Chapter 9: Summer with the Weasleys part 2
The Burrow: Days Later
Another day in the Burrow is another day of fun for Harry and his sisters with the Weasleys. Every morning, Harry wakes up, have his breakfast, wash up and change in clean clothes before he can spend his days with Ron and the Twins. Even the other weasleys are good company to Harry, Percy would come and ask if he's alright, the Twins tell fun and interesting stories and things that they did, even Arthur when he asks Harry anything Muggle related. For example, the Weasley Patriarch asked Harry about how rubber ducks works, which Harry couldn't help but obliged the man's curiosity by telling what he was told when he first asked how rubber ducks float.
Of course, not all days are all fun and games for Harry, Harry would offer to help around the house, do his share of the chores. Molly appreciated the offer but didn't think Harry needs to, but when Harry explained that he does his share of chores when he's sailing aboard the Sunny, it didn't bother him at all.
(Flashback: Second Day at the Burrow)
After breakfast, when Molly is about to collect the dishes, Harry stands up and starts gathering them for her.
This shocked everyone, all but Belle and Hinagiku as if this is normal to them.
"Please, it's no bother, Harry!" said Molly holding out her hands when Harry offered to help her with the chores. "You don't have to, it's no trouble."
"I wouldn't think of it," said Harry as he gathered the dishes after breakfast. "Sure I'm on holiday, but I wouldn't just take advantage of your hospitality by doing nothing. I'm raised better that way since I help out on the Sunny during our voyages."
Molly is about to say something when Belle suddenly speaks.
"It's really no problem, Mrs Weasley," said Belle. "We all pull our weight, especially when we're relaxing."
Molly is reluctant, she doesn't want to think that she's being ungrateful, especially since Harry is offering to help. After hesitating she accepts the offer and lets him do some of the chores, albeit sighing from this awkwardness.
"If you want to help, then I won't stop you," said Molly rubbing the back of her head.
Harry smiles and nods as he starts help Molly by washing the dishes.
"You should help too," said Harry with a deadpan look at his sisters who are simply standing here.
"We wouldn't want to overwhelm our host by stealing all of her chores," said Belle. "You wouldn't want her feeling guilty than she already is, right?"
Harry scoffs and turns away so to help Molly.
"Unbelievable," Harry mutters at his lazy sisters.
(End of Flashback)
In the past few days, every morning he'd be sweeping the floors, washing the dishes, or help the Weasley De-gnome the garden... whatever that is. Of course, Harry figured out what de-gnoming is, when he enters the garden to do his first ever de-gnoming chore with Ron and the Twins. Ron explained that Gnomes would infest the shrubberies every morning to dig viciously at the garden for worms and bugs to eat, which by doing so, damages the flowerbeds, leave pot holes to fill up and occasionally unearth the vegetable patch before the crops are ready for harvest.
(Flashback: Burrow Garden)
When Harry is done with the chores inside the Burrow, he exits the house to assist Ron, Fred and George in their de-gnoming chore, which they obviously hate doing. Ron starts to explain how De-gnoming works, and why it must be done every morning, which is a real drag if you think about it.
"They're a real pest gnomes, unlike the ones Muggle portrays in their gardens, you know, them little clay Father Christmases with fishing rods," said Ron as he puts on his gloves and shoves his hand into the shrubbery. He rustles for a while until he pulls out what appears to be a lumpy potato with arms and legs. "This is a Gnome, ugly thing, innit?"
"Indeed," said Harry, even though last term's DADA class covered Gnomes in one of its lessons, not to mention dealing with them back in the End of terms exam, it's still a disturbing sight to see. "And I thought House Elves were ugly, so what now?"
"well, you'll swing it a round a few times until it goes dizzy, then you toss it over the fence and over to the field." Said Ron as he then lobs the Gnome over the fence and watches it fly. "It doesn't hurt them, just makes them disorient enough that they won't find their way back and wander off in the open. And if you're lucky, you'll see them get picked off by birds, foxes and whatnot."
"If we're lucky," said Fred crossing his arms and frowned. "The blighters are fast breeders, worse than rats. You have no idea how many we found lurking in our garden last summer, dozens of them, making a mess in our garden. We had to borrow the neighbour's Crup to help us. Then again, the Crup made an awful mess than the gnomes when that split-tailed mutt mauled them to pieces and craping in the fanged geraniums."
