The 1 hour lunch break at the U.A. Sports festival had begun.

Students began to leave the stadium in order to rest and get beverages.

As they did so, some students conversed with each other as they made their way outside the stadium.

Some congratulated each other on their victories while others caught up with each other.

But one student in particular had an important conversation to have with one of his fellow classmates.

"Midoriya."

Midoriya turned around feeling a hand on his shoulder only to see Todoroki staring at him with a cold glare.

"We need to talk."

"U-um sure." Midoriya stuttered out as he was caught off guard by the boy's sudden request, or really more of a demand from the way he had said it.

Todoroki begins to walk away from the crowd motioning for Midoriya to follow which he does so.

While Todoroki attempted to be desecrate about the matter unfortunately for him it did not go unnoticed

Terra had seen the interaction from the corner of her eye and had also discretely disappeared from the crowd in order to hear what they were speaking about it

However she hadn't been the only one of the students to notice this either.

Bakugo had caught onto this as well and was going to find out what Icy hot and that damn nerd were going to speak about.

Seeing that the two had made their way to the front entrance of one of the exits that wasn't being used he figured he could go back in and go through the hall that connected all the exits to listen to the two of them talk without being spotted.

So that's exactly what he did.

He had made his way to the hallway making sure not to make too much noise as he did so before reaching the doorway Midoriya and Todoroki now stood at.

Bakugo stayed behind the wall to remain hidden as he waited to hear them speak.

As Bakugo leaned against the wall he saw someone out of the corner of his eye, he quickly turned his head only to see that it was Goldilocks.

He hadn't seen or heard her come in, he would be lying if he said it didn't startle him the way she was able to just creep up on him without making a sound.

Before he could say anything Terra put a finger over her mouth and gestured her head toward Midoriya and Todoroki, conveying a message to Bakugo to not run his mouth so they wouldn't get caught.

Bakugo sneered for a moment before opting not to say anything and listen in with Goldilocks.

He didn't like that she was here too but at the moment he couldn't do anything about it.

Todoroki stared at Midoriya with his usual cold glare while Midoriya stood there with a nervous expression

There was a tense moment of silence before Izuku tried to break it.

"You brought me here Todoroki, why?"

Todoroki said nothing in response as he just glared at Midoriya

"We should probably go and grab something to eat soon, the cafeteria is going to be packed with people." Izuku said as he began to become more nervous at Todoroki's silence.

Todoroki was very intimidating, unlike Kacchan who was Intimidating through his loud and abrasive nature, Todoroki was Intimidating through his quiet yet imposing demeanor.

"You managed to overwhelm me, and that caused me to break a promise I made to myself a long time ago." Todoroki said, breaking the silence.

Izuku glances over to his left arm as he thinks. 'He could have had such an advantage if he used his fire, his fire and Ice combined surely would've secured his victory in the obstacle race and the cavalry battle, and yet he didn't.' Izuku thought to himself before Todoroki began to speak again.

"None of them felt it, not Momo, Not Kaminari, not Iida, Uraraka, Tokoyami, none of them felt it. In that moment I was the only one who could feel your true power, it reminded me of something, it reminded me of All Might's quirk."

Bakugo's eyes widen at this fact as he turns to look at Terra who looks back at him with a narrow and focused gaze, completely different from how he normally saw the girl. She then turned her head away as she leaned against the wall listening intently to the conversation.

"Oh uh.. ok.. is that all todoroki?" Midoriya asked as he was clearly uncomfortable with where this conversation was going.

"I'm saying the power coming from you felt the same as All Might's."

"Midoriya, tell me. Are you a bastard child of All Might?" Todoroki asked bluntly.

Izuku stood there completely dumbfounded and caught off guard by the question.

'Am I? WHAT!?' Izuku internally screamed.

Izuku then thought back to when Todoroki first confronted him before the sports festival began.

'I guess there's some merit to why he'd think that but still.' Izuku thought to himself.

"Well, are you?" Todoroki asked.

"No no that's not it at all! But I guess even if I was I'd totally say I wasn't, you wouldn't believe me either way! Anyway I promise you got the wrong idea!" Izuku stammered out nervously before asking Todoroki a question of his own.

"What made you come to a conclusion like that about me anyway?"

However Todoroki completely ignored this question as he replied.

"You saying that's not it at all is interesting wording, it suggests that there is something between you two that you're not supposed to talk about."

Terra narrowed her eyes somewhat at this, Todoroki was right, her training with the shadows taught her how to analyze the way people talked as well as body language. While she couldn't see Izuku from where she was she could tell by the way he sounded that his body language would probably convey that he had something to hide.

He and All Might definitely had some kind of connection, and now Todoroki brought up the fact that Midoriya's quirk is similar to All Mights.

She hadn't seen his quirk in action much yet for herself but from what she had heard he didn't have much control over his quirk and would often break and even in some cases shatter bones attempting to use his quirk.

Her only question now was what the connection exactly was, she knew from the files the shadows had given to her on Izuku that Toshinori Yagi was not his father, at least not on record anyway, that title belonged to a Hisashi Midoriya, who himself was a suspicious figure in his own right, not that there was much to dig into really. But her head was ringing with possibilities, perhaps this was a Batman, Robin scenario, where Izuku acted as a apprentice to All Might, while the sidekicks of this earth were different in many ways, there was still the possibility and in with the information she has currently the most likely possibility of something to that effect being the case.

bakugo looked at Terra and saw how focused she was and how she positioned herself against the wall, and couldn't shake the feeling that something about her felt off, sneaking and eavesdropping on Icy Hot and that needs conversation was one thing, it wasn't like he could criticize her for that since he was doing it too, however the way her facial expression and body language changed it was like a switch had been flipped and she had become a completely different person.

For now he felt best to push this thought to the back of his mind, it was most likely nothing and Goldilocks was just acting weird.

Izuku looked at him surprised he had come to such a conclusion, he opened his mouth to speak but couldn't find the words, opting to avert his gaze from Todoroki instead out of nervousness.

"My father is the pro hero Endeavor, you've surely heard about him, which means you know that he's the number one hero following All Might's retirement. So if you're connected to the former number one hero All Might in some way that would mean that I have even more reason to beat you."

Izuku stared at him, still nervous but now also curious as to where Todoroki was going with all of this.

"My old man is ambiguous, he aims for the top. He used his power to make a name for himself as a hero, but throughout his career he was never able to best All Might, so the symbol of peace was living proof of his failure."

"So you can imagine his reaction upon finding out that All Might not only lost but was forced to retire due to villains the same age as us. The title of number one basically fell onto his lap."

"From his point of view he didn't earn the title of number one, All Might had to fail in order for him to succeed. He had been at it all his life trying to take down all might."

"I don't understand, what are you trying to tell me Todoroki?" Izuku asked, still not sure what Todoroki was getting at with all of this.

"Have you ever heard of quirk marriages?" Todoroki asked.

Izuku was somewhat shocked by that question but he nodded and replied. "I have."

Todoroki then continued his explanation. "They became a problem in the first few generations of the quirk era. There were those who sought out mates with the sole purpose of creating powerful children, many were forced into marriages, they were simply viewed as old-fashioned arranged marriages, but clearly it was unethical. My father has not only a rich history of accomplishments but plenty of money to throw at his problems, he brought my mothers relatives to get his hands on her quirk. And now he's been raising me to usurp All Might, but with All Might gone my father is still not satisfied if anything the attack at the USJ made him more aggressive than he has been before."

Izuku stood there stunned in shock at the revelation, he was unable to find the words to say before Todoroki continued.

"It's infuriating, I refuse to be a tool for that bastard. In every memory of my mother I only see her crying, I remember she called my left side unbearable, before she threw boiling water on my face." Todoroki said as he put his hand over the scar on the left side of his face.

At this point Izuku looked mortified at what Todoroki had told him, this was horrible, the fact that his mother did that to him, and the fact that his dad treated him the way he did, it was so jarring and sickening to think about.

From behind the wall both Terra and Bakugo's eyes went wide with shock as they both glanced at each other for a brief moment, no words were exchanged but the emotion on both their faces was more than enough to express their shock toward one another at what they just heard.

Gone was the girl who just moments earlier seemed to have been completely focused in an attempt to gain intel on both Izuku Midoriya and Shoto Todoroki and in her place was a girl who was mortified at what she had heard happened to a fellow classmate.

She had known that unlike the heroes of her society the ones here tended to have other motives besides helping others, rather it be fame, or fortune, which would make for a rather corrupt society and a bunch of heroes who were only heroes for their own selfish reasons, however she didn't think it could be that bad.

