AN1: The reason this took so long was due to several factors. Overall laziness, writers block and having inspirations for other stories. One big thing was Naruto needed to be revived but I had too many ideas on how it could work so I have to pick one and just go with it.
To be honest I have like several events I want to happen but I kinda getting backed up to actually write these events. Part of the annoyance of writing a linear story is actually writing all the events as they happen one after another. Would people actually be mad if I did a time skip during the war and just reference some of the events instead of using tons of time writing them down? This is kinda what I am doing with the Naruto/Honkai Star Rail story.
Darkness is in everyone and the other side of everything. its not evil or anything. its just misunderstood if we think about it. People just happen to abuse its power over and over again.
Its revealed Naruto was the true X-blade wielder since birth since he was the child of prophecy-(Just a note I had in mind. I haven't really managed to put in directly in the story)
Since by now you have seen several other stories in the "Kairi Uzumaki" saga over several stories. To help this is the rough timeline
-Naruto learns about the X-blade roughly around the time of the 'Last Movie' events so it does happen for him and Hinata
-goes to unspecified number of worlds
-Awakens the Sharingan/MS/Rinnegan through unspecified means (yes, I will explain it. Probably in the Naruto visits Boruto world story through a flashback(
-Uzumaki won't play the Game of Thrones (Naruto/Game of Throne story happens)-Naruto is still 'learning and testing the power of his Rinnegan-

I will admit its been awhile since I worked on this story hence why I decided to do Trailblazer helps out Kairi Uzumaki to show the 'ending' of the Keyblade War so I wouldn't have to show every scene and chapter up to that point.
Chapter 9 What is best for Naruto?
"Now to revive Naruto. If you will Kurama, will you stand still?" Natsumi asked cheerfully as she turned to look at Kurama.
Kurama eyes looked down as an uncertain expression filled the Tailed Beast making Natsumi surprised. Natsumi blue eyes looked into Kurama red slitted eyes with both concern and surprise. She placed a hand on his shoulder as he closed his eyes for a moment before looking into the sky with a vacant expression as if he was not there at the moment.
"Kurama?... Why did you stop me from destroying the Riku Replica if you were going to do it yourself?" Natsumi asked after a moment seeing that Kurama seemed to be distracted.
"…. Naruto shouldn't dirty his hands if at all possible…. I have slaughtered humans before to survive but Naruto isn't like that." Kurama stated bluntly before turning to her with a slight knowing smile.
"I am sure the 'me' that inside of you would do the same. So, if I destroy the ones who cannot be turned or converted then I will do it… for Naruto…" Kurama revealed as Natsumi eyes widened before a wide smile appeared on her face looking rather touched.
"Although he has dirtied his hands when it was unavoidable he has always tried to talk things out before. Jerks like Code who would turn entire world to nothing to gain power cannot be changed not even with Naruto." Kurama added as Natsumi nodded rather solemnly. AN2:
"Aw! You really are the same as the Kurama inside of me! A big soft fox! A softie like we have always known!" Natsumi cheered happily as Kurama rolled his eyes and scoffed.
Aqua and Mickey exchanged an uncertain look at Kurama open admission of killing humans before but Riku pulled them aside.
"Look I don't fully trust Kurama or whatever is inside of Naruto but my heart feels we can trust Naruto. Not just because he is Kairi actual brother but because he shown he wants the worlds to stay the same." Riku whispered as his fellow Keyblade Masters gave slow nods.
"I feel the same. My heart is telling me this guy is the real deal. He truly came here to save Kairi and the balance of the worlds." Aqua added.
"… Master Yen Sid might not agree but he taught me to trust my heart and my heart is telling me to put my faith in them." Mickey noted thinking of his wise but stern old master.
Master Xehanort narrowed his eyes at Kurama's admission but could not help having a grudging respect for Kurama.
'That fox or whatever is controlling young Naruto's body is much older than we are…. I suppose to a being that can survive hundreds of years the life of mortals is not much especially for his own survival.' Master Xehanort mused to himself.
Namine and Xion were watching Natsumi and Kurama carefully while Kairi was pouting.
'I know Natsumi isn't really my brother or sibling but its still weird how close they are…. Would we have been like that if we grew up together?' Kairi thought to herself sadly.
"What does she eat or drink to have that kind of body? She isn't that much older than us, right?" Xion whispered to Namine who pouted.
"Is it a Ninja thing or will our bodies naturally mature in a few years?" Namine suggested just as quiet.
"Naruto…. I can still feel you connected to me… It's not over yet. It's not…." Kurama mumbled to himself as he looked up at the sky as if gazing into the far away distance.
Natsumi made a hand sign as she gathered chakra and took a deep breath. There was a visible aura of blue chakra surrounding her for a moment.
"What a powerful aura… So that is the power of chakra when it's used by someone on their level. The level to defeat Gods…?" Aqua suggested as she and Mickey shuddered at the intensity of the chakra she released.
"I know… I have been around some powerful darkness but this makes even me shudder at what power like this could be if used by the wrong people. Despite this I still believe neither of those blondes, Naruto and Natsumi will ever be a true threat to us or the Realm of Light. They seem to be seem good people." Riku acknowledged as he put a hand over his eyes.
"Alright this should be enough. Okay Kurama you can sit down and sit back. Let your control over Naruto go. This next step can be done when Naruto is just lying there to restore his chakra and his strength." Natsumi commanded as she stepped next to Kurama.
"Next step? What kind of step would Mr. Naruto need to be unconscious for? Is it some sort of passing of energy that is painful?" Ventus asked cluelessly.
"Why is Miss Natsumi blushing? Is it embarrassing for some reason?" Roxas asked ironically just as clueless as both blondes tilted their heads in confusion.
Xion and Aqua sighed while Lea chuckled.
"I guess some things besides looks are the same with you both. Neither of you have the slightest idea the inner thoughts of women. The fairer sex so to speak." Lea commented as both of them looked at him narrowed eyes.