"We were lucky that mum fed them nasty flowers before it decided to eat the crup's forked tail while its "watering" them." Said Ron pulling an annoyed grimace as he recalls earning a nasty bit from the Crup when he and the Twins tried to keep it away from those gnashing flowers. "Damn Crup, it's a good thing mum's a more of a cat person."
"Anyway, we best start de-gnoming if we want to hang about HoneyDukes again," said George as he and his brothers scatter around to search for the gnomes hiding in the bushes. Harry joins in too, digging his gloved hands in the shrubbery to search for the Gnomes, he pulls one out, swings then around until it gets dizzy and tosses it into the open field. Doing this chore is kinda fun, sure finding these lumpy blighters itself is a chore, but tossing them about, and seeing how far he can take them is where it gets interesting.
"You ever find out how far you can toss them?" said Harry
"Oh yes, we'd even made a game out if it," said Fred as he starts swinging his 7th Gnome now, hitting them at afar items like bundles of hay, rusty derelict tractors, even an old scarecrow in the middle of the field. "You see that scarecrow? Let's see if I can hit it."
Fred lobs the gnome and sent it flying towards the scarecrow in the middle of the field, Fred threw hard, but it wasn't enough to reach the derelict scarecrow and only missed it by a couple of inches. "Damn, I always miss that scarecrow, it's been here for decades back when the Burrow was part of some farm long ago."
"Creeps the hell out of us whenever we de-gnome the garden," said George as he unnervingly gaze upon the scarecrow from afar. "And no matter how many times we try to knock it down with a gnome, we never get to get close."
"Really?" said Harry as he decides to have a go, he swings the gnome in his hand and tosses it. Suddenly, bam! The tossed Gnome hit the scarecrow, splintering it into pieces, leaving nothing but rotting straw scattering in the wind while the burlap head falls onto the ground.
Ron and the Twins were agape in shock when they saw Harry hit the scarecrow in just one go.
"How did you do that?" said Ron
"Years playing in Davy Back fights, some games involve throwing," said Harry calmly while he just stares in a deadpan expression. "They were fun to play at first, until it was ruined when Belle started fixing them so to win any bets she made."
"Some of those games didn't require my assistance!" Belle shouts out from the first floor window, clearly she heard Harry mention her about those fixed Davy Back fights.
"Only because you didn't bet on them!" Harry retorted back with annoyance in his voice. "You only bet on the games what will cash in the big beris."
"Nyeh!" Belle sticks out her tongue out and performs akanbe at Harry. Harry formed an angry tick at Belle and accurately tossed a gnome at her. It hit her, sending her flying back in Ginny's room. "Ew, get off me, you lumpy thing!"
Belle was wrestling with the gnome who crashed into her, the little blighter was being a bit frisky since it landed on a girl. Disgusted by this, Belle showed no mercy to the lecherous gnome, beating it black and blue and kicked it out the window.
The Gnome flies 500 yards until it crashes on the far off side of the field.
"Whoa, a new record!" said Fred in amazement when he sees the gnome fly off.
Belle leans out from the open window and starts mouthing off at Harry.
"You'll pay for that, moron!" exclaimed Belle
"Yeah, yeah," Harry waves Belle off and resumes with the de-gnoming.
(End of Flashback)
Ottery St Catchpole
After the morning chores, Harry spends more time to hang out and play with the Weasleys, where they take him to the nearby town, Ottery St Catchpole. A small town nearby where muggles and magic folk live with each other, there they can hang out in shops, spend some muggle pocket money that the Twins earned when they've been selling their bootleg wizard prank products to children, be they fellow witches and wizards, or gullible muggle children, which may or may not go unnoticed by their father considering this goes against the Improper Use of Magic Law.
Of course, the twins found a loophole in that law, they'll only sell their products to muggle children that doesn't show any notice afflictions for the DMLE to know, and can only be seen as nothing but some new brand of novelties similar to other muggle items. Selling to fellow wizards and witches are fine since that part is legal. Harry assists the twins on their little sales pitch, using his charisma to woe in the customers to buy the Weasleys' prototype products, in exchange for his share of the profits.
And as like the days before, Harry and the Twins would continue their little legitimate business in town, selling their wares to the local children for some pocket money.
