Hey guys, so I have returned to you with a new chapter of RWBY Hearts!
Last time, the Travelers of Light rescued Auron from Hades' control, which led to a fight with the god himself, and they emerged victorious. Since the Organization was not present there, they decided to continue their search for their friends. Will they succeed in finding answers in the Caribbean? Let us find out!
So as you can all guess, the fanfic now has a TV Tropes page on it and I am so honored to have it there, if we can edit it to include many tropes that will help out a lot :)
So I have been thinking of something…now I know this might not be for everybody…but how would everyone feel if I made a Tumblr blog about the story? So that way I can answer any questions you might have for me. Just a thought.
I know some of them are for popular fanfic authors and I don't see myself as one of them, it's just an idea. Not saying I'm gonna do it or not going to do it, just a simple suggestion, nothing more nothing less.

World That Never Was
In a small common room, Xibar was sitting down on a couch, looking into the fire. His eyes were tense a bit as he glared hard into the scorching flames.
"Now we're down to Saїx, Xemnas, Axel, Luxord, and me." He thought as he then sighed and rubbed his face in his hands. "So far this isn't really doing wonders." He then looked up with a smirk. "I guess it'll be worth it…in the end." But his train of thought was interrupted by a tap on his shoulder. He looked to see Neopolitan looking at him with a smile. Xigbar was wondering why she was here, she's supposed to be with Cinder. "The hell do you want, Ice Cream girl?" He asked.
Neo reached her scroll out and typed in some words, making Xigbar raise his eyebrow. She then gave him the scroll and he read it. "Little Red killed Roman, and I want her dead."
Xigbar looked at her and she nodded her head out of confirmation, the eye-patch-wearing man chuckled. "I gotta admit I like how motivated you are." He said as he got up and stared down at her. "But Are you certain that Ruby was responsible?" He asked, making Neo tilt her head. "Think about it, you and Roman both helped Cinder attack Vale and launched the attack on Beacon." He said as her eyes widened a bit. "Oh yeah…we know." He said with a smirk.
Xigbar then sighed. "But then again, if you wish to end her, go ahead. The more I look at it, the little rose is of no use to the organization anyway." He said as he then got up to walk away. "Go find Luxord, he will be going to the Caribbean, chances are you will run into Rose and her posse." He said as he then walked out of the room, leaving Neo alone.
Neo stood by herself in the middle of the room, and from what Xigbar told her…she was happy. Finally, she would avenge her boss's death, and maybe she would be free of Cinder! However, as much as she desired revenge…a part of her felt a bit conflicted..why? Sure Roman died during the attack on Beacon...but something that Xigbar sid to her kinda stuck with it. Was Little Red responsible? Or was it Cinder? Neo shook her head furiously. No! No! Sure Cinder was a bitch, but Ruby Rose...she killed Roman! She had to have...she had to have. Neo closed her eyes and clenched her fists.
Xigbar watched from a corner and smirked. "Stupid bitch." He thought with a dark smirk as her mind then went to Cinder. "I will admit, she's strong, but then again she might be weak-hearted…still I guess we can see how it will end for her." He thought.
Meanwhile, back in the cell. WBY, NR, Oscar, and Qrow were still sitting and wondering and figuring out a way to get out of there. But Qrow was still in a bit of shock after hearing about his former tribe. The Branwen Tribe was feared and very powerful too. They raided villages and left any survivors to the Grimm, to hear that the tribe was taken down by this group…it made him a bit wary and nervous...just who-no…just WHAT were these guys?
Qrow turned to see Yang sitting at a wall. She was not angry, but she was a bit solemn as her arms were crossed and her eyes closed. Blake was nearby as well, facing down twiddling her fingers. Whatever happened to the two of them, was starting to wear into them, and he was getting worried. But how can they get out? Every time they try, they would get zapped, and it didn't do wonders for their Auras.
Nora looked over at Oscar, who was looking down a bit. "Oscar?" She said as she scooted over. "Are you ok?" The farm hand didn't say anything to her, but she shook his head, making Nora worried for him. "Hey, don't be so down, we'll get out of this somehow" She said to him.
Oscar then looked up to her. "But how?" He asked. "And not just that either…to find out…about Ozpin..about me…why was I chosen for this? Why did he choose me?" He asked as his body shook a little bit. "I just…I don't know what to do-" But he was stopped by Nora wrapping an arm around him.
"Everything will be alright." The hammer girl said to him. "Ruby, Jaune, and Sun will find and free us, everything else will be figured out soon." She said to him. As much as Oscar wanted to feel better about it, there was a part of him that still felt unsure about the entire thing….he hoped Ruby and the others would be here soon…because he didn't know how long these men would keep them alive.