"I don't care about any of this stuff! Just bring my brother back!" Kairi shouted with a frustrated glare at Natsumi and Kurama.
Natsumi turned to the younger looking girl with an amused if not impressed look. Meanwhile Kurama gave Kairi a notable annoyed expression.
"You have no idea how Naruto feels, little girl. Just because you share his blood doesn't mean you know the first thing about him." Kurama claimed as Natsumi glared at him.
"Hey Kurama! That is taking it too far!" Natsumi claimed as she put a hand on Naruto's jacket grabbing it to tug and bring Kurama to eye level.
"Harsh? Perhaps but I know that you feel that way too. You of all people know that blood is not the thing that truly connects people but bonds. What bonds do these 'sisters' of Naruto have with him? Before today they didn't even know he existed!" Kurama retorted back as Natsumi looked away with an uncertain expression.
"… I…." Natsumi replied notably looking uncomfortable with answering back.
Kairi winced at the tone but refused to back down as Kurama raised an eyebrow.
"Hmm perhaps you do have his tenacity and courage at least." Kurama admitted before he shrugged Naruto's shoulder.
"I suppose that is something but is still not a true bond. You can claim otherwise but his truest bond is with me. I have been with him this entire time in one shape or another. Even while he has been alone crossing this multiverse, I have been there every step of the way. When he has been forced to leave worlds and people behind, I have still been there for him." Kurama stated firmly as he gestured to Naruto's forehead with his thumb.
"I am sure she recognizes this even if she won't admit it. Humans call the team of Kurama/Natsumi or Kurama/Naruto the 'perfect controlled Jinchuriki team' but that is incorrect. It is more 'perfect Jinchuriki/Tailed Beast harmony team'." Kurama clarified as he gestured to Natsumi with a tilt of Naruto's head.
Natsumi looked sad but didn't reply or retort to Kurama's statement. She instead put a hand over her chest seemingly over her heart.
Sora and Riku instantly went to Kairi who glared at Kurama but her bottom lip was shaking showing she was affected by his words.
"Don't listen to him Kairi! He has no idea what he is talking about!" Sora told her comfortingly.
"He is still your brother even if you didn't grow up together! That won't ever change! Believe in your bond!" Riku added.
Kairi looked over at Namine and Xion who were being reassured by Roxas and Lea. However, the three of Naruto's sister seemed to have all the same resigned look hidden in their blue eyes.
"That's enough Kurama! Whatever issues you have, keep it to yourself!" Natsumi snapped as her own blue eyes were full of righteous anger.
Kurama raised an eyebrow before sighing raising his arms in surrender.
"Perhaps that was harsh and I apologize for that." Kurama surprisingly apologized as Natsumi made a handsign. The Guardians of Light looked surprised the seemingly proud Tailed Beast could apologize at all.
"Close your eyes. I would prefer to not do it this with you in control but whatever. Naruto well being is more important than my feelings." Natsumi claimed as she reached out to grab Kurama's or rather Naruto's hand.
Kurama eyes narrowed before he surprisingly stepped back preventing Natsumi from grabbing Naruto's arm.
"Kurama? Come on! Let's get this over with." Natsumi whined as she went to grab his arm again but Kurama stepped back a few feet once again.
"Sorry but I can't or rather I won't." Kurama stated firmly looking glossy eyed for a moment before he looked resolved.
Before anyone could react, Kurama vanished in a burst of speed that looked like teleporting except to Natsumi who looked like she recognized it.
"Wait that moment… It's not teleportation or a Jutsu… This is!" Natsumi noted with wide eyes.
Kurama had seemed to reappear inside the barrier holding the Guardians of Light where he was just a few feet away from Kairi who looked surprised to see him.
"Girl…. There is something I want to…" Kurama stated firmly and sternly looking at Kairi's blue eyes with his red crossing his arms over his chest.
Sora and Riku instantly took this tone to be a threat as they summoned their keyblades and stood in front of Kairi.
"You boys…." Kurama mumbled in frustration before he blinked in surprised.
Before anyone could react, a sword appeared in Kurama's hand in a flash of light along with a wooden sheathe on his waist. Kurama's right hand seemed to not be in control of Kurama as he stabbed Naruto's right foot instantly going through it and stabbing all the way into the ground.
"What is that brat doing? He stabbed himself?!" Xigbar shouted in genuine surprise along with the Guardians of Light and Seekers of Darkness.
Kurama himself seemed surprised at his actions as he left the sword inside of Naruto's foot before he lifted up his hand. Only for him to use his right hand to point at Naruto's left foot. He shot a beam of blue Lightning which shot into Naruto's left foot making Kurama stumble onto his knees.
'That was Naruto's Zanpaktou and Kido?! What's going on here? Why did Kurama literally shoot himself in the foot just now?' Natsumi thought in realization.
"Naruto! What are you doing to Naruto?" Kairi demanded seemingly forgetting any fear she might have had to Kurama having it overridden by concern about her brother's body.
Kurama's eyes focused as he flicked his right wrist to get rid of the excess electricity from his fingers. Rather than look hurt or mad he seemed almost amused judging by the smile on his face.
"Ah so even talking with a somewhat harsh tone made Naruto's body perceive that as a threat. Interesting that his body reacted like this without his soul or perhaps his heart inside of it at the moment." Kurama noted with interest as he seemed unbothered by the hole in Naruto's left foot and the sword stabbed through his right foot.
"It seems to have stabbed enough through as warning of sorts to not make another attempt at Kairi or his sisters. How reckless and ruthless of you Naruto. It seems to out of character for your calm personality or was this some sort of system you unintentionally placed on yourself?" Kurama asked looking at Naruto's chest seemingly asking him to respond.
Aqua stepped forward as Kurama's eyes narrowed as he pulled out the sword in one quick thrust leaving a stab wound that seemed to make both of his feet immobilized along with the burning hole in Naruto's left foot.
"Wait…. I don't know you and I don't trust you very much." Aqua told Kurama sternly as Kurama merely rolled his eyes.
