I wake up feeling refreshed while remembering what happened after we beat the Vexos yesterday.

Mira and Baron were on board with me, and Dan and Marucho joined the team but not Ace.

Nope. The dude was somehow convinced that I was a spy for the Vexos and that Dan and Marucho didn't earn their spots on the team.

This led to a heated argument between the hot head and the emo, with Mira putting a stop to it by suggesting that Dan and Ace fought, and it went exactly like it did in the anime.

As for me, I went against Mira, and I had to use Hydra just to stand a chance against her.

In the end, I won and was able to gain a lot of points from the fight.

I wonder how much I would get if I fought Dan, Marucho, Shun, or any of the original battle brawlers.

"Boss, you're in your head again," Percy says on the table in my new room.

This is the nickname I gave my Percival, and as for the rest, I call my Ingram Tempest and my Welsh Dragonoid Ddraig 'cause he looks exactly like the dragon in his original form in the anime.

"I think he knows that, moron." Hydra sneers at him, causing Ingram to sigh in exasperation as he then asks.

"For the love of Oberus, would it kill you to be more civil with your fellow Bakugan?"

"Yes, yes it will, which is why I've given up on trying to get him to seem likable or somewhat tolerable," Draco said, joining in one of the conversations.

"You do know I'm right here? If you've got a problem, then just say that, and we can fight about it." Hydra retorts.

"Is it even worth our time?"

Sighing in exasperation, I step out of my room and am greeted by the sight of Mira, who's alone.

The others must be either chilling or training, though, knowing Dan, it may very well be both.

"What's up?" I ask her.

"Great timing. I was just looking for you." Mira says.

"For what exactly? I'm planning to go train." I ask, a bit confused.

"This is Pyrus Wyvron, your very own Bakugan Trap. I wanted to give you another Pyrus Scorpion but didn't have one anymore, so here he is." She explained before handing my newest partner.

I use my gauntlet to scan, and it shows me that he has the appearance of a dragon of smaller size than Dan's Neo Dragonoid but has wings instead of front claws.

Most of its ability cards can reflect attacks like Scorpion's canceling gate cards.

He has a special ability card that only he can use, called Dragon Warrior.

With this Wyvron, he changes his appearance into a humanoid dragon, increasing his strength, which has attacks like those of Helix Dragonoid, a special ability card that he can use in this form, Dragonic Impact.

On the chest in Wyvron's human form is a dragon head. When he uses this ability, it opens and shoots a powerful red beam.

Overall, a very nice addition to the team.

Combine him and my Welsh Dragonoid, and I'm most definitely gonna beat Spectra if he ever got Drago in the main timeline.

"Thanks for the Bakugan. I'm off to go train, but lemme know when we have to move." I tell her as I run off outside to do some training.

Arriving there, I release a sigh as I grab my Bakugan in both my hands.

"Alright let's do this. Bakugan brawl!" I shout as I throw all my Bakugan on the ground.

Tempest, Percy, Hydra, Leonidas, Draco, Ddraig, and Wyvron all appear in their true forms.

"You guys are gonna fight but I won't give you an Ability Card. This is merely a test of strength and power." I tell them.

They all bare their fangs at their designated target and lunge at one other.

Ddraig vs Wyvron, Percy vs Tempest, and Leonidas vs Hydra while Draco's with me supervising the training session.

"What should we do in the meantime?" Draco asks.

"Good question. I could get another Bakugan for you to spar with but there's something I wanna check first if you're up to it." I say.

I've been thinking about something that could help me turn the tides in my favor.

What if I was the one who introduced Battle Gears to Vestroia?

If I'm not mistaken, Gundalia and Neathia are part of New Vestroia so all I would have to do is either find the countries or buy a Bakugan with a Battle Gear.

Looking through the [Shop] function, I find a few Bakugan but my eyes settle on Darkus Helios, which would be awesome but I would have to turn him into a mechanical Bakugan for him to get his Battle Gear.

