Pokemon who were abandon by their trainers, are being given to Ash ketchum, a 14 year old who is just starting his pokemon journey! 45. Chapter 45

Authors Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon. Hey everyone sorry for the long update, allergies ar ehitting me like a truck and had been sick for almost an entirety of MArch, thus why there hasn't been much updates grom me as of late. But am feeling better and finally getting back to writing. Ypdates will still slightly be slow, as I am currently taking classes for Video game programming and whatnot and, am hhoping to someday be able to make and create my own games.

Anyway, this chapter will be well it speaks for itself honestly but, I wanted to go a little bit deep dive into Leaf's character and show slash reveal a bit more about her character in this chapter and such. Along with making references to what she, Robert and Misty has been doing on their half of their travels through Kanto. Considering expanding the world is what story telling should do and expain at least, what the other characters are up to and whatnot. And...well, not entirely focus on a single character all that much. Especially if it doesn't do much world building and whatnot if that make sense?

Anyway the next chapter will be Jolteon and vaporeon chapter I been foreshadowing as of late and then, probably the next chapter will go and have a Lemon with Ash and Lopunny. Considering I hinted that in the Rescue egg chapter. Then I will have Ash and crew return to Pallet town and from ther eon, probably have a chapter with Ash fighting the eighth gym badge...but still contemplating of who I should have him fight? To then one chapter of Robert, Leaf and Misty heading back to Cerulean city to do the Misty mermaid episode, and then form there on out- will be the Pokemon league.

So until then, I hope you all look forward to these updates and have fun reading. This story has officially gone past the number of chapters and word length of my "Hanyuo Naruto and his vixen" story. This story alone is my first and so far only story, that is the longest written fanfic I have ever written. Gonna feel weird when I finish this story lol. Anyway enjoy and hope you all have fun reading.

I apologize if there are any spelling errors, for some reason as of late. Google docs is not catching the spelling errors and believing them to be spelled correctly. Its starting to get a little annoying now, especially doesn't help with my one eye that I can only see right now. Makes it tougher to find and spot mistakes.

Chapter 45: Battle of the Princesses!

It is early the next morning as we see our heroes walking along the route leading into the next city. The next town is bustling and brimming with excitement and abundance of mobs everywhere. Has our four heroes staring confusingly at the large crowd of women of all ages rushing about and entering stores and businesses. Creating somewhat\at mass hysteria and mayyhen\m. This had all of them staring at one another and shrugging to each other as Ash faced forward and crossed his arms asking, "What's with the hysteria and why is everyone acting so crazy and feral?" This got Pikachu to tilt his head and twitch his ears, considering the Pokemon himself was confused as well.

This had Robert looking around and spotted some of the banners and posters that were hanging up and placed on some of the building's walls. "Maybe it has something to do with their sales?" Robert said, having Eevee who is curled around his neck. To lightly squeak and wag his tail staring at the billboards and signs. "Seventy percent off of clothing and such? 90% off of Groceries and Pokemon items, to fifty percent off traveling gear as well?" The blue-haired teenager read out from the signs, then turned to Ash and the girls. "Seems like it's a blow out sale today."

Leaf nodded in excitement and raised her right arm up and opened her hand, "I'll say! We should definitely take advantage of this sale. Since we're running low on supplies and such." She smiled and then turned her head over to Misty, "what do you think Misty-: Though paused and blink her eyes when she saw the girl wasn't next to them. "Where did she go?" The brunette asked and all three of them began turning, testing and tilting their bodies to try and find Misty among the insane mob of women everywhere, as Eevee and Pikachu happily climbed on top of their trainer's head and helped in looking for the girl. To then Eevee smiling and tapping his paw on Robert's head.

"Evoi!" Eevee squeaked out and had Robert shift his eyes upwards at Eevee, who then proceeded to point its paw outwards in the direction of where Misty went. "Eevee, evoi!" He chanted out and had everyone face the direction and saw Misty standing in front of a billboard sign and seemingly hammered by it. "Ah there she is," Robert said and all three of them began heading over towards the girl. Making sure not to be trampled or elbowed by the different women that were surrounding the areas and buildings around them. "Misty what's up, did something catch your attention with this sign?" Robert then paused and stared at the sign, tilting his bill of his hat upwards and reading it, " 'Princess day, a celebration for all ladies in the world and everything and anything are half off, sliced or super cheap for them to buy and purchase at any stores.' Huh, what's princess day?"

This had Misty's eyes widening and quickly spun around at Robert, who stepped back and watched Misty lean close. "What's princess day!? It's the most important holiday to ever exist!" She exclaimed and then leaned back and clasped her hands in front of her yellow tank top and overall straps. "A day where all sorts of ladies and girls are treated like royalty and able to go out and spend the entire day, for one day only. To buy and purchase anything and everything that they truly desire! Where everyone, and I mean everyone is treated as such, making you feel like a true Princess!"

Ash hummed and crossed his arms and shook his head, "why do I feel like it's just a marketing ploy. To have girls go out and spend money without rationalizing or thinking ahead of time. Forcing them to purchase things they don't-" He then let out a yelp as Misty pulled out a fan from her pocket and slapped it across Ash's face, causing him to stagger backwards to then quickly catch himself. Placing a hand on his cheek and shouts, "HEY! What was that for!"

"For being a guy who doesn't or wouldn't understand what princess day is about!" Misty argues back and humphs while Ash deadpans and then goes pointing to Robert.

"Bet he doesn't know about it." He retorted and saw Misty rolling her eyes and poke Ash forehead.

"Yeah but he wasn't being rude or crude about it." She retorted, making Ash stand there lightly and look at Robert who chuckled sheepishly. While shaking his head and figured to go ahead and say it anyway.

"I am in agreement with Ash here Misty, this seems just a trap to getting unexpected and clueless women to go and spend all their-" Thus the fan came out and slapped Robert's face this time. Making the boy to hiss and wince at the stinging sensation etching across his burning face, "It's true though. It's basically the company way of saying they care, when they actually don't care. And only see this day as a means of getting money, rather than actually treating ladies with respect. If you ask me." Though got interrupted when Misty huffed and shook her head.

"Like I said you two are guys, you wouldn't understand." She then smiled and faced Leaf, "But I bet Leaf understands right! You always look forward to-" Then a fan was slapped onto Misty's cheek and had the girl stagger back and widen her eyes at Leaf, who looked annoyed and frustrated. "The hell!?"

Leaf then crossed her arms and glared, "The two of them are right, Misty." She then just stares at the many women who were rushing, screaming and even tearing each other apart trying to get an item or dress and whatnot. "It's just some stupid and dumbass holiday to trick a demographic into thinking they matter." She stated coldly, having the three teens stare worryingly towards her as she didn't face or even look their way. She sighed and then said, "Let's just go and grab what we need and continue our way. I would rather not spend any more time here, listening to screeching banshee's who are acting like dumbasses over some stupid holiday."

This had the three stare at one another and then Ash and Misty turn their gazes towards Robert. Who hummed and saw Ash and Misty were looking at him, as if wanting some details or reasoning behind her behavior. "Err, well…that is to say um…" Robert looked up with an exasperated expression not liking being put on the spot. He then crossed one arm over his chest and raised one finger, "let's just say she had a bad history about this holiday." He said and the three saw Leaf beginning to walk and proceed to follow right after her. Making sure to move and slide their way through the bustling and crowded people everywhere. "You see, ten years ago when this holiday came. Her and her mother actually went to Celadon that year to go shopping and get Leaf a special treat and gifts that year." He began saying as the imagery played out through their heads and getting an idea how things worked out.

"And well considering how everyone is behaving right now, think of that in Celadon city but worst. Considering the Department store, the casino area and such? We're talking like about over 3, to probably 4 thousand people running and dashing everywhere. That Leaf as a young child back then. M\Actually got separated and even disappeared from her mother. That she…basically wandered about throughout the entirety of Celadon city alone and scared. With no one there to help her and such, not even her mother knew she even disappeared."

"Oh my goodness, that's horrible." Misty gasped out in shock and bewilderment, even Ash was bugged eye.

