Episode 43! We're so back.
andrew1- Cody's been a pretty good player in all respects, he was tied for best average in voting correctly until the Sugar boot where now Chet has the sole honor.
Guest- dw, you don't come off as mean. Your hatred of Millie is so funny. My closest friend in regards to this series has Millie as his favorite character in tv, so showing this comment to him after he was already sad about her elimination was iconic. Lightning lowkey has a right to be egotistical though, without him the Water Team was dead. Makes sense you root for strategical people in this very strategy heavy fic. Thanks for reminding me of how dissapointing Brenda was in Caramoan, gal went 8 episodes with no confessionals. Jen appreciation is iconic (sorry Mortal). The reference to Taylor calling Caleb mid is a throwback.

"Last time on Total Drama Ultimate… the contestants merged, making it every camper for themselves. The Fire and Earth Teams quickly formed an agreement to take out a Water Team member, which they planned to be MK. The Water Team targeted Nichelle in return. In the end though, the pact the Water Team had was broken by the Millie and Lightning drama. Raj told Lightning and Cody about Millie targeting him, which caused a counter plan that eventually spilled into Millie's elimination. 12 are left, who will be voted out tonight?"
Intro
Day 83
Everybody walks back into camp. "Thanks for realizing she had to go." Lightning thanks everyone, as it was a unanimous vote. As someone who didn't want to vote for Millie, Sammy looks at some of her castmates.
"Can we talk?" she asks Cody, MK, and Chet. They all agree and walk off together. Cody is quick to give out an apology.
"Like I said Sammy, it wasn't personal. I'm sorry Millie is gone, but she broke the pact, and I wasn't choosing her over Lightning." he says.
"Why couldn't we just ignore what Millie did and still target Nichelle?" Sammy sighs. "This is so frustrating."
"Millie was being a snake, we had to do it. At least you also realized it and voted for her." Chet replies.
"I just don't think cutting into our numbers was the best choice to make, we should've pivoted the vote. I think we messed up." Sammy frowns.
"Once she threw out Lightning's name, she wasn't our number anymore, she was a liability. And you never suggested we stick to Nichelle until now." MK responds.
"I guess, I wasn't happy about Millie doing that. I'm just so tired of losing friends constantly, what did I do to deserve this?" Sammy groans.
"Well, no one is entitled to anything in this game, so drop the word deserve from your vocabulary." MK rolls her eyes. Sammy nods slowly, seeming to regret her choice of words.

"MK's right, I can't just whine about Millie leaving. I'm just exhausted at this point, haha." Sammy gives the driest laugh ever. "I might be too optimistic, but I feel like I'm not a target right now despite Millie going home. There are so many other threats."

"Well, we're good." Mary grins as the Outcasts are gathered. "Millie is gone, but we can't rest. We'll need to decide whether to side with the Water or Fire team at the next vote."
"We should side with the Water Team, they're probably not 100% together after the Millie thing." Raj inputs right away. "And the Fire Team has some good people to target."
"I'm fine with that." Tammy gives a thumbs up.
"Fair enough." Mary nods in response.
Confessional: Tammy
"The only reason I didn't vote for Josee last time was because we needed a Water Team member out. Now she can go!"

"I really want to work closer with Cody and Lightning, I feel comfortable with them. Maybe I can include Tammy too, I feel like she'd be easier to beat in the finale than Lightning!"

A few moments later, we see Chet sitting alone. Say it with me- he isn't alone for long- as Mary walks up to him. "Salutations."
"Hi."
…
"So… your therapist was eliminated." Mary states, causing Chet to nod.
"I'm aware."
"Why did you vote her out despite her being your therapist?" Mary inquires.
"I feel like she was helpful, but it was never going to be a good fit. We already had a negative history beforehand, there was no way we could play together long term." Chet replies with a sigh.
"Well… I'm someone with a clean slate. If you need a new therapist, I can be there for you." Mary suggests. "I know a thing or two about human psychology, I know that holding grudges is bad."
Chet looks intrigued.

