Chapter 15: "The Formidable Warrior who Secretly breaks his Weakness"

The sun was setting off and the street lights was flashing around the road.

Dandylion accepted the War Veteran's invitation as he followed them to a tall building closer to the supermarkets.

They were in a private office room with thick walls and bullet proof windows where people wouldn't hear them getting noisy.

As they sat in a comfy chair and feel the cold breeze from the air conditioner, Dandylion set the little girl in the luxurious and soft chair to let her sleep while he, Rounder and Nezumi sat closer for discussions.

They ensure not to yell as long as the little girl Inoka is peacefully asleep. Rounder picked something from his bag and gave a gift box to Nezumi, who received it with a confused look.

"Here you go, souvenirs from Kyoto." Rounder said as he rubbed his head. "You know, I heard about your apartment gone and I felt sorry for you so I thought, giving you treat along with your caretaker might cheer you up"

"Thank you. But you don't need it, Rounder nii san" Nezumi tried to give the present back but Rounder shook his hand, rejecting his choice.

"I insist. If I had been there, I would've deal your problems in no time." Rounder starts to glare at Dandylion and mocked back, "Especially considering I trusted some groups for not doing more trouble after helping them. And yet, I wonder if that's their repayment."

Dandylion can tell he's messing with the War Criminal groups. How dare they accuse them as troublemakers when all they did was observing the Rat brat. He's underestimating their troubles of dealing with those shadowy warriors. Of course, Nezumi is too dense to understand this conversation.

"Geez, I wonder who they are. If you're really here to insult those groups, I'd suggest you don't take this too far." The War Criminal clenched his fist and fired up, hoping he could punch that War Veteran.

"Relax. I'm not done yet." Rounder shook his head and looked back to Nezumi. "I also got a last gift from the Manager. I forgot too send it to you, given how you were tired for our first reunion. So, take it." Rounder gave another gift attached with three letters and a golden bell.

"I'm grateful. It's not necessary to treat me like this but if it's from Manager, I'll take it." Nezumi made a small smile as he received it. "Also, If you see Manager, send him my regards. Tell him we should meet up again. There's something I want to share him."

"Understood. Everything for you." Rounder smiled back. Dandylion suspects he's acting like a big brother to gain his trust.

"Tell me Rounder, why are you so close with him as if you treat him an important person? Did something happened that changed your life?" Dandylion asked.

"Of course, I got a new job because of him. Anything else?" Rounder said directly.

"Well you see..."

"Nezumi" Rounder called him as he pointed the sleeping girl and ordered, "Take Inoka and go home. You can catch up the train just fine while the night is clear." He turned his eyes back to Dandylion and smiled back, "Dandylion and I still have some grown up discussion to deal with. If you want to, you can wait for us? Though you would prefer to sleep instead of listening."

"You read my mind well, Rounder nii-san." Nezumi sighed back. He accepted his suggestion a she stood up, carrying Inoka on his back and walked on the way to the exit door. "Well then, I'm off."

"Be careful." Rounder waved them goodbye as he watched the teen entering the exit and walking away from the office.

Rounder closed his eyes and waited until they're really moving away from the building. As they're finally out of range, the warriors begun to start their argument on what topics they would share in their meeting.

"Now then, as leaders from different sides, It's time to tell our views between War Veterans and War Criminals." Rounder was the first to talk, stating their facts directly.

"Tell me the truth. Our team has been looking for this mastermind, who controlled those Shadow warriors from the past and trying to hunt us down. Why are they attacking us? What's their goal?" Dandylion crossed his arms, demanding like a boss.

"So many questions. You should've start with thank you to us? Remember when we show up to save your sorry lives from those explosions." Rounder reminded the last time they met at the broken bridge, where they used to be saved by them. But it seems Dandylion wasn't pleased of his answers as he clicoed his tongue.

"We don't have time for that nonsense. We just want answers."

"Then answer me this, why are your team started to chase Nezumi down like you're hunting him?" Rounder said in a cold tone.

