Run Killing of the Grimm

Jaune is seen sitting on the towel on top of the beach with some papers shattered around as they are plans, he has been coming up with to try escaping the island's curse and tried each one of them.

And as expected, not a single one works to help him escape this island.

"Oh man, soon I won't have any ideas to think of." Jaune sighed, feeling like his mind has finally reached the dead end.

Jaune stretch his arm up for a bit then lay down on the towel looking up at the sky wondering how his family and friends are doing right, probably still worry about him and trying the best they can to find him which maybe impossible since this island is most likely not on any maps of the world.

"Damn it, this is going to heavy for her family since I'm not around anymore." Jaune worried for them.

"But I know the Arc family will stay strong no matter what, after all. We do come from a family of knights, and we never let darkness take hold of our hearts!" Jaune believed his family will stay strong.

"Although, it would be nice to at least see if they're doing okay and if my little nephew has begun to walk yet." Jaune said.

"Speaking of walking, maybe I should do one myself hopefully to clear my head." Jaune suggested to himself and stand up.

Suddenly a strong wind picked up surprising Jaune and causing the papers he was looking at to flow away in one direction.

"No, wait! Littering is bad!" Jaune called out to the papers and chase after the papers.

Jaune move his legs fast remembering all those painful training exercises he got from Nora and Elm every three days every week (they increase the days because of how well Jaune was doing), and those times have been paying off as he started to feel a little super.

He jumps a little high managing to catch on two of the twelve papers in his hands, folding them small enough to be put in his pockets, then went after the other papers.

Jaune continuing chasing down the papers getting nine of them though he accidentally trip on the sand going face-first with the sand inside his mouth, he got back us and quickly spite out the sand while grossing out from how it tastes.

"And this is why sand is never use for food." Jaune groaned.

"Man, this is reminding me of how I was dared to eat some sand… and going to the hospital after that." Jaune chuckled from the memories, then he remembers what he was just doing.

"That's right, my failed plans!" Jaune gasped turning to see the remaining three papers have flown into the forest.

"No way, I'm going to lose you three in there!" Jaune charged into the forest.

Jaune ran through the forest without taking his eyes off those papers despite how he has to keep dodging the trees and jumping over some vines and roots, then he jumps form a tree to grab onto a vine to swing cross trying to catch up to the papers.

But the difficult is trying to navigate through the forest while dodging every tree he sees.

"Damn it, Tarzan make this looks so easy." Jaune exclaimed.

But he got his focus back when he spotted the three papers and jumps onto another vine to keep on with the chase, he reaches out as far as he could until he managed to get two of them.

"Yes! One more to go and" Jaune' sentence was cut off when crashed onto a tree hard.

"…All good…" Jaune groaned and mumbled before he slide down the tree seconds later falling onto the ground.

"Now I'm starting to see why George of the Jungle is always kept being told to watch out for the trees." Jaune said with his head feeling dizzy and his eyes blurry.

"N-Now, where did that paper go?" Jaune tried to see straight, but his eyes are still dizzy from the impact.

Jaune kept himself straight and waited for a few seconds until his eyes are good again, he decided to take a little break to calm himself down a little.

"Okay, now to find that paper." Jaune said to himself.

He searches through the woods trying to see where that final paper plan is as he can still remember which way it flew into.

"Hopefully it doesn't take too long, I wouldn't want to spend the entire night searching for it." Jaune searched between some brushes.

That was when Jaune saw the paper it was looking for, but the joy on his face became shocked when he saw it's close to a alone Beowolf as its trying to search for a pray to kill.

"(Oh fuck, there just had to be Grimm here!)" Jaune thought panicked and quickly hid behind a tree.

The Beowolf turn its head in the direction where Jaune is and slowing walking there as he can hear the slow footsteps.

"(That's right, Grimms can sense negative emotions!)" Jaune thought remembered from what the girls told him about the Grimms.

Jaune took in a deep breath and started count down from ten for the calming down from the negative thoughts such as panicking and fear he is feeling right now.

"10… 9… 8… 7… 6…" Jaune counted softly while the Beowolf is still coming over to the tree letting out a small growl.

"5… 4… 3… 2… 1." Jaune finished the counting, and his mind is clear from the bad thoughts feeling at ease.

The Beowolf stop approaching to the tree as it can tell the negative feeling it was sensing has stopped and decided to move onto the next area to search for something to kill.

"Okay, that worked." Jaune sighed in relief, glad to see the wolf monster is going away.