"No way, her mom actually didn't know she disappeared or separated from her?!" Asked the raven haired boy, as he and Misty turned to look at Leaf's back seeing how hard and intense her eyes were as she was trying to find a Pokemon center for them. No wonder she is very cold about this holiday." Said Ash, making Misty nod her head and then they look at Robert. "So, did Leaf ever get back together with her mom?"

"Yeah, did she?" Misty asked and then the two relaxed and though Robert shook his head, he did smile and told them how it was actually he and his mom who ran into Leaf and found her wandering alone and lost in Celadon city. "Wait, then that means?"

"Yeah, that's how me and Leaf first met each other." He explained and looked at Leaf as the two friends smiled and stared at her as well. "I spotted Leaf huddled in and near a garden area of Celadon city and asked if she was alright." He then chuckled. "Of course, she wouldn't really speak to me at first. Considering, I was a stranger but" He then got interrupted as Leaf sighed and smiled softly and weakly.

"But the idiot was so persistent and pushy that he grabbed my hand and took me right to his mother." Leaf spoke up and then stopped in her tracks and faced the trio. Seeing Pikachu and eevee smiling and wagging their tails. "If it wasn't for Robert finding me and taking me to his mother. I would've probably ended up as a lost child."

Leaf then sighs while rubbing her long hair and scratching the back of her neck. "That's why I hate this holiday whenever it comes. I can't exactly have good memories of it." She muttered out and then looked to the sides. "So, whenever it comes. I made sure to ask my mom if I could go and visit Robert's house and stay there, while she goes out and shopping on this stupid holiday."

Ash then nods and chuckles, "and since Robert's family comes from Unova at that time. They had no idea what Princess day was and didn't really go out shopping during those times. Because of how hectic and crazy it gets!" Snickered the boy, making Robert sigh and shake his head. "Well I am not wrong right?"

"No but you're not right either. As my mom does know what Princess day is…she just doesn't get into the hype like everyone else does…" Robert then paused and looked up in thought. "Well, minus Friday holiday sales and Christmas week however?" Robert hummed out and had the three laughing and shaking their heads. Misty, then smiled and looked at Leaf who looked back at her and saw the orange hair girl smiling to her and then brightened said smile.

"You know what Leaf, I think it's time you have a real proper princess day for yourself!" She giggled out and saw Leaf sighing and ready to retort. "No," Misty persisted while raising a hand. "You deserve one, and should see the greatness behind it." The girl then approached her and wrapped an arm around Leaf's shoulder and hugged her close. "We don't need to bother with the rush and craziness that these women are doing. Nah, we can have a normal and easy day celebrating it and making you feel special!"

Ash and Robert nodded in agreement, as Ash says. "Yeah why not Leaf! Sure us guys wouldn't understand it or look and seemingly have to pay the same prices. But, I think it will be good! Right Robert," Ash said and looked up at the boy who nodded in return and looked at Leaf.

"Yeah Leaf, give it a shot. Just because you had one very bad day of the holiday. Doesn't mean the rest of it will be bad," The blue hair teen said and saw Leaf, staring at him and ash to then towards Misty and shifted her gaze towards the sides. "What do you have to lose?"

"Besides my sanity?" Leaf joked and sighed seeing how she wasn't going to get out of this one anytime soon. "Alright, alright fine, fine. I'll do it." Then huffed and looked away. "Something tells me you guys are gonna push it onto me anyway without my consent." She chuckled out and felt Misty shaking her happily and excitingly. "But! One condition."

"What's that?" Misty asked and saw Leaf raising two fingers and pointing at Robert and Ash, along with their Pokemon. Making the gym leader to stare over at them and then smile when Leaf says.

"We will get these two the needed food and such without them having to pay the regular prices. I don't want them to go hungry or have to be forced to pay the regular expensive prices." Leaf said and had Misty nodding her head in agreement. It wouldn't be fair if the guys didn't have an enjoyable time.

"Agreed, then let's go everyone, let's give Leaf a good time!" Misty exclaimed and threw her hand up into the air. Having the guys nodding their heads, while Leaf groaned and weakly raised her hand into the air as well. Not really going to like this event whatsoever, can't erase what happened ten years ago and completely forget it in one day. But eh what can she do, her friends want to help her and why should she kill the mood for them? Might as well try her best to enjoy princess day anyway.

The first thing they will be doing is some clothes shopping, entering one of the many stores that has ravaging and rampaging women everywhere as they are struggling, fighting and tearing at one another to get that best price and sale of beautiful dresses, outfits and assembly that will look good on them. Luckily For Leaf and the others, they weren't in those sections of the stores and instead heading on over towards the Trainer's gear and such. There were plenty on sale for females, so it was a good deal for them considering they travel and such.

Misty hummed as she approached one of the clothes racks, gently grabbing onto some t-shirts and skirts before turning to Leaf. "so, what kind of style do you think will go for Leaf? This aquamarine sleeveless shirt will look beautiful for ya!" She exclaimed and giggled as she took it off the rack and showed it to her. "It will compliment your green eyes as well!" The gym leader said with a bright smile as Leaf turned to her and looked it over.

"Hmm looks a bit small, and I doubt it will do a good job basically covering my breasts and all ya know? If anything, It will show a lot of my underboob if I do purchase it." Leaf hummed and then saw Misty snickering and wiggling her brows.

"I know," This had Leaf humming and then almost burst into giggles realizing what Misty was implying. Making her grin and nodding her head catching on of WHY she wanted her to get it. "Though the mini-skirt may be too much for you right?" Misty added and saw Leaf nodding her head.

"Hey Leaf, how about this?" Ash called out as he wasn't much of a cloth shopper or know what girls like or want. But considering she is a Pokemon trainer? He figured she would like something like a long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt, "I am not good at these types of things. But maybe this tan sweatshirt will be good for ya?" He said and laughed when Pikachu poked his head out from the collar bone and let out a happy cha, making Leaf giggle and laugh at the electric mouse.

"Nice find, maybe it will compliment her with these sleek black and white pants." Robert said and showed Leaf the clothes, the brown hair girl chuckled as she saw her friends were at last having some fun finding some clothes for her to wear or have during her travels. This is what really matters and considering not a lot of people here are traveling trainers, it made shopping a lot easier.

"Yeah it probably will compliment the shirt, but I don't know. I don't want you guys to go overboard with this." she said and then smiled as Eevee ran up to her and carried a hat in his mouth, happily raising his front paws up onto her knees and trying to hand it over to her. "Aww, thanks eevee!" She said and took the sun hat from the Pokemon, petting him on the head.

"Like I said, we are going to make this fun for you and that's exactly what we're going to do." Misty smiled and grabbed some more clothes and such for Leaf to try on and wear. "Besides, the Pokemon league is in only a couple of weeks. Now it is best to start packing as much as possible for the big event. Especially clothes." Informed the gym leader considering that the Pokemon league rounds do last for a couple of days and sometime enters the night hours. Especially when reaching to the final eight battlers.

"Not only that but considering how long the road is to the Pokemon league?" Robert added as he grabbed some more clothes for Leaf to try on and wear as well as getting some modest clothes too. While Ash just seems to be looking at some of the hats and figuring to grab at least three of them for Leaf. The blue hair trainer walked over to Leaf, who smiled and happily took the clothes and placed them over her arm. "Might be a good idea to have spare clothes. Especially since we don't know if we will be able to wash our clothes at the league."

Ash hummed and thought it over, "If that is the case, then shouldn't we get some spare clothes too Robert?" The raven hair boy asked and snicker. "I know the priece for men is gonna be the same. But if what you and Misty say are true, then we should probably get some spare clothes as well."

Robert looks up in thought and nods with a grin, "Yeah good point Ash. You girls go ahead and head to the check out. Ash and I, with eevee and Pikachu, are going to grab some clothes of our own." He said and saw Leaf nodding though speaks up before they separated.

"Robert, will it be alright to have eevee with me? I don't mind my Pokemon, I enjoy being around him as he does remind me of you a lot." Giggle the girl as Eevee tilted his head and looked up at Robert. Who looks down at the fluffball and shrugs with a chuckle, as eevee happily bounces up and down in place and happily runs forward and climbs onto Leaf's shoulders. Having the girl laugh and gently scratch underneath eevee's chin.

