Let's begin!

-Timeskip-

I wake up feeling refreshed while remembering what happened in the last few months.

After defeating Lync, I began focusing on gaining as many Battle Points as possible so I could get Leonidas, which led to me entering many tournaments to do so.

I was able to eventually buy my sought-after Bakugan, and from there, we proceeded to destroy the competition in the most brutal way possible.

That earned me the nickname 'Battle God Takuya' for how ruthless and Leonidas I was on the battlefield.

The strange thing is, I haven't seen Lync since his defeat, but I have seen Volt and a few other Vexos around. All they do is observe the tournaments, and it's only when I fight that they show a good amount of interest.

I suspect that they might be trying to recruit to their cause, but I don't care for it since I plan on joining the resistance soon and helping them fight the good fight.

With all six attributes of Leonidas, I should be able to defeat them.

Speaking of which...

I hop on my motorbike, which is one of the many gifts I got from the tournament, and drive to the desert.

The reason is to try and find either Dan or Mira since one might lead me to the other, and then I'll be able to assist the resistance in getting rid of the Vexos.

I spot a Vexos ship heading further in the direction I'm going, making me smirk as I know exactly who that ship belongs to.

No, all I need is for a portal to appear, and I'm guaranteed a spot in the resistance.

I go to the shop feature on the Game and take a look at all of the Bakugan, especially the Guardians Bakugans since I want something that can set me up for life when I defeat Lync.

Rank: Trap Bakugan

Ability Cards: Boost, Transfer, Penetrate, Blazing Inferno of Scorching Flame, and Welsh Dragon Flare.

Cost: 50,000 BP

I press [Buy] and then watch as a red ball materializes itself into my blackbelt.

Arriving there, I hop off my bike and see a Vexos ship hovering over me, and then a golden beam shines, causing me to cover my eyes.

When it faded away, both Lync Volan and Volt were standing in front of me.

"Well well, if isn't Takuya Kurosaki." Lync sneers while I just give him the bird, causing him to growl more than a few seconds ago.

Quest gained.

The start of Canon

Objective: Defeat Lync Volan and Volt.

Rewards: 5000 BP, Custom Bakugan Trap, and REP with Bakugan Brawlers.

That's not too bad.

"Yo, Lync! Ya miss me, jackass?" I say, a wide grin on my face as I feel a hint of arrogance growing deep inside my mind.

This is only because it's Lync, and I still feel the need to embarrass him.

"Shut up! What happened at the tournament will never happen again." Lync growls back, setting up his gauntlet.

"We'll see about that," I reply snarkily, setting up my gauntlet.

"I think it's fair that we even the odds." A girl says, joined by two other boys as they all hop off her bike to stand by my side.

No way...

The girl has short orange hair and a large bust, wears a small silver jacket, white gloves, blue earrings, and sapphire blue eyes, and wears a rouge jumpsuit with uneven-sized boots and leggings.

The taller one of the boys is wearing a gold-trimmed, long-sleeved overcoat and dark-colored 'shoulder pads' on his shoulders. His sleeves go past his wrist, forming a slight upward V-shape, and he wears this over a light blue sleeveless shirt.

He wears white pants with grey pinstriped patches on his hips that are outlined in blue. The bottoms of his pants are neatly tucked into his black boots and are supported by a white /blue belt with a square belt buckle, and he wears suspender-like straps on his waist with golden buckles.

He wore black fingerless gloves.

The other one is about clothes.

That's Mira Fermin, Dan Kuso, and Marucho, three of the Bakugan Resistance team.

Guess canon started, although with some change, seeing as Elfin is on Marucho's shoulders.

"How about that, Lync? You're one who's outnumbered." I say tauntingly.

"I wouldn't be too sure about that." A voice replies in the wind as she and another man appear next to Lync and Volt.

"Mylene Farrow and Shadow Prove!" Mira comments.

"So what? They can't take us on, right, Drago?" Dan replies hotly as his Bakugan partner nods his head in agreement.

"Let's party then!" Shadow yells excitedly whilst licking his gauntlet with a hint of madness in his eyes.

"Gauntlet Power Strike!" All of us shout as our gauntlets glow our attributes' color as the area around shines a beautiful rainbow color before going back to normal.

Gate card, set!" Lync throws his gate card, and a green square covers the area.

"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Rise, Ventus Altair." Lync shouts, throwing his mechanical Bakugan onto the battlefield as Altair appears more.

"Altair Power Level: 500Gs." The Gauntlet reads out.

"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Go, Aquos Elico."