"Step right up, step right up, come on down!" Fred calls out where he and George display their wares on their little stall they placed around the town. Getting the attention to the children around town. "Want to make your summer more fun and exciting, then come on over and take a look at are fine novelties that would guarantee you laugher so much it'll make your sides hurt."
"That's right, come freak everyone out with our screaming yo-yos," said Fred as he displays his product. At first glance, it looks like any other yo-yo, but when Fred lets it whirl down its string, it starts to give out a creepy scream before whirling it back up.
"And to gross people out and make lose their appetite, chuck in a dungbomb and leg it," said George as he shows off a couple of small brown bombs. "Just come on down and enjoy your summer with a few laughs, all in reasonable prices.
Like before, they get their wares sold by many young customers, both magical or muggles alike, earning them money, both in pound sterlings or in silver sickles and bronze knuts. Of course, it helps when Harry, Belle and Hinagiku spread rumours to promote the twin's wears. Piquing the childrens' curiosity and for them to spend their pocket money which they will get their share of the profits, like they did before.
Honeydukes
With the profits, the boys would enjoy buy snacks and treats, both in muggle shops and in discreet wizard shops where only the conditioned patrons can find. They would to this town's brand of Honeydukes, where you'd find other underage wizards hang out to buy and eat their favourite treats, especially when it includes a snack bar where they get to enjoy a fresh goblet of pumpkin fizz and other fizzy beverages popular to the young palate.
"Alright there, Harry?"
Harry turns to see Cedric Diggory, a Hufflepuff student who played in the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. He and Harry met on the second day and they got along since they were good sports at their favourite game and are happy to hang out and would talk about Quidditch all afternoon if they can. Harry learns that Cedric lives around here, and his father Amos is a good friend with the Weasleys' father Arthur.
"Alright, Cedric," said Harry as he shake his Quidditch rival's hand, once again to see a fellow Seeker hanging out.
"Are you keeping up with your Seeker practice?" said Cedric
"You know it," said Harry with a smirk. "If you think I've gotten soft just because I'm taking it easy during the holidays, you have another thing coming."
Cedric chuckles while he drinks his pumpkin fizz.
"That's good to hear, I wouldn't want to make our next match easy when we return to Hogwarts."
"This will be... your 4th year at Hogwarts, right?" said Harry
"That's right," said Cedric, "I still can't believe that it's been 4 years since I started my studies in Hogwarts. Time does fly, huh?"
"Especially when we're the ones, flying," said Harry, causing him and Cedric to laugh.
Ron isn't happy whenever he sees Harry converse with Cedric, seeing that he's a Gryffindor loyalist, Fred and George doesn't mind for they are in good terms with the Diggory boy, especially when he's a good sport in their rivalry in Quidditch.
"So, you still up to playing a round with us in the field outside the Burrow?" said Harry. "To hope hone our Seeking skills."
"Of course, It's more effective if I have some competition," said Cedric with a eager grin.
Harry and Cedric tip their goblets in and proceeds in drinking.
"Another round please," said Harry, to the barkeep as he place a couple of coins on the counter. "Same for my friend here."
Outside the Burrow
After hanging out in Honeydukes, Harry, Ron and the Twins return to the Burrow with Cedric along so they can have fun with their brooms. Of course, it wouldn't play a proper game of Quidditch, but an improvised game between a team of 2, with Harry and Cedric as single chasers, using volleyballs and dodgeballs instead of the usual Quaffle and Bludgers since the Weasleys don't have any of these Quidditch balls in the house, due to how expensive they are. Harry and Cedric are each paired with a Weasley Twin, (Fred with Harry, and Cedric with George) as their single beater to either tossing dodgeballs (substituting bludgers) at the opposing chasers while aiding their paired Chaser in scoring through the goal, which is a 12-foot pole with a basket inside, guarded by Ron hovering in front, preventing either Harry or Cedric from scoring.
They would play for hours, each building up their scores which are maintaining a stalemate due to how good Harry and Cedric are at chasing rather than seeking. Fred and George are having run tossing dodgeballs at Harry and Cedric, attempting and trying to knock either one off their brooms. Ron was ticked when he was posted as Keeper, but whenever Harry and Cedric toss their volleyball (which substitutes a quaffle) into the Hoop, Ron immediately catches and swats them away, which if he was being honest, was quite fun.