"Sure thing, just behave yourself okay eevee? Don't give Leaf or Misty a hard time okay?" Robert told the Pokemon, who happily saluted his right paw at his trainer and smirked as Leaf happily nuzzled her cheek against his cheek. "Alright, you girls go ahead alright? Ash and I will be with ya in a minute." Thus with that they went ahead and separated for now, as Misty and Leaf began walking and heading on over to the check out of the store.

As they walk Misty let out a low hum and stared over towards Leaf, as she popped the question. "So, why did you want Robert's Eevee with you? Is something the matter?" She asked curiously and a little worried. But then smiled softly as Leaf gently shook her head as the girl looked at Misty with a soft smile.

"No real reason honestly, but I usually have eevee with me whenever Robert is not next to me or we go our separate ways in towns and such." Informed the girl as they walk through the shopping mall feeling eevee, happily wagging and brushing his tail up and down Leaf's head. Making her giggle and snicker, "in a sense you could say eevee is technically a support Pokemon for me. Ever since that incident at Lavender tower…"

Misty nods in understanding remembering how awful those events were for the three. Especially when Leaf had to watch Robert risk his life, alongside Ash too. "Right, and then that incident near the Power plant too- where we were walking along the Dark Tunnel, there was a landslide that separated all of us. Leaving you with eevee and trapped beneath some rubble and rocks nearly buried alive."

Eevee whined as he went and licked Leaf's cheek, knowing how upset and scared the girl was when that happened. He was the only Pokemon there who managed to keep her sane and not lose her cool, "Though doesn't Robert's eevee know dig?" Misty asked and this had the Pokemon lowering his ears and looking away sheepishly. As Leaf sighed and exhaled lightly but giggled and assured eevee he was fine.

"He does and still does, but eevee injured his leg at that time. So, he couldn't really use the move." She said and just nuzzled lightly on his face and looked at Misty. "Anyway, sorry about that, today is supposed to be good and fun right? I am sorry that I am dampening the mood." Leaf saud while apologizing for killing the mood. Misty happily shook her head and assured Leaf she was fine.

"Nah your good Leaf, I was the one who asked the question." Giggled the girl and saw that they were approaching the counter soon. "Besides, I know what it's like to have a support Pokemon with ya. Especially when you're feeling down or lonely." She said as the two continued approaching the counter as eevee happily wiggled about and hops off from Leaf's shoulders and landed on the counter. Making the receptionist smile and beam brightly at the two girls. "Anyway, I know we didn't have you trying these on in the changing room. But eh, something tells me you're not that type of girl."

"Nope, you got that right." Giggle Leaf as they placed the clothes down and waited for the clerk to go and ring up the prices of the clothes. Leaf then rested her elbow onto the counter and faced Misty. "By the way, how are your Pokemon doing anyway? Are they feeling alright and good, I know there hasn't been a lot of chances to have them in water and such?" Asked the curious girl. Watching Mist nodding her head and crossing one arm under her chests, while smiling.

"Oh they're doing fine! No worries," Then groaned annoyingly. "It's Psyduck who I am more concerned about." And like magic, the water type Pokemon burst out from its Pokeball and appeared before them and grabbed each side of its head.

"Pysduck!" It cheered and then yelped as Misty got infuriated and pounded a fist on top of the Pokemon's head! Causing Leaf to giggle and snicker at the antics of the Pokemon. Along with Misty getting infuriated at the Water types antics herself.

"Why do you always come out of your Pokeball, whenever your name is brought up! Get back inside!" Misty yelled out and grabbed Psyduck's Pokeball, facing it towards the water type and watching it tilt its head confusingly before being recalled and back inside the ball. "Ugh, I swear it's the only Pokemon in my team that annoys me." Misty muttered out and shook her head. Hearing Leaf snickering some more and calming down while saying.

"Well look at it this way? It's never a dull moment when the Pokemon is out." Said the brown hair girl, as she saw Misty sighing irritated but smiled. "I mean, it was hilarious seeing those bikers get shocked and surprised at Psyducks Psychic-like attacks." Though she leaned back and raised her hands in defense when Misty got close to her face.

"Please don't encourage this behavior. It was a nightmare when those biker gangs tried stopping us on Cycling road." She groaned out while shaking her head and placing a hand on her forehead. "I mean…it was good of them to help us when we needed to transfer the medicine to the Pokemon center. But, man were they annoying to deal with beforehand." She then threw her arms up and rested one elbow on the counter. "And do not get me started when Team Rocket was doing that breeding scandal as well."

This had Leaf nodding her head and sighing slightly, "Oh do I know that one." Then had a glint in her eyes as she then went and poke Misty on her right shoulder. "Although, who was it that tried to get rid of Psyduck at the time, only to then go and get it back in order to go and eat ALL the ice cream you wanted from the restaurant? Because of the chef's favorite-" She then paused and laughed when Misty glared at her and was ready to raise her voice but stopped.

"...Touche," Misty said and had both girls laughing and giggling having fond memories of their adventures together as they faced the clerk who was now bagging everything up for them and handing them over. "It's definitely going to feel lonely once the Pokemon league is over." Misty suddenly said having Leaf and eevee to hum and stare at her. Seeing her softening her eyes, "knowing my sisters? They probably are going to force me and have me watch over the Cerulean gym for a long time. Going on cruises and such without bringing me along or having me tag along with them."

"But didn't they say you were allowed to journey?" Leaf asked and saw Misty letting out a frustrated sigh. Shaking her head and shrugging her elbows slightly and face Leaf, seeing the girl softening her look.

"They will say one thing but then will say another thing the next moment. Yeah, they're allowing me to travel with you and Robert right now. But, once this Pokemon league ends and is over, It's back to…Misty watch the gym, Misty we need you to do shows for us, Misty take care of the Pokemon."

"Evoi…Vee?" Eevee chanted out asking if that's how and why they treated her like this so much over the years? Making Misty sigh and happily reach a hand out and rub Eevee's head. Having the brown fur Pokemon to sigh and happily nozzle against Misty's touch. Misty smiled and pulled her hand away and looked at Leaf.

"So, you think they will have you watch the gym once everything is over then?" Leaf asked and crossed her arms. "That doesn't seem very fair if you ask me. But then again," she then turned and received the bags and was ready to pay for the clothes. But the receptionist shook her hands saying they were free. But then leaned back and sweatdropped when Leaf glared and places her money on the counter either way and took the bags. Then faced Misty once more, "Considering how they seem to be more into performances than battling. I can probably understand a little bit of why they have you doing most of the work."

Misty nodded her head and groaned as she took her bags and she too paid for them. Making the receptionist sigh and shake her head, but oddly admiring the two girls for paying. "Yeah I guess so- I do Pokemon battles more than my sisters do. And train my water type Pokemon too, so..I guess it's understandable for them." Though got interrupted when Leaf raised a finger as Eevee hops onto her shoulders and curls lightly around the back of her neck and playfully brushes her hair a bit.

"I mean at least Daisy seems to be really caring towards ya than the other two." Leaf said and smiled. "Plus, if the Pokemon league starts up again here in Kanto. They have someone to watch over the gym." But then hummed and paused as she thought about it. "BUT- If I also recall, there are more than eight gyms in each region right? I mean, the rules don't state you need to fight gyms in any particular order right? Like," She raised a finger. "How Robert and I found a gym in Saffron city that wasn't Sabrina's gym and was filled with fighting type Pokemon. That's how we managed to get our fourth gym badge without needing to fight Sabrina."

"Oh?" Misty blinked her eyes and hummed, "Ya know always wondered at the time of regrouping with all of you how you manage to get a fourth badge without fighting the Psychic type gym?" She then laughed. "Well that explains a lot there. But…" she then widened her eyes and smiled as Leaf beamed.

"Which means you can easily have a vacation for a year or something from Gym duties and close the gym for the Pokemon league. And then come back to it anytime you're ready or need to do maintenance and such. Don't have to BE an active gym leader there per say. Or have one of the Nurse joys who qualified as caretakers for gym buildings too."