Cut to reward challenge
We see everyone walk into the same beach area that they used for the last challenge, but this time the poles are removed. Once everyone is settled in, Chris speaks. "After last night, we have one less player. This challenge is for reward, but it's something I'm sure you'll all be interested in. On my go, you'll go into the ocean and search for balls that are tied down to the floor. Once you have three balls, you will go to the shooting area with your name on it. You will have to make all of your balls land on the three different platforms. First person to do that wins a reward!"
Raj laughs after the explanation because of the constant repeats of balls. "Grow up." Josee glares, not finding it quite as amusing.
"Exactly. Anyways, ready to know what your reward is?" Chris asks. After a chorus of positive responses, Chris continues. "You've been here for 83 days, that's a long time! I bet you miss your loved ones at home… let's bring them out here!"'
Those last five words cause everyone to do a double take. "Wait, are you serious?" Chet asks in shock.
"Dead serious. Chet, here's your mom, Kathy!" Chris announces. An older looking ginger woman runs out. Chet and Kathy run towards each other and hug.
"That is crazy." Nichelle gasps as everyone realizes they're about to see someone they know.
"Chet, I'm so glad to see you!" Kathy says.
"You too, mom! Is everything okay at home?" Chet asks.
"You know it, I'm just missing you, but I'm so proud of you for making it so far! I'm glad that you're doing so well without Lorenzo, I see he isn't here anymore." Kathy's smile when she walked in fading as she surveyed the remaining players.
"Yup, but I'm going to win!" he tells her, regaining Kathy's smile. Chet turns to Chris. "Thank you Chris, this is great!"
"This was Chef and Don's suggestion, I can't stand the sappy stuff. But since you're praising me, I'll take credit!" Chris laughs to the shock of no one. "Anyways Josee, here's your mom, Lucy!"
A woman who just looks like an older Josee walks out calmly. Josee barely reacts. Lucy narrows her eyes at the remaining cast. "Good thing I'm standing here right now, you don't know how I'd react if you lost already."
"I would know how you'd react mom, you're very predictable." Josee puts a hand on her hip.
"Don't backtalk." Lucy warns, causing everyone to look around awkwardly. Lucy sighs. "For real though, good work. I always knew you were good enough to do it, just like how I knew you'd become a gold medalist."
"Thanks." Josee smiles, causing the awkwardness to dissipate.
"MK, here is your brother, Carl!" Chris announces. A hunched over short man who also wears a beanie walks out. Carl slowly walks up to MK and he fist bumps his sister.
"I didn't think your lazy ass could do this well." Carl says.
"Neither did I, I'm just full of surprises." MK chuckles in response.
"Why does your brother look like a drug addict?" Chet asks.
"What are you talking about?" Carl asks as he throws a bag with white powder a distance away. Shawn scrambles over to it.
"I'm just going to borrow this…" Shawn slowly puts the bag in a vest pocket. Everyone gives him baffled looks as Chris pipes up.
"Shawn, here is your friend, Brock!" Chris says as a guy who doesn't look homeless runs out. He high fives Shawn.
"Shawn has friends?!" Nichelle asks with shock. Shawn gives her a 'what the hell' look. "What? You seem paranoid of people."
"I met Shawn working at a bakery." Brock shrugs. "The zombie stuff is weird, but I can handle it!"
"You think it's weird?!"
"Crap, I meant to keep that a secret!"
"Uh… anyways. Raj, here is your dad, Kamal!" Chris gestures as Raj's dad walks in slowly.
"What is taking him so long?" Sammy whispers as the man is still walking in.
"He had a knee replacement recently." Raj elaborates as he hugs his dad when he finally arrives. "I made it so far, are you proud?"
"Of course I am, but are you staying focused?" Kamal asks.
"I am, I promise!" Raj says. "I'm trying my best!"
"I'm glad. I'm happy you've made it far enough so I can see you."
"Alright. Mary, here is your sister, Jessica!" Chris announces as a beautiful blonde model runs out, shocking everyone. Jessica and Mary embrace.
"Greetings Jessica, your presence in my vision at this current moment has boosted my morale by a considerable amount!" Mary greets, causing Jessica to laugh.
"I've missed hearing your crazy sentences." Jessica replies. The moment of silence shortly afterwards causes some chatter to start.
"Help, why is her sister lowkey a baddie?" Nichelle asks with an impressed look.
"More like highkey." Sammy corrects, a rare moment of agreement from this duo.
"I know, right? She looks like my lesbian awakening!" MK is in awe.
"Was the lesbian awakening also blonde?" Cody asks. MK nods. "Seems you have a type."
"Erm… maybe." MK shifts her eyes. Jessica laughs at all the comments.
"You're all so kind, but why are you shocked?" Jessica asks.
"Because Mary is super ugly and looks deformed, you're the complete opposite, haha!" Staci laughs.
"You say as if you're hot." Jessica rolls her eyes, ready to defend her sister.
"Exactly, no need to be rude." Mary adds.
"Enough of that, as Staci, here is your grandpa Jimmy!" Chris says. An older man walks out with a cane. "Welcome Jimmy, how do you feel visiting your granddaughter?"
"I feel good, but I'd feel better if the stupidest looking host wasn't here right now." Jimmy replies, causing Chris to do a double take.
"Where did that come from?" Lightning asks.
"My grandpa Jimmy invented being a savage!" Staci elaborates.
"And you can take a cue from whichever of your stupid family members invented shutting up and start doing that." Chris cuts Staci off with a glare. "Cody, here is your cousin, Dan!"
A somewhat buff looking man walks out with a chill demeanor. Cody seems somewhat pleased, but neither are exactly dying to see each other. "Hey man, good to see you." Dan nods as he and Cody high five.
"Good to see you too, but I'm surprised that you're the loved one." Cody admits.
"Well I sent you a letter, not sure why it's that shocking." Dan shrugs.
"True… you were the only one." Cody concedes, realizing this makes sense.
"I was?" Dan looks shocked.
"You can talk about this later. Nichelle, here is your sister, Kara!" Chris says. A shorter woman with dyed blonde hair runs out.
"Oh my god, you didn't flop! We were all betting that you'd flop again!" Kara gasps. "I'm so surprised to be here seeing you in the final twelve!"
"Fuck you too." Nichelle rolls her eyes, though she begins laughing immediately after. "I told you all that I wouldn't go pre merge!"
"Don't worry, I was kidding. I always thought you had potential!" Kara elaborates.
"Sammy, here is…" Chris pauses. "Uh, we couldn't find an actual loved one for you. None of your family members wanted to show up and you don't have any friends. Here is Steve!"
Some random hobo walks out as Sammy doesn't even look sad. "Figures." she brushes it off, though people look sympathetic. "Did you not call Jasmine's family though? I'm close to them!"
"Oh, there was something bad that happened to their house." Chris replies nonchalantly, causing Sammy and Shawn to look worried.
"What happened?! Are they okay?" Shawn asks.
"Can you stop interrupting me? They're fine. Now let me continue."

"I hope Chris was just joking to scare me..."

"Tammy, here is your dad, Randy!" Chris says. A stern looking middle aged balding man walks out.
"I made the final twelve!" Tammy tells her dad.
"I can tell." Randy says with an awkward tone, as he doesn't want to flat out say he's shocked.
"I know you're shocked, dad. I have a lot of explaining to do." Tammy essentially reads his mind. Randy nods as Chris is ready to wrap this up.
"And, for the final person. Lightning, welcome your dad, Thunder!" Chris says.
"His name is Thunder?!" MK asks with a shocked tone.
"Why are you surprised?" Chet asks. Enough about them, as Lightning looks excited.
"Wait, he's actually here?!" Lightning's face lights up more and more as the seconds go by. Cody looks surprised at this too. "Where is he, Lightning wants to see him!"
Moments pass, and Thunder doesn't make his appearance. "Thunder, come out!" Chris repeats with annoyance. Before Lightning's smile can fade, Thunder slowly walks out while holding a phone to his ear.
"I'm a little busy here, John. Oh… there's another training session soon?" Thunder is having a conversation on the phone. Lightning, who is just excited to see him, is still smiling despite the lack of focus on his father's part.
"Pops, I'm so happy you came!" Lightning opens his arms for a hug.
"Gordon is causing trouble again? Maybe we need to suspend him, that will teach him a lesson." Thunder continues the conversation while ignoring Lightning, causing everyone to look on quietly.
"This is a true downright jinkies." Mary breaks the silence. Raj nods in agreement as Lightning puts his arms down.
"Pops?"
Thunder looks up. "Hey." he says before looking annoyed. "Just suspend him, it's not hard!"
"Okayyy…" Chris drawls, deciding to move on as Lightning frowns. "Anyways, loved ones, take your seats on the bench. You will watch as the campers compete for reward! Whoever comes in first will win the loved ones' visit on a cruise!"
"A cruise?!" Chet asks.
"Yup! You will spend the night on a cruise with your loved one, nice stuff." Chris smiles. "Now get ready!"

"Mom deserves a nice day here, I need to win this!"

"Call me an overstepper, but Lightning's dad is seriously pissing me off! You flew all the way out here for Lightning, get off the phone and pay attention to your son who is clearly thrilled to see you! It's clear Lightning still cares about his dad, I wish it was reciprocated."

"I just need to win this challenge, he'll take notice!"

