Chapter 4: The Unruly Demon
Calvin vs Heath Grice: Unruly by Dizzy Eight
Review Replies
Raidentensho: Nice one. I wonder if there will be a 3rd traveler who will be the Warlock class and mentor to the other 2? I can maybe picture them as someone in the Heart Kingdom and a Sun-slinger for their main magic. this will be epic. until then, later!
ThermalsniperN7: We never thought of that, but it is a good idea, having a Warlock to complete the trinity.
Dragon Emperor0: Issue: Who the hell is it gonna be?
Raidentensho: very nice. so, will there be other anime cameos? I can maybe see Cana from Fairy Tail, being a drinking buddy of Vanessa. this will be epic. until then, later!
ThermalsniperN7: I never really watched Fairy Tail, so I dunno who Cana is. But based on you saying that she's a drinker, maybe we can make it work.
Dragon Emperor0: HEAVY drinker. Like she can drink entire large barrels of wine and still not be inebriated enough to be considered drunk a lot of the time. No exaggeration.
-Black Bulls Hideout, Forsaken Realm-
The day typically begins early for a magic knight, as there's much to do before the sun goes down, as was the case for Asta—who quickly rose this said morning and began to rush around the hideout doing all manner of tasks left and right.
He would do the laundry (Spoilers: his nose bled when he found Vanessa's underwear in the pile), clean the dishes and feed the monsters Yami collected… Along with other chores not really in that order.
Noelle was supposed to help him, but she hid behind the excuse of being royalty to opt out.
As this was going on though…
A yawn could be heard from inside the rec room where a slowly awakening Calvin started to come to after… Let's just say getting his world rocked by the Drunken Witch of the Black Bulls.
Vanessa hummed as she woke up as well, her bare breasts pressing against his chest as she sat up and kissed him good morning, fiercely attacking his mouth with her tongue as he offered her little resistance, just as she figured he would.
"Mmm… Morning." The woman moaned with a yawn as she pulled back.
"M-Morning." The boy gasped as she pulled away from him.
"You know, with how you are outside of the bedroom, I never would've expected you to be the submissive type." The pinkette noted as she kissed the boy on the neck, causing him to moan.
"It's… A… coping mechanism… Kinda. Helps me… relieve myself from having to… Stay in control… of my magic… All the time—Ah~!" The older teen gasped as she started sucking on his neck and nibbling on his ear.
"You clearly need a break, then." The pink haired drunkard cooed. "I can definitely give it to you." She added, right before she kissed him again…
(Later)
After getting cleaned up and dressed, Calvin decided to have breakfast with the Black Bulls, and Charmy was more than willing to get his stomach filled up.
It wasn't just him though, everyone else in the Black Bulls was there, even Asta.
"Oh, hey Cal, I didn't know you were still here." The short stack greeted his childhood friend.
"Yeah, Vanessa offered to let me stay over and I… Decided to take her up on her offer, if you get my drift." The brunette nodded, causing Noelle to flush red as she knew exactly what that meant.
"Well, just make sure you're out of here before you get caught up in some shenanigans." Asta told him before pausing. "... Actually, you'll probably stay for that, anyway." He amended.
"Heh." The teen nodded.
"Hey Noelle, how is it that you don't help out with the chores?" Asta questioned.
"Pretty sure that's obvious: She's a royal, royals are inherently lazy." Calvin jeered, giving Noelle a 'go ahead, prove me wrong' look as he did.
"Hmph!" The girl huffed, turning away from him.
"I rest my case." The Stasis Mage deadpanned.
"On that note, what does a magic knight squad even do? I've been here for like, two days and all I've done is a bunch of chores like back at the church." The shorter teen questioned while Calvin continued to eat his food, deciding to opt out of this part of the conversation.
"What does a–?! Are you telling me you joined the Magic Knights without knowing what their job is?!" Magna shouted in disbelief.
"I mean I had a general idea, but it's like I said: So far all I've been doing is a bunch of chores." The boy pointed out.
"Well, being a Magic Knight is one of the manliest jobs in the world! It's…!" The punk fire mage started to rant before groaning in exasperation. "Will someone please tell him what being a Magic Knight is all about?!" He demanded. "How about you, Wineo?" He questioned.
"Well." Vanessa said as she took a sip of her usual wine. "We, like, safeguard the citizens safety, that sort of thing." She explained. "Plus you can also meet some marvelous gentlemen while you're on guard duty." She added with a flirty purr in Calvin's direction, causing the boy to blush as he looked away, sipping his own drink.
