(Day time) in the air
Our adventures are flying over rocky terrain in the kins pouch while cal is flying in his creature form the sun is shining while they are flying. Barda said "I know I wasn't going to complain, but could you slow down a bit" cal enjoying the flying said "barda they told you last night before you won't fall remember".
Lief said "you all sure seem to have a lot of energy did you have a good night sleep" ailsa said "we drank stream water last night for the first time in years I slept without the special dreams the spring gives". Bruna said "me too and i tell ya this morning i feel ten years younger" lief said "really every night at the dream spring you drank sone of it before you slept two nights of that was about as mich as i could handle".
Barda said "exactly it was an interesting experience but i don't think i want to repeat it every night" jasmine said "you must be excited to see your mountain again in real life not just in some dream". Bruna said "yes can you feel the butterflies in my stomach" merin said "last night i woke up and i thought i felt other kin nearby but of course i couldn't hear or see them and it went away". Barda said "didn't you expect as much im sure elder crenn planned to check up on us to make sure we were alright".
Merin said "but what makes me concerned is that felt as if they were desperately trying to tell us something" lief said "do you think that's something bad happened?". Ailsa said "we can't turn around lets get these four to the mountain quickly so we can get right back to the spring come on lets move it". While they were flying fast along with cal he said "she's right we're already almost close to our destination and we're not giving up now".
Showing up to view is there a destination location dread mountain how should I describe this mountain instead of snowy eclipse It's just a big point of triangle spikes poking upward from top to bottom. On the ground of the mountain more rocky spikes and on a ground path mudlets charging with the carn squad on there backs the leader looked his left, said "kadabra" and his mudlet stopped followed by the others.
They looked and saw our group flying with the kin women he said "hm how very clever of you" next scene we see the kin flying you can see a pink patch of hair at the end of brunas tail. Lief said "so this is it dread Mountain" merin said "look girls were finally home isn't this exciting" bruna said "oh i cant tell you how many times I've imagined this moment". Ailsa said "you two can reminisce later we're in range now, girls we need to start making it hard for any gnomes down there to fire at us" bruna said "don't worry I've handled them before".
Cal senses went of like a fire alarm said "well now we'll have to handle them now here comes their arrows right in front of us" gnomes had started to fire arrows at them. Jasmine said "they've started firing" while gnomes fired arrows and they dodged them ailsa said "all right hold on tight" more arrows shot tgey dodged all of them. They kept zigging and zagging barda said "so you think these are all poison arrows" merin said "exactly" cal replied "definitely poisoned, tipped arrows".
Ailsa said "merin,bruna we should land now" looked down at the forest "over there where the boolong trees are thickest" and they all dived down including cal. Getting a good look at the forest large spikes rock that are the kids of the mountain and the forest of boolong trees all four of the flyers landed safely. Huge dirt cloud was moving on the ground as a sign that they had landed roughly the boolong trees looked like purple spiked vines ailsa said "is everyone alright" merin said "yes" lief along with the other got out of the pouches said "were all fine thank you".
Cal said "indeed" then a bright light of twilight surrounded Cal and he turned back to his human side "thank you for helping me get my allies here, baggy and hatter you two can come out now". Then his belt, shined, light of silver and gold. Two orbs of that color popped out, landed on his head and back and transformed back into baggy hatter and our group moved three steps stopped and looked at their surroundings.
Jasmine said "so that's what a boolong tree looks like" cal said "yeah looks like vines from a thorn bush" barda said "I don't think I've ever seen thorns this big before". Merin walked to a tree said "yes but its thanks to these thorns that were safe from the gnomes for some reason they dont like them" while she was taking a thorn off a tree.
Bruna said "the boolongs grow thick here there aren't many gaps between the trees I don't think they'll even bother trying to find us". Lief said "true but that makes it hard to move around to" ailsa said "thers a river just below here that we can take you too you'll find it easier to travel along its banks" bruna said "perfect it'll probably be easier for us to takeoff there too".