Rgus gadMisty laugh as Leaf brings up a good point, even seeing eevee happily squeaking out and nodding his head of how the girl could easily travel the world with them if she wanted too. All she needs is someone to watch over the gym and care for the Pokemon there. Or at least have them be sent to someone trustworthy.

"Heh you bring up a very good point, Leaf. I will think about it when this is all over." Misty said and smiled as the two girls then saw Robert and Ash coming back, looking to have found some clothes for themselves though not a whole lot. As they placed them on the counter and got it all paid and registered. "So then where shall we go next? To make Leaf's day better." Misty said with a smile as Ash and Robert turned and then lok to Leaf. who sighed and shook her head, seeing that they were still insisting on making this a good princess day for her.

"Wasn't there a movie you wanted to go and see Leaf? We could go and check if any of the theaters are showing any good action films." Robert suggested and saw her hum and looked up in thought. Having Ash to blink his eyes and look at Robert.

"Huh, Leaf is into action films?" Ash asked and then crossed his arms and pondered "Then again considering Leaf doesn't really behave like a regular girl, I guess that would make sense why you-" He then grunted and got hit over the head by a random fan from Misty, making him wince and look at her. "WHAT?!"

"Sometimes one should keep their mouth shut and not act stereotypical to others feelings." Misty growled out and saw him leering.

"I mean she acts like a Tomboy, what's wrong with saying that? I know her since she lives in the same town as me." He argued back, having Misty blink her eyes but still growled out.

"Still don't need to be insensitive about it ASH! Girls don't exactly take well from bad comments or remarks."

"Like you do…" Ash retorted and quickly raised his hands in defense as Misty glared harshly and ready to smack him over the head again as she said, "Says the one who currently has Female Pokemon in his team!"

This had Leaf chuckling lightly and trying hard not to burst into laughter at the two antics. Having Robert to shake his head and remarking, "Kind of reminds you of us when we were kids huh?" Robert chuckled out and had Leaf nodding her head.

"Yeah definitely brought back some memories. Of course though, you were mostly quiet and shy and kept to yourself. But" she then nudged his side. "I managed to finally get you out of your shell eventually."

This had Pikachu and eevee happily smiling and wagging their tails, seeing how Leaf is essentially already having a good time without needing to do activities and such by being with everyone. Once they had calmed down or rather, Misty and Ash calmed down from bickering towards one another, the four of them began heading out and decided to continue their day with Leaf and give and make it a special day for her.

The next thing they went and did was indeed to find a movie theater and see if they were showing anything or possibly airing any films Leaf hasn't seen yet or always wanted to see but couldn't. They were sticking together and staying as a tight group considering how crazy and wild everything was in the town. Especially with big sales and reduce prices were being shouted and spoken through loudspeakers and such. Nearly causing the four of them to be trampled or run over by groups of women of all ages, that were ready to run them down and or shoving them to the side.

This had Leaf huffing lightly as she crossed her arms and leers, "and this is why I don't like Princess day. People acting like wild pokemon, running off and shoving and pushing people out of the way as if these sales are dependent on their life." She shook her head "I just don't get the idea of behaving like lunatics over big sales and whatnot, especially when some of the items or things they purchase have no real value or meaning to buy them." She then threw her arms upwards and towards some people. to some people who were buying what appears to be random stuff, "I mean what purpose those things have for their house and such. Let alone if you're a traveling Pokemon trainer, what meaning do you even have for buying furniture!" She threw her hands upwards having the trio look to her and then at each other seeing the logic in that.

This had Misty nodding her head, "well, if you use the Pidgeot express you can send said furniture and such at home. But…yeah? You do bring up a good point." She mumbled and watched these people buying things that don't seem very useful or just buying them just to buy them. "I never realized how…predatory this day was and having people just buy things for the heck of it."

Robert chuckled,d "Well most people, not all of them." He assured Misty laughing and nodding her head. "Anyway we're not here for that reason. KLet's go and see…" he turned and stopped only to deadpan. "Or not…" he muttered, having the other three pondering what and why his mood suddenly changed as they looked ahead and like him, Misty, Ash and Leaf all deadpan and leer as well. Seeing what the screenings were advertising and airing in the theaters. "I…should've known."

This had Leaf groaning, "Seriously all of it is romance and drama movies?! Where's the action movies, here the adventure movies. They fall under those categories too." She threw her hands up and decided to march her way to a different street. "Forget it, let's just grab some items for our Pokemona nd get out of this stupid town. Obviously!" She shouted and raised her voice, "they don't know a thing or two about what people actually want and just…ugh."

"Leaf, wait, come on, don't be like that!" Misty shouted out to her and followed the girl, as ash and robert followed as well- making sure to have eevee and Pikachu on their shoulders when doing so, watching the brown hair girl marching and stomping her way over to a food stall and waiting in line with a pissed off look and expression. "I mean," Misty began saying as she reached behind Leaf. "Yeah it…not in your interest and such but you can't." She then flinched.

"Misty please try not to defend this fucking holiday okay?" Leaf said while whipping her head at Misty, causing her hair to flip up. "It's pointless to want me to enjoy it. I didn't enjoy it as a kid, and I am not gonna enjoy it now." She grumbled and faced forward. "I just want to buy a simple burger meal, grab some Pokemon items and get the hell out of here." Leaf huffed and growled out. "It's a pointless holiday and nothing ever comes good out of it. People are just gonna behave like lunatics, act mean around others and treat them like garbage. I don't care what anyone says or fucking employees putting on fake smiles and whatnot. They too are just here for the money and have no choice but to deal with lunacy all day."

This had the trio having somber expressions, seeing just how much this holiday affected her mood entirely and is lashing out on it and even though she wasn't being fair to some people…she does bring out a lot of good points about this particular day. "Right now…some kid or child is separated from their parents right now…scared and alone, not sure what to do and can't get any help or assistance from anyone. Because they are too blindsided or busy with these sales and such. That they get neglected…"

"...I see." Misty softened her gaze and smiled. "You're not just talking about yourself. You're worried about an actual kid being separated from their parents and getting lost…"Misty now understands. It's not that Leaf is mad about the holiday because of her experience…she's worried about a kid experiencing what she went through as a kid. "That…is a very good and honorable reason to be mad about this holiday." This had Ash and Robert smiling warmly at Leaf, seeing just how much she truly cares for others and not wanting them to experience what she went through as a kid. Robert got up to her and rested a hand on her shoulder, watching her quickly wiping her eyes.

"Hey it's alright Leaf, we understand now." Robert said and squeezed her shoulder in comfort. "Here we are being selfish and thinking that you're just..upset because you had a bad experience and wanting to make things good and better for ya. But…here we are, not realizing it goes further than just you not liking the holiday." He said and saw Leaf looking towards him and then shaking her head and sighing.

"It is not your guys fault nor are you being selfish. I appreciate it, don't worry I just," she sighed and walked forward in line as the people who were overheating these conversations were doing their best to hold in their emotions and not sniffle or cry of what they just heard. Some even went and grabbed their phones and called loved ones and friends, to check on them and see if they weren't in danger or having gotten lost during this whole mayhem of a holiday. "I just don't want kids to end up lost and scared like I was, I…don't know anymore." Leaf lowered her head. "Feels like I am just ruining the day for Misty now."

"Ruining this for me?" Misty scoffed and waved her hand, "Of course not! It feels like I am connecting with you even more and understanding ya even better Leaf." She grinned and happily placed her hands onto her own hips. "In fact, I actually admire this side of ya really. Seeing how much you truly care for others and whatnot and not thinking about yourself? We need more people like that in our world nowadays, especially on holidays like this."

Ash nodded and grinned brightly as he placed his hands on the back of his hea,d "Same here! I am starting to regret not being able to travel with you and Robert now, never knowing and getting to see how and what kind of troubles you went through. That I wish I could've been there and helping you guys out." chuckled the raven haired boy. "Then again…probably best if I not, or else you guys would have to deal with Team Rocket over and over."

This however got a laugh from both Leaf and Robert, "Oh trust us we already have our version of team rocket to deal with." They said at the same time, making Ash and Pikachu to blink their eyes and then began laughing as Misty added.