"You also get to eat yummy food!" Charmy chirped as she ate a drumstick.
Gordon seemed to say something, but it was hard to make out what.
"It's a job my sister Marie can be proud of." Gouache commented, looking at his usual picture of his little sister.
"If you ask me it's all the people you get to fight! You can spend hours beating up a criminal and no one will ever think twice about it!" Luck chimed in.
"My man." Calvin grinned, giving the boy a fist bump.
Grey didn't have anything of note to say, seemingly, but then he transformed into a duplicate of Asta.
"Well, all in all, it's just a really good job." He smiled. "I really look forward to going on our first mission together." He added.
"Uh… Right." The real short stack blinked before Grey went back to normal. "Man, there are some real Weirdos in this squad…" He noted.
"Right?" The Stasis user nodded, watching Grey leave. 'Just wait until the Undersea Kingdom Arc, it's gonna get weirder.' He thought to himself, right as Yami walked in.
"Magna, it's time." The squad captain told the punk, causing him to get serious.
"… Da fuck's goin' on here?" Calvin questioned, getting shrugs from everyone else.
Of course he already knew what this likely was, but given that things were happening differently than what he remembered from the Anime, for all he knew it could be another case of something different.
In the event it wasn't, though, he'd have something to laugh at.
(Later)
After getting something to eat, the young man was about to go ahead and say goodbye to everyone before he headed back to his squad's hideout—when a sudden massive mana presence suddenly made itself known right behind him, startling everyone around him.
Slowly turning, they saw an African skinned man standing there. He had white hair, despite being in what everyone presumed was his twenties, so it was probably natural.
Attire wise he was wearing a simple red jacket, no visible shirt, white pants, sandals and a red sash around his waist. Lastly he had on a blindfold, obscuring his eyes and a Crimson Lion Kings robe.
"Hey boy, time to go home." The man said in a voice that clued the mages in right away that he was probably from the common realm or forsaken realm.
"Ah shit, Charon." Calvin cursed as he turned around, giving the man a neutral look. "Whatchyo big blind ass doin' here?" He questioned.
"Hey, I'm just here to tell you Fuegoleon's pretty mad that you didn't come back without telling him, I ain't gonna hold ya." The man, Charon, told him frankly.
"Aw hell…" The Stasis user sighed.
"He actually never told his captain what he was up to?" Noelle questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"Are you really that surprised?" Asta whispered.
"I'll be right back in a sec, don't worry." Calvin told the fire mage. "And for the love of god, don't do that pop up shit, you'll give someone a heart attack." He sighed.
"Aight, then. Later." The man nodded before he took off on his broom.
"… Who was that?!" Luck questioned.
"Charon Evangelion, my direct superior." Calvin explained with a sigh. "Dude's a fire mage from out in the Boondocks with some crazy strong flame magic, nearly put me on my ass a couple times when we first crossed spells." He added.
"Wait, what?! He almost beat you?!" Asta shouted in disbelief.
"I know right? It nearly made me rethink my life choices for a second." The teen nodded with a shudder. "Anyway, I'll see you guys next time." He told them as he summoned his own broom.
"... I wanna fight Charon." Luck commented after a beat passed, much to everyone's exasperation.
"You're all insane…" Noelle sighed.
(Elsewhere)
Meanwhile, back at the Crimson Lion Kings hideout, after arriving back with Charon, Calvin was now awaited by Fuegoleon, who looked far from pleased.
Now he wasn't furious, but still, peeved wasn't good either.
"I hope you have a good reason for not coming back last night." Fuegoleon told him with a frown.
"I had a hot date, literally." The boy stated rather matter of factly. "She offered to let me stay at her place, so I did. I was gonna come back after that." He told his captain.
"And when did you meet your 'hot date' as you put it?" The squad leader questioned.
"At a mixer I went to yesterday." Calvin answered. "Leopold was there, he didn't tell you?" He questioned.
"No, though I suppose that he was most likely just trying to respect your privacy." Fuegoleon responded.
"That does sound like something he'd do." The Stasis Mage hummed. "So other than that, any particular reason you sent Charon over here to get me?" He questioned.
"I have a mission for you." The man told him. "You and Leopold are to go on a patrol to the Forsaken realm, Leo already knows the assigned route so he'll fill you in." He continued. "Once you conclude your patrol, you are to report directly to Charon." He added. "Understand?" He questioned.
"Got it." The boy replied with a sigh.