Our group is walking on a path through the boolong forest with ailsa,bruna and merin walking infront of them pushing the thorns off and out of tge way. Lief said "don't the thorns bother you?" Merin said "no our skin is very tough, even when we played in them as children we never got hurt".
Barda said "how can these things survive growing so close together is dread mountain completely covered in boolong trees like this". Ailsa while plucking a thorny spike said "it's quite different from when we lived here there weren't nearly as many trees then, there were also many paths winding through the forest". Bruna pulled of thorny spike whike said "we kin used to keep the boolong trees from overgrowing by eating there cones but we haven't been around for a while".
Lief said "hey jasmine can you hear what the trees are saying" jasmine said "no I can't there all silent its like there so afraid they shut them selves of from the rest of the world". Cal said "i've heard of keeping to self but you can't do it that long why would the gnomes do this" ailsa gasped said "look at that" jasmine said "what is it". They all got in front of the lady kin and saw there path is completely covered in boolong tree collapsed lief said "how did this happen?" Jasmine said "I thought you said they don't come down here".
Ailsa said "no I don't think the gnomes did this they couldn't have lifted those trees" barda said "definitely not a good sign" cal said "trouble is coming our way". Barda said "our task was difficult enough but this means there are others in this mountain that will have to keep an eye out for" then suddenly the clouds roared thunder a storm was brewing. Somewhere on the mountain a lizard creature sturred it was blue with green scales on top looked into a direction with its snout opened its mouth roared inside its mouth an oval blue eye with yellow pupils.
(Time unknown) clearing near foot of mountain
Our group sat on the ground next to the water stream jasmine said "looks like there's a storm coming in" barda said "well on the bright side at least we're not sleeping in the boolong thorns". Barda continued "but if it rains hard it might not be safe so close to the river" merin said "if you follow this path you'll end up in a rocky area where there are a lot of caves you'll be out of the storm there".
They all looked where the water stream lead to the rocky area of caves lief said "thanks all right we should get going" while he started to stand up. The other members of the group got up and walked on the path merin said "i'd like to show you the way" and they stopped and all looked at her ailsa said "merin we can't we've gotta leave before the storm arrives". Bruna looked to her right said "you know what will happen if the gnomes find us here we really shouldn't risk stay any longer" while she turned her head forward.
Merin said "but don't you see it wouldn't be right for us to leave them like this they know too little of the mountain and it's dangers it would be cold hearted for us to go right now". Ailsa said "but what about crenn and the others we made a promise that we would return as fast as we can and I intend on keeping our word" merin said "this is our mountain its our home for us to love and protect". Merin looked to her left continued "now that im here, I realize that we should of come back long ago we really ought to be liveing here we can tell the others to join us when they see is in our dreams the gnomes can't touch us in the bush cause the boolong trees protect us".
Ailsa said "merin we were lucky that the three of us landed safely but do you really want all of our friends to take that risk to honestly how many would make it through those arrows". Bruna said "and even if only half of our tribe survived the number of boolong trees would be reduced in a few years and the paths wpuld reopen then the gnomes would come back and we would have to flee our mountain for a second time". Merin said "but" barda said "i'd really hate to interrupt your discussion" this caught ladies attention "i just wanted to say you've done more then we could've hoped for and we can't thank you enough please don't stay and put yourselfs in further danger on our behalf".
Ailsa said "there's really no need for you to thank us even if it was only for a short period of time it's been a great joy for us to be back on our mountain". Bruna reached in her pouch said "and all our friends are gonna be so happy we show them what we brought back" she pulled out five brown seeds big as apples. Ailsa said "come on it's time to leave merin" merin said "i know your right" next scene the three kin are on the edge of waterfall cliff getting ready to fly.
Lief said "please make it back to the other safely" jasmine said "and thank everyone else for us to" ailsa turned slightly said "you four take care of yourselves ok". Bruna said "I hope one day we'll meet again" merin said "until then we'll visit you in our dreams" cal said "thank you friends now please hurry and fly away". They turned to face the edge and took of flying first ailsa then merin followed by bruna lief waved shouted "goodbye merin,bruna and ailsa take care".