"However. Kairi's brother on the other hand is someone I feel I can trust. He seems to be the kind of guy who would have your back in any corner no matter the odds." Aqua added with her eyes turning gently as she looked at Naruto's feet.
Namine, Xion and Kairi beamed as the rest of the Guardians of Light nodded their head in agreement. Marluxia and Larxene nodded their head when they saw Strelitzia putting a hand on her heart.
"He saved me when he didn't have to. I was ready to move on after convincing Elrena and my brother Lauriam to renounce the Darkness. I was inside of his heart so I know him well. He gave me new life when I was ready to give up. So, if there is anything I can do for him for the rest of my life I will do it for him." Strelitzia declared with her eyes full of determination.
While the majority of the remaining Seekers of Darkness looked at Naruto and Kurama with distaste, Saix looked rather somber, Luxord had a smirk of amusement, Xenmas and Ansem Seeker of Darkness kept looking at Naruto with flickers of hope in their cold eyes.
"So let me heal his wounds at the very least. Just promise me you won't hurt any of us." Aqua asked as Kurama sighed.
"You are his allies or rather his sister's ally so of course I won't actually hurt any of you. However, I don't need another person healing wounds like this for Naruto. He has me after all." Kurama stated stiffly.
"What a loser! You look like you are ready to break apart at any moment and you are refusing help for little Miss blue Keyblade Master! Are you such a stubborn beast you would intentionally stab yourself in the foot? Oh, wait you just did! Or rather your host did!" Xigbar or rather Luxu mocked loudly laughing to himself.
Master Xehanort looked annoyed as Terra-Nort and Vanitas snickered with Young Xehanort looking amused. Kurama sighed as he pivoted on his foot with the sword still drawn.
Just as quickly as before he vanished in a burst of speed. Before Anyone could react, Kurama reappeared in front of Xigbar. Kurama was looking past Xigbar with a cool expression as one of his hands was on Xigbar shoulder. The right hand was on his sword with the blade pointing down but it was clear it could be drawn at any moment.
"Terra took out that right eye didn't he, all those years ago. Maybe I should make it even on that side and give you a scar by cutting your right arm from shoulder to wrist? Not cut it off but leave a reminder of your folly?" Kurama suggested coldly as he did not seem to make even a sound with his burst of speed.
'So fast! I couldn't even see a single movement! He just vanished right in front of my eyes! Even the old man Geezer Xehanort was shocked!' Xigbar thought in fear and disbelief.
"What are you?!" Xigbar demanded as he felt sweat run down the side of his face as his eye looked at Kurama's sword warily.
"….. I am Naruto's oldest friend or rather the being who has been with Naruto forever." Kurama stated after a moment of hesitation.
Before any of the Seekers of Darkness could react, Kurama vanished again reappearing a few feet away from Natsumi who gave Kurama a look of disappointment.
"What are these abilities?! They clearly aren't magic but Naruto is using them like they are common!" Roxas asked with frustration as he looked exhausted.
"Roxas… You don't need to feel weak compared to Naruto. You are you and that is all that matters." Xion assured him as Roxas growled but nodded.
Kurama rolled his eyes looking away from Natsumi accusatory glare to glance at the Guardians of Light.
"Fine… There is a world with beings called Shinigami or Soul Reapers and Hollows. The fast movement I used was called 'Shunpo' or 'Flash Step'. Do not mistake it as teleportation as its merely high-speed movement. The reason Naruto can use abilities from that world is because of this sword. Its called a Zanpakuto and it bonded to his very soul and heart. It allowed the hidden abilities that Naruto had inside of him to manifest on the outside." Kurama explained dismissively as he put the sword or rather Zanpakuto back into it's sheathe.
Mickey gestured to Aqua who squatted down to his level.
"That sword or Zanpakuto sounds like a Keyblade but doesn't feel like one at all. It seems to have been made specifically for Naruto and Kurama since they share the same body." Mickey whispered as Aqua nodded her head.
"It seems like it. The Shunpo definitely seemed like Teleportation but if its just high-speed movement that means Naruto is much faster than he has been letting on." Aqua added quietly.
"I know you. If there is anyone who would want to save Naruto, it would be you. So why are you hesitating to let me heal him?" Natsumi demanded seemingly not caring about the threat Kurama made towards Braig.
Kurama glared at her as red chakra flowed out of him for a moment making a pressure appear. Everyone except Natsumi started to sweat from fear from the pressure.
'What is this? He is not even focusing on us but it feels like a thousand knives are pressed against my skin. Is this just his intent flowing outwards?' Terra-Nort thought angrily.
Natsumi own eyes narrowed as her Killer Intent clashed with Kurama's. This actually caused a crater to appear in between them as their chakra's clashed. The air itself seemed to be thicker from the pressure. The non combatants like Strelitzia (who seemed to have weakened from being nearly dead for so long), and Namine collapsed onto their knees. Instantly Marluxia, Larxene wrapped their arms protectively over Strelitzia, while Xion and Roxas summoned their Keyblades standing in front of Namine.
"Is this all just from their Chakra getting released? They aren't even fighting but it feels like the ground itself is quaking." Aqua noted as she had to put a hand over her face from the dust that was starting to gather and circled around Natsumi and Kurama.
After a moment of intense glare down. Kurama released his chakra putting his hands in surrender as Natsumi stopped releasing chakra as well. Both the air and ground settled down now that the chakra was no longer clashing.
"I do want to save Naruto more then anyone else here. You should know that better than anyone as a version of me exists inside of you." Kurama stated firmly as Natsumi placed a hand on her stomach for a moment.
"Then why are you stopping me? If I don't use my chakra to resuscitate Naruto then he won't wake up!" Natsumi demanded as she looked at Kurama with frustration and confusion.
Kurama looked down with sad eyes making everyone shocked that the proud Tailed Beast could make such an expression.
"What is saving Naruto to you? Bringing him back to his body to suffer? Is that what you call saving him? Making him once again be the saviour like he has always been?" Kurama asked seriously as Natsumi looked like she had been slapped.