She tried to give the heroes of this world the benefit of the doubt, after all there weren't a whole lot of big threats on this world, that combined with the fact that there was an over saturation of heroes it would make sense heroes would be become a corporatized market with a majority of companies and businesses of this world being hero related or made to help heroes in some way shape or form.

Terra could understand the rigorous training and even to an extent the way Shoto was created. However what really made her dislike all of this was why he had done it, while Slade trained her rigorously and the light had done things that many would argue is worse than what Endeavor has done, her reason for disliking the man's actions was simple.

He did it not for the betterment of society, or the betterment of humanity. He had done it only for himself, to satisfy his ambition and his greed. He acted not out of necessity or rationality like the light did, or even the league for that matter, she found it disgusting, even the Justice League though enemies of the Light and the Shadows, weren't this deplorable.

However this is not why she was so shocked and mortified, the part that had truly done that was the the part about Todoroki's mom, the fact that she had done that to him, her hate for his father so powerful that she would permanently scar her own son because of it. It really drove home that not just Endeavor but likely the entire family had some serious issues.

She couldn't blame Todoroki for refusing to use his fire, though a part of her found it dumb and irrational, a petty part of her could see why he wouldn't bother to give that man the satisfaction of using his flames.

For Bakugo the fact that Todoroki's mother had done that to him made his stomach turn, he may not have cared for the extra but even he could admit he didn't deserve that.

Now because of his shitty father, Icy Hot had been holding back on him, of course he knew the boy had a fire quirk from the start and hated that he was holding back as if he was looking down on him, but now it was different, it didn't change that he was still pissed about him not using his full power but it still was eye opening.

Both Terra and Bakugo's thoughts came to a stop as Todoroki continued. "The reason I picked a fight with you was to show my old man that I was more than capable of handling myself in a fight without relying on the bastard's fire quirk. I will show him that I reject his power, and I can take first place without using it." Todoroki's face then turned to one of seriousness and determination.

Midoriya opened his mouth to speak but couldn't get any words out, as he was processing Todoroki's words to him Todoroki stared at him for a brief moment before he began to walk away.

However as Todoroki began walking away he spoke once more. "You're obviously connected to All Might in some way, even if you refuse to tell me about it, and no matter how hard you try against me in the future I will defeat you using only my right side. That, I can promise you."

Izuku stared at Todoroki as he thought about their conversation. 'This is why Todoroki is so focused, he has a chip on his shoulder, desperate to send a message to his dad.

Izuku then chased after Todoroki as he walked away leaving a still stunned Bakugo and Terra.

Bakugo just stared at the ground as the entire conversation he heard between Deku and Icy Hot began to sink in.

After a moment Terra managed to steel herself before looking at Bakugo, she had hoped to ask him about his relationship with Midoriya and why he seemed to have it out for him, however he didn't seem to be in much of a talking mood.

There was a tense moment of silence before Terra had begun to walk off.

However as she did she was stopped by the voice of none other than Bakugo.

"Goldilocks, not a word of this to anyone." He said, as he gave her a calm but at the same time stern look.

Terra could quickly tell that this wasn't Bakugo's usual raged demeanor, but a more serious, perhaps even pleading look.

Terra nodded before speaking. "What we heard in there stays between us." Terra assured.

The two stood there in silence for a brief moment before walking off. Terra soon walked off as well deciding it would be best to go and eat in order to gather her strength for the next event.

Endeavor was currently making his way down the stairs after leaving the stands of the stadium following the conclusion of the cavalry battle.

However he was stopped when he heard a strange yet familiar voice call out to him.

"Endeavor."

He turned back to look at who called him only for his face to morph into a deep scowl.

"All Might." Endeavor practically growled out as he glared at the skinny and frail man who was once the symbol of peace.

"It's been awhile, in fact I haven't seen you since that press conference 10 years ago. We should catch up." All Might said as he gave a small smile hoping Endeavor would take the time to talk with him.

"Catch up? What could we possibly catch up on? Your failure? The fact that you, the symbol of peace, allowed a bunch of hooligans to reduce you to what you are now? You're a failure All Might, all those years, all that work, only to be beaten and humiliated on national television by children. You're a disgrace, and no one should think of you when they think of the word hero. And you better believe that I have no intention in following your footsteps of failure." Endeavor spat out with venom in his voice before speaking again.

"Now if that is all you wanted then we are done here. Talking as if we are friends, what a joke."

All Might raised a hand and was going to call out to him but no words came out as he looked down and sighed letting his arm fall limply to his side.

Part of him expected this to happen, Endeavor never really seemed to like him, not to mention his rather abrasive nature, so Endeavor being displeased at him for his defeat at the hands of Alpha-1.

All Might looked at his hands with a frown, while he did his best not to show it his defeat that day at the USJ still bothered him, not only because he let his students down and his defeat led to Power Loader being killed but also due to the current and future repercussions it would have. Crime rates were already spiking rapidly as it was not to mention all the missing children, if he had managed to stop and detain those kids, hell if he had even just gotten one of them, they could have interrogated them and learned more about this supposed villain school and put a stop to it. Perhaps Endeavor was right, All Might not only failed his students and colleagues but the victims of the crimes that happened as a result of his humiliating defeat and all the families of missing children he failed because he couldn't stop Alpha-1.

All Might just sighed and walked away with his shoulders slumped, at this point the only saving grace as of right now was Midoriya was his only hope, the only one who could truly bare the responsibility of being the symbol of peace, he just prays young Midoryia does not make the same mistakes that he did.

Following her eavesdropping on Izuku and Todoroki's conversation Terra had made her way to the lunch room where everyone had gone to eat.

Upon arriving and grabbing a tray of food, Terra began to find a seat when she noticed the fellow girls of the class were all talking with each other about something.

Seeing this she decided to go over to the girls and see what they were talking about.

"Hey guys, what's going on?" Terra asked as she began to eat.

"Terra, good you're finally here." Momo said as she looked at terra.

"Yeah, and just in time too." Uraraka added.

"In time? In time for what?" Terra asked with a look of confusion present on her features.

"Apparently all the girls are required to partake in a cheerleading competition in the sports festival." Jiro said before sighing. "Man this is the absolute fucking worst."

Terra had dropped her chopsticks as she was about to take another bite of her lunch, her chopsticks falling on her trey.

"What?" terra asked, her previous look of confusion replaced with one of shock and nervousness.

"Yeah, I'm not mad at them for having us do it, just mad at them for not telling us in advance, we could have actually gotten some practice in." Mina said with a pout.

On the surface Terra appeared shocked and nervous but on the inside she was grinning. It seemed her plan was actually working.

"Have any of you guys done cheer before, I've never done it." Uraraka asked as she was also nervous regarding this new development.

"Oh I have! And it's actually pretty fun, you'll all love I promise!" Toru said excitedly

"How did this even happen? Who told you guys this?" Terra asked, her nervous look replaced with one of curiosity.

"When we came back we briefly went to the girls locker room and we found these." Momo replied before showing Terra a note telling the girls about the cheerleading contest.

"One of the staff must have put those in our lockers during the first half of the sports festival." Tsu mused.

"Well regardless of that we must get changed, the contest starts soon and we need to be ready for when it does." Momo said though she didn't sound entirely sure about this herself.

Terra followed the other girls from the cafeteria to the girl's locker room in order to change, since the girls had not been given their own cheer outfits Momo had to make the outfits for herself and the other girls of class 1-A.

The sports festival was about to resume soon as some students began to make their way onto the field to partake in the various side games that were available, however all of the students saw something very unexpected, but for many of the boys in particular it was quite the welcome sight.

Before them stood all the girls of class 1-A wearing cheerleading outfits standing across from the American cheerleaders, all with looks on their faces that conveyed that the girls had all come to the same conclusion.

They were tricked

"Woah, looks like class 1-A is going full on fan service!" Present Mic announced over the intercom.

The American looked at the girls with various expressions ranging from confused to nearly bursting into laughter.

Momo fell to her knees in defeat.

"I can't believe I fell for such an obvious trick, I even went out my way to make these outfits myself." Momo said in defeat as Uraraka moved to pat her back reassuringly.

Terra let out her own sigh. "Well we're already out here in front of all these people looking ridiculous, at least it can't get any worse."

"Ugh I can't believe this! This is total bullshit!" Jirou yelled out in frustration as she threw her pom poms on the ground.

"Well we do have a little time before the festival starts and I kind of like these outfits so how about we just roll with it!" Toru suggested as she began to do a cheerleader dance.

"Wow toru, you've got skills." Tsu complimented.

"How can I be so unlucky." Momo groaned out.

