Tammy ran back stage to change outfits between recital numbers.

"I hate that they don't have proper dressing rooms," she grumbled. "I feel seen."

"It is what it is," one of the other girls said. "You know the university only gives the prime theater space to the music department. We're just a student group."

"That's not really the issue. It's just-" Tammy looked down the hall just as someone disappeared into a classroom. "Did you see that?"

The other girl looked around. "See what? Whatever. Probably just some professor."

"It really doesn't bother you?"

"We've got the leotards on, whatever."
