After the battle Izuku and Cilan talk about the Nimbasa Subway and different trains used in it. " Indeed what about the battle trains, how are they made?" Cilan questions with stars in his eyes.
"Well the metal used is created by a special process of using a Pokémon flames and and the different metals such as steel which makes it stronger against Pokémon attacks so it can withstand pretty much and move, then the train is made with a special design that my Dad and Papa came up with to be able to have battles on the train then the metal is melted to the the to form the shape the cabin in a three or four different pieces because the ceiling and wall pieces need to be formed separately then they are then spot welded together. Then the new train is tested after the engine, suspension, and wheels are put into place. Then it is sent down to Nimbasa Subway. Which can take a couple of months due to the intense process," Izuku says.
Cilan's eyes are glowing and he starts to say, " That is amazing now what about…" "Ok that's enough you two have been talking well over three hours. We need to get back to work, Cilan," Chili responds while he and Cress drag Cilan away towards the kitchen. "But I want to talk about the pretty trains more," Cilan whines. " Thank you for battling at the Striaton City Gym," Cress says over his shoulder. Izuku blinks in surprise before heading outside, seeing that it was not the morning anymore. "Well we better head to the Pokémon Center to get Litwick looked at then we will have lunch before heading out. Doesn't that sound good Joltik, Litwick," Izuku says to Joltik and Litwick while walking down the road to the Pokémon Center." The two Pokémon cheer happily at that. After a quick stop at the Pokemon Center to get Litwick checked out Izuku stops in at a nice little deli that allows Pokémon. After having a nice meal the three walk to the entrance of Route 3 before heading out towards Nacrene City.
Over the course of the afternoon Izuku battles a few other trainers with Joltik and Litwick, who both master Bug Bite and Will-o-wisp, before stopping at a clearing beside the river for the night. The next morning as Izuku is walking along a dirt path with a fence when he hears a loud noise ahead. Looking up he sees a bunch of Pokemon going crazy in a big field behind a building. "Now everyone no need to get so worked up," An old woman with silver hair and brown cowboy hat yells while trying to calm them down, only for a Tympole to launch a water gun at her. " Quick Litwick use ember to counter full speed, Joltik electroweb to contain that Tympole," Izuku yells while pointing forward. Litwick jumps forward launching ember countering the water gun, causing steam to appear. Joltik launches out an electroweb trapping the Tympole. Izuku runs up to the woman before helping her up while asking, " Are you alright ma'am. All engines in working order?" "I'm fine young man, thank you for the help," she responds. "No problem so what was that derailment all about?" Izuku questions while looking at the now calmed down Pokémon. " My name is Karena
and well I run a Pokémon Daycare and recently a wild Scrafty has been showing up and causing quite the stir. Scaring all the Pokémon and destroying a few fences," Karena frowns. "Well I'm more than willing to help get things back on track, and help solve your Scrafty problem. By the way my name is Izuku Kandó, " Izuku smiles at Karena with Joltik and Litwick joining in. "Thank you Izuku, that would be wonderful," Karena replies with a smile. Then through the rest of the day Izuku, Joltik, and Litwick help Karena fix the fences and clean up the broken parts until late afternoon. " Well thank you for all your help young man, well for all your hard work let me at least give you dinner," Karena smiles while leading the way into the daycare. Izuku and Karena have dinner while talking about Pokémon breeding and egg moves.
Right as they were finishing a loud roar an explosion happens causing Izuku and Karena to run outside to see the Scrafty roaming around at the different Pokémon as I'd trying to find one in particular and attacking any Pokemon who got too close. After a few moments the Scrafty seems to get frustrated and starts launching attacks every which way, while yelling, "Scrafty Scra Scra Scrafty fty." Before long it sighs before sitting down. "Um Karena at one point did you have any other Pokémon here, any stronger ones by chance?" Izuku questions after observing Scrafty for a few minutes. " Yes there was a trainer that had a Sawk and Throh that liked sparring even at night, left here for a few weeks," Karena responds in a curious tone. "Well there is the problem. I think this Scrafty was also their sparring partner and now that they are gone it's getting upset over that fact." Izuku hums while looking at the downcast Scrafty.
Izuku then slowly makes his way over making sure that Scrafty notices him before sitting down beside Scrafty and saying, "You miss your friends don't you." Scrafty simply nods and sighs. Karena walks up before saying sadly, " I'm sorry Scrafty that your friends are not here, but they belong to someone else who left them here for a bit. But I can contact them and see if they would be willing to catch you too if you want Scrafty." Scrafty immediately perks up and waving arms around while cheering its name over and over again. "Well I will take that as a yes. I will call them tomorrow morning then. You can stay here tonight if you like Scrafty," Karena smiles. Scrafty nods before walking over to a tree and sitting against it. "Thank you for your help with figuring out what was wrong with Scrafty, Izuku," Karena addresses Izuku. "No problem, I'm just glad we settled the problem in your station," Izuku replies while smiling. Then they both yawn tiredly before Karena offers the guest room to Izuku for the night. They both go to bed that night relaxed after that hard day of work.
The next morning Karena calls the trainer and finds out both Sawk and Throh were getting depressed too. The trainer happily welcomed Scrafty to the team and said he would be there in the next few days. "Well thank you for your hospitality Karena. I hope to see you again some day. It's time for me to go full speed ahead to Nacrene City, " Izuku says to Karena while tipping his hat. "Before you leave I have a reward for you," Karena replies while handing over an incubator with a blue Pokémon egg inside. " Now I'm not going to tell you what Pokemon is inside but I will say that it is not native to the Unova region," Adds on after a moment. " Thank you so much I promise to take good care of whatever Pokémon hatches from this egg," Izuku says with tears in his eyes and a smile on his face. With both Joltik and Litwick cheering in agreement, before all of them start heading down the path towards Nacrene City.