Terra looked at her. "Oh cheer up Momo you're not unlucky, you're one of the smartest girls in the class, and the richest, and…" Terra took a moment to observe her…various assets. "And other other things." Terra finished.

"Thank you Terra, I suppose things could be worse." Momo said as she stood back up

"Yeah no problem." Terra said before she stared down at her own chest and frowned, she would be lying if she said she wasn't slightly jealous of Momo. she would kill for a body like that. Hers was more in between Toru's and Mina's, she figured it wasn't too bad, it could be worse, she could be like Jirou, now that would suck.

"I think we might have to participate in this cheerleading tournament." Tsu commented.

"Aw man seriously? This is the worst." Mina said with a pout.

"Well girl's at this point I don't think we have much of a choice, I think the best thing we can do is what Toru said, roll with it. Besides who knows, we just might enjoy it." Terra told the girls as she gave them a reassuring smile.

Uraraka nodded in agreement with a smile. "Terra is right, it could end up being a lot of fun."

"No, no way am I doing this shit, someone tricked us, and when I find out who did I swear.." Jirou said in protest as she let the threat hang in the air.

"Aw come on Jirou, can't knock it till you try it." Terra said in an attempt to convince Jirou to take part.

"Yeah, come on Jirou, don't leave us hanging." Mina chimed in.

Jirou let out a huff. "Fine, but you guys owe me for this shit."

"All right girls, this may have not been planned but let's show these guys nobody does it better than UA high!" Terra said in an attempt to hype the girls up which seemed to work as their spirits uplifted slightly.

The girls partook in the unscheduled cheerleading contest, and from the reactions the crowd had to it it seemed U.A. had won the tournament much to the dismay of the American cheerleaders, especially with the help of Toru's skills and Mina's surprisingly ability to break dance, which while unorthodox managed to win the crowd over.

The girls surprisingly ended up having fun like Terra had predicted, even Jirou seemed to enjoy it despite doing her best not to show it.

Following the cheerleading contest, the other side's games commenced and were largely enjoyed by the crowd, and as the games went on the girls discussed what they had just done.

"Told you guys you'd end up enjoying it." Terra said with a grin

"Yeah, that actually ended up being pretty fun." Uraraka said with a smile.

Tsu nodded in agreement before saying something. "Yeah, and I didn't know you could dance like that Mina."

"Yeah it's a skill I picked up a few years back, I was considered the best dancer at my middle school." Mina said with a smile.

"I can see why." Terra said, a grin still on her face."

"I'll admit while it was not a sanctioned event it ended up being a pleasant experience." Momo added.

"Still can't believe we got tricked into that." Jirou said with her arms crossed.

"Well yeah but you ended up enjoying it too." Terra said teasingly.

"Yeah whatever." Jirou responded as she crossed her arms

"Guys I think the sports festival is about to start up again." Uraraka pointed out.

"Wow, What an amazing batch of side games! Especially the cheer part that was a dazzling performance from the class 1A cheer squad! Now that that's out the way we can move onto our fighting tournament where we will watch the finalists compete in a tournament style fighting competition!" Present Mic announced which got the crowd cheering with excitement.

By now the remaining participants had gathered around as Midnight was getting ready to explain the fighting tournament.

Some of the boys we're trying their hardest not to stare at the girls who we're still in their rather revealing cheerleading outfits.

"Aw yeah! Finally getting a chance to show what we're made of! I've watched these finals every year since I was a kid." Kirishima said, his excitement growing with each word that came out of his mouth

It was then that Midnight began to speak.

"For this tournament we will select two fighters at random, we will have two slots that selects the names of two people, once that is done the fights between the two contestants will proceed with the match before we move onto the next fight."

It was then that an unexpected voice cut in before Midnight could continue.

"Umm, excuse me. I think I'm going to withdraw."

Everyone gasped in surprise and turned to see who had spoken only to see Ojiro.

Izuku looked at Ojiro clearly shocked by his decision. "Ojiro? But why?" Izuku asked.

"But this is a great opportunity to get noticed, I strongly suggest you reconsider." Tenya added.

"I just don't feel right about it, I barely remember anything from the cavalry battle until the very end of it. I think it was that guy's quirk."

This got the attention of Izuku as he looked over to see the purple haired boy who had confronted their class.

The boy gazed at the spectacle for a moment before turning away.

Terra also seemed to notice this as her eyes narrowed suspiciously at the boy.

"I know that this is a great opportunity, I wish I could take advantage of it. But my conscience won't let me" Ojiro added as he looked down at his clenched fist.

"Please Ojiro, take time to consider this more carefully." Izuku urged not wanting to see his classmate abandon such an opportunity.

"I have ok!" Several of the students nearby seemed to flinch at that but before any of them could respond he continued. "Everyone gave their all in round two but I was just someone's puppet. I can't bring myself to advance if I don't even know how I got here. It just wouldn't be fair."

It was then that Toru spoke up. "You're making way too much of this! Just kill it in the finals and prove you should be here!"

Many of the other students nodded in agreement as Mina was next to speak

"Yeah what she said, I didn't do much in the battle either."

Ojiro put a hand over his face and grit his teeth. "That's not it. I'm talking about my pride here, I refuse to give that up."

"Uh excuse me."

Midnight and everyone else turned to see that the person who had just spoken was one of the boys from class 1B.

"Nirengeki Shoda of class 1b. I think I'm going to withdraw as well for the same reason, this isn't how i wanted to get here. It would go against the values of the festival to advance without earning my spot."

Kirishima looked at the spectacle in awe. "That's so manly."

Midnight stared at them in silence for a moment before she finally spoke.

"That kind of talk is incredibly naive boys! And it turns me on!" She said with the swing of her whip much to the confusion of the students and attendees. "Shoda! Ojiro! You're withdrawn!"

"With two contestants withdrawn we will need to select two individuals from the sixth place team in order to have enough contestants."

Following this a short discussion took place in which Kendo passed the roll to Tetsu Tetsu's team, citing that they had been frozen for a majority of the match and thet Tetsu Tetsu's team deserved it more.

In the end it was decided that Ibara Shiozaki and Tetsu Tetsu Tetsu Tetsu would advance to the fighting tournament.

"Now that that's settled, let's kick off the first fight!" Midnight said which got a rise out of the crowd.

The two slots on the jumbotron began to spin as the fighters of the first round.

Both the students and spectators watched in suspense as they waited to see who out of the batch of contestants would be picked first.

The slots both stopped spinning to reveal what the first match would turn out to be.

"Denki Kaminari Vs Tara Markov." Midnight shouted as everyone's gazes turned to the two contestants.

Terra was a bit caught off guard by this. While she knew she would have to fight she hadn't expected to be the first to fight.

She turned her head to look at Kaminari who looked back at her before grinning.

Terra stared at him for a moment before returning his facial expression with a grin of her own. "May the best hero win."

"May the best hero win- wait, are you going to fight me wearing that?" Kaminari asked as he gestured to her cheer outfit

Terra blushed a little as she was caught off guard by the question. "No, of course I'm not wearing this while we fight."

Not that Kaminari would mind, now that he was seeing the girl up close he would be lying to himself if he said she wasn't hot.

If anything the more he thought about it, she was what he'd think of when thinking of an American babe, blonde hair, blue eyes, and a slim yet fit body, nothing Yaoyorozu level but still pretty good in his opinion.

"You both will be given 5 minutes to prepare for the match, while the other contestants head to the stands." Ms Midnight said as both Kaminari and Terra nodded.

Terra and the other students began making their way back inside, Terra as well as all the girls of 1A would go to the locker rooms to change back into their gym uniforms.

However on her way to the locker room Terra was stopped by Pony Tsunatori.

"Oh hey Pony, what's up?" Terra asked as she looked at Pony curiously

"Oh I just wanted to wish you good luck on the match Terra." Pony said as she smiled at Terra

Terra smiled at her before nodding. "Oh, thanks Pony, I got this fight in the bag" Terra said as she pointed to herself with a grin.

"I also wanted to thank you, you helped me and the others advance, without you I'm not sure I would've made it this far." Pony said as she looked at the ground.

However Pony looked back toward Terra again upon feeling her hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, don't say that, we all worked together, and you pulled your weight and if it hadn't been for you we wouldn't have won. You did good back there Pony, and I know you'll be a great hero." Terra said, giving Pony a reassuring smile.

Pony stared at her in surprise before her lips curled up into a smile.

"Thank you, Terra."

"Anytime Pony."

When Kaminari learned of his upcoming fight with Terra he had flashed a confident grin at the girl, but behind that grin was a scared shitless Kaminari.