(Later)
It was later that day and both Leopold and Calvin were in the process of doing their patrol of the Forsaken Realm along the route that Fuegoleon had laid out for them and were now reaching the halfway point after reaching and passing through Rayhaka Village, Magna's home turf.
However, as they began to progress along said route, a slight fog started to roll in from a direction that the Stasis user recognized as near Saussy village.
He didn't recall there being any mist at this time of year, so that meant one thing…
"Whoa whoa whoa! Ayo, stop everything!" He exclaimed, slowing to a hover as he looked around. 'Great! The Saussy Village arc just had to happen now!' He thought in displeasure.
"What's wrong?" Leopold questioned.
"Follow me, Leo, we're taking a quick detour to Saussy village." The older teen told him.
"What? But brother told us—." The redhead protested.
"I know what he said. But trust me, I got a feeling that there's something going on." Calvin countered. "Look, Saussy is just up the way here, and it's in the general vicinity of our assigned route, so I don't think Fuegoleon would mind that we took a quick detour, especially if it meant that we ended up stopping any potential near duels." He explained.
"I hope you're right. Lead the way." Leopold sighed as he prompted the Unruly Demon to lead on.
As they kept moving, they soon found that the mist kept getting thicker and thicker, but thankfully, Calvin had a solution for that.
"Stasis Magic: Shiver Break!" He called as he slammed his fist to the ground and freezing the mist into a thick cavalcade of Stasis ice, before stomping on the ground and causing it to shatter, dissipating the mist—and revealing the village they were looking for in the distance—which was covered by a dome of mist.
"Well, you called it. Something is very wrong here." The young Vermillion stated as he looked at the dome. "Think you can shatter that mist after you freeze it?" He asked.
"A cloud that big?" Calvin muttered as they kept making their way to the village. "Maybe, but I'd rather not waste the mana. I think we should try to make our way on foot. I can navigate us using this." He stated as his Grimoire flipped to another page. "Stasis Magic: Polaris Needle." He intoned as a needle made of Stasis crystal formed in his palm and started spinning around and turning like a compass.
Once it was firmly locked to the North, the boy knew that it was showtime.
"This way." He told Leo as he kept leading them forward.
(Elsewhere)
Meanwhile, a similar situation was happening in another part of the village as Asta was in the process of slicing through the magic mist under the direction of Magna while he, Noelle and said fire punk were trying to figure out where the villagers were.
"Hm, okay, we should be in the village square right about now." Magna told his subordinates. "Wait…" He muttered as he sensed two magical presences heading their way. "Asta, cut just to the right of you!" He ordered.
"On it!" The boy nodded as he did just that… Revealing a surprised Leopold and Calvin—with the latter stopping the boy's sword with his wrist.
"… Bruh, if you don't get this fat ass butter knife off me." The brunette deadpanned as he pushed the short stack backwards.
"... What are you guys doing here?" Magna questioned with a blink.
"We were patrolling the Forsaken Realm and noticed what was going on, so we decided to investigate." Leopold replied.
"I figured it was worth a detour." The bespectacled teen shrugged. "So, what're you guys doing here?" He questioned as he checked his pocket watch, though he already knew.
"We were hunting boars for the village leader, but got worried when we saw the mist." Magna replied. "We're trying to find the villagers, wherever they are, so we can figure things out." He added.
"We'll pitch in just in case." Leopold told him, getting a nod of appreciation.
"It's been about fifteen minutes since we got here. We should be getting to the square any second now." Calvin nodded as he brought up his Polaris Needle again. "There. Asta, you mind?" He prompted as his needle pointed straight ahead.
"On it!" The short boy nodded as he swung his sword, cutting away the mist and revealing the distressed and slightly battered villagers.
"Aaaand called it." The Stasis user nodded. "And judging by the fact that this place is surrounded by ice magic…" He hummed, causing the others to look around and see ice fangs floating above the villagers. "I'd wager that the person behind this is none other than Heath Grice, aka Number 15 in the Crimson Lion Kings bingo book of most wanted rogue mages." He noted, checking his watch again.
"How very astute." A voice commented, causing the mages to turn and, sure enough, Heath was sitting on a brick, flanked by his underlings as he looked at his watch.
"Tch, whatcha lookin' at, punk ass? You think shit is sweet or somethin'?" The Unruly Demon questioned as he and the others got into battle stances. "Magna, think you, Asta and Leopold can handle the goons on the right and left?" He questioned.
"Easily." Magna nodded as he, Asta and Leopold brandished their Grimoires.
"I guess I can protect the villagers." Noelle chimed in.