Dandylion just got a shiver when he saw his serious face and felt his bloodlust. His cold, expressionless but intimidating look reminds Dandylion to know their place and answer truthfully or there will be consequences. However, as a prideful warrior, he won't bow down to anyone and get scared by the famous strategist who used to be group with the Ox warrior.

"That's because he's the suspicious warrior who got involved with those shadow warriors. Not just that, Friendsheep tells that he's responsible for trapping us in that Archipelago Island and yet, that brat forgets it." Dandylion answered in a defeated tone. He tried to make a lie but for some reason, something changed his mind.

He could've swear that his answers were different until Rounder gave him a small smirk, indicating no matter how much he lies, Dandylion will eventually tell the truth in the end.

What a cruel fate, Rounder must have something up on his sleeve.

"I see, we should've send you that evidence if your team started to trust us more but alas.." Rounder sighed back in disappointment.

"What evidence? We didn't get anything from you." Dandylion said as he watched Rounder getting confused.

A moment of silent paused as Rounder thought up with hand on his chin. Then, he glanced back at the War Criminal and gave him a pitiful sigh.

"Well, that's skill issue. If you're a warrior who gathers intel for your team, I suggest you start looking faster otherwise someone will-"

A phone vibrates from his pocket as Rounder got a message. Not only him but Dandylion received a message as well. They looked at each other, wondering why their phones interrupt them at the same time.

So they checked their message and shocked by their response of seeing an image of something they didn't expect.

"Is that?" Rounder glared at his phone. An image of a nurse woman with scratches and markings on her arms around the sewer.

"No way... Doctor Finnish.." Dandylion almost broke his phone when he accidentally clenched it after seeing am image of a woman with a lab coat, who has scratches and shattered glass on her legs.

"Listener... who did this?" Rounder was frustrated to see his comrade going down.

Then, the warriors glare at each other, wondering why their healing member has brought down.

The moment the photos they sent on the message can tell the next plan would be.

A battle between a War Criminal and War Veteran is about to happen.

Meanwhile,

Sashitari never expect the War Veterans are moving to their next phase. And it's Broker for a reason.

He knows that kid is not that person who hurts grown ups and elderly. Those two have been getting along after restoring shelter from the countryside.

Now that Sashitari knows they're hurting the Doctor, he still believe Broker is still innocent and has a purpose that came up from his sleeve.

"That sender is a stranger with an unknown number. I think the Mastermind is moving." Baron Sue said. "I wonder if that War Veteran is on our side."

"In any case, we should leave this place and stop their fight." Sir Cancer ordered as they started to move.

Even their justice instinct is the same as Sashitari's beliefs. The archer relieved they're not falling for the threatening message trap and they still have hope that Broker wouldn't do that.

As soon as they got the documents and files in their bag, they run towards the exit, only to get caught up by an time ticking sound at the last door.

A time bomb that attached from the ceiling as if they shown up out of nowhere. Before the ticking stops, the War Criminals tried to stop the bomb but it was too late.

"Is this-" Sashitari realized that the bomb device is the same weapon decorated by Broker. It could be possible that he started the war.

As they failed to stop the bomb, they never expected to get involved and trapped inside from the very start.

Outside, no one visit the secret facility as their location were held by the government. It was an abandoned place where no one will bother to disturb by unwanted noise.

But now that a certain explosion blasted through that place, the secret facility was no more but burning ashes and fallen debris.

No one knew the fates of three War Criminals, who knows the answer of the Last War, only to get involved by the explosion.

At the Abandoned Building,

"How dare you hurt her, you fiend! You swine stinky bastard!" The female warrior with braids exclaimed as she summoned her Mine bomb ability.

"Wait a second, let me exp.. ggwaahh!" The War Veteran with a silver cape stepped back to avoid those sudden explosions.

Broker, who was a War Veteran and a grandson of the Goat warrior from the Twelfth wars, has been able to dodge her surprise attacks. One more hesitate and he would've fallen to her bombs. What a mess. To think he got involved in this bad timing.

"I've had enough of your games. First, you try to use those shadow warriors to hurt us and now, you went to our Doctor and facing against a disabled person like me? Unforgivable!" Gotou said.