"You don't mean? Does he truly think that way?" Natsumi whispered as looked guiltily at her hands.
"What are you talking about? Why would he want to stay… dead or whatever this is? Bring back my brother this instant!" Kairi shouted as she banged on the barrier with her bare hands.
Kurama turned to her with a look of annoyance and pity.
"Do you have any idea what Naruto has had to go through being the saviour? How much he has suffered trying to save everyone all the time? Why would I bring Naruto back just so he can suffer again?" Kurama asked quietly but everyone could hear the resentment and anger echoing in Kurama's voice.
Kairi stepped back with wide eyes as placed her hands over her mouth in terror at Kurama's words.
"What do you mean suffering? What has my brother been through?" Namine asked after standing up with a resolute look.
Kurama looked down before taking a deep breath.
"It's always been what has Naruto been able to do for other people. The Hidden Leaf needed someone to hate and blame so they used Naruto to place their own hatred into, Konoha later needed a saviour to save them so Naruto was forced to grow stronger over and over again. The entire world needed someone to save them so Naruto once again grew stronger and lost any chance of being normal as result. Then the multiverse itself needed a person who could fix countless problems across countless worlds. That meant Naruto lost the chance to find happiness in his world!" Kurama shouted as Naruto's sisters gasped with tears running down their faces.
"Every time saves someone his smiles grew sadder as he knows he will have to leave and they will move on and forget about him! While he is cursed with remembering everyone!" Kurama added resentfully as Natsumi looked away sadly.
"Even now, all you see is Kairi's brother, someone you need to depend on but you don't see who he truly is when he isn't protecting everyone! Everyone needs him but nobody ever thinks of what he wants or gets to know him! That is the curse of being Naruto the saviour!" Kurama snapped as he punched the ground causing a crater to appear.
Natsumi leapt forward avoiding the crater as she placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder. Her expression was full of kindness and understanding as Kurama turned to her with sad eyes.
"Kurama…. Naruto's been holding onto this for a long time, hasn't he? You been with him this entire time so you understand him better then anyone else…" Natsumi asked gently as Kurama nodded stiffly.
"Naruto been pulled apart so many times trying to save people over and over again. It's always the same with people taking from him piece by piece as he saves them. However, they don't realize is who will save him when he needs to be saved? He has given so much to so many people that he is broken…" Kurama admitted as Natsumi closed her eyes wiping away the tears that fell down her cheeks.
Namine, Xion and Kairi openly wept as Aqua and Ventus looked sadly at the blonde. Sora and Riku clenched their hands at the injustice of it all. Mickey, Donald and Goofy looked like they wanted to give the blonde ninja a hug even through the barrier. Roxas looked rather angry at the world itself. Marluxia, and Larxene had to hug the crying Strelitzia.
The Seekers of Darkness actually looked surprised and didn't seem able to make a mocking comment at the admission.
"Kurama… I know bringing Naruto back to his body won't fix him or be able to pay him back for everything he has done for everyone… But how will leaving him in this state able to help him move forward or heal? This is just putting a pause on his problems not erasing them." Natsumi asked Kurama firmly as Kurama sighed.
"I will be honest. As a being who has been hated and accepted hatred as my being. I know what it feels to hate the world. The world rejected me so I rejected the world itself. The 'me' inside of you knows this very well Natsumi. The person who changed me is Naruto, a person who like all Jinchuriki should have hated the world for rejecting him but instead changed the world to accept him. He did this by moving forward and showing the world his heart. The same people who mocked him and thought he wouldn't amount to anything changed because of him and now would risk their lives to save him." Kurama started as the Guardians of Light could not help but be enthralled by Kurama's tale of Naruto.
While the majority of the Seekers of Darkness looked annoyed several notable darkness seemed to be somewhat moved by Naruto including Saix, Luxord, Ansem Seeker of Darkness, Xenmas, and even Master Xehanort looked down. While Terra-Nort, Young Xehanort and Xigbar looked rather disgusted still.
"The kind of guy who would have you back even when you are pushed against the wall and the odds are against you. Someone who you believe could change things even when all hope is lost." Natsumi added with a knowing smile as Kurama nodded.
Kurama clenched his fist with anger as he looked angrily at the sky.
"However, the same people rely on Naruto so much he can't ever be weak or not perfect in front of them. He has to set some examples for the entire world itself so he is not allowed to be vulnerable especially to himself. He is not allowed to show his true emotions of sadness to anyone as they expect him to pick everyone else up. Even now he isn't allowing himself to show anything but the perfect self to people like you, his sisters and their allies and enemies." Kurama revealed as Kairi, Xion and Namine gasped at the realization. AN3:
"Are we really making him unable to express any doubts or weakness because he doesn't want us to worry about him? We are unintentionally using him as pillar of support and comfort?" Kairi whispered in shock at her fellow 'sisters' of Naruto who started to cry again.
"Kurama…. This might be true that especially for Naruto that a certain face or version of him has been forced onto him for so long he might not even know what true emotions are…. But who does keeping Naruto partially alive and not going to save him?" Natsumi asked gently as Kurama closed his eyes.
To everyone shock tears started to run down Naruto's face despite Kurama being the one in control. Kurama seemed to take notice as his stern look was still on his face but he placed his hands on his cheeks which he wiped away the tears.
"Tch… It seems even without his soul and heart inside his body his empathy and emotions still resonate in this empty vessel. I can actually feel his sadness as once again he is trying even when he away to make everyone else feel better. It is pretty sad to be honest that I the proud Kurama the Nine Tails can actually feel sadness because of Naruto." Kurama noted with a notably annoyed tone.
"Kurama…. You don't need to act tough…. I know like the 'you' inside of me being inside of us has changed you forever. You actually feel sadness that isn't just Naruto's feelings. You want to help Naruto and you don't like having to talk harshly at us." Natsumi insisted as Kurama closed his eyes and crossed his arms.
Despite this a tiny smile appeared on his as he seemed amused at Natsumi's comment before shaking his head.
