Elina walked slowly around in the castle garden, although she was still very weak. The strong male guardian accompanied her, mainly because he didn't want Azura to exhaust herself while she was pregnant.
„I think we walked around enough for today, you should return to your chamber.", Ruby said after a while. Elina knew that he was right, but she didn't want to return to the room the enchantress had assigned to her. Something felt off there, Elina wished she could talk to Azura about it but her husband soon to be wouldn't let her. He was very protective of his fiancée, Maby because he knew something figured Elina, but she decided not to disobey him and followed him back to her room. Suddenly Elina noticed something green moving behind one of the crystal tree's if the garden but after a blink it was gone, maybe she had just imagined things ... maybe. She didn't told Ruby about it, the guardian didn't seem to like her, but which fairy would like a wingless one? Except for Azura and Dandelion there weren't many fairies... Not even the other apprentices of the guardians came to visit her after she had awoken. Little did Elina know that this hadn't been her friend's fault. The enchantress had ordered the guardians to keep them so busy that they couldn't visit Elina. But since she didn't know this Elina started to believe the conversation Ruby had held with another guardian near her room "exigently" that the other students had complained about Elenia being wingless.
The only source of joy she currently had was Bibble who laid onto her bed eating berries looking adorable while doing so.
Elina laid down and waited until Ruby finally left her alone, she pretended to sleep. Once he he had finally left she got up and told Bibble to follow her... Although her powers where gone her strange dreams still where there and her senses told her to investigate the figure from the gardens. Together with Bible she sneaked out through the long crystal corridor back into the gardens. There she began to carefully look around trying to find what she had seen earlier. She had to hide from crystal soldiers from time to time.
After she had walk around a lot she was about to give up until she heard something and walked towards the sound. „...Henna? Are you sure?", heard Elina a well-known voice. „Yes..."; she heard the reply of the same voice?
She hid behind her tree and looked carefully over to talking figure. Elina couldn't believe that she saw Max the second hand of Laverna who was talking through a tiny mirror to Max? What? How was this possible?
„Stay over there and inform me if you get new information..." „Yes I'm in jail remember?" , answered the Max of the mirror. Then the call ended and the Max in front of her turned around...
In the meantime the enchantress had received the news from Flutterfild. „So Henna has returned. And they have captured a fungo..."
„Your majesty, haven't you banished all of the fungo and imprisoned them together with your sister?" , asked one of the guardians. „I focused my powers to imprison her and all that where with her that at the time...", spoke the enchantress. „So the fungo lied.", figured ruby. „Not necessarily, the enchantress used her royal crystal to look after her sister. It showed to her that Laverna and all her minions where still captured. Laverna had created a really powerful illusion as she escaped. Then the enchantress used her crystal to watch the past and saw that she hadn't banished Max with the others. „He really told the truth." „ Ruby send the Queen of Flutterfild a message that I allow her to accept the help of the fungo." „But your majesty, we cannot trust a fungo!" , complained another guardian.
„We have no choice, I saw in my crystal the terrible creatures that Henna sent to Flutterfild, she once was Laverna's student. The fungo might know what to do to stop these creatures. Now go." , ordered the enchantress. Ruby bowed and left, followed by the two other guardians. The enchantress was tired, still week from her sudden sickness so she left to fly a bit outside in the gardens to calm down. Hopefully Henna could be stopped in time, she thought.
Elina had quickly hit herself once Max had turned around, she hoped that he hadn't seen her. She looked around trying to find a way to leave, since she wasn't strong enough to challenge him now. Suddenly Bibble flew towards here blabbering about some new crystal berry he had found in the garden. „I knew I had heard something! "both froze in shock as Max approached them. „Hello Elina, it has been a long time. "
Bibble flew scared into her arms.
In the meantime, Mariposa and her husband had managed to arrive at the palace. After they had quickly explained everything to the Crystalking in private, princess Catalia had let them to a secret library.
„Here you will find, what you are looking for, but be careful no one has been here for last few centuries.", the princess told them and handed them a crystal key. They thanked her and decided to begin their search, hoping that they would find what they were looking for in time...
„Stay away Max, why are you here?", Elina hold Bibble protective. „I could ask you the same child, none of your friends are here... why do you stay at your enemy's home?" , he looked sad at her.
Surprised Elina bowed one of her eyebrows. „What are you talking about?"
„You know what I mean. Don't you think is strange that your friends don't come and visit you. The guardians are preventing them from doing so... Don't you wonder why they always accompany you when you go out, it's like you're their prisoner? They would have left you die if I wouldn't have stop the process when you saved the life of the enchantress..." , he continued.
Elina was shocked, fearing there was truth in his words but she wouldn't trust a minion of Laverna so easily.
„ Why should I trust you, why should I believe you? ", she answered walking backwards. „Your right why should anyone trust a fungo, is almost like trusting a wingless fairy. We have more in common than you think! " , he jelled at ger accidently.
Guards heard him and flew towards them, fast Max ran away while Elina used the rest of her strength to hide herself with Bibble until the guards left, before she continued to return to her room. She had almost reached the door, unnoticed from the guards.
Suddenly a hand grabbed her from behind and pulled her away...
