Hello, my loves! I'm finally back with this chapter for our favorite royal couple, and it's one we've been waiting for! I've decided to tell the story of their wedding, and more importantly, wedding night separately. That will allow for a more robust couple of chapters for the honeymoon. HeeHee!

As always, so much love to my girls ClaymoreQueen6176, GoldenGirl1920, wwechristina and HavenMoon1369 for your continued support and reviews. And thank you to anyone that has enjoyed my writing and favorited this or any of my stories. Your support means the world to me!

Now, who is ready to see these two lovebirds hitched? I know I do! Let's witness the nuptials of Drew and Leslie. Enjoy!

Leslie POV

The walk from the castle to the chapel felt like I was walking on a cloud. The early May sun shining with a brisk breeze that felt like it carried me here and sat me down at the front doors. Now, I'm standing here in the front room awaiting the cue to enter, arm in arm with King Sheamus. Becky had accompanied me on the walk, as did my dear cousin, Alba.

I had not seen her since I left Scotland in my teens. It was so amazing catching up with her and her brother, Joe, and sister, Isla, who was named after my mother. They brought with them some McLean family heirlooms for the wedding and for me to keep. Both lovely ladies have the Fraser family trait of red hair from my mother's side of the family.

Joe, blonde and beefy, informed me that Drew had offered and he had accepted a high ranking in his Army. His position: my personal bodyguard. I rolled my eyes at this, but I know Drew has a protective streak, so I will not come down too hard on him, even if my independent nature shudders at this development.

As they left to allow me to finish dressing, Joe winked at me and smiled, "Cousin, all you have to do is say my name and I'll appear."

In the waiting room, they all kissed and hugged me as they left to take their places inside, leaving me alone with Sheamus. These butterflies in my tummies have multiplied by a million as I wait to walk down the aisle. I take a deep breath and catch a glimpse of my protector and friend. He's giving me a curious grin and shaking his head. There is still a strange tension between us after the events of this morning.

I wonder aloud, "What is it?"

He shrugs, "Ah nothing. Just so ye know, I apologized to the muppet fer my shenanigans earlier. And…I wanna apologize to you, lass. The last thing I ever wanted was to hurt ye and make ye feel shame. I'm just…I'm sad about losing ye. Castle O'Shaunessy is gonna be a lonely place without yer bright presence around."

I immediately tear up at his beautiful words and smile, "Oh Sheamus. I'm going to miss you too. So very much. But I will still be the consort between our countries. We will still be in contact, and we'll see each other as often as possible. You're not getting rid of me that easily."

He chuckles as I pat him on the arm, "Aye, lass. I know. By the way, I sent word to have yer things brought here, like yer clothes and such."

I look down, then back up into his caring hazel eyes, "Thank you, Sheamus. And I don't just mean about sending my belongings. I don't know what I would've done without your care and guidance all these years. You didn't have to take me in as your ward, but you did. You didn't have to take care of me and make me a trusted member of your inner circle, but you did. I will be forever thankful to you for everything you've done for me and my family."

He collects me into his strong arms for a tight father like embrace. It's taking all my willpower not to break down and cry in this moment. I will truly miss his jovial, sweet spirit in my life every day. I had not taken this into account when I accepted Drew's whirlwind proposal of marriage. Although I'm getting my heart's desire, there is a part of it that is breaking.

He pulls back slightly and cups my cheek, thumbing away a stray tear, "Ah, lass. Yer so wise beyond yer young years. The best way ye can thank me is live the happiest and best life with the man ye love. That's all I've ever wanted fer ye."

I nod my head as my bottom lip quivers, "I will. I promise."

The strains of the minstrels and bagpipes start to stir with the bridal music and my breath catches in my throat as Sheamus takes my arm, "It's time, lass. Let's go get ye hitched to this muppet King."

I smile as Becky opens the door to the chapel. I step in and take in the scene of beautiful flowers around the congregation of smiling, familiar faces. But then, I lock eyes with him, the love of my life, my future husband, the King of my heart, and everything else fades away. Oh my gods, he looks so incredibly handsome wearing my favorite color! I feel like I'm floating on that cloud again, this time down the aisle to my destiny.

Drew POV

Jesus Christ! Have I died and gone to heaven? This is the most beautiful vision my eyes will ever behold. My Sweet coming down the aisle to me, clad in the light pink dress from my Mum's bridal portrait, looking like the Queen she has always been to me. Nothing I ever dared to dream could ever compare to this. I nearly forget to breathe as she stands before me with a bouquet of thistles and dahlias with sprigs of heather mixed in for luck.

I exhale and smile at her as I mouth, "My beautiful Sweet!"

My eyes are staying locked on those gorgeous green orbs as the officiant says, "Who gives this woman to be wedded to this man?"