A bulky robot with the face of a human and clawed, animal-like feet. The helmet on his head makes him look like a knight in armor.

"Ellico Power Level: 500Gs"

"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Go, Haos Brontes." Volt yells, throwing his own Bakugan into the mix as a long and slender Bakugan with eight arms sticking out of his head that acts as a propeller, a smiling face like a joker or a clown.

"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Dance, Darkus Alpha Hydranoid." Shadow yells as his Bakugan is sent onto the battlefield with him, looking like the one I had before, except it has three heads instead of two.

"Hydranoid Power Level: 500G.s"

"Looks like it's our turn, Drago," Dan says in anticipation.

"I'm ready, Dan," His partner replies before turning himself into a ball as the legendary Pyrus brawler throws him into battle.

"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Go, Pyrus Neo Dragonoid." Dragonoid looks like the Ultimate Dragonoid of Vestroia, with a green gem in his chest.

"Neo Dragonoid Power Level: 400Gs"

Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Come on out, Aquos Elfin!" A cross between an amphibian and a fairy with a long tail, wing-like flippers, and webbed hands and feet.

"Elfin Power Level: 400Gs"

"Our turn now. Bakugan Brawl! Subterra Wilda stand." Mira shouted as the Bakugan that I'd seen in my previous life appeared in front of me, looking the same as he did in the anime.

"Wilda Power Level: 450Gs"

"No, mercy, Leonidas. Bakugan Brawl! Darkus Leonidas stand!" I yelled as my Bakugan partner stood between Drago and Elfin.

"Leonidas Power Level: 670Gs"

"Ability Activate! Spinal Saucer!" Lync commands, putting an Ability Card in his Gauntlet, which then glows green as Altair glows green as well.

"Altair Power Level: 700Gs." My Gauntlet reads out.

Just then, two tiny saucers appeared from Altair's wings and fired off some small energy balls at Drago.

"Oh no, ya don't! Ability Activate, Burning Shield!" Dan commands, quickly putting an Ability Card in his gauntlet, which glows red as Drago is covered by a burning tornado to protect himself from the energy balls.

"My turn. Ability Activate, Shadow Walk." I command, sliding an Ability Card in my gauntlet, which glows purple as Leonidas fades away from everyone's line of sight.

"Leonidas Power Level: 750Gs," My gauntlet reads.

"Think again, punk! Ability Activate! Phaser Trident!" Shadow yells, slipping a card into his gauntlet.

"I think it's join in on the fun. Ability Activate! Trick World! Mylene commands as our Bakugan's power level decreases rapidly.

"Ability Activate! Jeer Frontier!" Volt yells out.

"Leonidas Power Level: 150Gs," My gauntlet reads

"Neo Dragonoid Power Level: 200Gs"

"Elfin Power Level: 100Gs"

"Wilda Power Level: 250Gs"

"Double Ability Activity! Dragon Contender plus Pyrus Slayer!"

"Drago Power Level: 1000Gs."

"Altair Power Level: 100Gs."

"Ellico Power Level: 100Gs"

"Hydranoid Power Level: 100Gs."

"Brontes Power Level: 100Gs."

Drago rams himself against the Vexos Bakugan as they turn into their ball forms and go back to their owner as our Bakugan do the same.

"Lync Volan Life Point: 48%."

"Mylene Farrow Life Point: 69%."

"Shadow Prove Life Point: 76%."

"Volt Luster Life Point: 53%."

"Tch, there's no point in fighting them anymore. That Dragonoid is the saviour of Vestroia so fighting him head on is nothing short of foolish." Mylene says as she presses a button and is then consumed by a golden beam of light, soon disappearing from our line of sight.

"Grrr, don't think this is over Takuya!" Lync as he presses the button, which is followed by Volt and lastly Shadow Prove.

Our Bakugan go back into their ball forms as I quickly stash away in my [Inventory].

"Thanks for help, mister Takuya." Marucho says, doing a 90 degree bow.

"Just Taukya is fine and I should be thanking you guys 'cause I'm not too certain I would've been able to beat them on my own." I reply honestly.

"Well, seeing as you helped us defeated them, I'm guessing you want to join us?" Mira asks me with a knowing look on her face.

"That was kinda why I was looking for you but since there seems no problem with this, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say I'm in."

"That's right. Now come on, we can discuss this at my base." She says as Dan opts to ride with Mira and Marucho tags along with me on our motorcycles.

As we drive to the resistance's HQ, I can't help but think that this is just the start of my journey as a battle brawler.