"Yeah, they have to deal with two known as Cassidy and Flinthook. Ever since their troublemaking days back in Viridian forest- and well…" Sehe then shivered and shook while grabbing onto herself. "Webbing me up with their bug…bug…bug…bug type Pokemon. From doing something dastardly in the woods. We have been running into them forever."

"Really?" Ash asked and saw Leaf and Robert nodding their heads and having ash whistling. "And here I thought Jessie and James were annoying, alongside Meowth?" He snicker as the four of them laugh and smile as they reach the food stall and make their orders. "Ya know, I say we should have a Pokemon battle." He suddenly exclaimed. "Nothing beats a good day but with a battle, to let out all the stress and frustration that's bubbling inside ya!"

This had Misty groaning and ready to retort but stop herself and thought it over. To then giggling, "actually ya know what? I think that is a great idea, I am itching to do some battling and letting out all this stress!" She giggled and looked at Leaf. "We can double team together and face off against Robert and Ash, to let out some steam but also get some experience for your Pokemon as well everyone!"

Robert smirk, "sounds good to me! Since the League is a couple weeks away from now, we should probably try and train our Pokemon and get them some battles going for the upcoming league." He then rolled his arm about, "not only that but since we got new Pokemon caught too. What better time to then help them gain experience and train them up."

This had Leaf widening her smirk, "Ash you just said the magic word. I will love to battle with everyone," she then pointed at Ash who smiled. "Especially since you too caught a lot of Pokemon right? They will need the training and experience for the Pokemon league right. Mawile I know was your recent capture, who else did you catch?"

Ash chuckled, "well some of them you guys won't believe but, I caught an Aerodactyl, Kabuto and Omanyte! Oh also a Pidgeot who saved me from the Aerodactyl too." He exclaimed seeing Robert, Misty and Leaf's expression going bug-eyed, including eevee who's mouth hangs open and then looks to each other and then back to Ash.. "Yup and here ya go proof." He went and dug out his Pokedex and opened it up and showed it towards the trio who leaned in and widened their eyes even further at the Pokeball symbol next to the Pokemon name. Indicating that ash does indeed own them.

"Oh wow that…that's incredible!" Leaf exclaimed and was just beyond shock of ash catching super rare Pokemon on his journey. "Do you have any of them with you right now?" She asked and saw him shaking his head. Making her tilt her head and smile when she lifted a finger and explained.

"Oak told me I should wait until he allowed Aerodactyl and the fossil Pookemon get used to being outside and such, let alone with other Pokemon. Considering who knows how long they were underground for and possibly awakened during the time Team rocket I encountered back near some mountains during a fossil excavation dig site."

Robert agreed, "Make sense, but still Aerodactyl, Omanyte, Kabuto- and on top of that a Pidgeot too? Talk about amazing catches my man." Robert laughed and clapped hands with Ash who smiled back. "So, who do you have with you right now?"

"Well I figured to give the girls some breaks from the journey. So, I swapped out most of them all back to Oak's lab, along with the baby Popplio to stay with Blaziken." He then crosses his arms and closes his eyes. "Right now, I have Nidoqueen, Meowsy, Mawile, Lilligant Pikachu and Ninty with me."

This had Misty nodding her head, "All good choices too- and good ideas. Allowing the other Pokemon to gain experience and growth is a good way to become a better trainer." She then clapped her hand. "Well then, we should go and battle and help Ash grow those Pokemon. What about you and Robert Leaf? Who do you have with you right now that needs experience?"

Leaf smiled, "well I do have a traded Pokemon that needs some experience and growth for battling. As well as my Clefaible and Florges needing more battle experience compared to my other Pokemon."

Robert nodded, "Besides Cinderace? I still need to give Furret some experience in battling, alongside Swellow and some other Pokemon I have caught who haven't gotten a chance to fight yet."

This had Ash smiling and nodding his head "then we can all train those Pokemon and mine, to gain experience and growth from our battles! It will be great, we can also learn how to use them and understand how to train them too- without needing to worry about using them out of the blue with a random trainer battle!"

Misty nodded and then looked at Leaf, "And seeing how excited Leaf is about that. I think that will be a great way to spend the rest of princess day for her. Helping her have fun with Pokemon battling, training and getting to know her Pokemon." She then smirks. "Not only that, but because she also has the 'Speech of Pokemon', we can have a better understanding of what our Pokemon prefer for type of battling or what kind of needs they want or want us to do to make them feel better."

"Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that." Leaf chuckled and bopped her head "We could've just done that from the start of the day and enjoy princess day learning what our Pokemon want to do and such, instead of trying to make my day feel good and accepting of the holiday."

Robert then laughed and playfully said, "then we should turn this day into Pokemon day for Leaf instead of Princess day." He chuckled and then crossed his arms. "Honestly, I am super curious about our Pokemon thoughts and such. Granted, we don't know if it's all Pokemon Leaf is able to understand, it might have limits like Vision of Pokemon and Heart of Pokemon."

"Right," Ash nodded. "Since I can only see certain species of Pokemon in humanoid form."

To which Robert added, "And for me, Heart of Pokemon only seems to work with small and human sized Pokemon."

Which Misty concluded, "we're not sure for Leaf, it's only specific Pokemon as well. We don't know if it's any size Pokemon, certain species of Pokemon, or type Pokemon." Explained the orange hair girl having Leaf nodding her head.

"Well, only one way to find out and that-" But before she could finish, a loud speaker interrupted her and the gang as the merchant who gone and made their foods, called out to them and had the children smiling and quickly grabbing their meals while then listening to the announcement coming from the loudspeaker. Surprising everyone of their big giant event that happens in the city every year on Princess day. Making the four hummed and listen intently at the announcement, along with blinking their eyes and Misty eyes suddenly going all starry eyed and sparkling when she heard it announced.

"TO WHICH FOR THOSE WHO ARE GOING TO COMPETE AND ENTER OUR CONTEST, WILL BE ABLE TO WIN THE FABULOUS PRIZES OF THIS YEAR REWARDS OF A POKEMON PRINCESS DOLL SET!"

"No way! They are giving out a Princess Doll set, that's incredible!" She exclaimed and nearly went excited about it. "I gotta enter, I need to get those doll sets!"

This had Leaf sighing and shaking her head "Please…just another scam to-" though Leaf paused and blinked her eyes open from the next thing that was being said.

"And for the other fabulous prize for winning the competition. We are also giving away a special prized Pokemon! Milotic!" Came the announcement and then Leaf eyes began going starry eyed and sparkling as she then pumped and arch her arms close to her chest and thrusted her head upwards.

"FUCK YEEEEAH! I ALWAYS WANTED TO CATCH A MILOTIC, BUT COULD NEVER FIND THAT BLASTED DMAN FEEBAS ANYWHERE!" Leaf announced, causing Robert and Ash to sweat drop as both she and Misty began having flames surrounding them. "I have to enter and win that Pokemon! Nothing else matters now, I NEED THAT POKEMON!"

This had Robert sighing and shook his head placing a hand onto his cheek as he took a sip of his soda, having eevee and Pikachu's ears lowering when he said. "So much for bonding time and forgetting about Princess day."

"Indeed…" Ash agreed numbly as he saw the two girls now clapping each other's hands and their burning spirit rising even higher. "Just be glad it's a cool day today, or else their furious passion will cook us alive."

"Yeah I'll say, glad we bought burn heals!" Robert snicker and before the two boys knew it. They got hit over the head hard and fast by both Leaf and Misty holding fans out of nowhere and humping and staring towards the city streets discussing how they should do this, while Ash and Robert had swirls in their eyes from the two girls attacking them. Gaining sympathy from Pikachu, who just sighs and shakes his head while Eevee gently poked and prodded Robert's cheek wondering if he was alright and licked his cheek.

"So whoever wins the competition, the other will give the one prize to one another?" Leaf asked while holding Misty hand competitively as her fire spirit rose to new heights and her green eyes looking itn Misty's green eyes.

"Hmm mm, even though I am a water type Trainer. And would really love to get the milotic, I can let it pass. Considering I want to shove it to my sister's face, when they see me winning a princess doll set of my own."

