Over the next two weeks of being grounded at home Izuku trains his Pokémon, writes more in his notebooks, and spends time with Dad and Papa. They help him train or he helps at Gear Station running paperwork or cheering them on when they battle. The most exciting thing to happen is the egg hatching. Izuku remembers it fondly while watching his Pokémon play together.

Izuku is setting up the table for dinner while his dads cook dinner when a beeping noise is heard. Izuku sets down the dishes he was holding to follow the noise to the living room seeing his incubator hatching indicator going off along with the egg glowing. Izuku rushes over, taking the egg out and setting it down on the folded towel that his Dad got out once he walked in to see what was going on.

They all sit down in front of the egg with Papa joining once he turns the stove off. "So is there a specific Pokémon you're hoping for, little passenger?" Papa asks while the glow starts getting stronger. "No, just as long as it's healthy and happy I don't care what kind or type of Pokémon it is," Izuku responds right as a cracking sound is heard while the egg glows so bright they have to cover their eyes. "Rio-Lu Riolu," they hear, uncovering their eyes to see a bipedal yellow and black dog. Izuku smiles while gently picking up the Pokémon for it to cuddle and bark happily. "Friendly little guy isn't he," Dad says while gently petting its head. "I'm going to scan it with the Pokédex," Izuku says, pulling out the Pokédex and turning it towards the Pokemon in his arms. A picture appears showing a blue Riolu.

"So Riolu is a different color from other of its kind. That doesn't matter, he's going to be an awesome member of my team," Izuku says while setting down the Pokédex before petting his new Pokémon some more.

"Izuku time to head to Gear Station!" Dad yells from the front, snapping Izuku out of the memory. "I'll be there in a minute," Izuku yells out before returning his Pokémon except Joltik who crawls up to sit on hat. Then he runs from the back yard to inside grabbing his bag before meeting his Dad at the door.

They then head out down the path towards Gear Station, "So what's on the schedule today?" Izuku asks while smiling happily. "Today Emmet had to go in early to prepare for a battle scheduled on the Double lines today. While you and I will be handling a little paperwork before you will be taking over one of the Depot aides battle on the Single line today while I observe and see how you do," Dad replies with his eyes spark with happiness.

"WHAT really?" Izuku exclaims eyes wide while looking at his Dad. "Because remember how you handled the situation last week when Emmet and I were busy and that passenger caused a scene. We were so proud and decided to give you a reward," He replies before nearly being knocked off his feet by Izuku who hugs him.

When they get to the Station they get to work right away with Ingo reading and going over the paperwork in the office while Izuku helps organize everything Izuku thinks about the incident that Dad talked about.

Izuku is walking through the station observing all the different people coming and going. When he hears yelling. Quickly walking in the direction he sees two arguing and about ready to start brawling. Izuku walks over and asks, " Is there a problem here?" The two turn towards him and one says, " Yeah this guy nearly ran me over." The other says, " I said I was sorry but I have an emergency going on at home and need to leave." "It doesn't matter, you should be more careful," the first one responds. The two go back to arguing before Izuku lets out a loud whistle making them cover their ears. "That's enough there is no reason to fight, he's apologized and I'm sure if you had an emergency you would be acting very similar so, why don't you forgive and move forward. Also as for you please no running inside the station that's how accidents can occur. Now let me help you to get on the right track to your destination," Izuku responds with a frown turning into a smile halfway through. He then leads both of them who have calmed down to the currently boarding trains.

"Izuku are you ready to go," Dad asks, snapping him out of his memory. "Yep all ready to head out to our next station," Izuku smiles at him. He can't wait to do this battle and hopes everything goes well.