While he admired the girls' looks he had seen what his new classmate was capable of during the first two games, from floating on rocks to literally being able to go underground. It was crazy seeing the stuff she was capable of with her quirk.

What would he do if she attacked him from above? Hell what would he do if she attacked from below?

He then remembered what the girl did toward the end of the obstacle race, the giant pillars she sprang up from the ground and the rocks with mines inside them that she hurled towards Bakugo to get him away from her.

Remembering back to that and how he had to dodge all the falling mines from her attack toward Bakugo did not ease his worries, at that point there was only one thought going through his mind.

'Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck oh man I'm so fucked.'

Terra had gotten dressed in her gym uniform and was now waiting for her name to be called so she could walk out onto the stadium.

Cementoss had already finished setting up the battle arena, thanks to help from Recovery Girl and several surgeries his hands were able to be healed in time for the sports festival.

"Alright everyone let's cut to the good stuff and not delay these finals any longer! Let's welcome our first fighters!" Present Mic announced to the crowd as they got excited in anticipation for the first match of the finals.

"Up first it's the American transfer student who's taken this festival by surprise with her performance so far, it's Terra Markov of the hero course!" Present Mic said as she walked out onto the field and toward the battle area being met with cheers from an extremely excited and energetic crowd.

Many of the Americans in the crowd who came to see the sports festival began chanting USA, some even displayed American flags in the crowd

"Vs Denki Kaminari who is also from the hero course!" Present Mic announced as Kaminari walked out and toward the battle area with a smirk.

On the surface Kaminari seemed fine and ready for the fight ahead, however on the inside he hadn't gotten much better.

'Come on, come on I got this covered, just do what mom would do!'

"The rules are simple! immobilize your opponent or force him out of the ring! You can also win by getting the other person to cry uncle!" Present Mic explained as the two fighters walked onto the battle arena and stared each other down.

"Bring on the injuries cause we've got our very own recovery girl waiting on standby! So put your morals aside and don't be afraid to play dirty."

Cementoss made himself a chair on the sidelines of the battle area and sat down before speaking. "I'll stop anyone who tries to get too rough."

Kaminari stared at Terra as he thought. 'Man this is going to be tough, she's so strong! Man she's pretty cute though. Man this is terrible, I'll definitely have to try my luck with her, if I could just win this fight.'

"Alright let's do this!" Kaminari said as his grin faltered slightly showing a hint of nervousness and even a bit of fright. He had thought of making some quick conversation with Terra beforehand but quickly shoved the idea down.

"Ready! Begin!" Present Mic shouted as Kaminari's hands began to charge with electricity.

Denki knew that if he had any chance of winning this he would have to act fast and would need to give everything he had.

"Indiscriminate shock… One million volts!" Kaminari shouted as he threw both of his hands downward causing a large amount of electricity to go all over but a lot of the electricity seemed to be directed toward Terra.

Terra quickly made a wall from the concrete ground in front of her which protected her from the onslaught of electricity.

Kaminari's plan of attack did not work, not only did he fail to successfully hit his target, but because he was so caught up trying to quickly take Terra down, he had forgotten that the amount of power he would use would result in his brain being fried thus leaving him unable to do much of anything.

Terra noticed this and wasted no time in ending the fight. She made a pillar of concrete come up next to Kaminari before it curved as if it were a snake or a worm and rammed into him with enough force to knock him out of the arena.

Midnight raises her hand into the air before declaring. "Denki Kaminari is out of bounds! Tara Markov advances to the next round!"

To everyone watching, the fight had ended as quick as it had begun, with Kaminari attacking and Terra blocking his attack before delivering a swift counter that instantly knocked him out of bounds.

"Woah! That was an incredible display from Markov! She wasted no time in putting an end to that match!" Present Mic said.

"Kaminari used too much power and short circuited his brain in doing so, his attempt to go all out in one move, it was irrational and Terra took advantage of it." Aizawa said, adding his own input on the fight.

"And just like that we have our first victor of the finals! Give it up for class 1A's Tara Markov!"

Immediately the crowd roared as Terra was met with a barrage of cheers and applause from the crowd.

"Wow, that was incredible!" Izuku said from the stands where he and his fellow classmates sat and watched the match unfold whilst Izuku took down as many notes as he could on his notebook.

"Yeah Terra totally knocked it out of the park!" Uraraka said as she was happy to see her new classmate and friend advance.

"An impressive performance from Terra, she managed to avoid a rather powerful strike from her opponent and deliver an efficient and effective counter in order to remove her opponent from the designated battle zone."

"That extra fried his brain not even ten seconds into the fight, it's not like Goldilocks had to do much of anything." Katsuki said with his arms crossed.

"Well she managed to block that attack, I think that says something to her capabilities." Tsuyu commented.

"Tch, whatever." Bakugo grumbled dismissively.

Todoroki had merely narrowed his eyes upon seeing what the girl could do combat wise, despite this being only a small demonstration of her power in combat, Todoroki firmly believed that Markov was one of the strongest in their class alongside him, Bakugo, and Midoriya, based on what he had seen from this and the previous two games.

Terra had made her way up to the stands and was greeted by her classmates while Kaminari was taken to Recovery Girl."

"There you are Terra." Uraraka said with a smile.

"We saved a seat for you." Izuku said as he smiled as well.

Terra sat down on the seat they had saved for her as she spoke. "Thanks guys, I appreciate it."

"That was amazing Terra! You wasted no time in dispatching that guy." Pony said as she rushed to sit next to her much to the dismay of some of her 1B classmates.

"Told you I had it in the bag." Terra said nonchalantly

"I think the next fight is starting."

The next fight was Tsuyu vs Tokoyami

The two 1A students stood across from each other before the match began.

Once the match did begin both opponents immediately got to work with Tsuyu quickly going on the offensive using her tongue to do so.

However Tokoyami used his dark shadow to deflect these attacks before countering with attacks of his own, using dark shadow to blitz Tsuyu, despite her best efforts to dodge and strike back at Tokoyami, she had no way of getting to him due to dark shadow being between them and keeping her on the defensive.

This eventually led to Tsuyu being defeated by Tokoyami with Dark Shadow knocking her out of bounds.

The next fight was Tetsu Tetsu vs Kirishima, which ended up being a draw. The outcome wasn't all the same given that their quirks were identical to one another.

While they waited for the next fight to be announced Terra and Pony spent a bit of time better getting to know one another.

"So what part of America are you from Terra?" Pony asked.

"Oh i was born in Tucson Arizona but my family was always on the road so I bounced around parts of the west coast and the southwest, got to always see new places and meet new people, what about you Pony?"

"Oh me? I'm from Los Angeles! Born and raised." Pony said with a somewhat prideful smile.

"Oh wow, I've never been to Los Angeles but I have been to some parts of California." Terra replied, returning a smile of her own

"Wow that's pretty awesome! I hear Los Angeles is a pretty beautiful city!" Uraraka cut in as her and Izuku had listened in on the two girl's conversation.

"Yeah, it's pretty beautiful. Who knew two girls from the U.S. would end up in the top hero school halfway around the world in Japan." Pony commented.

"Yeah, if you told me five months ago that I would end up moving from America to Japan to go to Japan's top hero school I would've called you crazy." Terra said before letting out a chuckle.

It was then that the next fight was announced.

Mei Hatsume vs Momo Yaoyorozu.

Yaoyorozu stood from her seat before speaking. "Alright everyone, I'm off to my fight, wish me luck."

"You got this Yaoyorozu! Show them why you're the vice rep of 1A!" Mina exclaimed

"Good luck on your match Yaoyorozu!" Toru said as she waved to Yaoyorozu.

"Good luck Momo- shit I mean Yaoyorozu." Terra said, catching herself upon accidentally calling Yaoyorozu by her first name.

Yaoyorozu stared at Terra before chuckling. "Thank you Terra, and it's really no worries, you can call me by my first name, I really have no problem with it." Momo said reassuring Terra that she was fine when it came to calling her by your first name

"Mei Hatsume is that support course girl right?" Pony asked as she looked at the jumbotron displaying pictures of the two contestants.

"Yeah she is, she has some pretty amazing tech, it really helped us during the cavalry battle!" Uraraka said praising the support course student.

"Her vs Yaoyoruzu will be an interesting match, both will be relying heavily on the tools they create to help them in this fight, looking forward to seeing how this goes down." Terra said with a look of intrigue.

"Come to think of it, I haven't seen her around since the fighting tournament began." Izuku said as he looked around to see if he spotted her leaving, though he didn't seem to have any luck.

When the lunch break began Mei Hatusume didn't go and eat like her fellow students did, there was no time for that.

