Part 3: "The World We Left"
Years later, Tony Stark isn't Iron Man. But he's still building. Diana doesn't carry a sword, but she still protects. Morgan is 17 and a dangerous mix of sarcasm, strength, and compassion. And now... it's her turn to choose.
"Are you going to be a heroine?" Tony asks.
"Or a queen?" Diana asks.
Morgan answers:
—It's going to be me. But with armor designed by Dad… and trained by Mom.
The world no longer needs Avengers. But it does need Legacies.
And when Morgan flies for the first time in golden armor, with wings similar to Asteria's and a Stark power core... Diana and Tony watch from the hill.
"Do you think we did the right thing?" she asks.
"No.
" "So...?
" "We did the impossible. And we survived."
And when she rests her head on his shoulder, and he intertwines his fingers with hers, there is no longer any doubt.
This wasn't the world they dreamed of. But it's the world they built. Together.