The boys are enjoying their game, chasers scoring while dodging dodgeballs thrown by the Twins, and Ron blocking attempted score. They fly high and fast above the open field, like a swarm of billywigs in a hot Australian summer. Of course, they mustn't fly too high, they keep to the length of the trees that surrounds the field, keeping them hidden from any one (more specifically Muggles) from seeing them fly on their brooms out in the open. Flying brooms isn't illegal to under aged wizards since it doesn't require wands to ride them, so it's permitted since the boys had enough practice on them during their first flying lessons with Madam Hooch on their first year, (that and years of Quidditch practice and matches too).
During the eve of the game, Harry has the volleyball in hand, Cedric and George are on his tail, giving chase so they can steal the ball and thus the score before Harry can make it. Fortunately Fred is coming and tossed the dodgeball at Cedric, forcing the Hufflepuff Seeker to divert from his pursuit from Harry. George however is still chasing him, he drives down to collect the dodgeball laying on the field and primes to throw it at Harry, he throws it, but it strikes Fred when he flew into the ball's trajectory, sacrificing himself so that Harry can score.
Once Harry is close enough, he heaves the volleyball as hard as he can and throws it towards the goalpost. Ron still hovers in front, he focuses and prepares to catch it, but the ball is flying too fast, Ron panics and evades so not to get hurt, and that was foolish of him because he left the goalpost open and Harry scored.
"Yes!" Harry raising his arms in triumph, he scored and won the game. He descends to the ground and dismounts his Nimbus 2000. He turns to Fred, who was struck down by George's dodgeball and crashes into the field. "You alright there, Fred?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," said Fred, despite bearing a bruise in his upper left arm, but nothing a vial of Wiggenwald potion can't fix. "When playing Quiddich for a couple of years, bruises and cuts are expected."
"That was ballsy when you shielded Harry like that, bro," said George as he slowly descends to the ground. "Nice one,"
"Cheers," said Fred as he carefully pats his brother's shoulder with his left arm, it still aches from that sacrificial crash.
"Indeed, you played like any Quidditch player should," said Cedric dismounting his broom before turning to Harry. "And Harry, if you weren't a Seeker, you'd make a decent Chaser."
"True, but I wouldn't want to steal the girls' thunder, plus chasing after the Snitch is more thrilling given how fast we're going."
"Can't argue with that," said Cedric with a chuckle, as a Seeker himself he too understands the thrill of the chase after the Golden Snitch, when them going to fast that the wind blows immensely in their face, building up the adrenaline when they feel their lives getting more dangerous the faster they get just to reach for that speeding snitch. "Shame we can't do that here, Snitches are ridiculously expensive."
"Considering that they're made of gold, it's not surprising," said Harry
"Boys! Dinner's ready!" Molly suddenly calls out from the Burrow.
"Cedric, it's dinner time!" Cedric's father Amos also calls out.
"I think that's that for today," said Cedric as he offer his hand at Harry. "I'll see you later, Dad and I are going to see England play against Ireland tomorrow and we'll won't be back for about a couple of days."
"That's alright, we'll see each other in Diagon Alley when we're out shopping for next term," said Harry as he takes Cedric's hand and shakes it. "Or maybe later in the pitch when Gryffindor and Hufflepuff plays."
Cedric nods and turns to shake Fred and George's hand next before taking his leave.
Back in the Burrow
When the days end and the evening comes, the boys and girls has to return to the Burrow before dark and just in time for dinner. Mrs Weasley is an exceptional cook, the meals she makes for her family would compare to the meals Sanji makes for the Crew. Of course, like Sanji's meals, they were made with love.
But it wouldn't be fair to make a comparison to the meal times between here in the Burrow and in the mess hall aboard the Sunny, and especially in the Great Hall at Hogwarts. Harry is enjoying his meal with this sisters and the Weasleys. Molly cooked so much, which is not surprising since the Weasley's are a large family consist of 4 boys and 1 girl, plus adding one boy and two girls in the mix and it's reasonable for Molly to cook so much. At least all that food goes to everyone rather than the most goes to a certain gluttonous rubbery Pirate King who doesn't seem to step until he's bulging like a water balloon at every meal.
"Are you enjoying your stay here, Harry?" said Arthur
"Yes, I am, Mr. Weasley," said Harry.
"Oh good, I was a tad worried you'll be bored being on land for sometime," said Arthur, which causes Harry to chuckle.