Her jetpack had malfunctioned during the cavalry battle, and in her next match she could not afford such things to happen again.

All of her tools would need to be ready and would need to work properly.

Before Mei would have used this as an opportunity to show all the sponsors that would be watching the sports festival what her equipment could do.

But now it was different, ever since Powerloader's death she knew what she wanted, and knew the road to that goal would not be easy.

She had dedicated every waking moment of her time to building better equipment, The equipment she had made before was Minor support equipment, it was pretty impressive what she was able to make, Powerloader called her one of the most talented students he had ever seen since teaching there. The support items she was making were considered remarkable for a first year.

Ever since the USJ attack all the equipment she had been working on was no longer made with the thought of other heroes in mind and what they could do for others.

Her equipment now was made with fighting in mind, more specifically with the sports festival, granted she had prepared for practically every scenario when it came to the sports festival, that ended up coming in handy during the obstacle race and the cavalry battle.

But now it was time for her real babies to be unleashed in these final rounds, the first two were just minor obstacles to her, this is what she had really prepared for.

This was her chance, one of her only chances to get herself into the hero course, and she wasn't going to squander it.

Momo had stood on one side of the battle area opposite of her opponent. She did not know much about her opponent other than that she was a support course student and had worked with Midoryia's team during the cavalry battle, from what she did see the girl was quite eccentric, and definitely had some unique inventions.

So when she looked at her opponents face she had expected to see a similar expression that she had seen during the cavalry battle, however much to her surprise that was not the look she was met with.

The girl was staring at her with a gaze so intense it made Momo squirm a little uncomfortably.

"A fully equipped gadget dynamo! The support course's very own Mei Hatsume!" Present Mic announced as the crowd cheered.

The girl who had pupils shaped like crosshairs glared at the girl with such an intense glare Momo had thought maybe she did something to offend the girl without realizing it.

"Vs! The great creator! She was admitted because of recommendations and I think we can all see why. It's Momo Yaoyorozu from class 1A!" Present Mic said, announcing the second opponent as the people once again cheered.

For Mei Hatsume, she stared at the girl with the intent to run through her, while she really didn't have any personal malice toward the girl she had a goal to reach, and currently the vice representative of class 1A was standing in the way of that goal.

Yaoyarozu quickly began to devise a strategy in her head. 'Ok, I don't have much to go on with this girl, she has gauntlets of some sort which I would assume are for offense, she also has some type of boots on, along with a backpack, it's possible that the backpack is a jetpack and the boots served a similar purpose to one shoes she and Midoryia's team wore during the cavalry battle.'

'If i'm going to win this i'll definitely need something to defend myself, a riot shield could prove effective, then i'll need to quickly create something for offense, if she tries to fly I can-'

"Let the next match begin!" Present Mic yelled out, throwing Yaoyarozu from her concentration.

Mei wasted no time in rushing toward Momo, which caused her to quickly regain her concentration and create a riot shield to protect herself from whatever was to come.

Mei not hesitating struck the shield with her fists, the gauntlets brought so much power to the punch that it sent Momo skidding back, her eyes widening in shock of just how powerful the punch was.

'I could use the special feature I put in the gauntlets and end this now… no, too early, if I were to use it now my future opponents would be able to make strategies to counter it, I need to save that for the right moment.' Mei thought quickly as she used her shoes to jump high in the air before coming back down toward her with her fist reeled back with the intention of striking Momo again, with this one looking to be a more direct hit.

Momo saw her jump and quickly made an electric staff in her hand, she quickly moved to strike Mei while she was regaining her footing following the missed attack.

However something unexpected happened.

When Momo had got within striking range of Mei she felt something wrap around her wrist preventing her from landing the hit.

Momo's eyes went wide as she looked at what had stopped her attack while Mei couldn't help but smirk.

What looked to be a metal tendril was wrapped around her wrist, and it seemed to have been coming from ports on the sides of the metal backpack-like device the girl was wearing.

The end of the tendril was sharp with a shape similar to that of a harpoon or an arrow from what Momo could see.

"Woah would you look at that! This gadget wielding girl is just full of surprises!" Present Mic yelled as the crowd began to get more excited as the cheers became louder.

Momo quickly tried to break free of the tendrils grip but it seemed the tendril only responded to this resistance by tightening around her wrist even more, which began to cause Momo pain.

Momo thinking quickly was about to bash her riot shield with her free hand against the tendril, however as she was about to she could see another tendril coming toward her, quickly she used her shield to block the attack from the second tendril, however to the girls shock the tendril had gone straight through her riot shield like a pencil being stabbed through a piece of paper.

The tendril stopped short of Momo's face before going back, hooking the back end of the shield and yanking it from her grasp with force, it then returned and wrapped around the girl's other wrist forming a grip just as tight as the first wrist that was wrapped around by the tendrils.

The Tendrils then lifted Momo off her feet as Mei was fully back on her feet now and stared at the girl who tried and failed to escape her restraints before speaking. "I'm sorry, but I have a goal to reach, and currently you're in the way."

And with that, Mei had clocked her fist back with the intent to either Knock the girl out or knock her out of bounds, either outcome would work for her. However before she did, Momo had reluctantly shouted.

"I-I forfeit!"

Mei Hatsume stared at the girl somewhat caught off guard by her surrender as she gave a look of surprise before slowly lowering her fist .

"Momo Yaoyarozu has forfeited the match! Mei Hatsume wins!"

"What a match that was! Some might even consider this an upset!" Present Mic said in both shock at the outcome and excitement.

"I've taken the liberty of looking into every contestant of these finals, Mei Hatsume is a support course student with an ocular quirk that allows her to see up to three miles if she concentrates. Though that obviously isn't what makes her special in this case, her main upper hand is the gadgets she's made and it's clear she's giving it her all. The hero course students would do well not to underestimate her in the matches to come." Aizawa said giving his own two cents about the girl.

The tendril's emerging from Mei's backpack dropped Momo, no longer seeing her as a threat before retracting back into the ports on the sides of her backpack.

"I lost… I wasn't able to do anything." Momo said with a dejected look as she looked down.

It was then that she saw Mei offering her hand.

"Nah, you did pretty ok, also has anyone told you that you'd make a good lab partner, because with a quirk like that you would really really make a good lab partner!" Mei said with the same smile and attitude she had during the cavalry battle.

"Uh.. thanks?" Momo said, her words coming out almost like a question.

"No problem!" Mei reassured her. "Hopefully we'll be working together soon! Sorry if I scared you earlier, I just really gotta win this sports festival so I can get into the hero course!"

Momo blinked for a moment as she took all that in before taking the girl's hand allowing herself to be pulled to her feet.

Momo still felt bad about her loss but smiled a little. "I see, well I wish you the best." Momo Sid before turning and walking away as Mei did the same, albeit not quite satisfied. The tendrils had been too slow to react, they allowed her to get too close and that wasn't good.

"Woah that Hatsume girl's got some impressive gear, she was able to subdue Momo and force her into surrendering with just those things coming from backpack, didn't even have to use her gauntlets." Terra said with an intrigued look.

"Looks like Hatsume is really serious about becoming a hero, I can't put my finger on it but she seemed different in that fight against Yaoyarozu." Midoriya muttered to himself out loud. "The gadgets she used for this are certainly powerful, she managed to get Yaoyarozu to forfeit with those metal whip-like things alone, not to mention those boots that allowed her to jump high in the air. I didn't even get to see what those gauntlets she had could do."

Uraraka stared at the arena with an unreadable expression as she watched Momo walk inside, still seeming a bit dejected about the outcome of the battle.

Uraraka then stood up and began to walk out of the stands with the same expression, Izuku was too busy writing in his notebook and mumbling to himself to notice, Terra however did see her leave.

Terra intended to go after her to check what was wrong when the next match was announced.

Pony Tsunatori vs Mina Ashido.

"Oh looks like I'm up next." Pony said, seeming both a bit excited and a bit nervous.

Terra turned toward her, she wanted to check on Uraraka but also wanted to watch Pony's match.

And possibly help her out a bit.

"Alright Pony, listen to me." Terra said, placing her hand on the girl's shoulder. "You have a quirk that is good for long range, Mina has a quirk that's more equipped for mid and short range attacks, your best bet is keeping her away from you, barrage her with your horns and don't let up, and try to knock her out of the fighting area with your horns but no matter what you can't be allowed to let her get close. Got it?"

Pony nods vigorously before smiling. "Yeah I got it. Thank you Terra." Pony said thanking Terra.

"No problem, now hurry you got a match to win." Terra said, urging Pony to make her way to the fight.