"Hey X-blade! I am borrowing your power to show them what Naruto is actually going through. They can see for themselves what they are taking away from him if I let them bring him back!" Kurama yelled as there was a blue glow around his right hand.
Kurama waved his hand which had the blue glow as there was a bright light making everyone else cover their eyes. They opened them after a few seconds to show they were no longer in the Keyblade Graveyard but somewhere where it was nothing but a pure yellow light as far as the eye can see.
"This is the afterlife or rather the meeting place where souls enter after death. A stopping point before they move onto the Pure Land. That is what happens to people who die in the various worlds that are ripples from the world Naruto and I live in. This is where Naruto soul is currently. Now hush and watch what he is doing." Kurama explained as he snapped his fingers.
Kairi tried to speak but to her surprise she couldn't produce a sound as everyone else tried only to get the same result. Namine frantically waved her hands and pointed in the distance as everyone could see Naruto. Xion, Namine and Kairi gasped with tears running down their faces again when they realize that Naruto was in the embrace of a handsome spikey blonde-haired man and beautiful woman with long red hair that reached her waist.
'This is Naruto's parents! They look just like Naruto, Kairi, Namine and Xion besides Xion black hair! Or rather Naruto, Kairi, Namine, and Xion have aspects of them!' Aqua thought in realization as she saw the rest of the Guardians of Light have the same realization.
'Mom…. Dad….' Kairi thought with longing that was mirrored by Namine and Xion.
To her shock Namine and Xion eyes widened as they seemed to have heard her despite not saying a word.
'I merely made those annoying Darknesses silent, you can speak to each other using your minds in this space. I just don't want you to ruin this moment.' Kurama thought as he tapped his forehead.
'Naruto dad is Minato. You can see where the blonde hair and blue eyes come from.' Kurama noted with humour at the fact that Minato seemed to be a slightly older clone of Naruto except without the whisker marking on his cheek and slightly more refined and sterner jawline.
'Naruto's mom… ugh… my former Jinchuriki is the redheaded woman. Kairi inherited her red hair and you all got her eye shape and rounder face from her rather then Minato.' Kurama added with a notably grumpier tone.
Like Kurama stated Kushina and Kairi had the same shade of hair but Kushina hair was longer going all the way down to her waist and unlike her children had bright violet eyes while the children all got Minato's blue eyes.
Naruto seemed to not notice the group and continued to hug his parents who hugged him just as hard back.
"Tou-chan… Kaa-chan… I guess I ended up here earlier then I thought. I couldn't help it but use the Gedo Art of Rinne Rebirth despite knowing its effect from Nagato and Obito. I am sorry… I know I am suppose to value my life for as long as possible." Naruto apologized sheepishly.
Kushina and Minato shook their heads as their faces and eyes showed nothing but love and pride making Xion, Namine and Kairi drink them in like they were art they wanted to savour. Aqua gave them a knowing smile as she nodded her head.
"We would never condemn or judge you for giving your life for an innocent life. That little Strelitzia is a cutie and the X-blade told us how she tragically lost her life. I probably couldn't help myself if I had the Rinnegan and sacrifice myself to save others Ya know?" Kushina admitted easily as she rubbed one hand on the back of her neck while holding on hand on Naruto's shoulder.
'They seem so similar… they have similar personality.' Mickey thought which was echoed to the Guardians of Light as Kushina had the same sheepish smile as Naruto did.
Strelitzia turned red from the praise and swayed on her feet as she looked between Naruto and Kushina with a longing expression making Marluxia pout with his older brother instincts going off. Larxene chuckled at the duo.
"Wait! How are you able to see into the Keyblade graveyard? I know I got here because I willed myself into this version of the Pure Land but how are you able to see into that world?" Naruto asked in confusion as Minato nodded in approval.
"The X-blade allowed us to watch you as you have travelled across multiple worlds. Not every world we have been able to watch you but your adventures in the Keyblade Graveyard is well known to us. We know all about why you used the Rinnegan's revival Jutsu." Minato explained as Naruto gave a hum.
"She huh? I guess I should have expected it. She always did know more then she lets on. I guess that was the right choice. So, you know about Xion and Namine, right?" Naruto asked as Kushina and Minato exchanged happy smiles with Naruto.
"Of course! I always wanted a big family although I didn't expect Kairi to have other versions of herself! They are my daughters too! It makes me happy that you two aren't alone in this Ya Know!" Kushina exclaimed proudly as Namine, Kairi and Xion wiped each other's tears away and held onto each other with smile on their faces.
"However…. If any boy out there thinks they are worth any of my daughter's hand in marriage they got another thing coming!" Kushina warned as her eyes seemed to hollow out and her long red hair seemed to hover and resemble tails as they waved threateningly.
Every man gulped and took a step back with even Naruto and Minato seemingly nervous at Kushina's threat. Meanwhile Kairi, Xion and Namine blushed at the concern but gave Naruto a look of longing.
'Sheesh Kairi's mother sure is scary and ironically the only person that she wants is her brother who for all we know is her mother only choice to be 'worthy' of her.' Lea thought with a sweatdrop.
"Hehe I am sure they would love to have met you both as well. It wasn't for very long but having met the chakra versions of you and even fighting alongside Dad as a Reincarnated Edo Tensei Ninja were some of the happiest moments of my life. Knowing that my parents actually loved me and cared so much for me filled my heart with love." Naruto admitted as Kushina and Minato eyes grew watery at his declaration.
Namine put a hand on her heart as she alone could feel exactly how Naruto felt.
'This warmth…. So, this is a parents love and pride… I can see why Naruto craved it so much.' Namine thought as Xion and Kairi looked at her with slight surprise at how passionate her voice sounded.
'Namine…' Roxas looked at her with concern as Namine shook her head with a sad smile.
'It's okay… Thanks Roxas." Namine replied warmly as Roxas looked at her for a moment before nodding. Riku also looked like he wanted to say something but just nodded his head.
Naruto stepped back from his parents as he looked down biting his lip like he was gathering courage to say something.