Qrow was still in thought, then his thoughts turned to his sister Raven, the leader of the Branwen Tribe…well former member now that the tribe was wiped out. Even though she pretty much turned on them to aid Cinder during the track at Haven Academy, he had secretly hoped that she managed to survive the assault. He already lost one member of his former team…he didn't think he could lose another one, even if they were on different sides.
Weiss was the only one being silent during almost the entire capture. Given how she was briefly held captive by the tribe it didn't worry her at all, but she was still worried. For her friends…for Ruby and the others…and more importantly she was worried for Yang and Blake, this entire capture was not doing anything for them and making them be at each other's throats. She looked over at Yang and Blake, both of who were still distancing themselves and she sighed. "This has to stop." She thought. She then scooted over to where Yang was and tapped her on the leg. "Yang."
The brawler looked up and nodded. "Ice Queen." She said, Normally Weiss would get peeved for being called that, but she knew that now was not the time for it, she had to fix this whole thing soon.
"Yang," Wiess said, now being a bit more firm. "This needs to stop." She said to her.
Yang raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" She asked.
"You know! You and Blake!" She said to her. "Look, I understand what she did was bad, leaving Beacon when all hell broke loose, but she came back to us and she helped us at Haven, that should count right?" She asked.
Yang looked down as her robotic hand clenched into a fist. "Like that matters." She said,
Weiss's eyes widened. "What do you mean?"
"Weiss!" Yang said to her. "Don't you understand?" She asked, now getting a bit miffed. "When her ex attacked her, I ran to defend her! Do you know what that cost me? My arm!" She said as she raised her robotic arm. "I lost my arm to save her! And did I care? No! No! Because she's my teammate and partner I didn't care for my arm. All I cared about was to make sure she was safe! And what came to that? After I risked my life for her, what did that entail? Leaving us all behind!" This made Weiss's head go down. "What do you say to that?" She asked.
Weiss looked down in shame. "And what about me?" She asked as she raised her voice a bit. "I also left as well!"
"Your asshole father forced you back to Atlas! There's a difference!" She exclaimed. Yang then turned to face the wall. "You have no idea what it feels like to be abandoned."
SLAP
Everybody in the cell, even Blake and Qrow, looked with shock as they saw Yang holding her cheek, which was slapped by Weiss, who looked peeved.
"No idea?" Weiss asked quietly, her hands trembling. "Abandoned?" She asked as tears then began to well up in her. "When my father took over the company and made it all hostile…my mother literally turned to alcohol and turned a blind eye to it all!" She said as tears finally fell from her eyes as she stomped her foot. "YOU THINK YOU HAD IT WORSE BUT EVERYBODY ELSE SHARES SOME OF THESE FEELINGS AS WELL!" She screamed as she then went back over to be by herself while wrapping her arms around her and crying.
Yang looked at Weiss for a while, tears going down her face, and looked down. "Why did I say that?" She thought as she looked away, feeling ashamed as Blake went over to hug the young Schnee girl. Yang put her head to the wall and lamented. "Why?" She thought.
Oscar looked around. "It's this place…he said to himself. "We need to figure out a way out of here." He said. Soon after he said that they all heard footsteps nearby and turned to see a hooded man coming over to them, making them all glare hatefully at him.
"The hell do you want?" Qrow asked harshly.
The man chuckled as he removed his hood to reveal Xemnas smirking at them all. "All in due time." He said.
When he revealed himself. Oscar heard Ozpin's voice gasp in his head. "No…it can't be!" He said.
"Wait…you know that guy?" Oscar asked.
As soon as Xemnas made eye contact with Oscar he smirked. "Now Omar, is that any way to get an old colleague?" He asked as everyone turned their attention to Oscar.
Soon, the farmhand gasped and closed his eyes, when he opened them his eyes changed, Ozpin had taken over. "I didn't think I would see you again…not after what you did Xehanort." He said, making everyone confused.
Xamnas smirked. "Xehanort…it's been a long time since I went by that name." He said. "But now it's Xemnas."
"Wait," Ren said. "Professor Ozpin, who do you know?" He asked.
Ozpin sighed. "Remember how you all know about my past? And my many incarnations? Well-"
"You see." Xemnas began. "One of his incarnations happened to be a former colleague of mine when we tutored under the tutelage of Ansem the Wise."
Flashback/Ansem's Study
In the study, Ansem the Wise was sitting down at his desk looking over today's lesson plans, until one of his students walked in. The student was a tall figure with a light skin complexion, his hair was a shaggy blond with some of it parting over his right eye. Like many of the other pupils, he was wearing a white lab coat and black pants and she was as well. This is Omar.