He tiptoes his way to the final paper and gentle grabs it into his hands then putting it into his pocket, he searches around to see there aren't any Grimms around meaning that Beowolf was just by itself here.

"Nice, survived my first Grimm encounter. Now to head back and hopefully never have to go through all that ever again." Jaune smiled as he walks away.

Then suddenly he trips on a rock and falling his face right onto the trunk of the tree, almost like how he crashed onto that other tree when he was swinging on the vines.

Jaune pull himself away from the tree groaning in pain a little, then an acorn fell right on top of his head.

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" Jaune shouted in rage.

The Beowolf that is still in area heard that shout and felt the negative emotions, turning around to see Jaune there glaring fiercely at the soon-to-be dead pray as Jaune look back with fear on his face with his eyes widen knowing it's now pointless to hide anymore.

"N-Nice, puppy. Good boy." Jaune said slowly making to his left.

"I'm sorry, I don't appear to have a bone on me for you to chew on." Jaune chuckled in fear while the Beowolf is walking towards him.

"So, huh, how about you just go about your ways and I'll… RUN AWAY?!" Jaune shouted running for his dear life.

The Beowolf howls loud for a second then chase after the yellow hair boy, then a few seconds later one more Beowolf heard the howl then pounce in the direction joining its fellow Beowolf to chase Jaune to the death.

"Of course, there would be another one!" Jaune panicked.

Jaune kept running and running hoping to get away from the Beowolfs though those damn beasts are still on his tail and aren't going to give up the chase, now he is really starting to consider getting himself trained by the girls to defend himself against the Grimms.

That is IF he can survive those two first and live to see another day.

Jaune look back still seeing the two Beowolves chasing him fiercely with the growling sounded a little louder, then he looks forward again to see one vine is hanging around giving him the idea to hopefully escape from those monsters.

"Let see if you can still keep up with a jungle man!" Jaune smirked.

Jaune ran faster hoping to reach for the vine before the Beowolves could get in close to slash him with their claws and jump high to grab the vine right in his hands swinging away.

"Beat that, you stupid dead puppies!" Jaune insulted as he swings away.

But his swinging getaway plan was short live when the vine snap and Jaune onto the ground rolling for a second or two then face meeting the dirt once more.

"Okay, that didn't go well." Jaune groaned.

The two Beowolves have caught up to Jaune and jump to pounce on him to devour his flesh into their fangs.

But suddenly, something or someone comes in and threw a strong punch right onto the head of the Beowolf on Jaune's right then stab it through with a spear along with impaling the other one through that head too.

"Damn, didn't think I would find two Grimms out here." The woman surprised.

"Thank you for saving me, I thought I was gonna become dog food for those wolves." Jaune thanked as he sighs in relief.

"No problem, can't have the only male of Remnant Island to be killed in a stupid way." The woman nodded and offered Jaune a help which he took to get back up.

"Man, the way you came in like that was out of nowhere! It's like superspeed or something." Jaune amazed.

"Well, I have been known to be the fastest in the whole island and proud owner of these awesome legs!" The woman pointed down at her legs.

For some strange reason, this got Jaune thinking about if he heard about this woman before and seeing how this one is flexing the muscles of her legs which kind of reminds him of Nora and Elm when they flex their muscles to show they are serious when it comes to their exercising.

"(Hold on, Elm?)" Jaune thought surprised as he now remembers something that is connected to this woman.

"Miss, is your name by any chance Harriet?" Jaune asked.

"Oh, so you know my name. Guess that's to be expected when you have an awesome reputation like mine!" The woman now revealed as Harriet smirked.

"Harriet Bree's the name, and I'm the best of what I do best!" Harriet introduced herself.

Harriet is a dark-skinned young woman with platinum blonde and brown hair shaved on the sides and dark pink eyes. She wears a white and gold color of shirt and shorts and equipped with metal gauntlets with one metal pole that was used to kill those Beowolves. Breasts sizes: E-cup.

"Right, now I remember Elm mentioned you once or twice during my training time with her and Nora." Jaune recalled.

"Oh yeah, better hope they're good ones." Harriet glared at Jaune.

"Yes, honest! Elm said you got the spark and strength of a warrior that can never be caught by some Grimm." Jaune stated waving his hands in defense.

"Hahaha! That's what I like to hear!" Harriet laughed weirding Jaune out a little.

"Relax, I wasn't really mad at you or anything though you should've seen the look on your face." Harriet giggled.