Our group saw the three kin women fly away but so did carn squad they looked to their right and saw the waterfall cliff where our group of adventures are. Carn squad leader said "so that's where they are" next we see our group standing barda said "well we better get going too before that storm comes in first thing we need to do is find a safe place to sleep tonight". Barda started walking of but stopped looked so did the others lier said "I think someone's coming" fili was scared hidden Jasmine's hair Cal said "I don't think I sense someone's coming".
Jasmine said "it might be gnomes hide" and they all ran to a boulder and hide by crouching down just as the carn squad showed up leader said "they should be around here somewhere go and find them now". The others said "yes sir" and scattered barda whispered "these gray guards look different" jasmine whispered "are you sure there gray guards" lief said "I think they are but they must be some sort of special pod or something".
Cal said "yeah and my instincts are telling me to let loose my fighting skills on these guys" barda said "who ever they are if they attack us we have no way to escape look we'll have to stay put". Cal said "well I could get out of here, but I don't wanna leave you guys" then Lief noticed something in the distance something was flying twoards them is a kin. Lief said "why is one of them coming back" barda said "that's not good can you see if its merin or not" jasmine said "uh oh guys I think it's prin" lief said "it can't be" cal said "this will not end well".
The kin is reviled to be prin flying twoards them and saw them hiding she said "hey lief,jasmine,barda,cal" then arrows started firing at her the gnome spotted her. Prin was scared but she dodged the arrows lief said "whats she doing" barda shouted "prin don't come here fly away" as she flew closer she dodged the arrows.
The carn squad leader saw her prin kept dodging the arrowd but one scratched her right wing and she went flying down in part of the boolong forest. Lief said "oh no prin" carn squad leader said "you two go find that kin" pointed his right hand and they headed in that direction. Jasmine said "well we can't just leave her there" cal said "agreed" barda said "you two are right let's draw their attention" and they jumped from behind the boulder.
Lief shouted "hey are you guys looking for us!?" Barda shouted "well what are you waiting for" cal shouted "come get some". Carn leader said "hmm they say you four are courageous but now I see you're just foolish" kree then flew to jasmine cawing she understood him. Carn leader said "perhaps you are under the impression that we're just another pod of gray guards if so you are mistaken attack" the others unsheathed their duo swords and charged.
The carn squads swords are black on the hilt and the blade ends are red yet slightly pink the guys drew there swords and fought half of them. Cal turned his left dial on his belt saying "for the doom of terror nightlight is mine to command" and he changed into his silver armor and attacked the carn guards got half weak as the sword absorbed their strength. When the bashed the shield the right eye glowed this continued with the left eye glowing then the middle eye with the final slash from their swords, putting the shield blasted a skull shaped blast back at them.
As soon as a carn guard tried to slash him down the middle with two sword a compartment on his back opened and a red whipped popped out grabbed a rock and pulled him that way dodging the attack. Lief protected barda from a sneek attack "thanks for that lief" barda said Lief shouted "go check on prin we've got this covered".
Jasmine said nodded in agreement and headed twoards her she jumped across the river with a large stone and into the forest, followed by kree. The three carn squad charged but barda got in front of them "you'll have to get past me first" barda said
Cut to jasmine she is running throught the boolong forest with fili on her shoulder as she ran through the forest, she shouted "hey prin where are you prin". Back to the guys carn squad was fighting them cal seem to be enjoying thid fight well never has he met a pod of guards that could match his skills but all three guy had their backs facing each other.
Lief said "this won't be easy" barda said "yeah the other gray guards we've been up against haven't compared to this bunch". Carn leader said "of course we don't we are the elite carn squad summoned solely by our master the Shadow lord" points sword forward "we will chase our pray to the corners of the world we will even chase you into your nightmares".
Carn squad leader charged at them clashed his swords with liefs sword and pushed lief down on his back. Barda said "get up" cal replied "the fight has only just begun lief.