"It's agreed, when we meet each other at the end of the competition. We'll go all out!"

"Indeed! Wish you luck Leaf,"

"You too Misty!" Then they nodded and grabbed their bags and started heading to the direction of the competition with Leaf shouting. "Will you two stop lying down, we've got a competition to go and enter!" Exclaimed the brown hair girl, as Ash and Robert groaned and weakly responded that they would be right there. Having their Pookemon to chuckle at one another as Eavee says he never seen Robert this silly before. Making Pikachu sigh and shake his head, surprise of Eevee's naiveness.

""Welcome everyone to the annual princess day competition where everyone here can come and enjoy the show of fabulous and wonderful people of all females who can celebrate the festival with this grand event." Came the narrator as he stomps his foot onto the desk and pumps his arms. "This year's competition is definitely going to be a feisty one indeed. As we have trainers and locals from all over joining and attending our fine fair festival." He continues and then goes jumping off the counter and somehow begins moving and dressing up as different types of Pokemon. "These ladies must be beautiful and graceful like a Gardevoir," then switching up to that of Hatterene. "Sassy and prideful like a Hatterene." to then swaying and moving like a Gothetelle, "And boastful and flaunting like a Gothetelle, if they want to win and become number one in this competition!" He exclaimed and returned back to his usual attire and then thrust his arm forward.

"Now let us go and introduce our fine fair ladies who will be entering the competition." He exclaimed and had the curtains on the stage start slowly moving and opening up, revealing the competitors and trainers who will be attending and taking the competition. All dressed up in beautiful outfits, dresses and kimonos as they all sat on their knees and resting onto soft cushions and such. With Leaf one the far left end of the stage. Looking a little sheepish and embarrassed about wearing something like this, doing her best to avoid all eye contact. While Misty was in the middle of the stage, smiling and taking things with stride. This had Ash and Robert, who were with their Pokemon looking down at the stage as they added their two cents.

"Misty looks to be taking this with stride, she seems real confident about winning this competition?" Ash murmured having Robert nodding his hea,d while sighing softly.

"I am a little worried about Leaf though. She doesn't take large crowds staring at her and such so easily. At least, not in this context in terms of beauty and such." Robert said and pursed his lips to the side. "Everything else however she can do it okay, even with People watching Pokemon battles. But this might be a bit much for her." He said and saw Eevee wagging his tail and smiling happily. While Pikachu was too smiling and wagging his tail, seeing how excited everyone is about this competition and tournament that is about to begin for the beauty-

"And let us not forget that after the judges and such get done with their voting and whatnot for these beautiful ladies, that we have to introduce our Grand prizes for winning this fair competition." Thenarrator said and everyone turned their attention towards another stage with curtains moving and revealing the Princess doll set. "Our grand prize winner will be winning and receiving this year's Princess Pokemon doll sets, of all the female Pokemon representing each region across the world." He then exclaimed. "All the while in the center of the doll set, is also a Special Prized Pokemon, Milotic waiting to be acquired to that special lady who comes on top for the Pokemon battles that are up next."

This had Misty, Leaf, Ash, Robert all widening their eyes and all whispered out at once, "Wait there's a Pokemon battle after this?"

"For those of you who are new around here, yes indeed. There will be a Pokemon battle after this introduction where our fair ladies must do battles and compete against one another in two tournament brackets. Where each one will rise to the top and reach the finals, and there our top two leading ladies will fight one another for the grand prize of the Princess Doll set and Milotic!" The narrator announced, having Leaf sighing and relaxing lightly as this is her territory indeed!

"Good, then I don't have to prim up like a stupid doll, and go all out in the tournament." She grinned wickedly and having the two girls next to her getting a little freaked out. "Heh, time to show my skills and my training to its ultimate test." She laughed softly, freaking the other girls out and began wondering if they made a mistake entering the competition?

This had Misty smiling and nodding to herself, glad to hear there is a Pokemon battle tournament after the introduction. Now she didn't have to worry about Leaf being knocked out of the rankings or be judged on her beauty and such. "That's good," then ehr fiery spirit began rising. "I always wanted to fight Leaf and Robert in a tournament. But never got too because, I wasn't there at the Cerulean gym when they arrived there, but fought my sister." She then turns her head to Leaf's direction, which the girl returns the look back with her confident smile.

"This will be the battle of the ages!"

"Now once everything is judged and calculated will all ladies go and get prepared for the Pokemon tournament! Make sure to choose your Pokemon wisely, as these battles are going to be single matches and one off fights!" The narrator exclaimed and saw everyone getting up from the throw pillows and started heading on back, to get change and back into their regular outfits. After a couple of minutes went by and things were being moved about in the stadium, the tournament will soon begin as Leaf and Misty will be separated into two tournament brackets and will begin their battles immediately once thighs starts.

When it did everything would begin a bit slowly with each competitor and trainer heading out and battling one another. Having these battles not lasting super long at all, or rather ending rather quickly, making Robert and Ash who were watching this. To find some of these fights being a bit boring and kind of one-sided, making them wonder how much or how many people here in the city are actual trainers? "I mean…" Robert then rested his arm onto the armrest of his chair, holding some cotton candy as Eevee gently and being cute, takes some bites and licked some off. "Do people here even train their Pokemon? Let alone have them gain experience…it seems kind of pointless to even have a pokemon tournament."

Ash nodded and crossed his arms, allowing Pikachu to happily eat some pieces of hot dog in a tray covered in ketchup. "I know, I don't want to sound like an ass…but these trainers aren't that good? And what worse, if someone who DOEs train their Pokemon were to enter and such? They are very easily gonna win." Stated the raven haired boy, as the two will see that Leaf will be up next and just as she entered and send out her Clefaible onto the battlefield to face off a Furfrou, the normal type Pokemon would be defeated right away from some simple Headbutts and few Thunderbolts from the Fairy/Normal type Pokemon.

Robert nodded as after a few more rounds in the B bracket, Misty was easily blasting through things with relative ease with her Pokemon. "Yeah, Leaf and Misty so far seem to be the only two who are trainers here for this year's competition." Robert said and grabbed his cotton candy and took a bite of it. "Well, at least once those two fight. It will be interesting and possibly even more entertaining."

Ash hummed and grabbed his hot dog and then yelped as lots of ketchup spilled out and hit hs black t-shirt underneath his coat. "Pikachu!" He scolded causing Pikachu to fold his ears and sheepishly laughed apologizing for how much Ketchup it put on the hot dog. "Sheesh Pikacgy, we need to do something about your fascination with Ketchup." Sighed the boy but chuckled and stroked Pikachu's head, making the electric mouse to chu at the sensation. "...Don't think we are being critics about this, do you Robert?" He asked the older teen, who was humming and then looked up. "Considering we're kind of reasoned trainers and…basically saying how these trainers Pokemon aren't well trained?"

Robert then faltered and sagged his shoulders as he thought about it, "I…am not sure." But then chuckold. '"But I think if we are. We should keep it to ourselves. I mean, we don't know if the people will train their pokemon or not whenever this year comes?" Robert said and shrugged, making Ash nod slightly at the point. "That and do remember, Misty is a Gym leader and Leaf has been traveling battling Gym leaders and such. So compared to experienced battlers here in terms of outside?"

"Good point, they wouldn't really be ready for trainers from outside the city, coming in." Ash added at the end as the two figured to keep it at that and enjoy the battles that's going on so far. Watching Leaf and Misty's profile pictures going higher and higher, winning and zipping by their competitors like they were nothing until the finals arrived and had both Leaf and Misty profile pictures at the top.

"This is such an incredible tournament of history, as Leaf and her variety of Pokemon, blasted through her competition and zoomed by and defeated her opponents one by one with each precision and choice of Pokemon. While Misty in the B block, has also blasted through with her water type Pokemon without fail and missing a single beat. Now these two ladies have reached the finals and are about to face off against one another. What kind of Pokemon will they be showing off this time? As Leaf's, Chairzard, Clefaible, Poliwrath, Lurantis and Alcremie have reached the very top. While Misty's all water type Pokemon has gotten her here to the top as well, will she be able to win against Leaf and her variety of Pokemon and their movesets? Or will Leaf take the gold and win the competition all together."