"Good call." The boy nodded, stepping forward as he checked his watch. "Set a timer." He told the group as he put it away and cracked his knuckles. "Cuz Imma 'bout to beat this punk's ass in about a minute flat." He added, his Polaris Needle floating above him and tracking everything around him.
"A bold claim from a common whelp." Heath scoffed dismissively. But then he took notice of the look of the crystal above him. "Dark, almost abysmal blue… This must be the so-called Stasis magic." He hummed, before looking at the boy. "And judging by your robe you're a member of the Crimson Lion Kings, which must mean that you are the one they call the Unruly Demon." He noted.
"Ah, so my reputation has preceded me. Good." Calvin grinned as he popped his neck. "So that must mean that you must know that you're about to get your ass knocked into next week." He smirked.
"You won't even be able to touch me." The criminal mage scoffed.
"Wanna bet?" The boy grinned as he conjured something in his hand. "Stasis Magic: Scatter Grenade!" He yelled as he tossed the grenade of crystal at the man.
"An obvious attack, easily intercepted." Heath sighed as he sent an ice ball at the grenade—only for it to suddenly break into three pieces, weave around the ball, and then freeze both his legs and start to creep up his lower body. "What?!" He exclaimed as the third formed an ice wall behind him.
Calvin, meanwhile, formed his Behemoth gauntlet and stopped the ice ball with one hand, shattering it into snowflakes.
"You ugly, limp-dicked motherfucker…" The boy said with an almost unsettlingly disarming smile before he rushed at the man—in his Behemoth icy state, gauntlet on. "Boi—I oughta beat yo ass!" He barked as he grabbed the man by the face with his gauntlet hand and then slammed him into the ground with a Glacial Slam, shattering stasis crystals everywhere.
The Stasis covering Heath's legs not only shattered, but they also caused some injuries due to some of it either scraping his legs, or even getting lodged into them. That was going to impair his ability to stand.
"Oooh!" Magna and Asta winced as the latter bashed one of Heath's goons with his sword, sending him flying.
"That had to hurt." The flame punk cringed.
As Heath struggled to get back up, Calvin just stood over him, hands in his pockets.
"Damn, cuz, the fade just started and you're already on the ground." The boy noted, seemingly disappointed from the lack of a fight he was getting. "Boi, you best get yo sorry ass up!" He said as he stomped on the man's face and caused them both to fall into a cavern that opened in the ground that was a part of the village's water well.
Then, as the two started to fall, all Asta and the others could hear was Calvin's almost maniacal laughter as they kept falling down into the pit.
"... Should we feel sorry for that Heath guy?" Noelle couldn't help but question as she peered down the hole.
"I'm not." Magna said as he brought out his Grimoire to try and capture the grunts—only for his attention to be torn away as the ice fangs from before started moving in towards the villagers!
"It's a Failsafe spell!" Leo exclaimed.
"I can't get them all!" Asta exclaimed with a grunt as he destroyed the ones he could get.
Magna attempted to get as many as he could as well, as did Leopold with his flame magic, but the fangs just kept coming—hitting both them and the villagers over and over.
"Fools! You thought you were going to win just because you distracted Master Heath? This is his Failsafe activation spell Ice Fang Infinite Fall—no matter how hard you try the fangs will keep coming!" One of the goons laughed.
"If you all value your lives, retreat now and let these worthless beasts die, save yourselves." Another stated in a neutral tone.
"Or stay and die with them. Your choice." The third added.
"In the mist, be lost!" They chorused.
"Go fuck yourselves!" Asta roared defiantly as he kept fighting with Leopold and Magna.
Meanwhile, Noelle was gritting her teeth in frustration. Her compatriots were doing their damndest to keep everyone safe, but she felt like she couldn't do anything.
She needed to do something!
But… Something in her told her that she should flee, at least save herself—she was royalty after all—she was more valuable alive than dead.
However, right as she was about to turn tail and run…
"M-Miss magic knight…" A small and very scared voice whimpered, causing the silver haired girl to turn and see a little girl clinging to her in fear. "Please… Help us! We need you!" She begged.
Noelle was stunned to silence, this… this little girl was asking, no—she was begging her for help!
'I have to protect her!' The Silva girl thought.
And not a moment later—her Grimoire started acquiring another spell.
This was a common occurrence. If a mage trained, went through a life milestone, a life or death experience or a significant event that helped them grow—they acquired new spells. This was one such time.
"Water Creation Magic: Sea Dragon's Lair!" She exclaimed as a dome of water surrounded them. The attacks that hit it had no chance of getting through.