We see everyone lined up out of the water. "Alright, this is for reward! Ready… go!"
Everyone jumps into the water. All of the loved ones except for Thunder are cheering their player on.
"You better win this!" Lucy shouts at Josee, always expecting a victory from her daughter.
We see Josee struggling to untie a knot. "This is so stupid…" she grumbles to herself.
"I know, right? I can't untie this!" Raj complains. A second later, he looks stunned. "Wait, how am I talking under water?!"
Josee doesn't respond.
We see Lightning quickly scrambling for a ball. Cody is quickly untying balls.
Confessional: Cody
"Good thing I took that knot tying class!"

Cody notices that Lightning is looking worried about losing. He swims and hands Lightning two balls. Lightning gives a grateful nod.
We see MK and Nichelle both grab a ball at the same time. Nichelle kicks MK away, though not too far as her kicks are only so strong underwater. Once Nichelle unties it, MK takes the ball for herself. Nichelle grabs her ankle and pulls her back, causing a fight to break out.
Elsewhere, everyone else has collected at least one ball while Lightning and Cody already have their third. Both run up to their station.
"Come on, Cody!" Dan cheers his cousin. Cody's weak throw is nowhere near the first platform. Lightning easily scores his first two.
"Oh, this was quick." Jessica complains.
"How is Josee not even close to winning?" Lucy whines as Lightning scores his last ball.
"And Lightning wins the reward!" Chris announces. The loved ones bench politely claps with the exception of Lucy as Lightning cheers his head off.
"Oh yeah, I did it!" Lightning jumps up as Cody gives him a high five. "Pops, I won! Did you see that?!"
He looks over and sees Thunder still on the phone, not even noticing that the challenge has concluded. "Dad?"
Dan elbows Thunder, causing him to look up. "Oh, good job." he says before seeming angry at the man he's talking to.
Once everyone swims out of the water, they're all gathered up as Chris talks to Lightning. "Lightning won the reward and will go on the cruise with his father… but just two people is lame, we paid too much for that few people to go on board! Lightning, pick someone and their loved one to join you!"
Lightning doesn't even hesitate. "Cody."
"Thanks!" Cody runs up to Lightning, Dan trailing behind.
"Pick another." Chris states, causing Lightning to take a bit more time.
"Uh… Tammy!" Lightning chooses.
"Another."
"How many people are going on this cruise?" Lightning asks in shock. "Uh… Shawn."
"Another."
"Sha-damn! Raj!"
"One last person, and that's it." Chris says, causing Lightning to look over at who's left. Chet looks like he's about to plead, but Lightning quickly chooses MK.
"And that's it! Lightning, Cody, Tammy, Shawn, Raj, and MK will go on the cruise with their loved ones. As for the rest of you… your loved ones will actually stay with you, but just at camp!" Chris announces, causing everyone to look shocked.
"Wow, you're being really nice." Shawn notes.
"Again, not my idea." Chris waives it off. "Anyways, the cruise is about to arrive!"
Confessional: Chet
"He's lucky that we got to still see our families anyways. Why would he choose people like Raj, Tammy, or Shawn over me?"

"I wish Lightning didn't pick me. Picking Tammy and I defeats the purpose of this being a secret alliance."

We see the six people going on the reward enter the cruise with their loved ones. "This is so sick!" Raj smiles as he looks around.
"Sick? Is there a trash can around?" Randy asks with concern.
"That's not what sick means in that context, dad." Tammy shakes her head.
"Oh."
Before any more conversation continues, Chef walks up to the group. "Alright, you all have a room with yourself and your loved one, let the cruise staff show you. I'm cooking for you later tonight."
…
We cut back to the camp. Staci's grandpa Jimmy looks disapprovingly at the shelter. "This shelter looks terrible! And I would know, Eve invented shelters."
"Haha, Eve always had talent!" Staci laughs.
"Sorry we didn't build a mansion." Nichelle glares.
"Get better." Jimmy responds.
"You would break both of your hips trying to build something half as good." Nichelle shades.
"True, be less judgmental." Mary agrees. Moments later, her sister tugs on her arm.
"We need to catch up, I need to know what you've been doing!" Jessica seems eager. With a thumbs up, the sisters make their exit.
"Want to do the same?" Nichelle asks her sister.
"Sure, but I'm staying here, too lazy to walk more." Kara states, getting a laugh out of Nichelle.
"We need to catch up too, Sammy!" Steve the hobo says.
"I don't even know you!"

"I've mostly been social with the same people for months, seeing my sister is such a breath of fresh air."

We cut back to the cruise, but we're in the room with Tammy and her father. "I haven't been able to afford something this nice in years." her father says as he feels the bed.
"I know, I'm so glad Lightning picked me!" Tammy says. There is a moment of silence before her dad speaks up again.
"This is off topic, and I might regret asking this, but why didn't you try to use some spell during the challenge? You would always try to retrieve things you dropped in the pool with spells." Randy asks in a dry tone.
Tammy sighs. "I'm going to make this quick because I don't like talking about the magic thing with you… but you were right, I was a fool for ever believing it was real."
"Glad you finally came to your senses, it was embarrassing. But why do you still wear the viking hat?"
"Because I can still cosplay and use my imagination for stuff, I'm not going to let you take that away from me." Tammy replies. After a hum of acknowledgment, Randy sighs.
"You must be doing something right to have made it this far, so I'll trust your judgment for now. If I see something stupid with magic on the TV when they air this season, I won't be happy." Randy replies.
"I think I'm fine regarding the magic… but I've done some stupid stuff outside of it." Tammy groans. "Anyways, there's supposed to be dinner in the evening, so prepare for that."

"I decided to not take crap there. I know my dad is a tough person, it's what led me to rebel. I think he'll be proud once he sees everything I've done to be more than what I was at the start!"

