Jungle Marathon to Catch the Arc Man
Jaune is running through the jungle trying to find a place, any kind of place, for him to hide from all the women of the island who are going to hunt him like very hungry predators on hunting season.
And these women are hungry for some love, but not the kind of thing he would be looking forward to liking a scared little bunny running away from a fox.
"Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit! Why the hell did this have to happen to me?!" Jaune feared after jumping over a branch.
"To think I would end myself being the grand prize for an island size running event that got all the women pump up to get a piece of me!" Jaune quickly hides behind a tree.
"Although it feels pretty awesome for the ladies to be getting their hearts on the Arc man, the guy has been doing a lot of crazy stuff and seen a little of crazy stuff that seems like paradise." Jaune smirked.
"You know, maybe I could let one of them catch me. I wouldn't mind if it's Pyrrha, or maybe Yang or probably the Queen herself." Jaune chuckled as he starts running again.
But then Jaune accidentally trips on an armadillo that was napping at the spot and fell rolling down on a hill, then found himself launch in the air by rolling on a slope and quickly grabs onto a vine.
"Just as soon as I keep on surviving!" Jaune freaked out.
But Jaune is gonna find himself on the surviving part being harder than said.
Jaune saw there wasn't gonna be another vine to swing on nearby and grab onto a tree branch that he was able onto it with his hands, he looks around to see that he is still in the clear.
Jaune let out a sigh of relief, but that moment was instantly ruined when the tree branch broke, and he fell right onto the ground.
"My back…" Jaune groaned, feeling his spine hurting from the impact.
"I hope I still got plenty of time to find a hiding place." Jaune groaned as he tries to get back up.
(Remnant Royal Palace)
"Only one minute and twenty seconds left, your majesty." Glynda informed looking at the time of her watch.
"Thank you, Glynda. This is something none of us are ever going to forget." Salem smiled with excitement.
"You can say that again, mom. I say you top the cake of one of the crazy ideas you have ever done." Cinder commented.
"Including the time what happened to me?" Salem asked, looking at her white arms and such.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to bring it up like that." Cinder apologized.
"It's fine, I still think of that day as well, and to be honest. I don't regret what I have done to save my daughter." Salem smiled with her hands on her chest.
"This was before me and Neo were adopted, right?" Emerald asked as Neo raises and eyebrow.
"That's right, it was the biggest thing that ever happened on our island that never happened before, and I do hope it doesn't happen again in the near future." Salem looked up at the sky.
"Which I will right after this event, we will show you two the truth of how mother came to be like this." Cinder promised.
"For real?!" Emerald shocked and Neo silently gasp.
"You're our family, blood or not, you deserve to know these things as member of the royal family and know what kind of danger our island has." Cinder nodded.
Emerald and Neo were shocked to hear this from their big sister about the incident that turn their mom into a humanoid Grimm woman, and now the truth might reveal to them very soon.
"Twenty-eight seconds." Glynda informed.
"But for now, we need to get ready for the chasing even to see which of us is going to have the Arc boy to herself." Cinder smirked.
"It's going to be me!" Neo smirked.
"In your dreams." Emerald rolled her eyes.
"Now, now, girls. We need to be fair for everyone to have their chance with chasing Jaune around the island." Cinder stated with a gentle smile.
"But it'll be me who will get Jaune with my own flaming hands." Cinder smirked.
"Oh, it is so on, sweetie." Salem chuckled.
"Probably more on than we know." Emerald shrugged.
The three daughters stand together with their queen mother as they look onward the gate as they wait for the final seconds until the Running of the Remnant Island begins, and Glynda starts counting down.
"10… 9… 8…"
Yang is practicing some punches while the rest of her family are getting ready such as Raven sheath her sword, Summer and Ruby are talking to each other with their weapons in their hands.
"7… 6… 5…"
Weiss and her family are standing at the open gate with Jonathan being ready as she'll ever be, Blake place her book down while Coco and Velvet are getting excited for the even to happen, Nora and Elm are doing their own last second warmup to be extra ready to get their hands on Jaune.
"4… 3… 2…"
Pyrrha and her family are getting themselves with the former feeling concern for Jaune and decided to act on her own plan.
"1… GO!" Glynda cheered.
"The Running of Remnant Island BEGINS!" Salem announced to the entire island.
After saying those words, every single woman on the island shouted in excitement with the start of the event almost like they were waiting for the next best thing from a mall such as a new fashion trend and go crazy for some big sales.