"I haven't lost me sea-legs, sir. I assure you," said Harry amid his chuckling. "In fact, there are so many things I want to see in this country and, in the future, the rest of the world. It's but a start of a new adventure for me."
"Well, once you graduate Hogwarts, the sky's the limit," said Arthur with a sigh. "I do envy you though, I love to explore, see the world, both ours and the muggle world. But as you know, it'll take money for that to be possible, we'd be lucky to earn enough to visit a muggle theme park."
"If you want, I can ask Dad if you want to sail with us, just for a while when you're off work," said Harry
"That is generous of you, but I don't think that's necessary," said Arthur. "I'm happy and content with my life here, even though we're managing financially."
"What made you choose to work in the Department of Misuse of Muggle Items, sir?" said Harry
"I find Muggles fascinating," said Arthur with a chuckle. "I always wonder how muggles manage without the use of magic and I was amazed what sort of technology they make throughout the centuries. Cars, Airplanes, Televisions, Washing Machines, there are so many things that Muggles made I find interesting, I even collect light bulbs, switches and plugs so I can understand how they work with eceltricity."
"Electricity, sir," said Harry was he chuckled at Arthur's mispronunciation of the word. "But surely you could do something more... financially for your family, sir."
"True, but despite being the 7th son of Septimus, who is also the 7th Son of my Grandfather, " said Arthur, "I'm afraid I wasn't lucky on finding the ideal job for me with a decent pay grade. The fabled Weasley Luck died with my Father, I'm afraid."
"Lucky 7 is dead, sir?" said Harry with a sad frown
"Oh no, no, wrong choice of words Harry," Arthur holding out his hands to assure Harry. "Dad's very much alive, he even survived the Dragon Pox which only scared him with some scaly blemishes. What I mean is that despite being the 7th son, I never got that famous Weasley Luck passed on."
"Sorry to hear that sir," said Harry. "although, you may have that luck on you, even if you didn't know it."
"What do you mean, Harry?" said Arthur
"Well, you're married to the woman you love, you have a big family and you're happy with doing stuff you like." Said Harry. "I know it isn't enough, but it's better than enough. And besides, your luck may turn for the best in time."
Arthur chuckles at Harry and pats the boy's shoulder.
Purururu Pururu
"What's that noise?" said Arthur when a certain noise is heard in the kitchen
"Oh, that's me," said Harry as he pulls out his small Den Den Muchi, "They're calling me,"
"Heavens, is that a snail telephone?" said Arthur with intrigued. "I heard people talk about how you use them like telephones."
"Yeah, but this one is modified by one of my Blink-Blink Fruit abilities: Bubble" said Harry as he displayed the Den Den Mushi is encased in a small shimmering bubble. "Bubble, creates a small bubble-like portal connecting to one bubble to another bubble, which is surrounding another Den Den Mushi. It's was one my experiments to figure out how my powers work.
"And you made a way to communicate to other worlds?" said Arthur
"Not really, I created it to prevent wiretapping since White Den Den Mushis are rare," said Harry before he answers the snail. "Hello?"
"Harry, you're not busy, are you?" the voice of Nami suddenly speaks out and mimicked by the Den Den Mushi.
"Just having dinner with the Weasleys, why?" said Harry
Dressrosa: Royal Palace
Back in the other world, The Straw Hats are currently in Dressrosa where a pirate crew attempted to raid and sack the kingdom, either knowing not knowing the fact that Dressrosa is Straw Hats' territory. King Riku requested aid from the Straw Hats to help, which they answered the call and came to deal with the foolish pirates. Disposing with the Pirates was no problem, especially when the Straw Hats were assisted by Leo, the 5th Captain of the Straw Hat Fleet and Dwarf from the Tontatta Kingdom. Leo helped by using his Stitch-Stitch Fruit to sew the pirates into the walls, sewing their feet into the ground or just sew a few of them at a time together so they wouldn't attack. Leo fended off those for a while before the Straw Hats arrived to help.
The rookie attempted to take over when news of the Straw Hats staying over to another world where the "Vanishing Child" originally came from reached the ears of many and thought they'd take advantage of the situation. Little do they know is that the Straw Hats are never gone, and messing with their friends and their tuft is an invitation to cause trouble.