Broker gritted his teeth as he couldn't stop the lady from overusing her abilities. He wasn't expecting her extreme anger could just blow up just because he's trespassing.

The War Veteran wanted to regret his decision of going with Waver but now that it's misunderstanding war against them, he has no choice but to buy some time for his team to evacuate.

Apparently, he was about to pass by the top second floor until he found an injured War Criminal, Doctor Finnish who was lying on the ground, bruised up and her arms have burns like she survived from an arson.

Before Broker checked her injuries, a door suddenly opened and he was met with a bad timing.

An angry disabled young girl with pale skin meet the scenery. The War Criminal of the Capricorn, Go to Heaven and her deadly gaze turns on him like she was seeking for revenge.

Broker took a step back when he heard a ticking sound on the right side. Luckily, the bomb didn't blow up. He was expecting this War Criminal cannot used her explosions when he's closer to the War Criminal's doctor.

He wanted to use the injured but something tells him that Listener would scold him for doing dirty tricks. His team despised his cheats whenever he plays unfairly in battle.

Still, he knew what's best for him. Broker could've guessed meeting this War Criminal is no coincidence. He has a feeling that this Mastermind was behind this and yet,

"Man, you really are pathetic and crazy to fight something like that. We're at the ruins, you bomber maniac! Any explosions could collapse this place and you'll get injured along with your doctor!"

"Shut up! Shut up! You shouldn't pity me, you miserable furry beardo! You think someone with a wheelchair doesn't fear death?! When you hurt our comrades, it's you who has to pay a price!"

Broker attempt to dodge the next attack, jumping from one wall to another and avoiding stepping on time ticking traps.

"Geez this lady has anger issues, I'll give her that. Though, talking with her won't solve anything." Broker was fortunate to study the War Criminals after they stepped inside this country.

If it wasn't for Listener's strict lectures, he wouldn't identify her abilities and he could get straight down to the explosions and die miserably. Thinking about that might lose hi dignity and he won't face his grandfather in the afterlife.

Broker doesn't like dodging all the time and so, he used his small metal pipes and throw them to the mines, which was aim it directly but the bomb won't trigger.

The War Veteran would've expected that Gotou can control when her mine bombs would trigger. It's a perfect sense to know their limits.

This time, he's planning to pretend to fight by throwing more pebbles to the ground, the mine bombs accelerate and change into different location.

His plan for distracting the bombs was success and then, he throws out the small grenade which was supposed to be a stone but it was being covered by the cloth. The War Criminal fell for it and she immediately used the Mine bomb, floating in front from her distance and collided with the grenade.

An explosion blows up but it wasn't strong enough to blow a building.

Gotou and her injured Doctor were saved by her ability that can covers with metalic oval shape shield while Broker was kept at a distance and avoided the bomb.

Still, he can't help but smirk at the sight of ashes blowing around them. In this battle, two warriors who have the power to control destruction weapons that can blow everything.

Life or death, their times of using bombs, traps ans other explosions has been part of the battlefield.

The War Veteran can create bombs while the War Criminal can use an ability to create unlimited bombs.

Two warriors have clashed into an explosive fight where they will find their weak points and set off their traps to lure them at the Abandoned tower.

Broker wondered if they keep this up, they would eventually destroyed this isolated tower. That tower has been his part of his nostalgic memorable place along with his War Veteran comrades.

"Still, the last place I wouldn't want to get killed is this area where Nezumi and I last spoke before that incident." Broker rubbed his head as he didn't want to remind those past times where he got invited to this place.

He used to meet up with Nezumi and the War Veterans after being saved. And it was also the last time to see the Rat warrior before the Last war has ended.

Broker used to believe the Abandoned building is a good place to have lunch and take a rest. After the Last war and survived feom the Plague, he spent time, trying to find a better job when his War Veteran was almost over. He couldn't busy this place, knowing that most of his jobs were on schedule.

Now that the Rat warrior has suddenly appear for ten months, he thought joining with the crowds and spending time in this creepy isolated area would make him feel better.