"Naruto? What is it? You can tell us anything ya know!" Kushina asked cheerfully making Naruto look up briefly before looking down.
"You're our son Naruto. No matter what you have to say we will always love you just as we love our other children as well." Minato assured him unintentionally making his daughter hiccup with joy at his words and love shining through.
"…. Can I stay here with you both?" Naruto asked quietly but with his sincerity and honestly clearly shining through his tone.
Kurama nodded his head as everyone else looked at Naruto in shock and surprise. Natsumi however bit her lip as she placed her hand over hand.
'So Naruto really does feel that way huh… Like his life or rather the price of living isn't worth it anymore.' Natsumi thought sadly as the Guardians of Light looked shocked to their core at Natsumi's assessment.
"Naruto? You do realize this is the pretty much the afterlife right? Staying here with us means you are willing to give up on living!" Kushina asked him passionately as she looked at him with concern.
Naruto looked at his mother with his eyes full of sadness as he nodded.
"I know what It means Kaa-chan… but can you blame me for wanting to stay here with you both?" Naruto asked as Kushina and Minato had tears in their eyes.
"Naruto… You have so much to live for…. You should know what better then anyone else how much everyone needs you to be alive and living!" Minato insisted as Kairi nodded her head furiously.
Naruto looked up angrily with tears at the edges of his blue eyes making his parents look at him with sadness.
"Isn't that the issue here though? Everyone needs me! You gotta strong Naruto! You gotta save us Naruto! Please help us Naruto! Come here Naruto! It's always about how I can help everyone us huh?" Naruto sneered with his hands clenched in frustration.
"Naruto… We didn't mean…" Kushina tried to tell him but he shook his head.
"You might not think that is what is happening but it is! Everywhere I go they need a savious but has anyone ever asked what I want? What Naruto needs? Huh? Maybe I don't want to be alone anymore! Maybe I don't want to go back to Konoha!" Naruto shouted as tears ran down his cheeks. His sisters gasped in guilt and terror.
'Is that what he thinks? That he is only valuable to everyone else but nobody cares what he thinks?' Aqua asked as everyone was shaken to their core at the thought.
"Maybe I have sacrificed enough and being here with you and Dad is my reward and happy ending?" Naruto asked desperately as his mother and father wrapped him in their arms as tears continued to run down his face.
"Maybe I just don't anything else to give to people and I just want to be here where I am not having to wear a mask and be happy for everyone else sake…?" Naruto asked sadly as Natsumi looked like she wanted to reach out to him but Kurama shook his head showing it would not matter.
"Mom, Dad…. After seeing everything I had to go through can you honestly judge me for not wanting to go back? Back to the empty apartment showing that after everything I have done for everyone else, I am still… alone?" Naruto asked as he panted in exhaustion.
Kushina gently rubbed away Naruto's tear as he rubbed his cheeks against her warm hands enjoying the love of mother, he only briefly enjoyed from the Chakra she left inside of his seal.
"Naruto… My baby boy… You know I love you so much there isn't enough words to describe it. So I could never judge or mock you choices." Kushina assured him warmly as Minato nodded placing a hand on Naruto's spikey hair as Naruto smiled at them both.
The guardians of Light couldn't help but smile at the heartwarming scene between son and mother. Luxord had a small smile along with Saix while Ansem Seeker of Darkness and Xenmas couldn't help but look affected by the love. While Strelitzia beamed up making Marluxia and Larxene smile. Natsumi and Kurama looked at each other before Natsumi continued her look of longing at an alternate version of her parents as well.
"Naruto… All we ask if for you to consider it very carefully. We understand if you want to stay here and if you do we will stay here with you forever." Minato assured him before Kushina nodded taking over.
"If you don't think people need you that is on everyone else for being selfish! However, if you choose to be here what about your sisters? Surely you don't think they don't need you?" Kushina yelled the first part before her voice grew soft with concern what talking about her daughters.
Naruto looked to the side as he took a deep sigh.
"I can feel that Kurama is still keeping my body alive even if my soul is on this side. That means he can finish the Keyblade War and earn the peace and security the Guardians of Light need. There won't be any more wars for them to fight afterward. They can be happy and go back to their homes." Naruto stated firmly as Kairi looked ready to say something.
"What if you staying here makes them unhappy? What if they want to you to live with them?" Minato asked as Naruto's expression grew sad once again.
"Why would they choose to be with me in Konoha? If everyone else leaves at the end of the day why wouldn't they? Especially as they have homes to return to. Kairi has the Destiny Islands, Xion and Namine have twilight Twon and I have an empty house to return to. The most I have going for me is Hinata and even she has another family she to worry about." Naruto stated as he gave a depressed smile.
Kairi, Xion and Namine looked at Naruto with wide eyes.
'Naruto! I….! You don't have to…!' Kairi started but couldn't bring herself to say she would leave Destiny Island to live with him in Konoha, Xion and Namine bit their lips but also seemingly could not say the words either.
Sora and Riku gave Kairi a guilty look knowing that growing up on Destiny Island was likely the reason she was unable to commit to her home world.
"See Naruto is making his choice and can you honestly blame him for choosing a world of happiness with people who do love him unconditionally? Rather than a world of living as the Saviour? Where his happiness is never the first priority?" Kurama asked gesturing to Natsumi and the Guardians of Light.
Despite their best efforts nobody could make a response as Natsumi even nodded her head in agreement.
'I know… I can't take this away from him even if I want him to live. This might actually be what he deserves after everything he has done for everyone…" Natsumi admitted sadly as Kurama raised his hand.
Before Kurama could snap his fingers Naruto looked up again with a sad smile.
"However, despite all of this I still want to go back." Naruto stated as Minato and Kushina looked at him in surprise.
"Naruto? Are you sure? We are honouring whatever choices you will make. Even if you do go back we will be watching over you forever." Kushina promised him as Naruto nodded as he wiped the last traces of his tears from his eyes.
Naruto gave a giant hug to Kushina and Minato even burying his nose into Kushina hair as if to memorize this love.