(Through boolong forest)
Meanwhile jasmine was running through the forest searching for prin and she stopped. Looking through a clearing she had saw prin laying on the ground on her left side "Prin" jasmine shouted as she ran to her.
Jasmine kneeled down shook prin while saying "wake up prin" a moment of silence happened then jasmine said "you just hang in there i've got something that'll make you feel better". Jasmine dug through her bag pulled out what she was looking for which is the jar that contain the last drop of the lilies of life.
Jasmine then uncorked the small jar and pour the last drop of the lilies of life on prins wound. Jasmine said "that's the last of it if it's not enough then there's nothing more I can do come on Prin you gotta do the rest yourself".
(Back to battle)
Lief and cal was surrounded by four carn soilders barda shouted "lief,cal" he tried to move but a few more carn squad blocked him. One carn charged at lief and he charged back but that caused him to lose his sword I flew right into the river, her blade in.
Then the carn leader pointed his curvy end blade at lief said "looks like this is the end for you two" as he charged cal got in his way with gus sword saying "we're not down yet". Suddenly everyone heard and felt a shaking on looked up on top of the bushes of the rock the guys back is faceing that same lizard creature popped up.
Then the lizard creature roared "its a vraal" carn leader shouted and the creature known as a vraal jumped up. Lief and cal ran in opposite directions because the vraal is landing where they stood. We get a good look at the vraal it is three meters bigger then the carn squad bodie blue with green hair going down from head to its really long tail. Has yellow stipes around the legs thigh and ankle above three toed feets on its right arm a yellow stripe but on left arm looks like covered in a purple armored sleeve.
The vraal then it tried to get the leader but dodged so the vraal hit him with its tail which pushed back the leader hard had to stop himself with his two swords digging in ground. Other carn squad members tried to get the vraal but did not succeed so the creature grabbed a large boulder from behind lifted boulder up and threw it at the carn squad that dodged it just in time.
Barda said "what on earth was that?" Leader looked behind said "its a vraal that escaped the shadow Arena their bread with a single purpose to fight and destroy their enemies". During that time the vraal picked up boulder again while leader said "once it decides yard it's foe there's no stopping it" and vraal launched boulder and they dodged again.
Cal said "radical I must get a blood sample and fight it, release" and Cals silver armor disappeared into his belt he then turned his right dial, said "for the glory of great daylight is mine to command". Then he changed into his gold armor he aimed his left arm at the vraal and launched a blade vile as soon as it pierced the reptile creature skin on the chest it drew out red blood.
Then cal use his telekinesis to pull the vile out hold of the vraal creature brought it back to him. He grabbed it said "ala blade vile with blood sample". Baggy then shoot out a rainbow tentacle grab the vile and put it inside her meanwhile lief ran picked up his sword from the river. Barda and cal showed up next to him barda said "are you alright lief" he nodded cal said "good cause we need to book it now look" they saw the vraal threw a boulder at them and they ran.
The boulder hit the river and the carn squad were still fighting the vraal carn leader said "fallback our mission has nothing to do with the vraal we'll retreat and let the beast finish off its prey". Leader looked at our guy continued "and now you three will see what its like to be its enemy" and the carn squad ran away into the forest leaving our group to fight the vraal.
Vraal placed its focus on the guys he fought lief with claws,for barda tail and with Cal, he got both kree is seen flying around in circles.
Jasmine (pov)
While the commotions of the vraal fight were heard jasmine is still by prins side waiting for her to recover she heard the commotion said "lief,barda,cal" then she heard krees cawwing. Kree showed up and landed on jasmine lifted up left arm he cawwed she said "they're fighting a giant monster all by themselves fili kree look after prin ok".
Jasmine got up while fili and kree landed on top of prin she ran back the path she came leaving her friends to watch the kin.
Back to the fight
Lief charged with his sword for down slash but the vraals armor looking arm blocked it and tossed lief to the side. Then jasmine showed up saw they were fighting the vraal "they dont have a chance" she said then look to her side saw boulder.