Elsewhere, we see Cody with his cousin Dan in their room. "Now that I think about it, I'm not too shocked your parents didn't send anything. My parents always talk about how weird they are." Dan shrugs. "I know we don't talk that much, but I'm glad to be here for you."
"Thanks." Cody smiles. "I can't believe I'm the last one standing from my generation. If I was told I'd do this well seven years ago, I wouldn't believe it!"
"Neither would I!" Dan responds, causing Cody to pull out a fake gasp.
"I can't believe you would say that about me!"
After that moment of levity, Dan speaks up again. "So… is everyone treating you well?"
"Yup! I've made a lot of good friends here. Sammy, MK, and especially Lightning have been fun to meet. Apparently I knew MK for years because our mutual friend- whose grandpa died of lung cancer- played video games with us online!" Cody answers.
"I wouldn't have pegged you to be close with MK or Lightning before coming here, but I clocked the Lightning thing pretty easily once I actually saw you two together." his cousin smirks.
Cody pauses. "How?"
"I saw how you were basically helping him in the challenge. I would do my best to win this, you'd have to be friends to throw out the cruise." Dan answers with a laugh.
"Eh… this reward isn't as important to me as it is to him." Cody shrugs. "I appreciate when we talk, but we aren't that close."
Dan hums in agreement. "I guess you're right, but we can hopefully change that in the future." he says, causing Cody to smile. "If there's ever a situation like this again, we need you to try for yourself!"
"Oh stop, I was just helping a friend." Cody laughs it off, though it causes Dan to look in thought.
"Maybe the television edit in his first seasons was missing something, because he didn't seem friend material at all."
"He's very much like what you see on television, but there's more to him than that. I just hope this reward is going well for him too…" Cody ponders the possibility of the awkwardness continuing.
…
"Pops?" Lightning looks nervous as his father is still on the phone. Thunder listens to this and temporarily pulls the phone away from his ear.
"I'm sorry about this, it's bad timing. I'm almost done though, we can talk soon." Thunder states, getting a smile out of Lightning.
"I've waited this long, a few more minutes won't hurt…" Lightning mutters as he sees a piece of paper in his bed. Since everyone in some form got the loved ones reward, you get an extra prize for winning the challenge! This is a clue to the final hidden immunity idol in this game. "Sha-sweet! Pops, do you see this… oh right, the phone."

"I won't need it because I'll keep winning immunities from here on out, but the more power Lightning has, the better!"

Elsewhere, we see MK and her brother Carl looking at the sea together. "I can't believe that we of all people are seeing this view." Carl is in awe.
"I know, dad could barely pay rent, let alone a trip." MK agrees.
"And I'm surprised someone even chose you for a reward like this." Carl shades.
"Same, but I guess I'm just a social butterfly now, being his last pick and all." MK replies dryly. She notices Carl being hunched over. "I'll put another stick in your back if you don't stand up straight."
"Ugh, sorry. I don't know how you do it, you're the one who plays video games all day."
"Skill issue."
Carl rolls his eyes. "I'm going to find that beanie guy and get my bag back, see you soon!"
"Bye." MK waves. She turns around to see Raj's father slowly walk towards her. He looks at her, causing her to raise an eyebrow. Raj runs towards the two.
"Dad, why did you wander off?" Raj asks.
"Let me explore!"
"You don't have your cane with you, let's head back." Raj denies.
"Yeah, you don't want to fall down, life alert won't save you." MK states.
"Alright, fine." Kamal agrees before looking at MK. He turns to Raj. "That girl cares if I fall, when will you bring someone like her home?"
"Excuse me?" MK raises an eyebrow.
"You seem like someone who will make a guy happy one day, what do you think of Raj?" he asks, causing Raj to facepalm.
"Ma'am, can you take him to the tables?" Raj asks a woman working on the ship. With a nod, the woman helps take his dad away.
"What was that?!" MK looks stunned.
"My dad likes Bowie, but I don't think he understands that he's sticking around." Raj comments before he and MK begin laughing. "That was so awkward, I'm sorry!"
"It's cool, that's the one time a father will ever be excited to potentially see me as their child's girlfriend." MK replies while still laughing. "We could have been the ultimate gay guy and lesbian couple!"

Once the laughter of the awkward situation subsides, the reality of these two conflicting individuals sets in. Raj wants to bring something up, so he begins a conversation. "So, uh… what have you been up to?" Raj asks.
"Existing, nothing much."
That lame response doesn't end the conversation, as Raj has a follow up. "What happened with you and Kitty in the cave?" he asks before there is a pause. MK groans.
"I'm going to do something very rare, and that's to be honest. Chet and I were planning on sabotaging her, and I was fine with it. But then she saved me from a bear and I thought we were going to stop because of human decency, but Chet did it anyway and I feel kind of bad." MK admits.
"Did she do anything to warrant being targeted other than being a Yellow Team member? Or is this because of Julia, I heard what Kitty said about their beef!" Raj interrogates.
"It was because Chet wanted Yellow Team members out." MK says, causing Raj to tense up.
"Does Chet still want them out? Because that would mean…" Raj trails off, the implication of him being the last member of the team standing being clear as glass.
"We were targeting Nichelle before the Millie drama happened, not you. I think Chet is finally realizing that holding a grudge over Lorenzo is stupid. I'm not after you, because I'm still down to target Nichelle if she doesn't win immunity." MK says. "Look, I know we've never seen eye to eye. I stole your beards, I cheated and you didn't want to, and our partners hate each other, but I'm willing to look past it to take out the actual big threats- the Fire Team. What do you say?"
"You didn't need to make the big inspirational speech before the last period, MK." Raj says. "I know they're scary players, so I'm in!"

"I hope he takes my word with the Kitty stuff, I was being honest in saying that I felt bad. I was even more honest about the Fire Team thing. Nichelle probably holds more of a grudge about our season than Raj. And more importantly, I think it would 100% win Sammy back."

"I hope what she says is true about Chet, because he was starting to make me mad, especially after the Kitty thing. It was 77 days ago, Chet!"

We cut back to camp where Josee, Chet, Nichelle, and their loved ones are. "Why didn't Lightning pick me for the reward?" Chet asks.
"We don't care." Josee responds coldly.
"Hey!"
"It's true. We didn't get picked either, and you don't see us whining right now. Your mom is here anyways." Nichelle says.
"Yeah Chet, look on the bright side." Kathy puts a hand on her son's shoulder.
"We should be on that cruise right now, I'm very disappointed." Lucy glares at Josee, causing Josee to roll her eyes.
"I know."
"Who cares, it wasn't for immunity." Nichelle says.
"I care! Just because it's not for immunity doesn't mean losing is acceptable!" Lucy replies, causing Nichelle and Chet to look annoyed.

"I think winning reward challenges is stupid, it will just put a target on your back. Either you become a challenge threat, or someone will cry over who you pick to go with you. It's just not worth it."