"Ah, Omar." Ansems said with a smile. "What brings you here at this hour?" He asked as he got up from his seat and went to a nearby fridge. "May I get you a Sea-Salt Ice Cream?" He asked.
"No sir." Omar said to him. "But…I do want to talk to you though." He said as he took a seat, Asnem looked at the young man with a raised eyebrow as he came back over with one ice cream for himself and took a seat. "Do you promise not to freak out…or well-"
"Omar." Ansem said to him. "You know I do not get mad at my apprentices easily, except for Xehanort for talking about the nonsense of worlds and such." He said. "As well as his experiments for darkness."
Omar looked down for a bit. "Well…that's it, sir." He said, making the older man raise an eyebrow. "You see when we were discussing the matter of other worlds and all that….you see…I'm not from here." He said with a big sigh. "I'm really-"
"From another world?" Asnem finished for him, making the young pupil look at him with surprise. Ansem gave him a small smile. "I overheard you one time during your sessions." Then his smile turned into a frown. "And I also saw you converse with Xehanort over darkness and an immortal witch named Salem. Omar looked down, and then explained his past to Asnem, about how he rescued Slame from the tower, then the Brother gods, and finally up when she and him became mortal enemies. Anime was a bit shocked by the revelation, but he kept a calm head. "I see…" He said.
Omar then looked at him. "Ansem, I just think…that maybe these experiments can help me destroy Salem."
Asnem shook his head. "Omar, if this Salem truly is immortal as you say, then no doubt any experiments will get rid of her. If she is truly meant to die, then she must be consumed by darkness."
"That's the problem." Omar said. "When she fell into the Grimm Pool she didn't die but she became destruction itself, she can control the Grimm to do her bidding." He said. "I don't know if darkness can take her or not…there has to be a way."
Unknown to them, Xehanort was listening from a corner…and he had a smirk on his face as a dark mist radiated off of his hand.
Present/World That Never Was
"You were listening!" Ozpin said through Oscar.
Xemnas nodded. "And then before we cast our master to the Realm of Darkness, you and that mouse king tried to stop us…a shame that body you used went to waste. You would've made a powerful Nobody." He said as he turned his back. "But it'll be over soon." He said.
Ren then went to the gate. "Jaune, Ruby, and the ones they're accompanying will find us and rescue us. And we will stop you." He said.
Xemnas looked at the ninja and smirked. "Do you have complete trust in your friends?" He said as he gave a small chuckle. "How are they going to save you when they couldn't even save Pyrrha." He said as he then turned around and walked away.
"JUST YOU WAIT JACKASS!" Nora shouted from the cage. "FEARLESS LEADER AND RUBY WILL RESCUE US! AND WHEN WE GET OUT OF HERE, I'M GONNA BREAK ALL YOUR DAMN LEGS!" Xemnas however did not listen or care as he left the room.
Yang was still by herself, looking over at Blake, who was hugging Weiss, and then looked down. "What's happening to me?" She thought with worry.
World Lane
The Travelers of Light were all now back in the world lane on their way to their newest destination, which was the Caribbean. At first, they were going to go back to Atlantis, but they figured that with the Heart of Atlantis benign backup, there was no need for them to return. Especially since Milo was there to help them.
"I hope Jack, Will, and the others are all doing alright." Max said. "But since that curse was released they have nothing to worry about.
Sun shook his head. "Well, they're pirates after all." He said as they got closer and closer to the Caribbean. "I just hope we don't run into Cinder or Neo there." He said.
"And why?" Sun turned to Jaune, whose grip on the handle of his sword tightened a bit. "Why should we be worried about Cinder?"
Sun noticed the edge-type voice Jaune had and it made him slightly nervous. "Well..we got enough issues with the Organization and-"
"In case you forgot." Jaune said as he got up and went close to him. "Cinder and Neo ARE part of the Organization!" He said as everybody was now feeling a bit nervous. "If we run into them, they go down just like the rest!" He said with a stern tone of voice. Sun normally was not afraid of anything, but he couldn't deny that at that moment, Jaune intimidated him…just a bit though.
Ruby frowned and went over to both of them. "Jaune, please." She said to him, Jaune looked at her and back at Sun and then went back to his spot on the ship. This was not looking good for either party, and Ruby hung her head low.
"Don't worry, sweetie." Ortensia said to her. "He's just worried is all."
Ruby sighed. "I know, we all are….but Jaune…I think Jaune is…well…" But she felt a hand grab hers and Sora gave her a comforting smile.
