Part 2: "Between Iron and Truth"

After Endgame , Tony survives thanks to a technological-magical fusion designed by Shuri and Zatanna ( and overseen by Diana ). He lives in a lakeside cabin with Morgan… and Diana.

They're an odd family. She teaches Morgan how to fight gracefully. Tony teaches him how to hack drones with a tablet. Diana and Tony have philosophical discussions amid kisses and sarcasm.

But not everything is perfect.

"Will you ever stop fighting?" she asks.
"Will you ever stop carrying the world's history?" he replies.

Sometimes they distance themselves. Because she fears that love will weaken her. And he fears that he's not enough for a goddess.

Until Morgan, with his 8 years of wisdom, interrupts them during an argument.

—Will you stop acting like you're alone? You're not here anymore. You have a family. You have… me.

And at that moment, Tony takes her hand. Diana takes the other.

"I never thought a daughter would teach me how to be brave," she says.
"I do," Tony says. "Mine does it every day."

And that night, he gives her a ring made of tempered vibranium and a small blue sapphire: a promise, not of perfection… but of staying.