Pony quickly made her way out the stands and made her way to the battle Arena where Mina had also headed.

The two were eventually face to face in the battle area where Midnight announced the beginning of the match.

The match went about how Terra expected.

Mina had attempted to close the distance between her and Pony by putting acid on her feet and skidding across the ground to quickly get within range.

However this did not go as Mina planned with Pony barraging the pink girl with her horns and while she managed to avoid a handful they either swung back around and hit her from behind or she just got hit with more.

The fight ended with the horns hooking to Mina's uniform and flying her out of the battle area, rendering her out of bounds and making the winner pony.

Terra was happy to see Pony win, she liked the girl so far and wanted to see her succeed.

Terra then wondered whether or not she should check on Uraraka, while she had stayed to watch the fight she was still worried about Uraraka and wanted to see if she was alright.

Izuku meanwhile hadn't even noticed that Uraraka had left, too busy writing in his notebook and mumbling to himself about the fight he had just watched.

Terra stood up, deciding to go and find Uraraka and check if she was alright.

While Terra had gone off to find Uraraka the next fight had been announced which would see Iida take on Shoji.

Shoji had size over Iida as well as strength to a degree, not to mention multiple arms.

Despite this Iida had one crucial advantage over Shoji.

His speed.

Iida moved at an incredible speed blitzing Shoji faster than he could avoid or manage to block effectively.

It did not take Iida long to blitz Shoji out of the Arena by using the engines in his legs.

While that was going on Terra had managed to find Uraraka in one of the player waiting rooms.

"Hey Uraraka, everything alr- holy shit what's with the look?" Terra asked, caught off guard as Uraraka gave off what Terra could only describe as what was supposed to be a confident smile plagued by nervousness.

"Oh nothing, everything's fine." Uraraka said, trying to reassure Terra which failed miserably due to her expression.

"Uraraka you are good at a lot of stuff, lying however isn't one of them." Terra said before sitting down next to Uraraka as she sighed in defeat.

"Ok so maybe i'm a little nervous." Uraraka said as she played with her thumbs nervously.

"A little is the biggest understatement of the year." Terra replied before chuckling. 'Look I know this isn't easy, having to fight one of your classmates out there with the whole world watching you under a microscope. Not to mention that the few remaining contestants are pretty strong, Bakugo, Todoroki, the shady guy with purple hair from general studies, Sero, Midoryia, and the girl from 1B with vines for hair."

"Yeah, I'm pretty scared, but seeing you, seeing Hatsume, seeing everyone give it their all makes me feel a bit better, it gives me confidence, if they were able to do it then I can too!" Uraraka said, her voice growing with determination.

It was then that another person stepped into the room.

"Oh sup Iida." Terra greeted. "How did your match go?"

"It went well, I managed to defeat my opponent swiftly and efficiently." Iida replied sternly.

"Oh that's great Iida, I'm happy you won your match." Uraraka congratulated.

It was then that Iida noticed something. "Wait, what are you two doing down here?" Iida asked, noticing that the two girls weren't in the stands anymore.

"Oh uhh, I was just feeling a bit nervous about my upcoming fight and Terra came to check on me is all." Uraraka explained

"Ah I see, well your nervousness isn't unwarranted given the remaining contestants are quite talented." Iida remarked.

"Well you know what, i'm sure no matter who Uraraka goes up against you'll come out on top." Terra said in an attempt to reassure Uraraka.

"It appears they are about to announce the next match." Iida said as he looked at a tv that was in the room.

The others turned to look as the next fight was announced.

"Oh shit.." Terra murmured

Uraraka stared at the picture and gulped while Iida remained silent though he was sure he could see Uraraka's complexion turn a bit pale.

Ochaco Uraraka vs Katsuki bakugo.

"Oh man..uhh well you know what I think you still got this

"So Bakugo is my opponent…" Uraraka said as she processed the information.

"It'll be ok, I don't think Bakugo would use the full power of his explosions on a girl." Iida said in an attempt to reassure Uraraka.

"He most definitely would."

All three of them turn to the entrance only to see Midoriya standing there.

"Oh hey Midoriya." Terra greeted. "I'm guessing you heard at least most of that conversation."

Midoriya nodded. "I did, and I have a way to help. You've helped me so much and now its my turn to help you, it isn't much but I can repay you a little bit with this." Midoriya said before pulling out his chard notebook and offering it to her.

"I've got a plan for how you can use your quirk against Kacchan." Midoriya declared

"Oh man, that's great Midoryia! I knew that analytical brain of yours would come in handy one of these days!" Terra said as she smiled.

"O-oh it isn't much but I did my best." Izuku said nervously, slightly blushing at the fact he was being praised by a girl.

"Well hey this is perfect! If you go over the notes quickly it'll get you a strategic advantage over Bakugo." Iida said as he too smiled.

Uraraka looked at all three of them and smiled with gratitude. "Thank you, all of you, it means so much coming from the three of you. But no."

This seemed to shock the three of them as they stared at her in stunned silence and disbelief while Uraraka continued.

"Your wonderful Deku, I keep seeing that. During the cavalry battle I told you that it was good to team up with friends, but when I thought about it I realized I was trying to rely on you to get by. When Iida told us he was trying his best to beat you I felt embarrassed for myself." Uraraka explained before putting on a smile.

"So it's fine, everyone is facing their future and giving it their best, that makes us all rivals, so…" Uraraka paused before giving a thumbs up and a somewhat shaky yet confident smile. "Guess I'll see you in the finals, Deku."

Uraraka then walked out the room in order to go and face her opponent.

Terra smiled, happy that Uraraka had found some confidence in herself, in a way Uraraka reminded Terra of Starfire with her attitude and demeanor.

Both Uraraka and Bakugo began to make their way to the battle area as everyone watched.

"Oh man, I don't know if I'll be able to watch this." Toru said nervously

"Ribbit, this might be the most disturbing matchup yet." Tsuyu said in her usual monotone voice but it was clear she was concerned for Uraraka.

"I know, I almost don't want to watch this." Jirou said as she rubbed both her arms with a look of concern and discomfort on her face.

Terra, who was now sitting in the stands with Izuku and Iida, then spoke. "Hey, have some faith in Uraraka, I know that no matter what happens she'll put up a hell of a fight."

It was true, from what she had known about Bakugo from her short time knowing him she knew that he was short tempered, egotistical, relatively stubborn, and most certainly an asshole, but with that attitude came a powerful quirk to back it up, she had seen and practically been on the receiving end of it during the obstacle race.

She also saw him when she and him both unintentionally ran into each other while listening in on Todoroki and Midoriya's conversation, she had seen a different side of him in that moment, a side that few had truly seen of him.

It could have by all means been considered a weakness, especially to Bakugo, but to Terra it said more about him then she knew he'd ever let on.

Terra had also taken the time to praise Pony upon her return citing how good she was able to defeat Mina while keeping a distance.

As Present Mic announced the two contestants both Uraraka and Bakugo stare each other down with Bakugo baring his usual scowl while Uraraka wore a determined expression

While they waited for the match to begin Iida took the chance to ask Midoriya something that had been on his mind.

"Midoriya." Iida said, getting his attention as his head popped up from his notebook. "I'm curious, what was that strategy you came up with that would give Uraraka an advantage against Bakugo?"

"Yeah, I was wondering that too." Terra added now looking at Midoriya with curiosity

"Oh it wasn't much, barely much of a plan at all, I mean it's just that Kacchan is so strong, he's very good when it comes to close combat, rarely leaves any openings, and the more he moves the more he sweats which makes him stronger, not to mention he's very mobile with his quirk, being able to move through the air with it."

Terra had to agree with that, if what she read about Bakugo's quirk and seeing him in action was anything to go by, he would most definitely grow in strength during a battle as it dragged on.

"However, if Uraraka were to touch Bakugo she could use her quirk to float him out of bounds, so it's obvious what Uraraka has to do to get the upper hand." Midoriya added.

"Definitely, though getting close to him might not be easy, but I believe Uraraka can do it." Terra said, giving both Iida and Midoriya a reassuring smile.

The fight started and as it did it seemed normal at first, apart from getting hit by Bakugo's blast one time Uraraka to the surprise of many managed to pull a fast one on him the second time around, using her jacket as a decoy to distract Bakugo though it ended up being in vein as Bakugo caught onto her trick and blowing her away with his explosions.

It seemed it was only downhill from here for Uraraka as Terra and the others watched helplessly as Bakugo viciously countered any attempt, she made at getting close to him, making chunks of debris from his explosions and launching them toward Uraraka with his explosions.

"Looks like she's not resting between attacks despite being exploded, the poor girl." Present Mic commented as the fight dragged on.

