"Annabeth, did you tell Rachel about my instagram account?" Percy asked as he returned to their apartment after his social media class. He was not expecting to get the amount of attention he was—his classmates were lucky to get a couple of comments per post. Rachel Elizabeth Dare (and her 2.8 million followers) were the only possible explanation.

"You're working so hard on it, I thought it deserved to be appreciated."

"It's because I dragged you to the beach and left you alone while I took pictures of sea life, isn't it?"

"It's absolutely because you abandoned me on the beach to go talk to fish, Seaweed Brain."

"Did you put her up to the otters too?"

"That was all her. She did some fundraiser thing at the zoo, and the zookeepers told her that the otters were the scariest animal by far."

"They weren't wrong. Sharks are sweethearts compared to them."

"Why did you pick the name "Son of Neptune, anyway? Are you officially going Roman?"

"I had ten minutes to come up with something, I wasn't going to use my real name, and Seaweed Brain is reserved for you. Half the people here call me 'Son of Neptune' anyway, so I figured I might as well." Percy smiled lovingly at Annabeth. It was even mostly sincere.

"That's so sweet. I'll tell Rachel not to ask about jellyfish like she planned."

"Oh thank Hestia."
