Chapter 1 – A Whisper Through Time

It was a quiet Sunday morning.

A cozy home stood on a 1000 sqm patch of green, tucked just outside the city — solar panels on the roof, a smart home system that answered to "Alexa," and two lovable huskies, Chucky and Cookie, who were playing in the backyard with 5-year-old Lia.

Inside, Mira stirred pancake batter while Alex adjusted a few settings on the security app. Just another day — until the air shifted.

The breeze grew still. The birds paused. Even the dogs tilted their heads.

And then, in a blink, the world changed.

The sky darkened then brightened again — like passing through a tunnel of light. And when they stepped outside…

The city skyline was gone.

The world was now open, wild, and ancient.

Rolling hills stretched into the distance. A dusty path wound through the nearby fields. And walking down that path was a group of men in simple robes.

At the center of the group was a man with peace in His stride.

It was Lia who saw Him first. She pointed. "Jesus!"

The couple froze.

Jesus approached their strange-looking home with calm curiosity.

"Shalom," He said with a warm smile. "Good couple, My friends and I have traveled far. May we seek shelter for the night to come?"

The disciples followed behind, eyes wide as they took in the strange windows, the smooth stone path, the lights inside the home, the two playful beasts, and the family dressed in clean, soft fabrics that made no sense.

The couple — overwhelmed, speechless — simply nodded.

And so, the disciples of Jesus entered a smart home in the 21st century… though they didn't know it.

Chapter 2 – Among Them

Dinner was unlike any they'd known.

Simon the Zealot nearly dropped the salt shaker. John cautiously opened the fridge and gasped at the cold air. Peter asked if the microwave was some sort of furnace. Cookie barked every time Alexa responded, and when it said "Good evening," James nearly fell over.

"Who is this woman?" Thomas asked, looking around wildly.

"Her name is Alexa," Alex replied, trying not to laugh.

"Invisible servant?" Bartholomew whispered. "Is she… a prophetess?"

"Alexa, who is Jesus Christ?" Mira asked with a grin.

Alexa replied in her gentle voice: "Jesus Christ is the central figure of Christianity, believed to be the Son of God."

The disciples went silent.

"She knows Him!" exclaimed Andrew.

"Then why is she in a box?" James muttered.

Jesus chuckled softly.

"Even in their time, truth speaks in strange ways."

Chucky suddenly jumped onto the couch, startling Simon Peter, who fell backward.

"The beast has claimed the seat of honor!" he cried.

Lia giggled uncontrollably, petting Cookie who rolled on the floor demanding belly rubs.

Later that evening, Jesus sat outside with Alex while Mira tucked Lia into bed.

"Why us?" Alex asked.

Jesus looked toward the heavens.

"Because you are part of the story. And stories echo."

Chapter 3 – Eyes That See

The next morning, Jesus sat at the dining table with a warm drink. Lia climbed up opposite Him, her bunny tucked under her arm.

"Jesus?" she asked. "How come people don't see you now? But I saw you."

Jesus smiled.

"Because some things," He said gently, "are seen not with the eyes… but with the heart."

"Like love?" she asked.

"Yes. Like love. And faith."

She leaned in closer and whispered, "Do you like pancakes?"

Jesus nodded with a grin. "Very much."

Lia giggled and ran to the kitchen. "Mommy! Jesus wants pancakes!"

He looked to His disciples, now gathered around.

"There will come a time when the world grows loud — when truth is traded for noise. But in that time, faith will shine brightest."

Peter asked, "But what does all this mean? This family? This house?"

Jesus stood.

"They are the fruit of your mission."

"They believe… because one day, you said yes."

Silence fell over the group. Not heavy — but holy.

Then Jesus turned to the family. Mira, Alex, and little Lia.

He placed a hand on their shoulders and prayed:

"Father… bless this house."

"Let peace never leave its walls."

"Let love be its shield, truth its foundation, and wonder its doorway."

"Protect this child. May she grow like a tree beside living water."

"And when the world grows dark… let their light shine brighter."

A wind stirred.

The family blinked… and they were back in their home.

Everything was the same. But everything had changed.

Chapter 4 – The Ripple

In the past…

Jesus sat with His disciples beneath a fig tree.

"You've seen the end," He told them. "Now… let's go and begin."

Peter whispered, "It was real, wasn't it?"

Jesus smiled. "It is."

John whispered, "Do you think their little girl was an angel?"

Matthew smiled. "She had the joy of one."

Their mission now burned brighter.

They had seen the future — and the future believed.

In the present…

Alex stood at the window. Mira watered the garden. Lia planted seeds beside her.

Lia looked up. "Are these gonna grow like Jesus said I will?"

Mira smiled. "Yes, baby. Strong and full of light."

Later that evening, a small crayon drawing appeared on Lia's wall: Jesus and His disciples at the table.

Above it, written in uneven handwriting:

"He is always near."

Final Scene: Two Fires

That night, Jesus sat with His disciples near a fire.

At the same moment, Alex lit a candle on the table.

Miles and centuries apart — but one in spirit.

The light was still shining.

The story was still unfolding.

The End — or maybe… just the beginning.

John 20:29

"Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

Hebrews 13:2

"Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it."

"Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you…"