"Don't get me wrong. This is what I wanted for so long. To be here with you both and I even had a small time with Jiraiya-sensei, Neji, Asuma-Sensei, the Previous Hokage and being able to talk with our dead friends." Naruto revealed showing before they arrived he had chatted with other previous dead souls.
"But…. I still want to protect everyone and be there when my sisters get their happy endings. Even if they choose someone else or not to be there with me at the end I still want them to be happy." Naruto admitted with a smile.
Kushina and Minato couldn't have looked prouder as they hugged their son one last time. Kurama raised an eyebrow before nodding to Natsumi who blinked tears of joy. Naruto's sisters cried again at his declaration while Aqua looked at Naruto with pride in his eyes.
'He has the heart of a True Keyblade Master even without the X-blade.' Aqua declared as Ventus nodded his agreement along with Riku and Mickey.
"Fine you made your point. I will send us back and you can revive Naruto. No matter what I think I will aways put Naruto first. If he wants to return to play here then I will support him like I have always done." Kurama admitted sourly before snapping his finger.
Everyone seemed to return to the Keyblade Graveyard as Kurama rolled his eyes when Natsumi gave him a teasing smile.
"No go to sleep to Kurama. You do not need to be awake or in control for this part." Natsumi claimed as Kurama nodded.
Suddenly Naruto's body went limp as Kurama's traits like the claw like fingernails, thicker whisker markings and slitted red eyes vanished as Naruto dropped to his knees unconscious again. Before Kurama relinquished control though Kurama appeared to heal the damage from the Kido and his Zanpaktou on his feet.
"Now Naruto. Time to wake up for all the people for love you… Including me of course hehe Dattebane!" Natsumi told Naruto using the verbal tick she shared with their mother. Natsumi had caught Naruto and held him in her arms.
She gazed down at Naruto's sleeping face with a sweet smile.
"How is she going to wake him? Using some sort of spell or chakra ability? Oh, I guess we can talk normally now." Roxas wondered to himself.
"Hehe. I am not one to talk but I feel these guys will have to shy their little innocent eyes." Natsumi smirked before she bent down to be nearly eye level with Naruto.
There was silence all across the Keyblade Graveyard as everyone jaw dropped comically at the same time. Natsumi placed her lips against Naruto's stealing kiss as one of her hands was on Naruto's to hold him close and the other was caressing his cheek.
"She is kissing him?!" Kairi, Namine and Xion hissed in shock and anger as they all looked like angry cats.
"Wait! Something is transferring from her into Naruto from the point of contact!" Riku noted as everyone focused on the red chakra which flickered into yellow and orange going from Natsumi into Naruto.
After a minute Natsumi pulled back with a pant as she looked slightly exhausted. She licked her lips showing she enjoyed her impromptu kiss with Naruto.
"Is that enough Naruto? Can you just wake up and come back already?" Natsumi panted before Naruto's hand holding onto Natsumi twitched and Naruto eyes suddenly opened.
"I am overflowing with power!" Naruto declared as he pulled Natsumi onto her feet and moved his hand from her hand to her waist.
There was a sudden burst of orange chakra that seemed to reach the heavens themselves coming from Naruto and Natsumi in the form of a massive beam. After a few seconds the chakra receded showing a healthy looking Natsumi and Naruto with Natsumi head on his shoulder smugly.
"Thanks, Natsumi…. You brought me back… I am okay because of you…." Naruto thanked her warmly as his smile was specifically warm for his counterpart.
Natsumi just gave a happy groan as she nuzzled into his warmth.
"Of course, my love. Although I think there are prudes out there who might think the love we have is a sin. We are a living contradiction after all." Natsumi joked as Naruto closed his eyes.
"If there is anyone who won't accept us for who we are… then I will create a new world and they won't be invited in it." Naruto stated as he opened his eyes. He quickly grabbed his sheathed Zanpaktou and pulled it out. With a single swipe of his sword there was a massive shockwave of dust and sand showing his resolve.
Natsumi resisted the urge to sworn at his declaration finding it amusing as his sisters were middle of gaping and glaring at her in jealously. Natsumi did notice the fear in the majority of the Guardians of Light and Seekers of Darkness making her raise an eyebrow. She looked at Naruto in the eyes and then she understood.
"Ah I see you activated your Mangekyou Sharingan unconsciously and even activated it in its original form Naruto. I can see how people are abit unnerved those eyes naturally pretty intimating." Natsumi noted as Naruto blinked. AN4:
Naruto's Mangekyou Sharingan manifested in the form of a triangle in each eye, in the center of the triangle was an upside triangle with the inner triangle black with the rest of the eye red. AN5: Whenever the Mangekyou Sharingan spun both triangles in his eyes would spin creating a mesmorizing effect.
"Sorry. I suppose I got abit worked up. Things in the afterlife was honestly pretty calming. Getting to see them as sad as it was made me happy. Having to say goodbye again makes it hard to say calm and focused. My chakra must have reacted to my emotions." Naruto admitted as Natsumi nodded but her eyes grew soft for a moment.
'So, he wasn't aware we were watching him in the last couple of minutes. He is still trying to protect Kairi and everyone here from his innermost thoughts. He isn't expressing him correctly and that will only damage his mental health in the long run.' Natsumi thought sadly.
Unseen to other Namine grew an understanding expression as she briefly placed a hand over her own heart.
'Brother… He is trying to put on a smile even when he feels nothing but sadness and loneliness. Just as I was in the castle and Twilight Town… No matter what he thinks I will at the very least make it up to him. He doesn't think we will choose him but he's wrong. I would choose him over any world.' Namine declared silently to herself.
'Unlike Xion and Kairi I have been truly alone like Naruto has… Xion always had Roxas and Axel while Kairi always had Sora and Riku… Who did we have?' Namine thought bitterly before her eyes returned to their concern look.
While the Guardians of Light were cheering on Naruto's return and the Seekers of Darkness were grumbling about his return. Naruto looked at his Zanpaktou seemingly just realizing it was in fact in his hand as he deactivated his Mangekyou Sharingan returning them back to their natural blue state.
