"I have to go– My kids are alone– And my husband– No one knows where he is. I'm scared he might– he's been so down lately–" She stopped abruptly, unable to make herself say what she was thinking.

For a second it looked like a shadowy figure was whispering in Harry's ear, but it disappeared as soon as Kim looked at it directly. Kim pulled off his glasses and started wiping them with his handkerchief. "What's going on, detective?" he muttered. Harry shook his head. "Something's wrong," Harry replied. "Something bad is about to happen."

While working on the mystery of the church, Soona and Kim have a little chat.

Harry offers Kim a place to stay a few nights a week to reduce his commute, but the reality of it proves much more challenging than the idea.

One month after The Hanged Man, the air in Revachol is charged with change, with hints of bloody revolution. Detectives Harrier Du Bois and Jean Vicquemare are on a new case. AU. Trant is a businessman and Jean is an escort, and they meet when Trant is on a business trip.

Trant is an explorer who comes to Jean's village, searching for a guide to take him to the tomb of King Filippe III. Jean is good with languages but bad with people, what could possibly go wrong?

Jean has discovered that Trant is a spy, and Trant must use all the options at his disposal to try to bring the situation under his control.

Trant and Jean confess their feelings for each other in their own peculiar ways.

Some time after leaving the RCM for a new position, Trant calls around to see Jean for the goodbye he never got to say.

The strike breakers arrive in Martinaise and the Frittte clerk seeks shelter at the Whirling.

Harry has concerns about something in his mouth. Kim investigates.

Kim and Harry try to play Wirrâl, which leads to them also trying some other stuff.

After the case in Martinaise is wrapped up, Kim and Harry return to their respective precincts and their old lives. Harry struggles to re-adjust and finds himself missing his one-time partner terribly.

Kim's trip back home to transport the corpse to Precinct 57 is cut short by a report of an officer down in Martinaise. It's Harry, of course it's Harry. Kim is all too happy to run to his rescue.

Okay, this one is pretty self-explanatory. Plagued by nightmares, Harry goes to Kim in the middle of the night.

Harry asks Kim why he never calls him by name, and the answer surprises him. And when Kim does say his name, he likes it a little too much.

After going on a bender, Harry wakes up three times to find Kim watching over him like his personal guardian angel.

Dreams are dreams and reality is reality. Until one day, the world turns upside down and Klaasje Amandou loses herself in something that might be something else entirely.
