-NewGuest123: Yeah, Forward Unto Dawn was the best thing that came out under 343. Loved it so much in how it portrayed the Covenant and the Chief. Word of advice, don't ever watch the Halo tv show under any circumstances.
-Yup, Radec was just cool and his VA does a stellar job.
-Yup, basic premise is the MC is an Army Lieutenant during the early days of the outbreak. In a prime position to prevent Sarah's death. After that, don't really know as I'm still thinking on it. Like I said, despite my burning hate for the second game, I have a soft spot for the first one. Still am praying for Kaitlyn Dever as I think she's a good actress and I want to see her in better stuff. Like seriously, they should have casted her as Ellie as she looks much more to how she did in the games and Kaitlyn Dever is a far superior actress to Bella Ramsey. Who was in charge of casting because whoever it was, they messed up bad.
-AdmiralDan09: Yep, be a big shock to everyone. That will probably be the next snippet that I post.
-Again, still thinkin on what to replace the robot with as like you said, an Elite can probably make short work of them. Maybe just have them avoid death by sheer luck or maybe have them draw up a card that spawns ODSTs or UNSC Army Rangers or something? Like while Walter is being chased Danny spawns up a group of Army Troopers that take it down or something.
-I'm happy you like the idea! Never saw the idea either and I still don't know how I came up with it. Sill like the first Last of Us despite my hate for Neil and the second instalment.
-Austin: Yeah, Transformers Prime was a good show. I still miss it : (
-Honestly, I don't know the Dinozaurs cartoon. Though it does sound neat and your idea does sound good. Great work!
-TK0421: Yup, Trilla was still scary even by the end. While the GI lost his coolness thanks to Rebels.
-Yup, once she shows he more ruthless side. That's when they'll start to really like her.
-Yea, like I said, despite my seething hatred for the second game I still have a soft spot for the first one. Not going to watch the rest of season 2. Heck I just only saw a couple of clips so far of the first two episodes like the Jackson attack and Joel's death (still makes me sad to this day. Screw you, Neil Druckkman), didn't watch the full episodes just scenes that were about a minute long. Though I hope Kaitlyn Dever doesn't get too much hate as she's just an actress playing a role. I watched a couple of her scenes and she does a great job so far. Though I still think she should have been cast to play Eliie as she looks much more similar to how Ellie looked like in the games than Bella does, not to mention that Kaitlyn Dever is a FAR superior actress to the actual actress for Ellie. Seriously, what were they thinking? But after the whole saving Sarah bit, probably just have him do his best to prevent the downfall of the world. Show more of the initial outbreak stuff 'cause I always find that the most interesting part in zombie stories.
-KingDiamond55: Yep, Mae becoming a full blown Sister of Battle fanatic to Six will be something to see. Am thinking of having a scene where an ape army attacks an underground human settlement like Cheyenne Mountain or something and Six leading the defense with an Abrams. Think it would be cool.
-Yeah, the board game does seem interesting.
-Yea, like I said, despite my seething hatred for the second game I still have a soft spot for the first one.
-KingTheon722: Yeah, SODAZ work is amazing and the chem troopers he introduced was awesome. His video is canon for me as well as to how Sunburst went down.
-Same for me, dude. That's how my stories are generated. 1: Idea pops in my head at whatever moment. 2: Me wanting to read it and not finding it anywhere. 3: We actually being passionate enough to write it.
-Glad you like the idea! Joel's story will definitely change. Though I'm still thinking on the exact repercussions.
-Agent1313: Glad you like it! Still thinking on the butterfly effects, but yeah, Joel will be less damaged.
-Guest: Glad you like it! Hopefully one day I will get down to actually writing it. For now, the idea I have is for the MC doing his part to help contain the infection and then later on become a Colonel or whatever in charge of a safe zone, idea's still cooking. I will definitely try to keep them in their M81 woodland camo, as that was my personal favorite U.S military camo of all time. Something about it just looks so cool to me.
-Guest: Yup, shame because it can be done well, you just need the right people behind it. Honestly, while I thought the Fallout show was better than most TV show adaptions, I still didn't really like it. Mainly because of the lore changes they did.

Halo: A Space Adventure (Halo x Zathura: A Space Adventure)
Summary: Danny finds a Halo board game that turns out to have some... unforeseen consequences. AKA, sending their house into space and attacking their house with elements from the Halo universe. With no other way out, Danny, Walter, and Lisa must complete the game to return home. And maybe, they'll have a little help along the way.
Turning off the hair dryer, Lisa noticed a burning smell. Sniffing the hairdryer and even her hair. She noticed that it was not coming from the device, but instead coming from the hallway.
Opening the door as she put on her shirt, she noticed smoke coming from downstairs. And the smell of something that was on fire.
"Walter?" She called out as she moved forward hesitantly. Picking up speed as she reached the stairs.
What she saw as she made it downstairs left her mouth gaped and wide eyed as she came across something that shocked her. Her two little brothers were stroking a fire, with Walter breaking apart the wooden hammers they had and tossing it in, and Danny ripping off a cupboard door and jamming it into the blaze.
She only had one thing she could say in regards to the sight.