Elsewhere, we see Mary with her sister. "I'm glad you're doing better than last time. Do you think you can make it to the end?" Jessica asks.
"I think so, and quite easily at that. Staci will follow everything I say, and a lot of the other players are quite strategically handicapped. People like Lightning, Raj, Sammy, and Chet won't pose a threat. And everyone else who I consider a threat is a target like Nichelle, Josee, and Shawn. I feel confident in my chances." Mary says.
"Don't get cocky Mary, that could backfire." Jessica says with concern.
"Perhaps, but nothing has backfired on me before. When people like Noah, Bowie, and Scott tried to go after me, I easily won the battles and took them out of the game. I really think I have a shot at this, Jess." Mary looks determined.
"I hope you do too, just something to think about. I know you planned a lot for this season and came up with a lot of strategies." Jessica states.
"Indeed, and I've come up with some new ones." Mary says. "I've also done a good job at getting advantages."
"That's awesome! What do you have?"
"I found an idol months ago that I still haven't needed to use, and I got an advantage I can use at the final 5 when I make it." Mary sounds overly sure of herself. "I had to do a lot of work to get that one."
"Did Chris make you jump in shark infested water? That man is crazy!" Jessica worries.
"No. Someone who gets eliminated has to lend the advantage away. I had to get Sky to trust me, then eliminate her without voting for her so she'd give me it." Mary says as Staci walks nearby this conversation. "I made up this lie about having a dead sister to bond with her, so if anyone mentions a dead sister, please just go along with it."
"Oh… I don't know how I'd feel about doing that." Jessica grimaces. "That seems really low, why would you lie about that?"
"I needed to court a number because she could have been flipping sides, it was nothing personal." Mary shrugs. "She got really mad when I told her the truth."
"And I don't really blame her."
"Why? It's a game." Mary looks confused.
"There are lines you don't cross, Mary." Jessica shakes her head. "I'm not here to act morally superior, but I just wouldn't stoop that low."
After an awkward silence, Mary shakes her head. "It's 10 million dollars."

"Jessica thinks it's too far? I like my sister and everything, but she hasn't ever been that competitive. I think I know the limits of a game like this more than she does."

We cut to Sammy who is chewing on some tree bark by herself. That quickly changes as Nichelle walks nearby. Sammy notices this and raises an eyebrow. "Shouldn't you be with your sister right now?" she asks.
"She's chilling at camp. I was just going to find something for her to eat since we missed out on the cruise." Nichelle replies. "Where is that guy assigned you?"
"Uh…"
We get a cut of Steve in a ditch, which was prompted by him annoying Sammy.
"On a walk!" Sammy decides that's her lie. She notices Nichelle looking at the tree bark. "Don't judge me, I learned this from Shawn."
"Alright." Nichelle nods, this not coming as a shock to her. There's an awkward silence, though Nichelle breaks it. "Sorry that the random person was your loved one."
Sammy looks surprised. "Uh, why?"
"Basic empathy? I don't know, having no one show up isn't exactly ideal, especially if what Chris said wasn't a joke." Nichelle puts a hand on her hip.
"You're right about that. Thanks I guess, you're the first person who's asked me about it. But I'm fine and used to it." Sammy doesn't seem bothered.

"The further I get into this game, the more confident I feel in my abilities. I think about Amy less and less everyday, and I'm proud of myself for not letting myself cry about no loved one. I've made some great friends here, and I have Jasmine. I'm not alone!"

We cut to everyone on the cruise reward and their loved ones gathered around a table. The first thing we see is Thunder putting the phone down. "Rudolph, I'm so sorry about that. I got into a debate about how to handle a player, and you know how stressful that is." Thunder apologizes. Lightning smiles now that he has finally been acknowledged.
"It's alright pops, at least you can talk now!" Lightning says with glee. As they begin a conversation, we see Shawn and MK's brother arguing while grappling for the bag the latter dropped earlier.
"You threw away the bag, it's mine!" Shawn says.
"I want it back!" Carl argues.
"I have an easy solution!" MK gets up and throws the bag overboard. "I hope the fish enjoy it!"
"You're such a bitch…" Carl complains.
"I know, now sit down." MK points to a chair. With a huff, her brother and Shawn both sit down, and now everyone is gathered around the table. Chef walks in while rolling some food down to the campers.
"Take what you want." he says before walking off. Chef is the most relevant character.
"Alright, I-" Tammy cuts herself off before saying anything else as she looks at MK before looking at the food. "Uh, I'm going to go to the bathroom."
"Couldn't you have done that before coming here?" MK inquires.
"Shut up." is Tammy's response as she makes her exit. The camera pans over to Raj and Cody talking while their loved ones eat.
"Last night was chaotic, wasn't it?" Cody makes conversation.
"Yeah, it was like watching both sides fight over the puck for ages, it stresses you out." Raj shakes his head at the memory. "But you and Lightning are still here, so that's sick!"
"Shh, you don't want Tammy's dad to think you're sick again." Cody shushes Raj jokingly. "But I never really thanked you. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have known that Millie was targeting Lightning. I'm not sure if we would've been able to scramble enough numbers in time to send her out without you."
"Oh, you're welcome for that! I have a better history with you guys than I do with Millie." Raj states, the memories of Bowie's drama with Millie making it so they weren't ever too close. "I guess I caused her elimination, I hope she isn't upset."
"She seemed more mad at Chet and Lightning." Cody replies. "Anyways, uh… do you think we will continue to work together? You were on the Earth Team, and I'm not sure if you want to vote another Water Team member off or not."
"Uh… I don't really trust the Earth Team, except for maybe Tammy." Raj says. "Mary is so sketchy."
Cody raises an eyebrow. "Mary, huh? I remember Sammy not being too fond of her either, but I don't think targeting her right now is smart when the Fire Team members are still in."
"I know, but please keep an eye on her! She's been saying these things that remind me of what Noah was saying in phase 1." Raj states, causing Cody to raise an eyebrow.

"I don't want to pull a Millie and be too quick to act on targeting someone, I need to take my time and test the waters. Last time I didn't test the waters before jumping in, Wayne and I almost drowned!"

We cut to MK and Shawn talking. "Why did Lightning even pick you? I don't think I've seen you two talk like… ever." MK ponders, causing Shawn to bite his lip.
"Um, I'm not sure either! I doubt he put much thought into it." Shawn says.
"He doesn't put much thought into anything, so you might be right." MK agrees. Shawn quickly walks off after this.
As Shawn walks off, he bumps into Tammy. "Oh, hi. Did you finish going to the bathroom?" Shawn asks. "You need to try the food, it is good!"
Tammy hesitates. "I don't know… maybe if you brought me some. I don't want to eat in front of MK, it will be embarrassing." Tammy frowns, causing Shawn to raise an eyebrow.
"What would be embarrassing about it? It's just eating." Shawn looks confused.
Tammy sighs. "Let me tell you something."

"I hate that I let that get in my head so much, I should just enjoy the reward like a normal person…"

"MK sounds like a menace after what Tammy told me! Why would she treat her ally like that and make her afraid of eating in front of her? The alliance with the Earth Team should take her out next. That combined with her cheating makes her a no brainer target."