"Huh I guess Kurama must have summoned you to my body while I was… asleep… She feels abit annoyed to not have enough action recently. Sorry that I can't give you the thrill of battle all the time." Naruto apologized speaking directly to his Zanpaktou.
"Um is he talking to his sword like it's a person? I get it must have some sort of magical properties appearing out of nowhere but?" Goofy asked Mickey who blinked and shrugged his shoulders.
Naruto seemed to have heard him as he turned to Goofy and Mickey with an amused smile.
"Sorry. This is my Zanpaktou. She has a name and a personality as she was made from my soul itself. Think of it in the same way as all Keyblades and unique to their wielder an even has a manifested form but that is only visible when she chooses to manifest herself. She isn't just a sword." Naruto claified as the blade seemed to glow for a moment.
"Do you want to say hello?" Naruto asked his Zanpaktou and took a moment seemingly to listen.
"I guess not. Maybe later when there is a fight. She might super kind but it comes to a fight to protect what needs to be protected she is the first one to put herself on the line. I guess that's pretty much the same as me." Naruto mused as he notably looked at Natsumi, Kairi, Namine and Xion as he said 'protect' making them blush at the implications.
Naruto turned to Natsumi after placing his Zanpaktou back into her sheathe. Naruto chuckled seemingly at something his Zanpaktou said or did.
"I know you are the best for being there for me but this is about Natsumi. Don't pout or grumble. Hey it's your fault for not wanting your name to be spoken 'so casually in front of people I don't trust' that I don't say it in public!" Naruto retorted to his Zanpaktou as it seemed to shake in her sheathe before stopping seemingly agreeing with Naruto.
Donald gestured to Sora who took a knee so he could be at eye level with the much shorter duck.
"Uh Sora? Can I ask you something as your pal." Donald asked Sora hesitantly who blinked but nodded.
"Anything pal." Sora replied warmly as Donald looked around several times.
"Uh… Have you ever talked to your Keyblade like it is talking to you?" Donald asked as Sora jaw dropped and he shook his head several times.
"No! Kingdom Key is always with me but I don't talk to it!" Sora insisted while Donald looked at him for a moment before nodding his head solemnly.
"Good good good… Just wanted to check…" Donald mumbled as Sora gave him an incredulous look.
'I think its kinda sweet… Considering there are hearts all around us I don't think its that insane that his sword might have a heart of its own. Naruto does keep calling the sword 'her'.' Namine thought with a smile.
Natsumi was about to say something before she and Naruto did a blackflip away. Where they were standing was a series of Fireballs. The Guardians of Light looked over in surprise only to see hundreds of Heartless, Nobodies and Unversed in a giant army.
"Enough! If you want to be all lovey dovey then go back to your own world and leave this one! If you want o continue to make me want to vomit then you are going to have to do it over them!" Xigbar shouted in disgust along with Young Xehanort, Terra-Nort and Vanitas.
"I couldn't have said it better myself. This entire thing of love makes me want to puke and the fact you are so desperate you need to find love in another version of you makes me want to laugh in pity!" Vanitas declared as Strelitzia, Namine, Xion and Natsumi gave him a look of absolute disgust.
"You freak! You should keep your mouth closed before we close it for you!" Aqua retorted as she and Ventus glared at Vanitas and Terra-Nort.
"Oh, so sorry Master Aqua. Did that hurt your little feelings?" Vanitas asked mockingly as Terra-Nort gave them a superior smirk making them angrier he was still using Terra's body for that.
All the sudden everyone turned around to when they heard a loud screeching sound and massive amount of wind. Suddenly two massive Shuriken like balls of chakra flew towards the army of Heartless, Nobodies and Unversed. Everyone had to cover their ears as the shuriken exploded in a very massive explosion of yellow chakra. The explosion lasted for almost a half a minute before everyone jaw dropped. It seemed the explosion had wiped out several hundreds of Heartless, Nobodies and Unversed at once.
"Sorry to interrupt but we thought we would even the numbers a bit. It seems our Wind Release: Rasen-Shuriken wiped out quite a few of them huh Naruto?" Natsumi asked as she blew on her hand as if to prove she shot one of the shuriken.
"Heh. Sure, Did Natsumi-chan. It felt nice to give a show before we got this started. I keep forgetting how destructive the Rasen-Shuriken is." Naruto added as he bumped his shoulder against Natsumi as they shared identical Cheshire cat-like smiles between the two of them.
"That is incredible they can use so much energy at once and even throw it. It should be too dense to leave their hands and they are not even exhausted from using all that energy at once. They truly are something else." Master Xehanort noted with an impressed raise of his eyebrows.
"Brother! Natsumi!" Xion cried out as Naruto and Natsumi turned to the Guardians of Light.
"Don't worry we got this! Together there isn't anything we can't take care of!" Natsumi declared along with Naruto. Natsumi's blue eyes shone as Naruto's Rinnegan with its Tomoe spun as they stood side to side.
AN2: Kurama is referencing to Naruto using Dust Release to vaporize Code completely in The Ninja Saviour Saves Boruto from his future story chapter 4. Naruto knew it would not be possible to change Code as he was an 'Otsutsuki obsessed idiot' and would happily let countless worlds be consumed by God Trees to produce Chakra Fruit.
AN3: This is the main explanation why Naruto in Kairi Uzumaki seems to be rather perfect and rather positive. This is the face he is allowing to show up this point and the face Kurama notes he is molding so they don't worry about him.
AN4: Another reference to Ninja Saviour Saves Boruto from his future story where Naruto's Mangekyou Sharingan appeared in the same shape as Obito's in both eyes (where it had Kamui and other Mangekyou Sharingan abilities). This shape right now is the form it 'naturally' takes although Naruto can shape it into other forms unlike other Mangekyou Sharingan users due to his unique powers.
AN5: Think the shape of the Triforce from Legend of Zelda series but being black and red instead of golden triangles.
