Izuku sits while looking out the window worrying about if he's going to not be allowed to continue his journey. He gently pets his Pokémon to help calm him down while he remembers how he saved Jangmo-o from Liepard.
After seeing the poacher and Liepard unable to move he runs over to the cages and starts opening them and says, " Get out of here while you can." After a few minutes Izuku sees that the paralysis is starting to wear off as he finishes freeing the last Pokémon from its cage. "Lie-Liepard," the poacher's Liepard growls while slowly standing glaring evilly before launching forward claws glowing. Izuku realizes the Pokémon won't be able to dodge so he grabs it and turns his back to protect it. Then the attack hits, launching Izuku away as he cries out in pain as he hits the ground. Izuku quickly stands and dodges another attack before running into the forest with Litwick and Joltik right beside him.
Izuku shudders remembering the pain of the attack and the evil glare of that Liepard. Izuku honestly hopes to never see that Pokémon ever again. "Jolt-Joltik-tik?" Joltik questions while nuzzling Izuku's hand with Litwick and Jangmo-o looking at him in concern. Izuku smiles at them before saying, " Nothing to worry about, just thinking about what happened the other day." Izuku looks out the window realizing they are almost at Nimbasa City station. Izuku waits as the train stops and the doors open revealing Dad and Papa standing there waiting. Papa rushes forward and pulls him into a hug while Dad walks up to him gently patting his head. Izuku looks at them curiously before quietly asking, " You're not mad at me?" "No, we just really worried, but we can talk more about that at home," Dad says after a moment. They head off the train and out of the station towards home.
As they sit down on the couch after getting Izuku settled back in his room, Izuku looks at his dad and Papa who sit on the couch beside him one on the left and the other on the right. "We wanted to ask, do you know why you're in trouble?" Dad questions him in a serious but gentle tone. "Um, is it because I decided to fight the poacher by myself?" Izuku responds, tilting his head curiously. " No, we will never be upset at you doing the right thing. It was because you didn't call us to let us know you were alright and didn't stay to let the medics check you over for any lasting damage. So when Officer Jenny called letting us know what happened we nearly had a heart attack," Papa states while gently hugging Izuku. Izuku starts crying, switching to Unova language, " I'm sorry I didn't mean to worry you two." Dad quickly joins the hug and gently calms him down before he says, "That's why you are going to be grounded for two weeks and not allowed to do any Pokémon battles until then. Also you will have to call us at every Pokémon Center you stop from now on." Izuku wipes the tears away with a tissue he is handed before nodding and saying, "Ok." " Now that is out of the way, why don't we get something to eat and watch that new documentary on trains in the Paldea region." Papa says. They all agree and have a nice family night together with Izuku telling them about his journey and even showing them the egg he received, as well as introducing his new Pokemon Jangmo-o while having dinner. Then they all sit down and watch the documentary before heading to bed for the evening.