We cut to MK, Raj, Lightning, and Cody still at the table with their loved ones. "My teams always lost the least amount of members each phase, that means I was the MVP of team challenges, and I won this reward! I'm playing one of the best games ever!" Lightning tells his dad, who is nodding along and looking impressed.
"I wouldn't expect anything less from you, son. You inherited my skill!" Thunder looks happy.
"And I only have to get through eleven more people, I'm going to win!" Lightning seems confident.
"Way to tell us how bad we are." MK rolls her eyes.
"Am I supposed to root for you all of a sudden?" Lightning asks. "Anyways, I-"
Lightning gets cut off by his dad's phone ringing again. "Again?!" he complains.
"Please don't take it, just wait until this reward is done!" Lightning looks nervous and begins to plead. His pleas fall on deaf ears though, as Thunder already accepted the call and begins talking.
"That's a bit of a yikes." MK comments. Lightning frowns before standing up and walking out, causing Raj and MK to exchange a glance as Cody looks angry. After a few minutes, Thunder hangs up the call.
"Alright, I… where is he?" Thunder looks confused when he doesn't see Lightning.
"He left." Raj explains.
"Why?"
"What do you mean why? It should be obvious!" Cody glares.
"Cody, maybe calm down, this isn't your business." Dan has a look of concern. This concern gets ignored, as Cody continues talking.
"You basically just showed up to ignore your son, I'm surprised you even came after you were too busy to write a letter! It's obvious that Lightning just wants your attention, but apparently a stupid phone call that you could've waited to take is more important! You don't even realize how bad of a father you're being!" Cody yells before also storming off, causing everyone to look shocked.

"Wow, Tammy has been in the bathroom for 30 minutes!" her father says out of the blue.

"That was probably rude of me to comment to his face, but I couldn't stand it anymore!"

We cut back to camp, where Mary and Chet are talking without their loved one. "So if Raj didn't win immunity last night, would you have voted for him to go home?" Mary questions.
"No, he was never a serious consideration." Chet says truthfully as his original pre challenge target was Nichelle.
"That's good! And do you think he'll be a target if he loses the immunity challenge, or will you target someone more threatening like a Fire Team member?" Mary asks.
"A Fire Team member. Raj might be an evil person, but everyone else wants a Fire Team member gone…" Chet responds.
"Alright." Mary nods. "But why don't we take things a step further for you to fully get over your Yellow Team hatred… maybe you need to befriend Raj."
"WHAT?"

"Not voting a Yellow Team member is one thing, but befriending?! That might be a step too far!"

We cut to Cody knocking on Lightning's door. "Lightning? Can I come in?" he asks. After hearing a yes, Cody opens the door and sits next to Lightning, who is on a bed. "I'm sorry about that…"
"It ain't your fault, but it's still more disappointing than Millie's challenge performances." Lightning replies.
"Let's not go that far." Cody jokes, causing Lightning to laugh a little. The joking mood is gone though as Cody gains a more serious look. "You might not be happy with me for this, but I kind of snapped at your dad. He got off the phone and didn't even notice you left before then."
Lightning looks a little surprised. "Uh… what did you say?"
"I called him out for ignoring you." Cody answers. "I left before he could respond though."
After a brief moment of silence, Lightning speaks. "That's fine with me. Thanks for sticking by the Lightning's side!"

"I can't be too mad… it's my fault for thinking things would be different- did I just say something was my fault?!" Lightning looks stunned at himself. "You didn't hear that! Whatever, I have other people who actually care for me now. I should just move on…"

Cut to immunity challenge
We see twelve lanes with a small obstacle course and a podium at the end of each of the lanes. The cruise campers and the camp campers (haha) arrive at the same time, their loved ones still with them. "Welcome final 12! You must be wondering why I'm generous enough to have your loved ones still with you, wasn't one day enough? Potentially, but you're going to be competing in this immunity challenge with them!" Chris explains, causing everyone to gasp.
"Don't mess this up for me, Steve!" Sammy raises her fist at the hobo.
"I won't, I promise!" Steve replies in fear.
"Enough of that. Before we begin, I'm going to need to take the immunity necklaces back." Chris says. Raj and Josee walk up to him and Chris takes them off before the duo heads back to the group.
"I'll win you back." Josee says while looking at the necklace.
"Your challenge is simple. The campers will have to guide their loved ones through their lane with their voice, because their loved one will be blindfolded! You have to make it to the end of the course, the first loved one to make it across wins immunity for their player!" Chris explains.

"Good thing I don't feel in danger, because if my game depended on my dad with a trick knee trying to get through an obstacle course, I would cry. And when I cry on March 25th, I cry snow!"

We see everyone lined up. "Please have Lightning's dad take a phone call right now so we can stand a chance…" MK mutters under her breath as she looks at her unathletic brother.
"Are you ready? Ready or not, go!" Chris announces.
"Steve, run straight for 20 steps!" Sammy says with no expectations that this will actually work. In a twist of fate, Steve does this perfectly. "Didn't expect that, but good job Steve!"
We hear everyone shouting various directions, with some duos doing better than others. "Dad, move a little to your left! There's a log in your way!" Raj shouts.
"Huh?" his dad replies before rubbing his ear. "Can you repeat that?"
"There's a log in your way, move a little to the left!" Raj repeats.
"Left or right?" Kamal asks, not understanding.
"...left!"
His dad moves to the right and trips over a log, causing Raj to facepalm.
We cut to Chet's mom, who is about to run into a ten foot wall, but can avoid it by going right. So to the shock of no one, Chet tells her to do just that. But in a surprising twist, she doesn't listen, and instead backs up before running up, climbing the wall, and doing a front flip off of it, causing the contestants to look impressed. "Mom, that was awesome!" Chet cheers.
"I put you in gymnastics for a reason!" she laughs before continuing.
"Pick your feet up, there are wires!" Lightning yells to his dad, who is following instructions rather well.
"Kara, do not hit a tripwire! There are buckets above you, and I will not allow them to ruin your hair!" Nichelle tells her sister.
"I won't, don't worry." Kara rolls her eyes before proceeding to hit a tripwire. She screams as mud falls into her hair, causing her to run around.
Most of the pairs are relatively even, but MK and Raj are trailing, with Raj being in last. "Dad, step over the tripwire!" Raj shouts.
"Huh?"
"Over the tripwire!" Raj repeats, though this time his dad can actually hear it. Unfortunately though, he doesn't have the best mobility, so he trips on it and falls down. "Are you okay?!"
"Yes…" he grumbles.
"Why didn't you bring your cane with you, you're struggling to walk." Raj frowns.
"I don't need a cane, I'm fine!"
Elsewhere, Mary is saying directions to her sister. "Alright Jessica, let me make a calculation before determining your next step. We may not be efficient this way, but it will ensure that you don't make any mistakes-"
"Mary, just tell me where to go!" Jessica yells, frustrated by the time wasting on Mary's part.
We see Shawn. "Go to your left, there's a pool of red viscous fluid!" Shawn directs, getting the attention of Tammy.
"Did you really just say red viscous fluid? Just say blood." Tammy says.
"Blood?!" Shawn's friend begins to panic before taking off his blindfold and running away.
"Tammy, he's scared of vampires, he doesn't like blood!" Shawn says.
"Oops." Tammy looks guilty before Shawn jumps off his platform and runs after his friend. The camera pans over to Staci's grandpa, who is doing okay, but is now too far away to hear Staci. If only great great great great great great uncle Bo didn't invent deafness, then she could possibly win immunity.
We see Cody, Lightning, Sammy, Chet, and Josee ahead of everyone else. There is a long jump with a pool of water in the middle. After all of them give instructions to their loved ones to make a jump, all of them do so, but only three make it across. Lightning's father, Chet's mother, and Steve the hobo. Cody's cousin doesn't even make it close while Josee's mom barely misses, causing her to shout.
"And Josee's mom doesn't even make the podium of crossing the water!" Chris shades while narrating.
"DIE DIE DIE!"
"Uh oh…"
Now that three duos are left in the running, there is only one thing left to do… running! After Lightning, Chet, and Sammy give instructions, the two loved ones and Steve run as fast as they can to the end of the course now that no obstacles are in sight.