Until he heard Listener's secret scheme of settling with her former ally, Doctor Finnish. He never thought that woman will use this place to discuss with that War Criminal in private.

So, Broker and Waver decided to check things out and make sure Listener doesn't cause any trouble.

However, to their unexpected twist, they found the War Criminals ganging up on him. Waver and Listener are not inside this building, which means those two might have escaped.

Everything works well with those two but now, the problem is himself.

Broker shouldn't tease and deceive that War Criminal. He doesn't know her ability is a destruction that will blow his memorable place.

"Good grief, looks like I don't have any choice." To save his peaceful special place, Broker equipped his weapon and point his thick sword at Gotou. "Sorry, Nezumi, Rounder, Sashitari and everyone. I have no choice but to fight."

As he heard another ticking sound was heard when he stepped his right foot, he used the thick sword, changing its shape like a pole and he used it to jump higher from a distance.

The bomb triggers and Broker escapes the attack. He held the pole like a spear tightly and threw it right into the War Criminal's pale face.

Unfortunately, Gotou noticed and used her metallic oval shield to avoid that attack, only to discover three grenades have attached to that pole, causing it to explode closer to her shield.

Seeing his traps success, Broker felt proud of using his grandfather's advice of deceiving his opponents. Still, he can't let his guard down.

He can hear the wheels rolling and a silhouette of a disabled warrior appears out of the smoke. Seeing her deadly glare makes him believe he got her scared by his surprised attacks.

Even though he felt bad for this pathetic War Criminal and knew the Mastermind made them do this, Broker can't help but wanted this duel to be over with.

"Well, come and fight me! A battle against Bombers!" Broker finally snapped out as he prepared his grenades. "We'll see who's the last one standing in this isolated place, shall we?!"

"I'm not interested in warrior's duel. I'm taking revenge on you for hurting my Doctor and I won't let you get away! Everyone I talk, I threatened will suffer with my Mines and they will end sickly!" Gotou shouted as she summoned her mine bombs and focused on her target.

"War Criminal of Capricorn, I kill Sickly, Go to Heaven!"

"War Veteran of Goat, I kill Surprisingly, Broker."

The battle between two warriors have commenced in the Abandoned tower. With no one heard their fights in an isolated area, it was only a matter of time before the building might tore apart.

Under the Abandoned Tower,

"Hang on Listener. We're halfway through there."

At the darkest tunnel pit where they can get a secret shortcut to the city.

A young War Veteran named Waver, carries the unconscious comrade, Listener to his back as he run around the sewers.

With all this splashy waters he stepped, Waver knew his chasers are gonna find him.

The War Veteran gritted his teeth and cursed himself for letting his guard down. If only he stopped the Mastermind by coming a bit early, Listener would be fine.

They didn't expect to see her beat up and the fact that they met up with the War Criminals, who suspected they hurt their Doctor.

To prevent from fighting them, he grabs the Nurse, request Broker to handle them while they're running away.

Waver 's priority is to save Listener and he'll do anything to use his powers and keep the War Veteran's promise fulfilled.

As soon as he turned right for another path, Waver stopped when he saw a brick wall blocking the path.

"No way.. a dead end.." Waver shook his head, legs shaking out as if he wants to sat on the dirty puddle, losing hope.

Waver could hear splashing footsteps coming at him. He turned around and saw three people blocking his other path.

"This is the end, War Veteran. Or should I say, the Liberator of the Monkey Clan, Waver. You have some guts to split us up and escape with your fellow comrade." The woman with a bride costume said. She lift her saber fence and threatened him.

"You think you get away with taking our group like that?"

Waver remained cautious, still holding Listener carefully. He observed those three War Criminals are not to be mess with.

He can try to trick them but the moment he saw the Legendary assassin, Skull Pyon, Waver was prepared his plans won't work.

How did this happened?

After that clinic repaired, Waver was bothered by Listener and Doctor Finnish's duel to settle their scores as acquaintance. As a warrior, he respected their privacy and honor bot to interfere their business.

Despite that, he was worried. So he and Broker went to their duel and made it on time to see both warriors were defeated by a mysterious shadow warrior.