Leaf smirked and rested a hand on her hips, looking towards Misty who smiled back and eager to get started. Sadly, they can only really choose one Pokemon for this fight, and Misty knows Leaf will not go with Charizard on the account of being weak to water types. She might go for Lurantis to counter her water type Pokemon, knowing that Lurantis and Alcremie were the two new Pokemon the girl had caught during her travels and were trying to raise them up.

"So, will you be using Lurantis for this fight, Leaf? Only make sense if you want to beat me and such, as well against my powerful water type Pokemon." She giggled out as she saw Leaf snickering and shaking her head.

"And what, risk being defeated by Ice beam or Blizzard attacks? Nah, I ain't that stupid as well I know you have moves to counter Grass types and Electric types." she said and grinned. "No, I think I am gonna use Alcremie for this fight." She announced, making Misty hum and lower her right brow slightly. Alcremie isn't the most mobile Pokemon out there? Is she sure?

But remembers Leaf saying earlier with Ash and Robert, they were going to plan and train all the Pokemon who haven't gotten any battle experiences yet, to which Lurantis and Alcremie is one of them. "Ah I gotcha," she then goes and grabs one of her Pokeballs. "Alright then, I will use one of my Pokemon who hasn't gotten much fighting done too. Alright then come on out Goldee-" only to flinch and fall forward as one of the Pokeballs burst open and came out her Psyduck!

"Psyduck!" Called the Pokemon while raising its arms upwards and then turning towards Misty who recovered from her fall and shouting to the water duck.

"The hell you're doing out of your Pokeball! Quick get black before the judges regist- " But it was too late, her face faltered and her eyes went pale at the sight of Psyduck registering on the board for Misty's choice of Pokemon. "Oh fudge…"

Looks like Misty has chosen a Psyduck to go against Leaf's Alcremie, what kind of tactics and plans do Misty have in store with this Pokemon! Only time will tell as the fight begins!"

"Aww…no I am going to get a headache after this." Misty groaned and saw Psyduck just tilting his head and making her glare at you. "Especially you, your going to give me a fucking headache after this."

This had Leaf chuckling lightly and sweat dropping, "well Misty…we did say we're gonna try and give our Pokemon experience, especially ones that haven't battled right?" She said softly and saw Misty glaring at her. "And Psyduck can evolve into Golduck, and no water stone is required right?"

Misty huffed and groaned, "At least you see the bigger picture. But I wanted to have an epic fight with you! Not…not this!" She thrust her hands towards Psyduck who continued staring back at her and then having her sigh. "But fine…" she then thrust her hand forward "alright Psyduck go and use water gun!" She commanded and waited for Psyduck to use the move, but he just stared and then tilted his head and had question marks appearing around his head causing Misty to collapse comically on the floor, before recovering and shouting. "USE WATER GUN!"

Ash in the stands blink his eyes and chuckle lightly, "wait…doesn't Misty know that Psyduck doesn't learn Water gun naturally? Don't you need aTM to use the attack?" He said and then looked at Robert, who sighed and facepalmed.

"She did teach it Water gun…through . Just…this Psyduck is a weird one." Robert said softly and shook his head. "Ever since we helped that Pokemon center with strange cases of Pokemon having headaches and such, to learn later it was someone causing Hypnos psychic waves to cause problems in the city. That Nurse Joy wanted us to take it, and Misty accidentally tripped and had aPokeball roll out and well..Psyduck helped himself to becoming her new Pokemon."

Leaf and Alcremie lightly look at one another as if debating if they should attack or not, considering how Psyduck is behaving. "Well, we also gotta worry about having a headache." Leaf muttered. Knowing that if Psyduck gets a terrible headache, it will use its Psychic type moves like Confusion and Disable, and knowing how strong those attacks can be? It won't end well for them. "Alcremie, go and use Dazzling gleam!" Leaf commanded and saw the sweet Pokemon nodding her head and began bouncing forward a couple of feet and then leapt into the air.

Gathering a lot of energy around its body, absorbing the sun for only a moment and then firing off the Fairy type move of blinding light energy orbs towards Psyduck!

"Psyduck dodge the attack and then counter with Scratch, at least I know you have that move." Misty muttered and watched Psyduck thinking a moment before waddling towards the right, not at all in a hurry to get out of the way. Making her face palmed and hearing the explosion erupting around the Pokemon, making him let out a cry of fear in pain as it flew into the air and slamming down hard into the ground. Causing it to start flailing and rolling about on the ground. "Oh my gosh…Psyduck, scratch attack…" Misty muttered out and watched Psyduck stop thrashing about, to then blinking his eyes and then slung himself up and onto his webbed feet.

"Duck." He then proceeds to waddle forward and towards Alcremie without much urgency and causing Misty to throw her head backwards in frustration about this Pokemon's lack of grit or battle prowess. She knew Leaf will avoid hitting Psyducks head and give him a headache, considering she want's to avoid it using psychic attacks.

Ash chuckled softly, "I don't know who to feel sorry for, Psyduck? Or Misty.." The raven haired teen said, having Robert to chuckle lightly.

"Honestly, both. Misty wanted to probably have an epic battle against Leaf, but Psyduck ended up coming out of his ball. While for Psyduck, having to suffer through being attacked and such by Leaf's Alcremie."

Pikachu and eevee chuckled along with each other, seeing how the fight was going in front of them as Psyduck waddled over to Alcremie and raised his right hand into the air and then swinging it down, only for Alcremie to shuffle backwards and have Psyduck missing the attack. Making Psyduck waddle and shake his body out of balance, to then quickly set his webbed feet down. Then tried to follow up with another half attempt of a scratch attack, only for Alcremie to roll her eyes and shuffled back again and having the duck miss.

"Psyduck go and use Tail whip!" Misty commanded and saw the duck Pokemon regaining his balance and then started to wag and swing his tail cutely but not doing anything with it, and making Misty grit her teeth and grinding them as Psyduck makes a bashful expression. "You…little…"

"Seems like Misty Psyduck has no idea what it is doing, let alone seemingly not having many ways to attack its opponent. With the scratch attacks failing and such, to then missing its Tail whip attack. It will look like Leaf will have this in the bag." The narrator said, having Leaf towards the box he was in and then looking at Misty. Followed by the crowd of audience, she definitely doesn't want people to think Misty is a bad trainer- despite her winning and plowing through her opponents from earlier. The brown hair girl knows people will no doubt have second thoughts about using Psyduck after this, so she figured. To make Psyduck get a headache and fight it at full power…after all? Experience is experience.

"Alcremie," Leaf shouted and had the Pokemon turn to her and blinking her red eyes. "Use Disarming voice!" Leaf commanded and saw the Pokemon nodding her head and looking back at Psyduck and took a deep breath and began screaming out sound waves of fairy type moves, screeching into Psyducks face! Causing the Pokemon to fly and rolling backwards form the attack, but also causing it to have his ears ringing and pounding through his head. When he got up Psyduck shut his eyes and began shaking his head. "Again Alcremie!" Leaf commanded a second time and once more Alcremie took another deep breath and screeched out towards Psyduck!

Causing the duck to grab his head and begin wailing out in pain and agony as he started to run around aimlessly going around the stadium as he cried out rapidly and holding his head in major pain and discomfort. Having Misty to blink her eyes and look at Leaf.

"Leaf what are…"

"Hey, you can't use Psyduck efficiently right without it getting a headache?" Leaf then smiled. "So why not force it to have a headache and awaken its psychic ability?" Leaf said and wink. "Who knows, it might also listen to its other attacks as well. So, let's make it a good fight!"

Misty blinked her eyes and then smiled seeing what Leaf is doing now, "Got it, let's make this a worthy fight then." She then turned to Psyduck as she saw the duck continuing to run around aimlessly like a loose Torchic. Then seeing him coming to a stop and seemingly closing his eyes, knowing the headache had reached its peak. "Alright then let's hope this works! Psyduck go and use Water gun!"