"Thunder crosses first, followed by Steve the Hobo, then Kathy! Lightning wins immunity!" Chris announces, causing Sammy and Chet to look disappointed by the narrow loss. Josee's mother looks salty, but she lost, so nothing can be done there!
"We did it!" Lightning's father cheers as he takes off his blindfold.
"Good job, Lightning." Cody congratulates.
"Thanks." Lightning is shockingly not too animated about this win, but he's still smiling nonetheless.
"Lightning, come over here." Chris says. Lightning walks over and Chris puts the immunity necklace on him. "With this, you cannot be voted out tonight, you have a 1 in 11 shot at winning this thing and the ten million bucks that goes with it."
"Sha-sweet!" Lightning cheers before Chris turns his attention to the others.
"As for the rest of you, I can't say the same thing. One of you is going home tonight. Say goodbye to your loved ones, and then head back to camp."
Sammy walks up to the hobo. "You actually did pretty well, sorry for throwing you in a ditch earlier!"
"You threw him in a ditch?" Staci looks surprised.
"Oops…"
Lightning walks up to his dad. "I'm proud of you for winning the reward and immunity while I was here, son."
"Really? Thanks." Lightning seems pleased but guarded, causing Thunder to sigh.
"I need to apologize to you… I haven't been very good to you since I've been here." Thunder starts, causing MK to pay attention. "Your friend got mad at me last night and it got me thinking about how I've been on my phone too much instead of paying attention to you when we don't even see each other much to begin with. When you get back home, I'm going to make an effort to be in your life more!"
Lightning smiles. "That's what I've been wanting to hear for years!"
MK rolls her eyes.

"Did we really just have a disney or nickelodeon moment where someone just solves their flaws after one lecture or conversation? Why isn't my life this simple!"

We see the former Water Team all gathered. "As an apology for Millie going home, we're thinking of targeting Nichelle." MK states. "Is that good with you, Sammy?"
Sammy looks a bit taken aback. "Of course, thanks for considering me."
"Of course, we don't want to ostracize you." Cody smiles.
"Alright. But we need to make sure the Earth Team is on board." Sammy says.
"Let's get to it."

"We need Sammy to stay on our side, this is the best way to go about it."

We see the Earth and Fire Teams gathered. "Our pact from the last vote is still on, right?" Josee asks.
"Of course it is!" Tammy says.
"Neat. Now, who are we booting?" Nichelle asks.
"Is MK a bad pick?" Shawn asks. "She is a big threat and bad person, we've discussed this before."
"If it wasn't for the Millie thing, she would've gone last time." Raj adds. "That's not a bad idea."
"Any objections?" Mary asks.

Later in the day, we see the Water and Earth Teams gathered. "So, it's Nichelle?" Mary asks. "Splendid thinking, though why not Josee? She won the last immunity challenge."
"That is a good point." Tammy agrees.
"It's just… we think it's the right move. She's not as controversial as Josee, so it's a good choice." Cody explains.
"Right, but shouldn't we target Shawn in that case?"
"No!" Sammy shuts down.
"Agreed." Tammy adds.

"I need to talk to Staci one on one to determine what I actually want to do here, because I'm unsure if voting out one of the Fire Team members in this round is actually the right move for me."

Her confessional is relevant very quickly, as we cut to Staci and Mary. "Staci, I need to ask you a question. If we had to vote for a Water Team member instead of a Fire Team member, who would you want to go with? I know Raj wanted to work with the Water Team, but just in case… what would we do?" Mary questions.
"We shouldn't vote for Chet, haha!" Staci replies.
"Wasn't thinking of it. We can't vote for Lightning because he has immunity, and voting for Sammy isn't beneficial in any way, as she has the least amount of control. Cody and MK are problems in my eyes." Mary states.
"Why?"
"I've noticed that Raj has been around Cody and Lightning more than us as of late, and he was on a phase 2 team with them. MK is another brainiac, and having someone like her around threatens me. But Cody is the bigger social threat which worries me a great amount. He's the closest to Sammy, Lightning, the MK and Chet duo, and now he can take Raj away too." Mary worries. "What if we took him out?"
"Haha, how would we do that? Magic? Don't be stupid!" Staci laughs, causing Mary to roll her eyes.
"We could hope one of them has the idol, and I'm certain at least one of them does. No one has mentioned the original Green Idol being played after all." Mary answers.
"Or we could just vote with them to take out MK, then do Cody next." Staci responds.
"We'd have to get Tammy and Raj on board, and I don't think they're inclined to keep the Fire Team." Mary says.
"Tammy would vote for MK, and I'm sure we can pressure Raj into it! Isn't that what we did with them last time?" Staci asks, causing Mary to give a look of consideration.
"Fair point. Let's agree on who to target."

We cut to Nichelle and Shawn talking. "I'm hoping the MK plan goes smoothly, I'm getting a bit paranoid." Nichelle taps her foot repeatedly.
"Are you sure we have anything to worry about? Shouldn't we be confident?" Shawn asks.
"A healthy degree of paranoia is always good." Nichelle responds. "But like I said, one of the Water Team members needs to go."
"I'm surprised you didn't throw out Sammy… not that I'm complaining." Shawn says with an amused chuckle at the end.
"Yeah… I didn't feel the need this time. People like Lightning and MK are bigger problems in my mind." Nichelle says. "And she hasn't been as irritating as usual, even though her complaining during the pole challenge was still annoying. We actually had a civil conversation yesterday."
"Oh, really?" Shawn looks shocked.
"Yup. Ain't much, but still better than the whole Emerald era."
"Right… uh, got to go!" Shawn says quickly before running off, causing Nichelle to raise an eyebrow.