Sheamus steps up besides Leslie and proclaims. "I, King Sheamus O'Shaunessy of Ireland, gives the hand of my ward, Leslie Catriona McLean, to King Andrew McLean McIntyre of Scotland." He leans into Leslie and gives her a kiss on the forehead, "Be happy, my dear lass."

She blinks away a tear, "I will, my friend."

Sheamus turns to me and extends his hand, "Take great care of my precious jewel, McIntyre. She's a rare one."

I put my hand in his for a handshake and say as he pulls me in for a hearty hug, "Aye, always."

As Sheamus takes his leave for a seat in the front row, Leslie hands her bouquet to Becky. She turns to me and immediately take her by the hands, placing a kiss on her knuckles. She gives me that bright, stunning smile. I can tell she's struggling not to tear up. I am in the same place. The two of us making it here is a miracle that I'll never take for granted.

Leslie POV

Everything feels like a whirlwind. The minister has bound our hands together with a tartan sash to represent our bond. We drank from a two-handled quaich to symbolize our union. He has spoken words but all I can hear Is the beating of my heart. Looking at the most handsome man in the world standing beside me is overwhelming.

Before I know it, it is time for our vows. Drew squeezes my hands as his voice quivers, "My dear Leslie, you are the star of each night, you are the brightness of every morning, you are the story of each guest, you are the report of every land. No evil shall befall you, on hill nor bank, in field or valley, on mountain or in glen. Neither above, nor below, neither in the sea, nor onshore, in skies above, nor in the depths. You are the kernel of my heart, you are the face of my sun, you are the harp of my music, you are the crown of my company."

He places the ring on my finger, his strong hands trembling in excitement, "You are Blood of my Blood, and Bone of my Bone. I give you my Body, that we Two might be One. I give you my Spirit, til our Life shall be Done. My Queen, my love, my heart, my Sweet. I'll love you until the end of time."

I'm having trouble controlling my emotions as I start my vows to him, "Oh Drew! I vow you the first cut of my meat, the first sip of my wine, from this day it shall only your name I cry out in the night and into your eyes that I smile each morning; I shall be a shield for your back as you are for mine, never shall a grievous word be spoken about us, for our marriage is sacred between us and no stranger shall hear my grievance. Above and beyond this, I will cherish and honor you through this life and into the next."

As I slide the ring on his finger, those wells in my eyes that have been threatening to spill over do just that, "Andrew, you are Blood of my Blood, and Bone of my Bone. I give ye my Body, that we Two might be One. I give ye my Spirit, til our Life shall be Done. My King, the love of my love, my heart. I'll love you until the end of time."

Drew smiles with those deep dimples as the officiant proclaims, "Now it is time for the King to officially crown his Queen. Leslie Catriona McLean, kneel before the King."

I sink to my right knee and bow my head. Drew takes the McIntyre family heirloom claymore as the minister drizzles the shiny metal with holy water. I sigh as he grasps the hilt and touches the blade to each of my shoulders. He lifts it to the front of his face, whispering a silent prayer up to the heavens. He hands the sword back to Noam on his right hand side.

The minister asks, "Leslie Catriona McLean, do you swear to cherish your King, keep a loving home, provide him with heirs and serve the kingdom of Scotland for the rest of your days?"

I nod without hesitation, "Aye, I will."

He turns to Drew and repeats, "King Andrew McLean McIntyre, do you swear to cherish your Queen, provide her with a loving home, give her heirs and serve the kingdom of Scotland for the rest of your days?"

He exhales as he answers, "Aye, I swear."

Drew smirks at me as he reaches for my hands. I put them in his strong grasp as the officiant proclaims, "You knelt as Leslie Catriona McLean. You will now rise as Queen Leslie McIntyre of Scotland."

I pull myself up to stand face to face and heart to heart with the man I have love for my entire life. In that all too brief moment, it's as if the entire world melts away, leaving only us in our love for each other. This is it. We actually did it. We are married! Drew grins at me and cradles my cheek in his warm hand. I can't contain my giddy laughter in the perfect moment.

The officiant concludes, "May joy and peace surround you both, contentment latch your door, and happiness be with you now, May God Bless you Evermore. May you live your life with trust, nurture lifelong affection, your lifelong dreams come true for you, move ever in that direction. With that, I allow me to announce, by the power vest in me by the Church and the Kingdom of Scotland, that you and man and wife, King and Queen. King Andrew, you may…

Drew doesn't give him the chance to finish. He steps to me as quickly as possible and takes my lips in the most perfect lover's kiss. As the congregation cheers, our tongues meld and our hearts are set afire. We bask in our love and yearning for each other in this moment where we are finally where we should've been all along. Together, in love and married. As we press our faces together in happiness, wet with our tears of joy, nothing and no one will ever tear me away from Drew ever again.
