I wake up, feeling refreshed while remembering what happened the last few weeks.

I defeated Aron and now Lync's the only one left on my list.

I head downstairs and eat my early breakfast, thinking how I should defeat Lync since he's a Ventus Brawler.

Once I'm done eating my breakfesst, I head back to my room to change outfits and take my gear.

Mom's not going to work since she has a day off today but I should help her with groceries after my battle today.

I step outside and on my shoulders is none other than Dual Hydranoid and Delta Dragonoid.

So a few days ago, I accidentally created a chip that could enhance my Bakugan's power when they're in battle.

Somehow, it connected to my Gauntlet during the experiment and then, trying to stop the process before anything bad could happen, pressed two random buttons from it.

Because of that, my Dragonoid and Hydranoid can talk like any Guardians Bakugans and not only that but both of them evolved during our training for the tournament.

"So boss, where to? Am I going to be the one who destroys Lync?" Dual Hydranoid asks with glee.

"How about we head to the tournament and then I can crush him, Dual Hydranoid?" Delta Dragonoid retorts back.

"No one asked your opinion, lizard!"

I could say the same thing to you reptile!"

"Lizard!"

"Reptile!"

"Lizard!"

"Reptile!"

"Are you two done yelling? We'll go to the tournament and then we can crush Lync together, okay?" I tell them before the two nods their heads in agreement, ending their feud.

Today is the day where I will get my revenge.

My training and battles in the past has lead me to this day.

I arrive at there, a sadistic grin etched on my face.

Lync Volan, today is the day of reckoning and I promise you this.

YOU WILL BEG FOR MERCY.

-Timeskip-

I sit down and looking at Lync who just defeated a Darkus Brawler before he tilts his head at the sight of me flipping him off before he leaves the arena.

I'm going to enjoy watching you suffer Lync.

I walk to the stadium and at the left side of the corner is none other than Lync.

"Ladies and gentlemen! On the right side of the corner is none other than the Underdog, Takuya Kurosaki!" The MC shouts as he then points his finger at me before I thrust my fist in the air, a fake smile on my face as I stare at the people around me.

I'll take Saurus back and get some nice experience out all of this.

"And on the left side of the corner is none other than one of the Vestals and still the Bakugan champion is Lync Volan!" The MC says as he proceeds to points his finger at Lync before the Ventus Brawler waves his hands at the crowd.

"Alright then contestants! Let the final battle BEGIN!" The MC says as he raises his hand for this moment which then shows that the field around the arena changes into a windy battlefield with tornadoes around me and Lync.

This is the moment I've been waiting for.

"Gate Card set!" I shout as I throw the card on thw ground which begins to glow around the field array.

"Bakugan brawl! Bakugan stand! Go, Darkus Dual Hydranoid." I call out, throwing Hydranoid in as he materializes in front of me with a roar that could split the sky in half.

"Hmph, not bad Takuya. He's going to be a decent steal compared to that Saurus of yours." Lync remarks snarkily, making me grit my teeth as I am once again reminded of my defeat to him.

"Shut up and fight already!" I yell throughout the stadium.

"Geez, you're no fun but fine. I guess I can entertain you. Bakugan Brawl, Bakugan Stand. Rise, Darkus Saurus."

Saurus materializes in front of both of us and Dual Hydranoid looks at Lync with pure hatred and a reflection of my past self overlaps that of Lync's as I'm then taken to much more simpler times.

If only I could've won against Lync that day.

If only I've prepared more.

Then maybe...

Then I could've defeated him and maybe Yuna and Yukio wouldn't have to file for a divorce.

"Triple Ability Activate! Darkus Gazer plus Grand Down and Fusion Ability Activate! Destruction Impact!" I shout, putting all three cards inside of my Gauntlet as Hydranoid's power increase by 300 Gs.

He then fires off a purple mass at Saurus, who falls over then turns to ball form and comes back to his rightful owner, which is me.

"Lync Volan Life Point: 63%."

"Grr... You won't be laughing from now on!" Lync vows, picking up a Gate Card from his pouch and then throws it at the arena, with it disappearing right after.

"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Rise, Ventus Altair."

"Altair Power Level: 500Gs." The Gauntlet reads out.

"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Let's go, Pyrus Delta Dragonoid!"