Anyway, the threat is over and the famed pirate Crew are staying over at Dressrosa for a bit to relax and restock before shoring off. In fact, they were invited by King Riku to stay over at the Royal Palace for a celebratory meal, which they are currently having in the dining hall.
Nami is at the Den Den Mushi calling Harry to tell him that the business they have in the kingdom of Dressrosa is done with.
"We need you for a second, we're done with the troublemaker in Dressrosa and we're ready to leave for Cornwall." Said Nami as she looks around to see her fellow crewmates are enjoying themselves. She can see her husband hanging out with Rebecca, the young princess she and Luffy met back with Luffy competed for the Gladiatorial Games to win Ace's Flame-Flame Fruit with Doflamingo used as bait to trap him, Rebecca was disgraced and hated because of her grandfather's crimes against his kingdom, only for it to be falsely accused when he was under the control of Doflamingo's String-String Fruit powers. After the liberation of Dressrosa under Doflamingo's cruel reign, Rebecca and her family were back to ruling the Kingdom as the beloved Monarchy they've ever been before.
Of course, Luffy and Rebecca were secretly seeing each other whenever the Straw Hats pop by to visit Dressrosa, they would either rendezvous in the Flower Hill where she still lives in, or have a friendly spar in the Coliseum, either way it'll be in secret for the relationship with a Pirate and Princess is frowned upon... almost for the only ones who knew about it is the Royal Family, Kyros and the Straw Hats, especially Nami.
Nami doesn't mind since it's not the first Luffy secretly courts with another Princess, Neferitari Vivi of Alabasta, which the Pirate Queen herself is also courting too. She does like Rebecca but she isn't Vivi for the Cyan haired princess already had a special place in the navigator's heart.
She turns to Hancock which she knows she'll be a problem whenever Luffy is around the fairest sex. The Pirate Empress is doing her best to not make a scene, but her expression says otherwise whenever to she sneaks a side-eye to watch her beloved hang out with the Dressrosian Princess. Don't get her wrong, she has high respects for Rebecca for her strength and would consider as a fellow Kuja if she was ever born in Amazon Lily, but her petty jealousy is still a hassle despite having an open relationship with her husband. After all, she somewhat tolerates Nami for sharing her husband.
Seeing that Hancock behaving, Nami sighs in relief and is proud of her for not making a scene, last time she didn't she had to deal with a certain Blond Giantess from Elbaf, and it wasn't pretty. Then again, Hancock needed that moment to be humble after she walked into that interesting foreplay Luffy and Gerd were doing.
She turns to see Usopp telling his fun tall tales to Chopper and Leo, earning sparkled eyes of astonishment from both the Reindeer and the green-clad dwarf. Nami shook her head but chuckles whenever Usopp narrates his usual (but fun) tall tales to the gullible Zoan and dwarf. I still can't believe they're still buying that crap. She turns to see Kaya laughing with amusement when she hear her husband tells his stories, still enjoying them like she did back when they were teenagers in Syrup Village. At lease Kaya's happy hearing them.
Zoro is drinking heavily as always, after enjoying his meal while conversing with Kyros. Sanji is being his charming self with Princess Viola, despite Pudding jealous pouting and murderous leers at the Riku Princess who "stole" Sanji's attention.
Robin is being her calm self, enjoying her meal and cup of coffee amid the rowdiness of the meal the Riku Family are having with the Straw Hats, and Jimbei are the only ones who are showing manners unlike the others. Franky, Brook and Mick are up on the table, hyping up the once meal turned party with music and dance. Franky pulls out his guitar and plays a trio with Brook with his violin and Mick with his bass guitar.
"We've finished our business here in Dressrosa," said Nami
"There's no rush though, we're currently having a meal with the Riku Royal family at their palace." said Nami
"So when do you want me to pick you up?" Harry asked.
"Give us about a day to rest and restock," said Nami currently eating her meal while watching the fun madness her crewmates are having. "So come by in the morning."
"Alright, I'll be there tomorrow to pick you up," said Harry as the snail mimics his smile. "Have fun"
"You too, just not too much to give the Weasleys trouble, alright?" said Nami
Harry only laughed but assumingly as he said "Don't worry, I won't."
Harry hangs up and the snail falls asleep since the connection is cut off, Nami puts the Den Den Mushi away and resumes her eating while watching the foolish merrymaking her crew are having. She shook her head but smiles as somethings never change, for the better.