"My, you joke like one of my sisters and would get her jokes to the next level." Jaune chuckled.

"Oh, now that's someone I would like to meet." Harriet grinned.

"So, how about I escort you to your home in case you need a bodyguard from those Grimms." Harriet offered.

"That would actually be very helpful, thank you." Jaune smiled.

The two made their way out of the forest while making sure there aren't any more Grimms around until they set foot on the beach and headed to where his home is.

"I got to say, I never expected a male like you to be living in the old guard post." Harriet commented.

"So, that house is a guard post. I've always wonder about that when Yang introduce me to Ilia at her home." Jaune mentioned.

"Oh yeah, that house was home to one of the most fierce and respected warriors who ever lived." Harriet stated.

"Wow, is she still around?" Jaune asked.

"Unfortunately, the warrior died fighting a big horde of Grimm while protecting her people until reinforcements arrived, but by then it was too late." Harriet explained looking sad.

"Sorry to hear that." Jaune apologized.

"No need, it all happened in the past and she will always be remembered by all in our hearts including Queen Salem, herself who once saw the warrior as a second mother figure." Harriet said.

"Jaune!" Pyrrha called out.

Jaune turn his head to see Pyrrha along with Ruby, Yang, Weiss, Blake, Nora, and Neon are standing next to his house waving hello to him.

"Hey girls, what are you all doing here?" Jaune asked surprise of seeing them here.

"We wanted to ask if you would like to hang out with us to do some exploring in the jungle." Nora answered.

"Actually, I was just in the forest… Almost getting eaten, but Harriet here saved me." Jaune explained and gestured to Harriet.

"Hey, girls." Harriet greeted with a wave.

"Hi, Harriet!" The girls greeted back.

"Wait, were you in the jungle alone?" Ruby asked concern.

"Yeah, I was just getting back the list of failed escape plans when a wind suddenly picked up." Jaune explained showing them his papers.

"Why do you even keep them? It's not like you're ever going to do those plans again." Neon asked curious.

"Well, I just wanted to look back on them to see if I can make some improves or changes to help improve my chances." Jaune answered.

"Learning from your mistakes. Sounds about right." Blake nodded.

"But it was still foolish of you to go in alone. You could have at least gone to the village and ask one of us for help." Weiss scolded the Arc boy.

"Yeah, should have thought that one through. Another thing to look back on." Jaune admitted with a chuckle.

"Well, with jungle out of the question, how about we go hang out at the noodle shop and enjoy some tasty noodles together." Ruby suggested.

"That sounds like fun." Jaune agreed and turns to Harriet.

"Want to join us for a bowl of noodles?" Jaune asked.

"I guess I could have a bite to eat, hadn't had noodles in a while and now I'm suddenly want the really big bowl." Harriet grinned.

"You and me both, sister!" Yang excited.

"Make it three!" Nora added herself in the excitement.

"Hey, I was also wondering if you girls wouldn't mind doing something for me." Jaune said, getting their attention.

"Jaune, we're friends! We'll always have each other's backs no matter what!" Ruby stated strongly.

"Of course, if there is anything you need from the island then let us know." Pyrrha nodded.

"Glad to hear that because I was wondering if some of you girls would train me how to fight Grimm." Jaune revealed of what he wants from the girls.

"Fighting Grimms, are you sure about that?" Weiss asked surprise to hear this from a man.

"I take it you didn't like how you're always the one being protected all the time from the new friends you started to grow fond of." Blake guessed.

"Well, yeah, wow! It's like you were reading my mind!" Jaune amazed.

"I just know how to read people, that's all." Blake stated, looking away to hide her blushing cheeks.

"Blake can be like that when she's not reading her books or munching down on some fish." Yang teased earning a glare from Blake.

"But it would be interesting to see how hard a man would train like how we women do here." Yang grinned.

"I believe it's a grand idea." Pyrrha smiled making Jaune happy.

(With Salem)

Salem is seen in the library reading one of her favorite stories and just had an interesting idea.

"Oh my, sometimes I scare myself for coming up with these kinds of ideas." Salem giggled at herself as she places the book back in the shelf and walks away.

"I hope Jaune doesn't mind a friendly competition with the attention on him." Salem grinned.

KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!

Jaune almost got killed for some paper but was saved at the last second by Harriet who proven her point of being fast, and he had asked the girls to help train him to a warrior to protect himself and his friends. Looks like Salem is cooking up something in her white head that could be something Jaune will have to ready himself.