Draco, which is the nickname he chose for himself, has three sleek horns and a hard plated armor in ball mode with chrome rings. He has an extra set of wings and a pitchfork tail.

"Delta Dragonoid Power Level: 500Gs." The Gauntlet reads out again.

"Now then, I think it's time I put you back into your place, Takuya. Ability Activate, Shock Cannon!" Lync shouts, putting an Ability Card in his Gauntlet, which then glows green for a few seconds before Altair fires off a green blast of energy at Draco.

"Altair Power Level: 1000Gs."

"Double Ability Activate! Fire Tornado plus Wall Burst!" I shout, putting two Ability Cards inside of my Gauntlet as Draco summons a pillar of fire, which then transforms into a tornado and protects him from Altair's attack.

"Delta Dragonoid Power Level: 800Gs."

That's it.

I'm going on the offensive.

"Triple Ability Activate! Draconic Enforcement plus D Strike Attack and Fusion Ability Activate! D Strike Extreme!" I shout as Draco glows a crimson red before a meteor storm appears in the sky.

It seems that they are aimed at Altair, who tries its best to manuever around but unfortunately, it's not enough as Draco fires off a huge fireball from his mouth, which then hits the Mechanical Bakugan and it is forced into ball form.

"Lync Volan Life Point: 18%."

"How... how is this possible?" Lync mutters, falling to his knees in shock.

"Because you're weak compared to your group of Vexos. I'm not finished with you yet." I say with venom laced in my voice.

Lync stands up and picks a Gate Card from his pouch and and then throws it at the arena, with it disappearing right after.

"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Go Altair!"

Altair rises once again from the confines of its ball form.

"Alright then, Draco. Let's end this guy for good." I tell my Pyrus partner.

"I'm in Takuya." He replies before turning into a ball, which I pick up with a quick swipe.

"LET'S GO! Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Let's rock, Pyrus Draco" I shout as Draco once again appears on the battlefield, ready for battle.

"Ability Activate! Spinal Saucer!" Lync commands, putting an Ability Card in his Gauntlet, which then glows green as Altair glows green as well.

"Altair Power Level: 700Gs." My Gauntlet reads out.

Just then, two tiny saucers appear from Altair's wings and fire off some small energy balls at Draco.

Like that's gonna do anything against us.

"Triple Ability Activate! Fire Tornado plus Wall Burst and finally, Meteor Strike Dragon!" I shout, using the same technique I used to defeat Altair a few minutes ago.

Draco summons a pillar of fire once more to protect himself from the energy blasts, which fade away when they hit the wall of fire.

"Delta Dragonoid Power Level: 800Gs." My Gaunlet reads out to me.

He then spews out a huge fireball from his mouth at Altair, who shuts down on its own so it is much easier for the fireball to hit it.

The mechanical Bakugan then transforms into ball form and goes back to Lync, who's flabbergasted and definetely embarrassed.

I head out of the place with a smug smile on my face, leaving him to sulk in his defeat.

With nothing left to do here, I think it's time that I head back home.

Just then, [Notification] screen pops up in front of me so I decide to take a look at it.

Quest completed.

Burning Vengeance

Objective: Defeat Lync Volan and Aron Newman

Rewards: 2500 BP, Darkus Saurus, Darkus Atchibee, Ability Card: Healing Darkness and Gate Card: Absolute Zero.

Excellent but I think I need a better Bakugan.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm glad that Saurus's back on the team but there isn't much that he, Reaper and Atchibee can do apart from giving us an advantage in numbers.

Plus, I can always find something that's just better than those three combined.

With that decision made, I decide to sell three of my Darkus Bakugan, giving me 1500 BP for my troubles.

I take a look at the [Shop] to see what Bakugan I could get with my remaining Battle Points.

There's a few that peak my interest but in the end, I settle for two Bakugans.

They are Haos Percival and Ventus Ingram, which have the potential to become Chaos Bakugan, something that could be interesting to have for myself.

As for the three remaining attributes, I'll have to think about it but I most definetely want Leonidas if he's able on the [Shop].

Looks like I'll need quite a bit before he can join the team.

Finally entering my house, I take off my shoes and head straight to my room since it looks like Yuna isn't at home.

I lay on my bed and soon enough, I fall asleep, entering the realm of dreams.