Misty commanded Psyduck who opened his eyes and they were glowing blue from the immense headache it is having right now. He opened his mouth and began firing off a powerful strong water gun towards Alcremie, with powerful force behind the attack too. Alcremie who saw the attack coming quickly rolled out of the way and slid across the ground, to then jumping into the air when Psyduck fired another Water gun attack towards her and leaving her open in the air.

"Alcremie use Magical Leaf!" Leaf quickly retaliated by having Alcremie use the grass type move. This allows it to always hit and land its attack to the opponent. Alcreammie let out a cute cry of its voice and raised her arms into the air. Summoning rainbow color leaves above her palms and then began throwing them forward, sending out four of them each as they soar and flew straight towards Psyduck!

"Psyduck use confusion on the leaves and send them back to Alcremie!" Misty commanded and watched the blue energy-like aura surrounding Psyduck as the Pokemon raised his hands forward and began stopping the four leafs that were going to strike it down. Surprising Leaf greatly of the Pokemon preventing the attacks from landing and then threw his arms downwards, sending the attacks back towards the still airborne Alcremie.

"Alcremie use Protect!" Leaf shouted swiftly, as Alcremie threw her hands forward and summoned a barrier to protect herself from the oncoming attacks. As the Leafs struck and exploded on the barrier, causing Alcremie to be pushed back in the air and then landing down onto the battlefield and sliding backwards as it rested heroine hand on the ground, before swiftly standing up right and then letting out a shrilling shriek of Disarming voice once more causing it to echoed and fly across the stadium to Psyduck. Whoi grunted out and yelp in pain as it gout lifted off his feet, to then flying into the air- to then slamming back down onto the gourd, bouncing lightly and rolling about before it was back on his feet.

Misty bit her lip knowing the earlier disarming voice that Alcremie used had already damaged Psyduck before, even though Leaf did it to make Psyduck get a headache and fight at full strength. But she knows the Pokemon wouldn't last long if he keeps getting hit. "Psyduck quick before Alcremie takes notice, use confusion on her and send her into the air!" Misty commanded while throwing her arms forward, watching Psyduck eyes glowing blue still and began staring towards Alcremie. Making the frosting Pokemon to yelp out and feeling psychic energy surrounding the Pokemon and then getting flown straight into the air! "Alright,"

"Don't think that will protect you Misty!" Leaf said and had Misty widening her eyes as Leaf swung her arm upwards, "Alcremie, use Dazzling gleam!" and thrust her arm forward. As Alcremie who is spinning about and rolling in the air- righted herself and facing down towards the Psyduck as her eyes hardened and began letting out a powerful cry of her name and gathering energy all around her including the sun.

"Psyduck quick use-" Though Misty felt her face going pale as she saw the glowing eyes on her Poklemon had stopped and returned to normal. Having Psyduck to blink his eyes and then tilting his head while grabbing onto his head, "O…oh no."

"Psyduck?" The duck quack and then looked upwards when he sensed something off in front of him and then felt a sweat drop forming on his head. As he saw Alcremie charging up a Dazzling gleam attack and surrounding the energy all around her to then above her hands, followed by thrusting both hands down and shooting the fairy energy of beam straight towards Psyduck. With the duck just staring with that dumbfounded look of his, before the move connected and exploded all around the Pokemon!

Making Misty and Leaf to wince at the sudden explosion as Leaf whispers out, "Maybe…that was a bit much." She chuckled softly watching Misty sigh and shaking her head hearing the duck Pokemon crying out and flying out of the smokescreen and slamming back down onto the battlefield, sliding across it and reaching over towards Misty. Before quietly fainting and having swirls in his eyes as he groaned out one last time. Making Misty to facepalm but smile either way, as the Pokemon was able to fight at least and get off a couple of moves before his headache ended and recalled the Pokemon back to the ball.

"You did great Psyduck, take a good rest." Misty said and closed her eyes and eye smiles to the ball. And then looking toward sLeaf, as Alcremie fell back down and landed onto its feet. Looking to be happy but also a little worn out from exerting a lot of energy. "Even if it wasn't what we wanted, the battle was amazing, Leaf! Thank you for it and purposely giving Psyduck a headache." she giggled the last part out.

Having Leaf smiling and laughing, "No problem! I figured since Psyduck is an interesting case, it wouldn't be right not to have him get a headache! Great battle either way Misty!" Leaf said as the audience and the crowds began cheering and shouting praises towards the two battlers that were giving an amazing battle despite how things turned out. Having everyone clapping and cheering for the two girls and their amazing performance. The narrator laughed and smiled as he began talking.

"And there ya have it ladies and gentlemen, the battles of the Pokemon competition has come to a close and our victorious champion and winner of the event is Leaf and her Pokemon Alcremie!" He shouted and declared as he chuckled out. "Give Misty and her psyduck another round of applause as they too, showed amazing talent and skills for the battle. Almost ready to make a comeback despite the situation and how close they were to beating Alcremie!"

In which everyone did so and gave Misty cheers and hollers, making the girl to chuckled and blush sheepishly from everyone praising and the likes. Even Ash, Robert and their two Pokemon were clapping and cheering for the both of them and began heading out of the stands to go and meet up with the girls.

Few minutes went by and we could see a truck that had the label "Pidgeot express" on it and began driving off with Misty waving to them and reminding them to be careful with the Princess doll set. As well as telling them where to deliver the package. She then lowered her arm and let out a happy sigh, then turned and faced Leaf who exited out of the building with ash, Robert Pikachu and Eevee. "So, did you get Milotic?" she asked excitedly and saw Leaf nodding her head rapidly and tossing the ball up and down.

"Yup! Can't believe it," She then looked at the ball and smiled. "I finally got Milotic! Spent so many hours trying to fish in certain areas and rivers during our travels. In order to find a frigging Feebas, but." She then raised the ball and began rubbing it against her cheek. "I finally got myself a Milotic after all this time, it is finally mine!"

Robert laughed and gently patted Leaf's back, "easy there Leaf. Gonna rival Misty and her obsession with Water type Pokemon." He joked, having Misty to huff lightly and shaking her head but did not take offense to it. "But glad to see you having fun and enjoying yourself."

Ash agreed while folding his hands behind his neck. "Yeah, we were so intent on making this day special for ya and having you enjoy the holiday. And here, you are smiling and giddy-like for getting a Pokemon from the competition." chuckled the raven haired boy, which has Misty nodding.

"Not only that but the Pokemon competition seemed to have also boosted your spirits too." She then winked. "Seems like you enjoyed Princess day at the end of it all after all!"

Leaf blinked her eyes and stared in no direction at all and looked up in thought. "Huh," she then sticks her tongue out while tilting her head. "Guess you're right! At the end of the day, I enjoyed myself and the holiday." She chuckled. "Guess when I heard that there was also a Pokemon battle competition. I guess it lightened up my mood and allowed me to relieve some stress!"

Robert nods and adds, "And that's what makes holidays good, as long you're enjoying yourself and feeling good about yourself. Then you don't have to worry about being upset about the holiday." Then crossed his arms. "Still you have valid reasons, but remember. Long you have friends and family to help make your day good and special. Then that all it matters. Not the bustling of sales and such, not needing to go the extremes to try everything and anything all at once. Just take it at your own pace."

Leaf nodded and smiled, "thanks robert, I'll definitely remember that." she then snickered and proudly raised her head. "And now that I know Princess day also has Pokemon competition. I can do those instead of worrying about the hustle and bustle of crazy lunatics and idiots behaving like monkeys, trying to get that special deal." With that she happily faces in the direction and exit of the town. "Now come on everyone, we only have three weeks till the Pokemon league starts. We better get a move on and get to the shipping docks, before there are no more boats leaving for Pallet town."

Everyone agreed and began following Leaf out of the city as our heroes had a wonderful time on this very day and learned more about Leaf and her past of said Princess day. With new fond strength and knowledge now that Leaf can enjoy Princess day when it comes around next year, she will be sure to double check and see if there will be a Pokemon tournament being held within the holiday. As our hero stride on and continue their way of becoming a Pokemon master, our heroes set out to the next town over in hopes of finding a boat that will take them back to the main lands of Kanto.