They barely know that enemy and the War Veterans fought them, only to disintegrate and lose their existence. At the same time, the War Criminals came by and saw the scene, where Broker stood beside their Doctor.

This gave them a misunderstanding conclusion that the War Veterans hurt their healer member of the War Criminal and now, this calls for another war between them.

Waver immediately understand the Mastermind made this scene and so, he picked Listener and jumped to the bottom pit to run away. He ordered Broker to give them time to stall them and call his team about the situation.

Right now, Waver plans to take her to the hospital to save her but the three war criminals managed to catch up and corner them.

"I don't understand. You actually believe we hurt your Doctor? We just want to settle things and find the Mastermind like you." Waver said.

"Mastermind or not, we believe you guys were trying to trick us. You saved us because you wanted to gain our trust." The person with a maid costume spoke in a masculine serious voice. "But the way you brought our team down and leaving them in this area, you expect we trust you?"

"It's like you're assassinating them. Care to tell your little act, little brat." The War Criminal of Scorpio demanded.

Waver took one step, planning to jump to the side walls as he stared at it. But Skull pyon summoned their scorpion tail and blocked their path.

"You know, running away is futile, young boy. Just surrender and tell us why you're hurting our Doctor?!" Skull pyon replied.

Seeing their disappointed looks wants Waver to use violence to get pass through them but still, he made a promise to Nezumi, Sharyu and Manager not to hurt them.

However, Broker is out there, fighting against those War Criminals on the top while he was about to deal with three.

He was hoping the Rat's ideal plan would work but he's running out of patience. He needs to settle everything.

"Huh? You think I'm running away like a coward?" Waver gritted his teeth as he was frustrated of this situation. "I'm running to save you all! And you know what, I've had enough!"

He stomped the ground, causing to splash high around him to block their view.

It surprised everyone how Waver was standing at the corner in a blink of an eye. He gently placed Listener near the wall in the sitting position.

"Don't worry, Listener. This'll get over soon." Waver whispered as he clenched his fist. "And I'm sorry, I just can't take it."

When he looked back to the War Criminals, he can tell they can handle this fight by their expressions. They were clearly underestimating him.

"I've had enough of playing nice. If you want to settle things score between the War Veterans, you're going to go through me." Waver took a step forward with a fighting pose.

The War Criminals looked at each other before they turned to him.

"As War Criminals, we should honor and call our names before we start the duel." The warrior with a maid costume answered. Waver agrees with a nod. They took a step forward, weapons in hand.

"War Criminal of Virgo, Serves and Kills, Iron May!" The Maid War Criminal said.

"War Criminal of Scorpio, I kill Randomly, Skull Pyon!" The Assassin War Criminal said.

"War Criminal of Taurus, Vows and Kills, Look Me!" The Bride War Criminal said.

"War Veteran of Monkey, I kill with Antics, Waver and-" The Child War Veteran said.

Waver raised his hands and touched the ground, making the splashes swirl around him.

The War Criminals were cautious as they started to attack before he could do anything.

What they didn't expect is the next thing when the splashes covered his form, forcing to step them back from that strong wind.

As the swirling splash have faded, they widened their eyes as they saw a different person from before.

That War Veteran was a child with a warrior's will but to them, they asked themselves whether their eyes are deceiving or not.

They wondered who and how did Waver change himself into an adult form.

The moment he took one step, the War Criminals shook their body and accidentally dropped their weapons.

"What is happening?" The aura is too strong for them. Look Me, the War Criminal of Taurus noticed she was sitting helplessly, wondering why her eyes are scared.

Not just her, but her companions were driven in fear as they couldn't move to fight back.

The War Veteran with a new form started to get closer as his body suddenly got steamed. He was started to pump up as he clenched his fist and ready to fight while the War Criminals were stunned because of his intense aura.

"And the battle is already over."

At Midnight,

The Department store usually closed at midnight except, a small Cheese store opens in 24 hours everyday and most staff took their turns to take over their job. The woman knew this store is busy at night because of overworked people living nearby. They often go to this store and drink some cheap coffees and dairy products.

