A Japanese Weresheep in Mutsuba Town

Summary:
There are some forms of alien activity even MIK turns a blind eye to. The truly alien activity between Chupataro and Ohdo Yuhi, for instance.
Chapter 131: Colliding Galaxies
"Chupataro, I…"
"Get out, chupa!"
This wasn't like when the Dark Meister and the Darkmen barged in on him with Meeedias-chan and Shoruta-Nyandestar. Chupataro was serious. He didn't want to see or talk to Yuamu right now. Maybe ever, now that Yuhi – not Yuamu – had activated Resurrection of the Dead, defeated Yudias, and erased his own memories to become Otes.
"Kuyamuya, let's go…" Yuamu gave up, and the feline enveloped them both in a sphere of her own dark matter, teleporting them away.
Yuamu may be hurting, but look at all the people she hurt! Mutsuba Town was unrecognizable. There were Dark Drones everywhere. Goha Yuna had taken over, and she was so ruthless, she didn't even call Rovian "Rovian-sama" anymore! Hell, she was flat-out "Kirishima Rovian" to her now!
If Yuamu had erased her memories, there would have been many personally affected by her going through with it.
And yet, it was Yuhi who took the bullet for her.
This wasn't how the replay of Yuhi and Yudias' big friendship Duel was supposed to go. It just wasn't! Yudias didn't score his first Rush victory when Yuhi and Yuamu discovered Valvelgear concealed in the woods, surprising Yuhi with the 1600 ATK Transamu Rainac with above average stat line for a Level 4, for Yuhi to turn around and use Rainac in a Triple Contact Fusion to summon a Dark Matter monster!
The spirit of camaraderie between them buckled under the pressure. The toil of this abominable road.
So just as Rovian was no longer "Rovian-sama" to Yuna, should Chupataro get used to seeing a stranger where Yuhi once stood?
Resurrection of the Dead was truly a card that shouldn't exist. It severed bonds. Inspired the destruction of relationships.
"Let the living be sealed into light, and the dead rise from darkness! Persona Release!"
In his mindwiped state, Yuhi may have liked the name, but "Otes" was venom on the surface of Chupataro's tongue. All the town's current problems arose from the masked man in white and his pervasive mark on history, though based on the footage Yuamu showed Chupataro, Yuhi hadn't finalized the look just yet, still lacking the white overcoat.
Did that mean there was still a chance they could bring Yuhi back? After all, with Yuhi recently fretting over how "lame" his clothes were, was his selection of the black coat over the white coat meant to be taken as indication that some small piece of him was still kicking inside that helmeted head of his?

"Yuhi! Chupataro!"
"Yudias?"
The Velgearian jogged up to them. "Is this perhaps…a date?"
"It –!" Yuhi cut himself off. "Yeah. Yeah, it is."
Meeeg-chan, Meeedias-chan, WHATEVER.
Tonight, Chupataro was a Jointech Rex man.
"Ch-Chupataro, let go of me!"
"Chupaaa! Chupa loves you, Yuhi!"
"Auggh, I get it! I get it! I'll kiss ya, ya smelly sheep otaku!"

Chupataro dropped out of his robot onto his actual knees and claws. He could still feel Yuhi on his lips. He tried to punch the floor while salting it in his tears, but struck a ball of wool instead.
He should've gone with them.
He should've been there to stop Yuhi from taking Yuamu's place in the Duel.
When he encouraged Yuhi to talk Yuamu out of becoming Otes "his way," this wasn't what he meant!
"Chupa…You loved Chupa, but not enough to rethink leaving Chupa alone, chupa? Or was your duty to your sister stronger than your love for Chupataro, chupa?"
Yuhi's love for Chupataro and his duty to his sister were colliding galaxies. Eventually, something had to give. And after a long period of feeling powerless, Yuhi stepped up and did the one thing he could and had to do as Yuamu's big brother: save his younger sister.
She was ready to sacrifice everything. Her resolve was (at least to her audience) absolute.
Like Zeyet said, as the Dark Meister's twin, Yuhi could be absolute too.
"An absolute idiot, chupa!"
"Chupataro~!" Damamu ducked under the door. "I'm back! Kamatama udon is 100,000! Oyo? Whatcha doin' on the floor? I dug out ALL the coins earlier!"
Chupataro gasped internally.
No!
Hang on, chupa! If Yuhi is Otes…and what Ohdo Yuga said is true and the Creator is Otes' Earthdama… Chupataro pulled himself out of his despair to glance Damamu's way (the Damamu who was awake, anyway).
Damamu was floating unawares. Unaware Yuhi had become Otes or that Yuamu had come over.
If Yuhi was Otes, then that would suggest Yuhi would be thrown back in time at the end of the Rush Duel with Yuga after somehow living until or travelling to Yuga's future. Exiting the hyperspace, his Earthdama would be separated from him and cast to the edge of the universe in the distant past, where it would adopt the identity of the Creator and create the Velgearians.
Damamu could become the Creator one day!
Once again, Chupataro found himself choosing the path that'd forsake Yudias and his people. Not willing to lose the part of Yuhi that he had left, Chupataro bit his tongue, buried his pain, and concentrated on his child in front of him.
Yuhi…No, Otes might come to claim his missing Earthdama to complete the loop.
Chupataro absolutely couldn't let him have it.
"Damamu, come with Papa, chupa!"
"Eh? Where we goin'? Where? Where?" Damamu spun in circles excitedly.
"Rush Duel with Papa, cabra!"
"Rush Duel?"
"Chupa, chupa! We can Rush Duel as much as you want, chupa!"
Duel Damamu so many times, Damamu considered him the favourite parent! So many times, Damamu wouldn't go with Otes should Otes turn up to take back his Earthdama!
It was a vain (not in vain) and simplistic approach, but…Damamu had simple wants.
Entertainment.
Enjoyment.
Buying Damamu's love with curry udon was his first thought, only Goha had jacked up the prices on everything. Since Asaka was no longer the one behind the desk, her offer for all-you-can-eat no longer applied.
Rush Duels were the next best alternative.
Chupataro could do this.
This would work.
"We can? Yay! Yay! I love Rush Duels! Are we Rush Duellin' yet~?"