The fight continued as Uraraka continued to make attempts to attack Bakugo only to be blown back with explosions and having more debris launched her way.

Terra squinted her eyes as she looked closely at the fight, specifically Uraraka.

At this point the crowd begins to get rowdy and displeased at the display they were all bearing witness two as one hero spoke up.

"This is shameful! This isn't the actions of a hero; it's the actions of a bully! Stop toying with the girl and send her out of bounds!"

As the crowd began to boo, Present Mic commented. "The crowd is now booing Bakugo, and honestly I can't blame the-" Present Mic said before being cut off by an elbow from Aizawa.

"Hey, what the crap!" Present Mic shouted only to be ignored by Aizawa.

"Who is the man that started this uproar? Are you a pro? Because if so, you should go home and hang up your cape, because clearly this isn't the career for you." Aizawa said.

Izuku, Terra, and Iida all stared up to where the announcers were sitting.

"Uhh what does Mr Aizawa mean?" Izuku asked as he was a bit confused about the current situation.

"Bakugo's fierceness is an acknowledgment of his opponent's strength, he knows she fought like hell to get this far which is why he will do whatever it takes to keep her at bay and come out the victor." Aizawa added.

Terra felt that Bakugo was over doing it, he could have knocked her out of bounds and won long ago but opted to keep going the way he was, he could have and should have ended the fight quickly and efficiently. Not playing with your food is one of the many things Slade drilled into her, it wasted time and had the risk of the enemy using the time they had been given to gain the upper hand in battle.

Though she was happy that despite all that Uraraka was still standing, Terra smiled to herself as it finally clicked in her head as to what Uraraka planned to do.

It was then that everyone looked up to see all the chunks of debris floating above the battle area.

"Holy shit." Terra muttered. She was shocked that she didn't see or even feel the rocks floating in the air sooner.

Uraraka then released the debris allowing it all to fall down on the battle area, with this she hoped it would give her an opportunity to get close enough to touch Bakugo.

"Woah! Uraraka had a plan all along!" Midoriya exclaimed.

Terra merely smirked. "I told you guys she had it."

"A well thought out strategy by Uraraka." Iida said doing a chopping motion with his hands

Uraraka made a dash toward Bakugo as the Debris came falling down onto the battle area, she had managed to reach her arm out and had been mere inches from touching him when something unexpected came about.

Bakugo lifted his hand into the air before letting off a powerful explosion that not only eviscerated the debris coming down toward him but caused Uraraka to be blown away by the blast as she rolled for a bit before coming to a stop.

Terra's smirk immediately vanished and was replaced by a look of worry as she watched as Bakugo said something that she was unable to hear from the stands while Uraraka made an attempt to get back up.

Bakugo then began to run at Uraraka with her getting ready to charge toward him only for her body to stop and give out as she fell to the food whilst Bakugo stopped and looked down on her.

While Uaraka herself wanted to get up and keep fighting, her body simply wouldn't let her.

Terra had seen this before, many times in fact, her training with Slade often left her in similar states to Uraraka.

It was then that Midnight walked over to Uraraka and kneeled down to determine whether or not she was capable of fighting or not.

After examining the girl for a moment Midnight stood up and declared. "Uraraka is K.O'D, Bakugo wins!"

While the crowd reacted with a mix of cheers Terra just looked on, disappointed that despite her friends best efforts she was unable to persevere and it seemed her friends shared the same sentiment.

"Oh man, poor Uraraka.." Pony said as she and everyone else watched Uraraka get taken away on a stretcher.

"It is indeed a tragedy, though she put her best foot forward and gave it her all, that is what counts most." Iida said.

"Maybe I should go check on her." Midoriya says as he begins to stand up

"Let's try to forget that depressing outcome with this next match!" Present Mic said as the next two fighters appeared on screen.

Izuku Midoriya vs Hitoshi Shinso.

"Or not.." Izuku said as he looked at the jumbotron with his and his opponents' photos displayed on it.

"Hey." Terra said before putting a hand on Midoriya's shoulder causing him to look at her. "I'll go check on Uraraka during your match, I know you got this Midoriya."

Midoriya looked at her before nodding and giving her a small smile. "Thank you Terra."

Terra smiles back and nods as she goes off to find Uraraka while Midoriya briefly stays behind to talk to Ojiro about his opponent's quirk before walking off for his match.

Terra was on her way to find Uraraka when she came across someone she hadn't expected to see.

"What the hell are you doing here Goldilocks?" Bakugo growled out in annoyance at seeing the girl.

"Going to check on Uraraka." Terra remarked, giving Bakugo a sideways glance before she continued walking.

"Tch, I know Deku was behind that stupid desperate plan of hers, and you were in on it too weren't you goldilocks." Bakugo said, making Terra stop walking and turn around to look at him with a look of genuine confusion.

"What the hell are you talking about? Midoriya and I didn't do anything to help her, everything she did she did on her own and came up with herself, hell Midoriya actually offered to give her a strategy to take you down and she refused. So if Uraraka wasn't the push over you expected her to be then know that she didn't get help from anyone else, she accomplished that all on her own." Terra said, now glaring at Bakugo who glared back with a scowl on his face.

"And that leads me to something else that's been bugging me, what is it between you and Midoriya anyway? I haven't been here very long but I see the way you two interact with each other and you clearly don't see him as a friend, yet you were interested in his conversation between Him and Todoroki. Why?" Terra asked.

"I could ask the same damn thing to you! Why were you listening in on that conversation? You and the damn nerd have barely known each other yet you're snooping in on his conversations." Bakugo said with his glare changing from a less aggravated one to one that showed he was trying to read her intentions.

"Ugh! Midoriya is my friend you idiot, I was worried about him and wanted to see if everything is alright! You, on the other hand, still haven't answered my question." Terra explained.

"Tch, I don't have to explain anything to some stupid foreigner who just got here, you don't know anything." Bakugo spat out venomously before turning to walk away.

"Fine, I'll just ask Midoriya myself then." Terra retorted glaring at Bakugo who didn't reply but seemed to grumble under his breath as he walked away.

Though Terra definitely had her mind made up about Bakugo now.

He was most certainly a total dick.

Terra had made it to where she believed Uraraka was, she was about to open the door when she heard what sounded like Uraraka talking to somebody else.

"It wasn't that close nor was I all that good." Terra overheard Uraraka say quickly deducing she was on the phone with her parents most likely.

"I should have had a backup plan in case my big plan didn't work out.. I failed daddy."

Terra kept listening in making sure not to make a sound as there was a pause as Terra believed it was Uraraka's father responding to what she said before Uraraka spoke again.

"I know but I just wish I had gotten further in the festival to show what I could do, especially after the USJ attack. I know you and mom were very worried and I wanted to show how much I had improved since then and that I was still capable of being a hero."

There was another pause before Uraraka spoke again.

"It's just.. I wanna be able to help you guys out as soon as I can." Uraraka said as her voice began to crack toward the end as Uraraka began to sob.

Terra would be lying if she said she didn't feel bad for Uraraka, with that being said she knew the mission came first, given what she told Rose who most certainly relayed it to the shadows, her phone calls were likely being monitored anyway.

For now she opted to leave Uraraka be and check on her later as she made her way back to the stands.

Meanwhile the Match Between Midoriya and Shinso had come in gone, with Shinso being successful in gaining control of Midoriya through provoking him in order to get him to speak only for him to snap out of it at the last second using one for all through his fingers to cause a powerful gust of wind, as he was seemingly about to back himself out of bounds.

The second time around Izuku was sure not to fall for Shinso's attempts to provoke him in a fight, in desperation Shinso brought up the USJ attack and Midoriya had almost slipped up again but managed to keep himself together.

Izuku did not use one for all this time as the two had a small skirmish trying to push eachother out of bounds which ended with Midoriya taking him by the arm and slamming him on his back and out of bounds which made him the winner of his match.

Terra was happy to see Midoriya win his match, Especially against that purple haired guy, though he did seem to have an interesting quirk.

As Midoriya went to Recovery Girl to get his now broken fingers patched he was in deep thought on the nature of how he had broken free from Shinso's mind control and what he had seen and felt in that moment.

The next fight soon followed with it being Ibara Shiozaki vs Yuga Aoyama. Unfortunately while his lasers were able to blast through Shiozaki's vines, the large vine wall she then created made it hard to hit her, and by the time he had an idea of where she was the vines had erupted from the ground and snagged him up.

Shiozaki was then declared the winner and would advance into the next round.

At this point there was only one fight left and everyone knew who would be up against who for the final match with every head in the stands turning toward Sero.