How convenient. If only the real Manager shows up today, he would be delighted to promote this store and expand their business.

But sometimes, their peaceful moments will last long when a certain group of people will be coming soon.

The woman already got informed by their leader that they will come. Those who can't be called as allies but as someone with an audacity to bring their weapons in this quiet night.

One of them has a criminal record of destroying buildings and the others looked at the staff with such glare eyes.

The current staff manager, Whisper, who was working two weeks from now, calls her team to go home early while she stays here, in charge of cleaning this store.

She wasn't mean the word about cleaning this store but, she prefers to clean from those trespassers coming inside.

Once the midnight strikes and the staff are already gone, The War Veteran snapped her finger and held a metal bat weapon.

"So you've arrived." Whisper looked at the War Criminal with a white hood and said, "I see you brought an Arsonist. Mind telling me why you visit this place in the middle of the night?"

"I demand an explanation. Tell us why your team attacked our Healer?" The Tall Blond War Criminal asked as he showed a picture of an injured Doctor with a companion, Broker beside.

W2 and M2 knew this War Veteran used to save them from that bomb infiltration at their previous hotel. But they never expect to lure this cover and faking it just to get their sinister plan to hunt them one by one. The picture with an Injured Doctor Finnish was real, Friendsheep send their message and claimed those War Veterans are moving.

Upon seeing that news, Muppet Bottle grabbed his water hose and stormed outside while the twins followed him. And that's where they'll start hunting the War Veterans at the Cheese store. All for the Doctor's life and their revenge for messing with them.

"Tell us, War Veteran. Otherwise-" M2 smashed his morning star to the ground, breaking the rocky street. "We'll force you to speak!"

"..."

The War Criminals waited for the response but the War Veteran remained calm and quiet. The woman let out a sigh and curled her hair, dropping her metal bat. Then, she finally

"Very well. I would gladly speak but" Whisper pointed the back alley and continued, "Shall we speak somewhere in private other than here?"

"You... You think discussing us will keep you Alive when you hurt our Doctor?!" M2 suddenly charged first to attack the War Veteran. He swing his Morning Star and broke the Metal Bat, leaving the woman in surprised.

"So rash... just what I expect from you.." Whisper curled her lips with a calm face as she picked the small fragment pieces inside the Metal bat and threw it to the ground.

Suddenly, a bright light surrounds M2 and White smokes spread around them.

"What's happening?" M2 watched as the white smokes succumbs his body and warps him inside the light.

"Little Brother!" W2 came to reach his hand but she was affected by the smoke and warps alongside him inside. Even Mupple Bottle from far distance was affected by the smoke and got transfer to the light.

As soon as they teleport from that strange weapon and that smoke, they bright light stopped and they opened their eyes, only to find they were standing in the grassy field with the morning light.

The War Criminals wondered where they are. They were supposed to be standing at midnight and then, they got mixed up by the smoke and transported to another place. By the looks of it, they knew this place is fake and that bright light was responsible for that.

"Finally, somewhere privately." They followed a voice from the War Veteran, who stood behind them with a calm smile.

"Welcome to my Dream Domain." Whisper said as she spread her arms. "Sorry to give you surprise. I'm allergic to spoiled long topics. I'm sure most of you wanted to ask but I prefer to settle in a quiet place."

"And you plan to trap us here, for hunting us one by one? I don't think that's working." W2 said, aiming her crossbow at the War Veteran.

"Unfortunately not. Believe me, I'm taking you here to ask your reasons for coming to this store. I have a feeling your friend would burn our precious shelter. I wonder if your Doctor would like it."

Whisper glared at Mupple Bottle, who prepared his water bucket and hose. Then, she sighed back and accepted their situation with a disappoint look.

"Anyways, results won't be the same. Do you know Why?" She suddenly held an advanced weapon, transforming into a metal Hammer."Because we share the same goal."

"We saved your lives but in turn, you hurt our Medic warrior. Do you know how we embraced ourselves to not killing you for the sake of Manager and the Champion's will?! Do you know how much time we waited to have faith in you guys?! And now.. all of you turned our backs and fight us again... Just why? I want answers too, War Criminals" Whisper's bloodlust began to fire up as her Metal Hammer began to charge.