She got an idea she said "who knows it could work" back to the battle the vraal was moveing closer and our guy are close to the edge of a cliff. Jasmine shouted "lief,barda,cal get out of the way" they looked up saw jasmine is moving the boulder by placing a big stick underneath it.
Jasmine lifted the stick and the boulder rolled down the hill and the guys seperated as the boulder hit the vraal and fell down the cliff. The guys got up looked over the edge then jasmine shouwed up and said "hey are you guys all right" lief said "yeah thanks to you".
(Cloudy sky) time unknown
Everyone of our adventures were surrounding prin right on the ground they fought the vraal cal powered down his armor and got baggy and hatter back on him. Barda said "you gave her the rest of the nectar from the lilies of life" jasmine said "yeah there wasn't much left, but I hope it works".
Lief said "prin" cal said "why were you flying all the way here" then suddenly they heard a grosn prin is wakeing up. Jasmine said "look she's waking up" lief said "prin" and then prin got up and stood on her feet "did i crash land" prin said.
Barda said "no you didn't gnomes poison arrow hit you and you fell" lief said "why did you follow us here on your own prin don't you realize how worried your mother must be right now". Prin said "don't be mad at me i've always wanted to come here and when you said this is where you were going I knew it was my only chance".
She continued "but I also knew that the others would never let me come with you so I secretly followed hey, you're all covered in scratches and stuff what happened I thought I was the one that was hurt badly guess I was just dreaming about that". Lief said "you weren't dreaming remember barda just told you a poison arrow brought you down lucky for you Jasmine had some nectar tha healed your wound".
Barda said "prin you're the only young your tribe has how do you think the other would feel if anything were to happen to you". Prin said "but its fine cause im alright where are ailsa,merin and bruna there gonna be so surprised to see me here i can't wait to see there faces i mean I actually flew the whole way by myself nobody would've ever thought i could do that".
Lief stood up said "I hate to say it, but they left a while ago" cal said "they made a promise to drop us off at dread mountain and leave as soon as they could". Prin was surprised jasmine got up kneeling barda said "i'm guessing you don't know the way back, so now what do you plan to do" prin looked down sad. Jasmine said "well it looks like you'll just have to come with us" prin said "really you'll let me go with you guys".
Lief said "not a chance it's too dangerous" cal said "we don't have a choice leif" jasmine said "look lief its not gonna be safe for her to try and fly back by herself besides she chose to come". Barda said "but we're heading right into gnome territory she'll draw attention" jasmime said "she's not a baby anymore she's young but she can help us out for one thing she can cut a path through the boolong forest like the other kin did before they left".
Cal said "that is a very good point we need all the help we can get in this mountain" barda said "out of the question I refuse to be burdened by another child who has more energy than sense, you two are quite enough thank you". Jasmime said "ugh what is that supposed to mean if anything I'm the one who's been burden with looking out for you" that angered her. Lief said "what do you mean two of us why isn't cal included in that?" cal said "I may look 18 but I am way older than the two of you combined so don't lump me in with you two".
Meanwhile on the edge of the cliff the vraals left claw grabbed the edge indicating it has climbed back up lief said "stop it you guy were not helping the situation by fighting besides i think we're frightening prin". Prin said "i'm not scared of that look there" she pointed behind them and they all looked the vraal jumped into the water stream back frills moving showing off intimidation.
Barda said "I don't believe it this thing just doesn't quit" cal said "well what do you know I was looking forward to a fight with this creature baggy,hatter things are getting messy". Both baggy and hatter went inside cals belt and the vraal roared lief said "take prin and find a place to hide" jasmine said "right".
While the girls ran to hide the guys drew out there swords and cal transformed into his creature form and charged. The vrall charged right between lief and barda knocking them down on their rumps then vraal grabes barda with its tail. Lief shouted "barda" while the tail squeezed barda shouted "run away get out of here" lief got up with sword shouted "no way I can't leave you".