"Perfect timing! Now we can go on the offensive!" Leopold grinned.
"See? You can learn some new stuff if you're willing to try." Magna told the Silva girl with a smirk.
Noelle, meanwhile, just blushed as she looked away.
(Elsewhere)
"… Ya know, looking at you now, I'm just not convinced that you're the guy who was listed in the top twenty of our squad's bingo book." Calvin said as he looked at Heath, who was currently halfway frozen in a block of Stasis ice. "Like seriously, you're sorry as shit, my boi, I'm not even playing." He pointed out.
"Arrogant… child…!" Heath bit out through clenched teeth, forcing himself out of the ice as his body roared in pain due to his wounds and the cold of the Stasis ice affecting him.
He had tried to fight Calvin, but was almost soundly overpowered.
"I… Don't understand why you're so adamant about saving these worthless beasts. They're peasants with very little mana, only able to use a few meager spells to get by with the drudgery of their daily lives—death in this case would be a small mercy to them." The man said, forcing himself up before yanking one of the crystals from his side and tossing it away, causing him to cough blood.
"I do it because unlike your callous ass, I care about life." Calvin retorted. "You act as if they're animals to be slaughtered and forgotten when they aren't. They have lives, thoughts and feelings like everyone else. You take life for granted and treat the common folk like they're expendable. They aren't the beasts here, you are!" He finished with a growl.
And as he said that, his Grimoire suddenly flipped to a new page and wrote down a new spell—it seemed that his anger and resolve had been rewarded.
"And now…" The boy said as he let out a puff of mist, showing his anger. "You've managed to piss me off. So, you shall know… Pain." He added as his Behemoth gauntlet took shape. "Stasis Magic: Suppression Avalanche!" He boomed as he slammed his fist onto the ground and blocky forms of ice started pouring into the pit like a Tsunami before…
(Elsewhere)
"Take this!" Asta yelled as he clocked the third goon in the head with his sword, knocking him out.
"Okay, that's all of them." Magna nodded as he, Leopold and Asta rounded up the thugs. "Flame Binding Magic: Bondage Formation." He intoned as the goons were bound in flames.
"Calvin should be done with Heath right about now." Leopold nodded… Right as a MASSIVE almost miniature mountain of Stasis crystals erupted from the pit up towards the sky above the buildings of the village and Heath flew out of the hole he and Calvin fell into and landed in front of them, completely out cold and covered in bruises.
"Whoa!" Asta exclaimed as they leapt back.
"What the hell was that?!" Magna questioned.
Looking atop the mountain of Stasis, they saw Calvin looking down at them while posing like Itachi Uchiha.
"... Did you get a new spell?" Leopold asked.
"Say hello to Suppression Avalanche! Any and all magic used within ten feet of this spell is immediately rendered useless!" The boy called down.
"That's cool and all, but we kinda need to figure out what to do with these guys!" The punk called up to him.
"… What'd you say?" The Stasis user called, causing everyone to facepalm.
(Later)
After a couple of hours, Heath began to wake up and saw the bindings he was in.
"Well look who decided to wake up." Calvin smirked as he rested against a barrel. "Alright, ass clown, start talking." He ordered.
"We're not saying anything." One of the thugs spat defiantly.
"Oh you're gonna tell us, cuz the capitol's gonna squeeze every last bit of info outta you!" Magna snarled.
"No they won't." Heath retorted, right as one of the other mages used water magic to escape the flame bindings. "Know this, the end times are upon us. Keep protecting these useless creatures as much as you like, soon it won't matter at all." He added before something started glowing.
"The hell?! He has a magic item in his body!" Magna exclaimed in alarm.
"Ice Magic: Ice Burial." The man intoned as he and the rest were frozen solid before they suddenly shattered into dust, the man's Grimoire dissolving in Magna's hand.
A moment of silence passed, before it was broken by Calvin spitting on the ground.
"Tch, worthless prick. Good riddance." He hissed.
"Why would he even go that far?" Asta couldn't help but wonder.
"Who the fuck cares? Dude was pure evil, if anything he did us a fuckin' favor." The brunette scoffed.
"He was so callous about ordinary people. Life has no room for people like that." Leopold grunted in agreement.
"How can you two say that?! Life isn't something that you can just throw away!" Asta barked.
"Does it look like we're arguing that point?" The Stasis user questioned.
"Heath and his thugs talked about commoners like they were beasts and took their lives for granted. We need to stand against and remove evil when the situation demands it." Leopold chimed in.