"Medic Warrior? You think we hurt your Nurse?" Mupple Bottle asked.

"Who knows. Maybe we'll uncover that. To who among us will win this fight and tell the truth. That's for the Warrior's will to fight!"

"War Veteran of Libra, Order and Kill, Whisper!" The woman swings his Hammer, forcing the wind to blow them.

"War Criminal of Gemini, Kill with no Other Choice, Double Mind!" The twins said at the same time as they avoid that attack.

"War Criminal of Aquarius, Kills by Wet, Muppet Bottle!" The White cloak man used his ability to shape his water and charge at his target.

And so, the battle of four warriors has finally commence in a strange battlefield. They exchange their blows and counters them. A Three to One warrior battle wasn't unfair. But what the War Criminals didn't know was the strange weapon that Whisper lured them.

The Battlefield is a Dream Space where they won't get out unless...

Unless three people must be killed to allow one person to wake up. If they can't do it, they will remain inside the dream and never wake up. Currently in the real world, the four warriors have already been laying down in the back alley while the Cheese store remains open with staff returning and staying normal.

They didn't know a dream fight was already happening and Whisper the War Veteran made them fight peacefully and trap them inside the dream, she was planning to comatose them right from the start.

Even if she lost the battle, the War Criminals will never escape from the Dream and that's where she'll make her move to reduce her enemies and support her comrades.

Back at the Underground Tunnel,

"Unbelievable…" Look Me struggled to get up and her body was already weakened from the beat up. She couldn't move but her eyes can see the last person standing.

"This kid.."

"Like I said, the battle is already over. You weaklings got lost because of me."

Over there, the young War Veteran, who looked like a naive and easy target to deal with, was actually a strong competitive and tall man who has big muscles and menacing aura. Look Me didn't saw how the battle went out.

Unlike her ability to create clones with her blood, Waver has an ability to change their age and the weapon their holding, which is the power of his blood to quickened their growth.

When Skull Pyon unleashed their speed and attack with their deadly claws, Waver immediately punched their armor and breaking them with his strong fist, thus throwing them to the wall and knocked them out in one shot.

The next person to get hit was Iron May. Just before he used his broom to sneak his back, Waver has already noticed his next move and he used his pressure to warm his body, releasing his steam and spread his smoke.

Iron May tried to find him but a strong spear swings in his neck and knocked him out. Then, Waver kicked him that forced his body to be falling next to Skull Pyon.

The Last one was Look Me. She observed how faster this War Veteran has got. She was hoping to find his weakness but to her fall down, she looked into his eyes and her mind was started to get frightened by his aura. Her body won't move as he stepped closer until he raised his hand and slapped her cheek, sending her to the wall next to her fallen comrades.

She didn't expect they got lose so easily by a kid turning into a strong warrior. The War Criminal of Taurus felt that Waver is taking this battle seriously as he leaned to her and grabbed her horns, smashing them with just a clench of his fist.

Waver goes out to destroy Iron May's broom and Skull Pyon's remaining armor into tiny pieces.

There was no left for them. No weapons, no powers, no strength and will to fight.

"That's how it shows the strongest side will show no mercy to the weaker side." Waver with a deep masculine voice spoke.

This is when Look Me learned this situation that death is coming closer. They are going to die by the hands of them. It was originally part of Sir Cancer's plan to commit suicide if their plan goes well. But now that things change and how she got a new job to stay alive until their team knows their truth, she started to get scared of losing her team's hope.

Look Me was terrified of death. Iron May and Skull Pyon are scared of death. They wished to have a new purpose in life and they got ordered by their leader not to die yet until they settle the score along with the Mastermind.

"Criminals don't deserve to live in this world. I say punishing you will put an ease to us since your group were the reason the Mastermind's moving and hunting us down." An Adult Waver grabbed her hair and looked her in his serious eyes, "I know killing you will make him sad. If only... if only you didn't hunt Nezumi down. You guys would've repaid his debt for saving you from that Artificial Island and that Endless war. I guess none of that applies to your heartless criminal acts."