We see Chet and MK walking together. "I'm glad that there wasn't much of a fight on getting rid of Nichelle, I need her to stick around." MK states. "I'm thinking that we should use Shawn and Josee to take out Tammy next, I'm worried about her targeting me."
"So your strategy is getting rid of those coming after you?" Chet asks in a monotone voice, clearly not being that tuned into the conversation.
"Uh, yeah. Nichelle and Tammy both don't like me." MK replies. Before more conversation can be had, they hear three voices. MK whispers. "Hide, we need to listen."
As the two hide behind a tree, we see Tammy, Shawn, and Lightning. "Are either of us a target?" Shawn asks while looking at Tammy.
"Sha-nope." Lightning states.
"I've made sure you're both good, not that anyone was targeting the Earth Team anyways." Lightning states.
"Yeah, I realize that we're the safe team for now. But don't worry, I have a name that you guys can jump on once we inevitably become targets, even though our team is not that close." Tammy says.
"Wait, uh, who are you targeting?" Shawn asks, changing the topic back to this current vote.
"I'd prefer not to say which team, but I promise that neither of you are going home." Tammy says, causing Shawn to grimace.

"That answer feels like it's a Fire Team member going… should I say something about it or just let Josee go home? I feel like she's the target, and her going would decrease Nichelle and I's threat level. I have other allies to fall back on."

"Huh… it seems like there's a cross team alliance. And I might know the perfect way to exploit that in the future! It could take the target right off my back!"

Raj and Tammy are talking in camp. Raj is making a fire near the shelter, which Tammy takes notice of. "Raj, stop! Do not Amazon that shelter!" Tammy warns him.
"Huh?" Raj looks dumbfounded.
"Does no one here understand Survivor references?!"
"I do, my uncle Mark invented Survivor!" Staci says as she walks in the scene. "Anyways, I want to talk to you both!"

We cut to Nichelle and Josee talking. "I'm so mad at myself for not getting gold in that immunity challenge! I was hoping to clean sweep the whole way." Josee looks frustrated.
"Did you realistically expect to do that? Lightning winning is good, that means that he is going to be a target ahead of you in terms of challenge strength." Nichelle reasons.
"I'd rather beat Lightning… I hope we can send him home soon." Josee says.
"Yeah." Nichelle nods. There's a moment of silence, but it brings some nerves from Nichelle. "I told Shawn this, but I'm worried about the vote. Should I-"
"Greetings." a voice interrupts, that belonging to Mary, causing Nichelle and Josee to look her way.
"Hi Mary, how are you?" Nichelle asks as Josee narrows her eyes.
"I'm going to be blunt. Do either of you have an idol?" Mary questions.
"And why would we tell if we did?" Josee crosses her arms.
"You might want to know something."
Cut to campfire ceremony
"Welcome campers to your second campfire as a merged group. Now that we have a jury, please welcome Millie!" Chris says as the camera turns to Millie sitting on a bench across from the campers. She is holding a notebook.
"I'm going to be taking notes on these eliminations, so-"
"Millie, the jury isn't allowed to talk. Anyways, let's talk about tonight! We started with 100, and the field is quickly thinning! Let's see who's journey gets cut short, get voting!"
We get a quick cut of everyone voting before cutting back to the campfire ceremony.
"If anyone has a hidden immunity idol and wants to play it, now would be the time to do so…"

"Chris." Nichelle smirks, causing everyone to turn their attention to her. "As an actress, I have full rights to say this… some of you need to work on your acting skills, cause you couldn't sell a vote to me."
Everyone looks worried as Nichelle hands her immunity idol to Chris. Mary hides her smile as Raj and Tammy look like they're contemplating playing theirs.
"The rules state that if a hidden immunity idol is played, any votes cast against that player will not count. This is a hidden immunity idol, any votes cast for Nichelle will not count." Chris says. Raj and Tammy decide not to play their idols. "I'll read the votes."

Nichelle smirks as she high fives Josee and Shawn, the latter of which looks surprised but not upset

"I'm surprised it wasn't me…" Sammy mutters to herself before speaking louder. "Sorry Cody."
"Th- this sucks!" Cody gets out, having a disappointed look on his face while Lightning also looks sad.
"It can't be…" he mutters.
"It be." Josee responds, causing Lightning to glare at her.
Cody stands up. "Well… I really didn't want to go out like this. Chet, we started off on rough terms, but you're okay now."
"Just okay?!"
"Sammy, we weren't best friends or anything, but you seem cool. Same with you, Raj, good luck." Cody says.
"Thank you." Raj nods.
"Thank you… too." Sammy says, not wanting to repeat Raj from the line above word from word!
"MK, good luck to you too. You were fun to work with for the short time we had together." Cody says. "I hope we can continue to play together when this is over."
"I'm sorry dude, but we definitely will. Forestcraft for life!"
"True! And finally… Lightning. I didn't ever expect to become friends with you, but I'm glad I did. I hope we can stay in contact when this is all over. I'm rooting for you to win it all and become the first two time winner." Cody tells him. Lightning pulls him into a hug.
"I'll win it for you, Cody!" he says. Cody hugs him back as Chris taps an invisible watch.
"As sweet as this goodbye is, I have a dinner to get to." Chris interrupts.
"Not a shock that your fatass wants dinner." MK shades.
"Shut up. Cody, it's time for you to go." Chris gestures for him to leave. Cody obliges and makes his exit

"The past two days have been such a rollercoaster… and it ended on the worst note possible, the only person here Lightning cared about is sha-gone. My best option is finding that idol and challenge beasting my way to the end!"

"Hopefully that will break up some of the unity against us, but look at my iconicness! I'm the idol queen right there, nine votes went away just like that!" Nichelle snaps her finger. "Mary also made a big mistake… because if she tries to work against us, we now have leverage over her. She told us that everyone else was targeting us because she wanted Cody gone. I was happy to work with her because she was helping us there, but after Noah's warning, the partnership won't last long enough for her to betray us before we can betray her."

"That's awkward… I never actually mentioned that I thought that one of us would be a target, because I thought it would be Josee. I swapped to Cody over MK because Nichelle told me at the last minute. I had no idea Nichelle would play her idol, but I'm glad it worked. I'll just not mention that I thought Josee would go, that way nothing can backfire on me!"

"I didn't even know about that idol until today, and apparently Nichelle had it for months. If Shawn knew about it, then that means they were hiding stuff from me. I'll need to get some answers on that."

And that's a wrap! I'm sorry this took so long to come out, I had the flu and my connection was bad for a while, but I'm good now! Hope the thematic family visit stuff was a nice change of pace.
Cody- RIP. He kind of hung around as long as he did because it's hard to find a logical way to eliminate him and I liked his relationships with Lightning and MK, so I don't mind that he merged. It was a good move to take him out considering the entire Water Team and Raj all had plans to take him very deep into the game, this was the last real chance to take him out.