"YOU GUYS ACTUALLY SET THE HOUSE ON FIRE?!" She screeched. With her yelling making them turn to her.
"Lisa's back!"
"She's unfrozen!"
The two kids cheered as they ran to hug their older sister. Would stood there paralyzed for several seconds before shaking out of her confusion.
"W-What are you guys doing!?" She hollered as she pushed them off. "Help me put it out!" She ran to the nearby closest and pulled out the fire extinguisher. Completely obvious to the fact the Danny and Walter were yelling at her not to do it and to stop as they talked over themselves.
"Great." Walter complained once the fire was out.
"Not we'll never get the game back." Danny muttered dejectedly.
Before shout at them about why they were worried about a game when the house was on fire. A voice she had never heard before filled the air. Coming from the nearby exit to the hallway.
"Alright." A voice came out of the hallway. Drawing Lisa's attention as she saw what looked to be a man in some kind of dark green armor that she had never seen before towering at rouhly seven feet tall, only just now that she noticed that the door frame was damaged with what looked to be scorch and burn marks. His face and head obscured by the silver visor along with the helmet. With his voice heavily modulated with it sounding like he was talking through as gas mask.
"No need to worry. They're back." He said as the two boys sighed in relief. Much to her bafflement.
"W-Who the hell are you!?" She demanded as she stared at him cautiously.
"The Spartan. From the game we're in." He answered somewhat awkwardly. "Danny spun me." The humongous man said as he made his way back down the hallway with Danny and Walter following him. With Lisa following behind them.
She nearly paused several times as they passed by several corpses of some kind of creatures she had never seen before spilling blue blood on the floor. Looking like monsters or even aliens out of some kind of sci-fi video game. Some of them spouted split mandibles while others had gas masks and the rest looked like birds with a massive beak.
Along the way, she also came across corpses of humans. Wearing some kind of body armor she had never seen before. There were two variants: the ones that had had their faces uncovered or were wearing eye protection, goggles or compact targeting devices over one of their eyes. The other variant having their faces completely concealed via the silver visor that obscured their faces.
Unable to hold it in, she vomited on the floor, as she had never seen a person die, let only a bunch of corpses lining the hallways of her father's home. Noticing that the armored juggernaut and her two brothers were staring at something via a in the living room. She made to join them, only to want to vomit again as she took in the sight.
There was a massive hole in the wall on the opposite side of the room, showcasing a scene straight out a movie with an apocalyptic sight. The landscape looked horrible with destroyed vehicles, aircraft, and corpses lined up for miles. Off in the distance, she should see a city that looked to be destroyed, with purple ships miles long fired a kind of laser into the earth. Making several buildings fall and crumple into a cloud of smoke. With huge walking crawlers that moved on four legs fired at buildings and structures with their frontal green plasma cannon. With one of those ships making a beeline straight for them.
"What is that!? What is that?!" What's going on where are we?!" She pleaded for somebody to tell her something but they all ignored her as they stared at the incoming corvette. "Somebody please talk to me right now!"
Seeing several smaller purple dots appear in the distance, the Spartan handed his monotube that served as a zoom device to Walter so he could see. "Alright, they're deploying Phantoms. They're going to board us."
"What's going to board us?"
"You guys, look alive, okay?"
"What's going to board us!?"
"Kig-Yar!" Walter snapped as he handed the optical instrument to his little brother as he looked back at the scenery.
"What's a Kig-Yar?!"
"Giant bird men that eat meat. We're meat!" Danny clarified as he handed monotube to the giant guardian.
Suddenly, the damaged house shook as a flight of UNSC F-130 Karambits flew overhead as they fired Sidewinder air-to-air missiles at the Phantoms before breaking off and punching their thrusters to the max. With two of the Phantoms managing to deploy countermeasures to evade but striking one as it fell into an uncontrolled descent and crashed about a dozen meters away into the house. Further shaking the damaged structure.
"Come on, guys! Let's hide downstairs!" Lisa yelled as she ran down the hallway. Only for Danny and Walter to remain unphased and focus on the armored Spartan.
"Listen, when they land, I'm going to commandeer one of the Phantoms, sneak on the Corvette, and get the game back. Got it?"
"Hang on," Walter said.
"What?"
"Did she just say downstairs?" With the realization hitting all three of them as they ran after her.
Running down the stair frantically, she opened the door only to come face to face with an Aggressor sentinel. Letting out a slew of beeps as it used it's repair laser on itself. With Lisa letting out a yell in fright as she closed the door and locked it. Running back up the steps as she ran into the Spartan and her brothers as he de-polarized his visor.
"Hey, hey," He grabbed onto her to get her to calm down. "Just stay with us, and everything will be okay."
Lisa didn't respond as she stood there with her eyes wide and her mouth slightly gaped. Staring at him awestruck as she looked at him like a lovestruck school girl. Gawking at his eyes that were now visible through through the visor,
"I-I'll never leave you." She managed to stutter out while slightly panting, though not from exhaustion or fear. As the Spartan ushered them to where he needed them to be for his plan to work.
Author's note: So, yeah hope you enjoyed this little snippet. Don't know if I'm going to make the Spartan a future version of Walter here. Still thinking on the idea.
As always, take care, guys. And always remember... stay frosty, gents.