"Let's go!" Ruby jumped with her scythe in the air.
"Time to hunt us a cutie." Coco smirked as she pushes her glasses back a bit.
"Happy hunting, girls. Try not to get too dirty for the night." Lili' Miss wished her twin daughters a happy time with finding Jaune.
"Thanks, mom!" Miltia and Melanie said at the same time as they ran for the forest.
"Alright, time to show everyone why we're known as the great bloodline in Remnant Island!" Risa cheered as the family moves out.
Most of the women and girls including the ones who were on important duties for the island went off running into the jungle forest and other places they think they can find Jaune.
"Okay, time to go find myself a fun with a man." Kali smirked and starts climbing up a tree.
"Now, where could you have gone to, Jaune Arc." Kali looked around trying to see if she can spot any clues of Jaune.
(With Jaune)
"Oh no, it's starting now!" Jaune gasped, popping his head out from a bush.
"I need to go find a place to hide!" Jaune carefully exit the bush and ran away fast.
Jaune kept running and running without any much thought into where he was going at all as he just needs to hide from the women for the next eight hours. He's not really sure if how exactly he could last that long, but he has to try like he has kept on trying to escape this island to beat the unescapable curse.
"Wait a minute, I just realize something!" Jaune gasped.
But he was too distracted with the shocking revelation that he got a vine on his face making him blind that he ended up running off a very high clift.
Jaune screams in fear when he looks down seeing how far the bottom is though his hands reacted on instinct to grab onto the vine and swings around a tree while still screaming loud, he managed to get himself back on the solid ground.
"Okay, better pay attention to where I go." Jaune continued running.
"Now, where was I…" Jaune asked himself, trying to remember if he was thinking of anything until it clicks him in the head.
"Oh, that's right! I just remember that since all the girls lived on this island their entire life, that means" Jaune's sentence was cut off when an arrow was shot to a tree that he was about to run past.
This causes Jaune to stop in his tracks and is shocked to see an arrow here.
"Look, there he is!" One girl shouted.
Jaune quickly turns to his right seeing three girls about a few dozen feet away and one of them has a grin on her face, that tells him that she is looking forward to catching the first male of Remnant Island.
"You're mine now, Jaune!" The girl with the bow and arrow shouted.
"Hey, we agreed that I'm going to be the number one girl!" The girl with the giant sword angered.
"Hold on, I want to be the one to hold Jaune. Feeling his muscles on my body." The girl with red hair and claw-gloves smiled.
Jaune quickly runs while they were distracted with the arguing and quickly jumps down a small slope and ran on his left through some trees.
"These grew up on this island, all of them having gone around together and most likely everywhere on the island. Of course, they would know every inch of their homeland." Jaune said to himself of this revelation.
This was going to be even harder for Jaune to survive this running event and fear that it could be impossible.
But then he just realizes the word "impossible" in his head, just thinking about it makes him mad like all the other times when things seem impossible and stop for a moment.
"Impossible, huh?" Jaune chuckled a bit.
"As if the impossible can hold back an Arc! I'm going to prove the impossible and possible by surviving this chasing game right now!" Jaune declared strongly.
"Glad to see hear that, Jauney-Boy!" Yang shouted.
That spooks Jaune a bit and he look up gasp of seeing Yang high in the air with one fist reeling back for a strong punch.
"Zonks!" Jaune gasped and quickly moved out of the way.
Yang came down slamming her fist on the ground making little cracks around it with her gauntlets and look into the direction Jaune just ran in and form a smirk on her face.
"Hi Jaune, how was your day?" Ruby asked, running right next to Jaune.
"Doing great, had a good breakfast and was suddenly kidnap by the Queen announcing the big Running of the Remnant Island and I'm the biggest prize that I have to last for 8 hours before I'm claimed by all these girls including you!" Jaune answered in a panicking tone.
"So, yeah, I'd say my day has been going good." Jaune said sarcastically.
"Okay, now I just need to take you!" Ruby smirked and was ready to pounce on the boy.
Jaune saw what she was about to do and immediately stops to let Ruby jump past him and her face slams onto the bark of a tree.
"Ow…" Ruby groaned.
Jaune ran again hoping to lose those girls and saw a net being dropped from the trees as he saw this and quickly jumps forward to dodge the net, the ones who threw down the net were none other than Summer and Raven as they cursed that their net plan didn't work.
"Ha! You're gonna have to try better than that!" Jaune called out while running again.