"We won't let that happen, Rubes." He said, making Ruby smile at him. Unknown to them, however, when Jaune saw Sora and Ruby's hands together, his hand clenched itself into a fist, was it anger or jealousy?
"Guys!" Everybody heard Dale's voice on the intercom. "You're heading straight to the Caribbean!" He said as the group was prepared to travel back to the Seven Seas.
Port Royale Harbor
The team made their way back to Port Royale and were also back in their pirate clothing, needless to say, they enjoyed wearing them.
"You know, I wouldn't mind dressing like this all the time." Sora said with a smile. "Makes me very…pirate-y." this made some of them chuckle a bit.
"Pirate-y" Max asked. "That isn't even a word." But that was responded to by Sora sticking his tongue out.
"I hope everyone is ok, now that the curse has been lifted." Goofy said.
"Same," Stitch said as they continued walking. But then he heard something. "Wait, hear something, " He said, making everyone look at him with surprise. Stitch poked his head up. "Swords!" he said as he ran off ahead of everyone, making them all run after the alien.
Finally, they caught up to him and saw Jack and Mr. Gibbs clashing against undead pirates...wait…undead pirates? But that was impossible, they got rid of the cursed gold, so why are there pirates undead still? But those equations would be answered later, now they needed to help.
"Jack, Mr. Gibbs!" Ruby shouted as the Travelers of Light jumped with Jack and Mr. Gibbs and easily took down the undead pirates with ease. After that, they all relaxed a bit.
"Good to see each of you again." Mr. Gibbs said with a smile and Jack nodded as well, but Gibbs smile turned into a frown. "Too bad it was under different circumstances…"
"Why are the undead pirates still around?" Oswald asked. "We got rid of the Aztec gold!" He said.
"No idea, my rabbit friend." Jack said. "Some idiot must've got greedy."
"Also Barbossa's crew were all captured by Norton and the Navy." Gibbs said. "So now we're trying to figure out how they managed to escape." then that made the travelers of light stare directly at Jack, who then raised an eyebrow.
"Oh I see, you assume it was us eh?" Jack asked, with the majority of the group nodding their heads. This made Jack chuckle a bit and nod. "Fair assumption, we ARE pirates after all."
Gibbs shook his head. "Despite the accusations, we didn't take anything." He said. "We already decided never to step foot anywhere near Isla De Muerta again after Barbossa..and after Jack made off with treasure that wasn't cursed…"
"Everyone!" They all turned to see Elizabeth up to them all. The woman was happy to see S0ora and the others again, but she was also a bit distressed though. "You all know of the cursed pirates right? Well Will was going to find out what happened, so he went to Isa De Muerta and-"
"He did?" Gibbs asked with a facepalm. "That stupid boy is going to get himself killed.
"That is what I fear, Mr. Gibbs, I think something bad happened. "You all have to take me to him!" She said,
"Now hold on." Sun said. "First we're going to need some backup, we need to get the rest of the crew together and-"
"Woah, hold on now monkey boy." Jack said, making the Faunusg give him a small glare. He then focused his attention on Elizabeth. "If you are to sail to rescue the man of your dreams, best you do it alone."
"WHAT?" Everyone (minus Gibbs) exclaimed, with Jack nodding his head in agreement.
Elizabeth glared. "Oh, really Jack? I sail to a cured island, while taking on an army of undead pirates all by myself?"
"Well, Anamarie can do it." Gibbw said, making the woman glare at him.
Jaune went up to her. "Are you sure Will is in trouble?" He asked.
"I think he has been gone for too long." Elizabeth said. "I wanted to go with him but he insisted that I stay here so that I wouldn't get hurt. But I can't sit here and do that! I need to make sure he's alright!"
Jack looked at her and sighed. "Lucky man he is…" When Elizabeth pleaded again, Jack raised his hand. "Now hold on, I don't see a profit in it for me."
This made the Travelers of Light sigh. "Of course, he would say that." They thought in unison.
"Wait!" Ruby exclaimed. "We still got some gold back on our Gummi Ship."
Donald widened his eyes. "Wait wha-"
"Yeah," Sora said. "We can give you a big bag of it."
"Guys shut up!"
Jack thought it over. "Well…if you're willing to pay despite being part of the crew…I guess I'll do it."
"AWE COME ON!" Donald wailed as tears came out of his eyes, but everyone was just ignoring him.
Black Pearl
Everybody was now on the ship and sailing to Isla De Muerta, the crew reunited with the Travelers of Light and it was a good thing. Elizabeth had decided to ditch her traditional dress and dress up more swashbuckly, as suggested by Sora and Jack. As they were sailing they were all talking.
