Sam finishes reading the letter. Mr Lancer shows the Time Medallion and the permission slips for the field trip. Tucker begins to pale.
"Clockwork doesn't normally intervene unless it's necessary." He says.
Star glares at nobody in particular. She didn't like this one bit. None of them did. "Whatever the Guys in White have in store we'll be ready for them, I'll make sure of that."
Kwan shared his girlfriend's determination. "We won't fail you ,Danny."
Valerie places a reassuring hand on Danny's shoulder. "It's your call baby and we've got your back one hundred percent."
Danny looks at his friends and his teacher. They all have looks of determination and confidence. Showing that they would be by his side to the very end. "Well first things first we have to make sure my parents are leading this field trip. For some reason I feel like they don't know about it yet. There's no way I'm allowing any of those GIW Agents anywhere near my kingdom without proper protection." He said.
Valerie thought for a moment. "We need to warn the ghosts in the Zone so that they are prepared just in case the Guys In White try something. So that everyone is safe."
Tucker was deep in thought for a moment. "What did Clockwork mean when he said this field trip will help stop the GIW'S plan. That must mean that the Feild trip isn't apart of their plans."
With that being said a huge grin was now on Danny's face. "I think Clockwork is telling us to create this field trip. To show the people of Amity Park that not all ghosts are a danger to them especially me. So by having this field trip it will be an eye opener for everyone."
A smile appears on Mr. Lancer's face. Then pulled out his cellphone and began to make a very important call to their beloved Mayor Masters.
The Ghost Zone
Clockwork was watching everything play out and he had a smile on his face. He knew they would figure it out. And he didn't even have to interfere. Too much that is.
Back at Casper High
There was at least 30 minutes of their lunch break left and since they were all done eating they decided to plan the field trip. What they wanted them to see and what they didn't want them to see. Believe it or not Danny still wasn't ready to reveal his secret identity to anyone other the people who already knew just yet. He knew he would have too but to yet.
Clockwork had told him that there will be a day that would reveal himself but right now it was too early. If he reveals himself now it could cause catastrophe for the both the human world and the ghost zone. So that's why his secret has to still be hidden.