The War Criminal shook her eyes of what he told her. She tried to force her lips to move, to say something, to beg the War Veteran for another chance, to asks him about the Rat Warrior's act but the man's eyes were full of hatred, wishes to get this battle over.

"No… wait…"

"Die."

The moment his fist collide with her face, a hand suddenly grips in Waver's wrist, forcing him to stop his actions.

"Let go of me." He turned to the person, who was gripping his hand tightly. "You know, I would've done this right from the beginning, you would've done the same, Eleventh."

"This fight is over, Waver." The man gripped his hand through force while Waver tried to push his fist to the War Criminal's face without mercy.

"Don't stop me, Eleventh… this is unfair. Everything is unfair." Waver was frustrated as he shared his emotions.

"We tried everything to get our peaceful life back! We didn't stop him! We couldn't protect his Mentor and now, they're blaming his existence even though he's the one who secretly helps them! How is his life so unfair?!"

"That's right." Eleventh sounds calm and Waver was pissed off that he tried to pull his fist away from his grasp but it was not working.

"And you. You shouldn't stop me!" Waver shouted and tried to break free but Eleventh didn't let him go.

"I said Enough, Waver." The War Veteran answered sincerely. "Police are coming and Listener needs medical attention. Do you want to let her die over this pointless act? Or do you wish to continue and break their promise?" He turns to the fallen War Criminals and continued,

"I won't stop you from hurting them but your actions will repeat the same thing. History will repeat itself. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about."

Waver and Eleventh looked at each other in a moment of silence until the big man sighed and nodded back.

"Hmph.. fine. I understand." Waver released Look Me's hair as he dropped her down and released her.

Eleventh watched the big man Waver deactivate his ability by letting his steam out and losing his growth. Once the smoke was cleared out, his body was returned back to a child he used to.

"I'm sorry about this mess. I can't believe I fell over the Mastermind's trap again." Waver rubbed his head and chuckled with an awkward laugh.

"It's because you have some anger issues, kid." Eleventh made a karate chop in his head, which the child warrior felt upset and growled as he raised his annoyance on his companion.

"Ouch! I know that so stop teasing me, Eleventh!" Waver can tell this guy is ignoring him. "Come on, let's take Listener and get out of here. You carry her because you were late!"

"Whatever." Eleventh find him annoying as a brat but he obeys his command as he held the nurse warrior in his arms as gently as possible. He turned to the fallen War Criminals and asked, "And what about them?"

"Oh.. them?" Waver turned his eyes to the enemies who got defeated in shame and he had thought about his decision. " I know they're not responsible for Listener's injuries because they're weak. Maybe leaving them was a good idea. They started this fight anyway."

"Your words are as savage as the title says." Eleventh sighed back.

"Hey! My title as a Liberator has gotten nothing to do with this. It's true I'm trying to liberate them but.. not like that.." Waver crossed his arms.

He looked at them one more time, observing if they're alive.

On the other hand, Iron May the War Criminal of Virgo, was already awakened with beat up bruise and broken injuries. He couldn't move his body and his mouth can't speak. All he does now is watching and hearing the War Veteran's conversations.

Times like this, he wants to take revenge for getting defeated by them but now that they lost, he decided to let it slide and wait for their departure. He took a closer glimpse and heard one last mutter from the victor who made them lost.

"In truth.. I spared them because I still believe… Nezumi has faith on them... if.. if only they.. I mean, all members of the War Criminals can find the real mastermind."

What does that mean to them? The Rat warrior, the person they observed and hunted down believes they can find this mastermind? Iron May doesn't understand this.

"I can't hear you. What are you trying to say again?" Eleventh asked as he watched his friend's face getting boiled up and embarrassed.

"It's nothing! Let's go. Come on!"

Only Iron May could hear the victor's wandering words and he could tell he wasn't lying since he didn't share with his friends. If they know about it, why can't they tell the War Criminals about that?

Maybe something happened that forced the mastermind to get away with this.

Still, Iron May wouldn't let it slide. The War Criminals must do something about this.