"Fuck, I'm gonna need a drink after this…" Calvin groaned as he ran a hand through his hair.
"Ditto." Magna nodded in agreement.
Their attention then drifted to Nick and his sister, who were huddled around the lifeless body of their grandfather, Sehi.
"Shit… Not old Sehi…" The Stasis user cursed. 'Guess some canon events can't be changed. Fuck.' He thought.
(Later)
After burying Sehi on a cliff with a great view, everyone paid their respects to the man who died defending his home.
"This is going to be a lot of paperwork…" Calvin sighed.
"But at least the village is safe now." Leopold told him as Asta, Magna and Noelle talked to Nick.
"There's that, as small as it is." The boy nodded. "Come on, Leo. Let's go home." He sighed, scratching the back of his head in irritation.
This certainly hit a sour note in Calvin's tune…
(Timeskip)
It was later that night and both boys were now giving their full mission reports to Fuegoleon, who was listening intently to his subordinates' story, and noting how incensed they were about the whole ordeal.
"I see that you two were given a considerable amount of displeasure by these rogue mages." The man commented.
"Like you wouldn't believe." Calvin grunted. "I already know the identity for you, it was Heath Grice, one of the Mages in the squad Bingo book." He told the man.
"And he killed himself rather than let himself be captured. I suppose I can take him out of the bingo book now." Fuegoleon sighed.
"He said something about the end times. Something tells me there's something more afoot here, brother." Leo noted.
"I'm of the same opinion." The man nodded. "For now though, hold your heads high. What happened to Sehi of Saussy Village was indeed a tragedy, but you and the Black Bulls kept those monsters from taking any more innocent lives, you honored his memory with your actions." He told them, before facing Calvin. "And you, Calvin." He nodded, getting the boy's attention. "Though you deviated from your assigned path, it would seem that your instincts were indeed sound. Well done." He added.
"When your instincts warn you about something, it's best to listen to them." Calvin nodded. "All the same… Thanks, Captain. It means a lot." He nodded.
"Good, now. Before you go." Fuegoleon nodded, causing the two to look at him. "For your efforts in Saussy Village, it would seem that the Wizard king has decided to award you both each a star." He told them.
"Oh. Cool." Calvin blinked, not expecting that.
"That's an honor." Leo nodded.
"And one last thing." Fuegoleon said before he tossed them two coin pouches. "Your wages came in today." He added.
"Nice." Calvin nodded with a smirk as he started planning what to do with his money. "I think I'll send about… I dunno, a quarter back to Hage, maybe more. Then I'll probably use some to do some repairs on Salvation's Grip." He mused. "Still can't believe I have to repair it, dumbass Charon, he really could stand to be more considerate of people's property…" He muttered.
"Why did you even bring that to the fight you had with him?" Leopold questioned.
"I thought it would help… It didn't." The Stasis Mage sighed in reply. "Anyway, anything else?" He asked.
"No, tomorrow you two may have the day to yourselves." Their captain replied. "For now though, perhaps it's best you both go to your rooms. It's been a rather taxing few days, I imagine." He suggested.
"Like you wouldn't believe." Calvin sighed as he and Leopold left. "… Now that I think about it. I could use this as an excuse to see Vanessa again." He nodded as he went into his room to get ready for bed.
Silver lining was, at least he had a girlfriend to be with in times like this.
ThermalsniperN7: Well… The Saussy Village arc went slightly differently, but Sehi still died, sadly.
Dragon Emperor0: Yeah… Well, at least Heath got his ass whooped—and very rightfully so.
ThermalsniperN7: Callous bastard had it coming. Anyway, if you see any relation to the Charon from Fire Force (I hope I got that right), that was Dragon Emperor0's idea… I just hope the dialogue with him doesn't offend anybody.
Dragon Emperorz0: It's lifted from CJ DaChamp so we are trying to go for a certain tone here, purely for entertainment and humor purposes, nothing more. That said, come on. Charon was an absolute menace in fire force, so imagine a mage who's like that… That's all I'm saying. Anyway, we're going to doing the Hage arc with Joshua next. Hopefully you guys will like it too.
ThermalsniperN7: Oh man, those poor enemies of his ain't ready for him. Seriously, they will deadass drop like flies when he gets to work. He's gonna be an E4 and they'll be 'the work.' If you've seen The Fat Electrician's video on the E4 Mafia, you'll understand why being the assignment of an E4 is a horrible experience.
Dragon Emperor0: Ain't that the truth, anyway, see you guys next time.