I could ask Mira and Marucho to help me in that regard but there's one more Bakugan that has a Battle Gear and is Darkus but will also not need to become a mechanical Bakugan.

That Bakugan is none other than Darkus Horridian, who will be a very good addition to the team.

"Alright, then Horridian, Arise," I say, throwing his ball into the air as he appears next to me.

Horridian is a humanoid Cerberus-like Bakugan. He has black fur, mostly covered by purple-green armor with golden spikes. His tail also has spikes. Even his collar has spikes. His eyes are glowing red and his teeth are as sharp as razor blades.

"Hmmm... so you're the one who I'll be fighting alongside with?" Horridian says, taking in the sight of the others, not even looking at me.

His eyes then settle on Draco, who's also eyeing the latest addition to the army.

"Let's see what you're made of lizard." Horridian growls before charging at Draco as the two begin their skirmish and while that's going on, I wanna take a look at something else that could help me become stronger.

Huh, looks like I have two new functions in the [System].

I'm gonna start with [Evolution] and see which one of them can evolve.

Pyrus Delta Dragonoid is level 10

Able to evolve into: Ultimate Dragonoid

Darkus Dual Hydranoid is level 10

Able to evolve into: Alpha Hydranoid

Pyrus Leonidas is level 10

Able to evolve into: Omega Leonidas

Requirement: Must have Aquos, Subterra, Haos, Ventus and Darkus Leonidas reach Level 10.

Ventus Ingram is level 2

Able to evolve into: Master Ingram or Storm Ingram

Requirements: Level 10 or Chaos gems (x10)

Percival is level 2

Able to evolve into: Knight Percival or Chaos Percival

Requirements: Level 10 or Chaos gems (x10)

My Bakugan traps can't evolve but that's fine since I didn't expect them to be able to do such a thing.

Now for the [Gates].

Gates are subspaces that allow your Bakugan to train against creatures that are far stronger than them. You also gain a ton of Battle Points for each win against the bosses of that respective subspace.

Alright then, let's get this party started.

"Guys, gather around." I call out as my Bakugan form a circle around me.

"Is your idea about to work?" Draco asks me.

"Yeah but first, we're gonna get some things out of the way before entering the gate." I reply before pulling out the [Evolution] window.

I press on both Hydra and Draco's evolutions as the two begin to glow a pitch black purple and crimson flames respectively.

When it dies down, two new Bakugan appear beside us.

He had Pyrus Symbol markings on his wings which are now split and he also had two horns that are merged and he looked similar to Infinity Dragonoid, but without the diamond.

The other one was a three-headed dragon-like Bakugan, featuring a dark skin tone that makes him difficult to see at night. His hard, metallic armor can sustain multiple blows from attackers, and his dark blasts can destroy all elements.

No doubt about it.

These were Ultimate Dragonoid and Alpha Hydranoid, the second evolutions of Draco and Hydra.

Let's check out their new abilities.

Ability Cards: Death Trident, Destroy Vanish, Chaos Leap Sting, Blinding Splice, Indigo Nightmare and Final Demolition.

Rank: Guardian Bakugan

Ability Cards: Ultimate Dragon, Boosted Ultima, Dragonic Ogre, Dragon Plus, Fire Wall, Fire Tornado, Fire Judge and Exceed.

Okay, looks like we're ready for the Gate.

Selecting the [Merged Vestroia Floor 1, we find ourselves in a subspace that's reminiscient of the Aquos/Haos hybrid gate back in season 1 of the anime.

"Alright guys, time to go wild." I say, excited by the turn of events.

In front of us was a huge group of Aquos/Ventus Gargonoid hybrids with a teal coloured diamond on their foreheads.

The chance for them to become stronger was right here and what kind of partner would I be if I didn't allow them to go wild on these Bakugans?

With a roar, we lunge at the small army of Gagonoids as they too charge in on the apparent action that was happening right now.
