"You'd be surprised how many Duelists don't read their cards," Kuaidul quipped. "It's sort of a meme."
"What's a meme?"
"Right up there with Dramatic Crossroad, Playmaker's head on a horse, and 'I could so swipe left on you right now.'"
His gibberish explanation merited an incredulous face. Like the faces she used to petrify Ryoga with, when digging her hooks in about his dislike of onions and green peppers.
The blood vessels in Damas' eyes popped. He smashed his tendrils petulantly over the floor tiles (nearly dispatching the unawake Dr. Faker), the ruptured vinyl refixing Rio and Kuaidul's attention on him.
"Public death for the bold one who incurred the monarch's death! I activate Beargram's effect, destroying all face-up monsters on the field that aren't Insect-Type or Plant-Type!"
Crystal Zero disappeared into the antlion.
…only for Rio to unveil her Trap.

"What a pity! I activated Torrential Reborn! When the WATER-Attribute Crystal Zero is destroyed, she is Special Summoned, and you take 500 damage!"

"Magic Card, Deck Parisitizer! I send Anti-Aircraft Flower and a Continuous Magic Card from my field to the Graveyard, and Deck Parisitizer cannibalizes three Insect-Types from my Deck!"
"Three of them at once?"
"I remove these three! Live again, Beargram!"

"Take a closer look. Now that Crystal Zero has recovered an Overlay Unit, unless you want to lose your Ace Monster by battle, Beargram can't attack or activate his effect this turn."

"My turn! Draw! With Crystal Zero on the field, I'm able to Special Summon Ljod Migratory from my hand!"

Ragna Infinity twitched around, drained the red energy of the Chaos Overlay Unit's barialite into her semilunar scythe, then fired a reddish-purple wave from the curvature of the bottom blade at Nomuratodamas and Beargram.
"Guidance to Purgatory!"

Nomuratodamas had no monsters. The Trap Card, Plant Food Chain. Unusable.
Rio set her crimson sights on absolute-zeroing his Life Points; CNo. 103, her golden sights on sending her scythe whirling. Out to sever. Out to slice.
"Predict this! I attack directly with Ragna Infinity!"