Barda said "for once just do as I tell you there's no way we're gonna defeat this beast now go" then the vraal threw him to the right with its tail. Barda skidded on the ground then cal grabbed the creature said "did you really forget I was here what do you say vraal round two" they tussled not even giving the other an inch.
Then lief charged jasmine drew her dagger charged as well prin said "dont leave me" all of them fighting the vraal only cal didn't get knocked down beast fighting beast. Cal can easiky match this beast in a fight with all the experience he has collected meanwhile prin is still behind the rock with filli. Prin felt bad she couldn't help she then gasped and made a firm face indicating she got an idea how to help.
As for our group they were still fighting the vraal it knocked down everyone except cal they all stood up and face the vraal with weapons pointed minus cal. The vraal then lifted up a boulder to crush them suddenly prin flew past in between them jasmine shouted "no prin" lief said "what are you doing fly away it's too dangerous!?".
Prin shouted "I know what to do to beat the monster" then she flew up and back to the vraal when she got halfway the vraal threw the boulder prin dodged it. When prin got close she unclenched her right hand and shoved some kind of purple gunk in the vraals mouth eye and the creature roar in pain.
Vraal tried to hit prin but missed mostly because the creature couldn't see with that purple gunk in its eye and then prin shoved the gunk in its eye mouth again. The vraal couldn't take it wailed in pain holding its head and ran off into the boolong forest then prin landed on the ground in front of them. Prin sang "green is the good moss It takes the pain away purple is the bad moss it brings it back again" she then turned and looked a corner to look at our group.
Prin said "mommy and the others sang that to me so many times and its true" cal walked over to her said "thank you prin we owe you our lives". She said "your welcome cal wow I never saw you in this form you look amazing even bigger then the grown ups" cal changed back said "glad you like my creature form".
(Night time) thunderstorm
Now is a rainy thunderstorm at dread mountain the lightning flashes and our group is inside a cave of dread mountain. Everyone is gathered by the fire lief said "thank you prin you saved us the way things were going that vraal would've finished us off for sure". Jasmine said "yeah thanks prin" barda said "you really were something back there" cal said "don't know how long it could keep up with that fight, but I'm greatful you helped us".
Prin laughed said "see aren't you guys glad I followed you after all" barda said "yes and I owe you an apology for calling you a burden". Filli hummed prin said "i was scared but then I remembered that song that's when I knew I had to try to find the moss and help you guy no matter how scared i was I stuffed it good into that ugly monster's mouth that purple moss is supposed to be so bad it can actually burn your skin right off".
Lief said "and the green moss really works well too my cuts and bruises feel like there almost completely healed" cal said "thank you for giving me more for collecting prin". Prin sang "green is the good moss it takes away the pain purple is the bad moss it brings it back again" prin said "when I was little my mommy used to sing that to me but I wasn't sure if it was real actually, there's a lot of stuff about the mountain that she and the others never told me like that vraals live here".
Jasmine said "maybe it came here after they left or they just didn't wanna dream about it I don't think they lied to you" lief said "who in their right mind we wanna dream about that". Barda said "perhaps that's the problem with relying on the springwater after all you can only see what the dream shows you and they always end when things start getting interesting". Cal said "no arguments here why is it dreams always cut off when they get to interesting parts" then barda looked up said "huh".
Barda said "hey prin I don't suppose you remember if any of the adults ever talked about seeing someone that looked like us on the mountain in one of their dreams do you". Prin said "hmhm nope never" barda said "it looks as though who we're not the only people who decided to make a trip to dread mountain" jasmine said "what are you talking about".
Barda grabed a log from the fire which became a torch and he got up and walked to the wall the light from the torch showed words on the wall. Lief got up read the words "who exactly am I all is darkness around me but I will never despair they are only three things of which I am sure I know I am a man I know where I have been and lastly I know what it is that I must do for now that has to be enough".
Everyone was surprised and confused who engraved this on the wall and what was the purpose.