"Anamaria and Will have been training me in using swords in case I ever get captured again." She said as she showed them her cutlass and she also showed them a flintlock pistol in case. "Of course, they also had to explain more of the Code to me."
"I thought the Code was more guidelines than actual rules." Ruby said with confusion.
"They are lass." They all saw Gibbs walking alongside them. "Nonetheless, we always follow it, guidelines or not. He said as he then sat down to join them. "So, have you managed to find your crew yet?"
Sora looked down. "No…not yet." He said Ruby and Jaune both matched the mood and looked down as well. "We almost did but it got taken from us." He said.
Both Swann and Gibbs frowned at them, feeling sympathy for them as the man patted Sora's back. "You'll find them lad, just keep the faith." He said. Sora looked up and smiled a little bit at him.
"Thanks Mr. Gibbs," Sora said. "So when did the undead pirates start attacking?"
"A few days ago." Elizabeth told him. "As I mentioned before, no one knows why, so Will went to Isla De Muerta with a small group to see if the chest was tampered with."
"It still doesn't make any sense." Gibbs said. "Who would want the chest and the curse that badly?" When he asked that, the Travelers thought of some people. At first they went to Organization XIII, seeing as how they were Nobodies, it would make sense as they can't be cursed like that…but if it was the Organization, what would they want the medallions for?
"Ship approaching!" Anamaria called out, getting everybody's attention. They all looked to see a normal-looking vessel out in the ocean, just stalling right there.
Gibbs handed Sora a telescope and asked him what he saw. Sora peered into the scope and saw a figure on the mast, he zoomed in and got a good look and he gasped. "It's Will!" He called out in alarm, and Elizabeth snatched the scope away for her to see as well.
"Will!" Elizabeth shouted with worry. "Someone grab him!"
15 Minutes Later…
After getting Will off the ship, he was in the captain's staffroom while being in Elizabeth; 's arms and with the Travelers of Light, and Jack watching over him. All of them were worried for him, except maybe Jack, but if he did care for Will, then he did a good job showing his worry.
Will grunted as he slowly opened his eyes, when he did he saw everybody and while he was surprised and happy to see Sora again, he was mostly focused on Elizabeth. When Elizabeth asked him what happened, he explained that when he went to Isla De Muerta, someone had taken not just the medallions, but the entire stone chest that contained them as well, making everyone in the room widen their eyes.
"Who did it?" Sora asked with worry.
Will grunted a bit. "Two of them…dressed in black coats." He said, making the Travelers stiff a bit, knowing that the ORganization had indeed returned to this world and taken the cursed treasure. "One I couldn't see their face because they were shrouded in a hood. But the other was a short woman, whose hair color was very odd. One half is brown and the other half is pink.
Jaune, Ruby, and Sun stuffed as more after hearing about that as well. Neo was in the Caribbean as well? Now this is getting somewhat interesting. Ruby took notice to see Jaune's grip on his sword tighten a bit and she instinctively grabbed his hand, hoping that would calm him down. Will then explained that he and his men attempted to get out of the cave but the cloaked figures sent a horde of monsters after them, with the Travelers of Light confirming Heartless and Nobodies as well. "I think," Will began. "I think I was the only one who made it out of there alive." He said as his eyes then began to get heavy and he closed them.
"Will!" Elizabeth called for him worriedly. Ortensia ran to him checked his pulse and breathed a bit.
"It's fine, hon." She said, "He just fell unconscious." She said as Elizabeth then laid Will down gently, that was when Ortensia turned and nodded at Sora, who nodded back.
"Alright guys, it's our turn now." Sora said, with the others nodding in agreement.
Elizabeth then stood up and looked at everyone present. "We don't have an idea of what might be out there so you best prepare yourselves." She said, as the Travelers nodded in agreement.
Jack waved his hands out though. "Hold on now lads and lasses." He said. "Your captain will have no monsters or any of that kind of sort tonight." He said as he turned around and headed to the door. "We're returning back to port."
That made the group look at him as if he grew a second head. "Wait, just like that?" Sora asked.
"Just like that, savvy." Jack said as he turned and was about to head out until he heard something.
"Captain!" Mr. Gibb's voice called from the other side. "We got a situation!" All of them (minus Will) looked surprised and looked at each other with worry and went to go see what was going on.

You know if you saw, I adopted a dead fic from another author that is a crossover between Kingdom Hearts and Ben 10, and I already completed a few chapters for them. But as I do it…something tells me that any other Kingdom Hearts fic I do won't be as good as this one... meh, I'll deal with it ;)