Suddenly Velvet came right out of some bushes and grabs onto Jaune's arm before he could even react to the sound of leaves shaking from the bushes, and he is suddenly dragged away.
"Coco! I got him!" Velvet shouted.
"Great work, Bun-Bun!" Coco responded as she comes out of hiding and they run together while dragging Jaune away.
"Now all we have to do keep holding onto Jaune until sunset." Coco smirked as she grabs onto Jaune's other arm.
"Is there any way I can convince you girls to let me go?" Jaune asked.
"Nope." Velvet and Coco answered at the same time.
"Well just though to asked." Jaune hung his head.
"(Come on, Jaune. Think hard, there's got to be a way to get out of this situation.)" Jaune thought tried to come up with a plan.
"I'm very proud that you've finally put to use of the ear workout session I put you in." Coco smirked.
"Thanks, you really gave my ears quite the workout." Velvet winked.
"Hmm, does that mean you have a little weakness… here!" Jaune quickly threw the arm that was grabbed by the bunny and scratching touching a certain spot.
"H-Hey, what are y-you, haha… doing? Hahahaha!" Velvet started laughing.
"Velvet, no! You have to keep a good grip on his arm!" Coco shocked, seeing what Jaune is trying to do.
"I'm sorry. Hahahaha! But I can't h-help it!" Velvet laughed some more causing her ear to let go of Jaune's arm.
Jaune knees down to force Coco to kneel down too and her sunglasses to almost come off until she caught it with one finger, but this is what Jaune needed as he quickly took Velvet's camera and aims it right at her face for the eyes and press the button for the flash to hit her eyes.
"Fucking Grimm!" Coco gasped as she found herself blind.
Jaune was able to get himself free from Coco's arm while tickling Velvet's ear for a little while longer until he made a run for it again.
"We were so close!" Coco groaned.
"Sorry, guess it was a bad idea to have told him about my tickling spot behind my ear." Velvet apologized.
"It's fine, you can go on ahead and get him for me." Coco said.
"No, I am staying here with my girlfriend until you get your sights back." Velvet sat down next to Coco, leaning her head onto hers.
"Oh, how did I get so lucky with a cute bunny like you?" Coco asked chuckling.
"You can thank my feet." Velvet smiled and the two kiss each other.
Jaune ran more and more hoping to get some distance from Velvet and Coco knowing how those two works together, this also got him thinking that some other Remnant warriors could try working together to get him for themselves, so he got to be really careful with how those girls would try to approach him.
But suddenly Jaune trip on something causing his face to slam down on the ground.
"Damn it, I really got to watch when I step over… a dumbbell?" Jaune surprised to see a dumbbell laying on the ground.
"Who in the world leave a dumbbell in the middle of the jungle?" Jaune confused.
"Someone with Thunder Thighs!" Nora shouted, jumped down from a tree right in front of Jaune.
"Oh muscle shit!" Jaune gasped.
Nora tries to grab him into his arms, but Jaune was able to slide right between the legs to avoid being caught by her and ran off.
"Run, run, as fast as you can! But you can bet that Nora Valkyrie is gonna get ya!" Nora excited as she ran after Jaune.
"I'm pretty sure that's not how the song goes in the song!" Jaune pointed out as he jumps over a tree root.
"That's just how I sing it!" Nora laughed and smash her way through the root.
"(Damn it, I need to lose her!)" Jaune thought freaked out.
But then Blake came down from a tree and pin him down to the ground.
"I got you now, Jaune." Blake grinned.
"Paws off, pervert kitty!" Nora shouted angrily and tackled Blake off from Jaune, and they start fighting.
Jaune quickly got himself back up again to run as he looks up to see a vine on a tree, he climbs up the tree and grabs onto the vine to start swinging around and while Nora and Blake are still fighting. He goes from vine to vine, but then the vine was sliced off causing Jaune to fall into some bushes, he pops up and gasps upon seeing the Malachite twins looking down with lust in their eyes.
"Oh, you're going to be fun." Miltia smiled.
"Oh yeah, I can already see" Melanie was cut off by a chop on the neck.
"What the…" Miltia gasped, and then got knocked out by the same karate chop.
"Oh come on, you too!" Jaune exclaimed upon seeing Pyrrha right in front of him.

The running event has begun with Jaune having already been very close to getting caught by the girls who came after him even got caught, but he managed to escape. But now there is Pyrrha who seems to be in on the game, or is she really?