"Oh man.. I mean I guess it could be worse right, I could've gotten Bakugo.." Sero said which earned a scowl and a shout from the angry blonde.

By now Uraraka and Midoriya had both returned to the stands along with just about everyone else now as they anticipated the final fight.

Midoriya took on a more serious look as he thought back to what he and Todoroki talked about.

"Ribbit, I guess that's one way of looking at it." Tsuyu commented

"Well good luck out there." Kaminari said having returned from his stint with Recovery Girl.

Terra had noticed that Todorokii hadn't been present on the stands with his classmates during the matches, she also took note of the expression Midoriya wore, she hadn't forgotten to ask him why Bakugo seemed to dislike him so much in particular but would save those questions for after the festival.

"Well guys, wish me luck." Sero said before he went off to the battle area.

"Well this should be interesting." Uraraka said, which snapped Midoriya out of his thoughts.

"Oh Uraraka! You look better!" Midoriya complemented, noting how much she had healed since her fight.

"Yeah! Recovery Girl did a pretty good job of healing me up." Uraraka replied before smiling.

"Uraraka you killed it out there! That strategy was amazing!" Terra said praisingly.

"Yeah but it didn't work out in the end." Uraraka said, giving a sad smile as she looked down.

"Don't be like that Uraraka, we all watched you give it everything you had, you've got skills and a hell of a lot of guts too." Terra complemented.

"Terra is right Uraraka, you had a sound strategy and put your best foot forward." Iida chimed in.

"Don't beat yourself up about it Uraraka, you were amazing out there." Midoriya added

Uraraka seemed to blush a little before her smile grew into a more appreciative one. "Thanks guys, I really appreciate your kind words."

"It's no problem, that's what friends are for after all right?" Terra asked with a smile

Uraraka nodded her head, her smile growing even larger. "Right!"

Todoroki and Sero were face to face as the match was set to begin.

Sero would be lying to himself if he said he wasn't a little nervous at the moment.

'Come on Sero, it's only Todoroki, he's strong sure but I'm sure he won't use Bakugo level force. What's the worst that could happen?' Sero thought to himself not knowing that the Irony of that last part was about to hit him for what he did not know was shortly before this fight Todoroki had a not so pleasant interaction with his father which had him in a bad mood.

It was then that the fight had begun and Sero wasted no time in throwing his arms out and letting the tape from his elbows expand and wrap around Todoroki as he moved to quickly swing Todoroki out of bounds.

Todoroki had mumbled something that Sero didn't hear before something surprising happened which left the entire arena stunned.

Within an instant a large glacier was covering over half the battle area and even beyond that as it was so large that it peered out of the Arena, with the glacier having barely missed the stands but being close enough that some people could even touch it if they tried hard enough.

Terra, like everyone else, was in total disbelief at what she had just seen, she had seen many people with ice powers before and wasn't sure if any of them could do what Todoroki just did.

It was clear that Todoroki won the fight based on that show of strength alone, it also certainly made him a favorite to win the sports festival.

But then a stray thought crossed Terra's mind.

'How the fuck are they gonna melt this?!'

AN: FINALLY, IT'S DONE! AFTER A LITTLE OVER THREE MONTHS, I FINALLY GOT THIS OUT!

Honestly, part of the reason this took so long is because I had gotten busy, my mom got sick and I had to prepare to move, which is actually happening tomorrow, so I got this out just in time.

I know I made you guys wait out for a rather boring chapter but I do have a few things I want to talk about including an announcement.

First I just gotta say that the Penguin was ABSOLUTE CINEMA! From beginning to end! I mean I didn't dislike a single episode or even think of a single episode of mediocre and I've seen bad or mediocre episodes from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul! Every character had a purpose, every character was interesting in their own way and for once they did something a lot of villain centric shows and movies rarely do, they made their villain an actual villain and not a anti hero and they demonstrate this very well in the final episode, though I won't spoil anything for those who haven't seen it, all I have to say is let Matt Reeves cook!

Second, this fic will again see renovations, for one I will be renaming the fic as I have a much better Idea of what I want to do with this story and where I want it to go, and I won't go into full detail of my plans yet but just know things are about to get good. I will do some minor rewrites and make adjustments to most if not all of the chapters. but man, you guys are gonna love this fic so much you'll get tired of loving it it's gonna be that good. I intend to show more than just the sports festival next chapter, I also hope to finally finish the sports festival next chapter because honestly I was never the biggest fan of the sports festival arc, however I decided to give the students some breather room with this because after the sports festival arc it's nowhere but down from here for the students after this like when I tell you shit is going to get dark I mean shit is going to get DARK. It's gonna be good and you're gonna love it especially with my new plans but it's also gonna get DARK!

Now I think I've said what I had to, onto reviews!

Monster King: thank you!

jfsilva101305:Mei becoming a hero was honestly a last minute decision on my part, though yet again so was Terra, I seem to enjoy my last minute decisions very well and it seems you guys like them as well and as for that other part you'll love my approaches to both of those, especially the later which is coming pretty soon.

Myzor king of war:thanks for the review, I won't spoil too much on what villains i'm bringing in but i can tell you a lot of heavy hitters will show up, some sooner than others, and yes the Brain is definitely keeping an eye on the students, the thing about the MHA world is they aren't used to people who can plan like this, they aren't used to serious criminals and criminal organizations, they are used to small villain of the week threats with an occasional villain who is slightly more powerful than average, AFO is one of the only villains who could be considered on par with the light. As for the last part, feel free to DM me and I'll gladly help you out.

Maximum rhapsody: Yeah, I decided to let the students have this as a breather period and Mei and Shinso will definitely play big roles as well as class 1B. As for ships, yes there will be ships for certain, though some will take time since some characters I have in mind are yet to appear.

Sly22red: I won't give away too much but I can tell you that the DC heroes will show up in this story. I'm still working out the nature of this verse as this version is really me just throwing several iterations of DC into one. As for the LoD debut I have some ideas in mind but haven't landed on anything concrete just yet but some members of the LoD will definitely appear sooner than others.

Zangeneh825: I'm glad you like the story, and for your second part it's definitely possible but won't come right away, we wouldn't want the heroes to come into the MHA verse too early and have Terra's cover be blown, but trust me I have plans for the DC heroes and they will action, especially against MHA villains.

Halo-Guy Fan:Man you've become my favorite reviewer and yes i'm playing favorites, as for Prometheus I'm actually just learning about him for the first time and I gotta say man this guys crazy, will likely show up in the fic sometime in the future but he has no ties with Brother Blood, for your other Ideas they are extremely great, and I intend to use a lot of them in some way shape or form, you absolutely cooked here.

Moh764: yes the DC heroes are going to appear in the fic, Darksied will definitely have a bigger role in the future, Starro however I am not quite sure, technically Vandal Savage killed him if we are going by YJ lore but this verse is a mix of several and has very different history than the original YJ so it's possible though I have no intention of bringing him in as of right now.

Mr Prime: It's possible, In time you'll see.

Toasthatisordinary:when I first read this I wasn't sure if i'd use a character like him for this since I already have ideas for the Meta-Liberation army, however after getting a new idea I will most likely be bringing him in though in a different way than your thinking.

Marvelesque1Der:Red X is a special case and his character will be explained more as the fic goes on because I have plans for him and the HIVE that you guys are going to love.

Guest:I'm glad you liked the fic so far and I hope you stick around.

LegendaryMob:I actually agree to an extent, there are not a lot of DC villains at least in the LoD and other groups in the fic who could beat Star N Stripes directly, but I do have someone in particular in mind who I won't name who could give her a run for her money. Humarise I actually have plans for but the LoD is currently trying to recruit lowly thugs that's who their target audience is in this case, the Light want as many Meta's as possible and that is the whole reason they are here and america is covered top to bottom with lowly thugs. The Teen Titans villains while cartoony in some regard are actually pretty powerful when you take their feats into consideration, especially members of the Hive Five, also the whole point of this first attack was to show not only how much stronger the DC villains are than the heroes currently but how strong they are compared to the villains currently, Mammoth alone who mind you for scaling his powers I used his YJ counterpart and just threw his Teen Titans design on him, he's someone who could be on par with abomination from Marvel and its why he in particular carried the fight against All Might and the Nomu. and the Hive being who they are will be smug about their victory, they've been smug for far less.

Rasb:maybe I will, maybe I won't. In time you'll see.

Guest:nope, as long as i'm breathing and have a computer this story will never be abandoned.

Fake Dr Monty:it's here.

HumariseFan:I have big plans for Humarise, I'll just leave it at that for now.

Zangeneh825:November 21st 2024.
