Okay, so you win this is chapter two. I got inspired. Quick note of housekeeping:

The pronouns may feel weird here if you've never experienced dysphoria and that self discovery journey. This isnt the blueprint, this is just how I remember experiencing this.

Lee is a Transman and a wolf and Bella is human here.

Please stop DMing me about commissions. I'm dirt poor and simply can't afford it. I don't mind answering questions, but I will not be able to afford any commission work anytime soon. Thank you for your offers, but in the future I may have to just start deleting those messages so I'm not sending the same response over and over.

Thank you again, I dont own twilight, enjoy!

For the first time in several months, Lee woke slowly. His heartbeat was even as he took a mental assessment of himself. It was an old habit that died hard, as he had been very accident prone before his first shift (the vampires thought Bella was bad… Lee very well could have given her a run for her money back in the day), he just always felt the need to make sure he wasn't in any mystery pain. No pain… the tight band that felt like it had been around his heart was gone. He felt a weight on top of him and took a deep breath.

Vanilla, brown sugar, oranges and just a hit of engine oil that always seemed to be on the backend of her scent.

Bella.

Lee let out his breath in a relieved sigh, tightening his arms around his mate as she snuggled into him, still asleep and drooling on his chest. Her arms were wrapped tightly around him, one tucked under his back with her hand on the crook of his neck, the other around his waist. Even in her sleep, Bella was holding him tightly enough he would have bruised if he was still human. Her leg was tucked between his, locking him entirely in. As firmly as she was holding, her face was the picture of peace, jaw slack, hair wild and falling around her face, shoulders and some was even in Lee's face, and snores that rivaled his own sounded from her chest.

She was beautiful, and he was utterly and completely in love with her.

Lee planted a soft kiss on her head and remembered when he had first met her.

"Leah!" Seth was running down the beach in his trunks, grinning ear to ear. "You hear about the new girl?" Leah sighed, lifting her head to look at him. For reasons she was… unsure about and was simply going to put a pin in, she refused to wear a swim suit of any kind, instead opting for shorts and a t-shit. Hell, contrary to her dripping brother, she was bone dry.

"The rez hasn't had any new people in months, no kids have been born," Leah deadpanned, genuinely not thinking about the main town.

Seth let out a boisterous laugh. " No, dumbass. In forks. Chief Swan's kid."

Leah racked her brains, trying to find information on Charlie's kid in her mind and came up with only one small piece. "The girl that played with Jacob when we were kids?"

"Yeah, Bella. She came to see Jacob." Loud shouting and splashes sounded to their left and they both turned to look, seeing the local "gang" were cliff diving. Seth sighed. "I miss when Paul wasn't such a dick…"

"I would, but he was always kind of a dick." Leah rolled her eyes and laid back again.

"I take it you're over Sam?"

Leah snorted. "He cheated on me with my own cousin. If you can't be man enough to tell me you're done with me, especially if you're going to keep it in the family, then you're not worth my time, or my heartache." Leah took a moment to look at the man in question, who was coming out of the water. He saw her and waved, and she turned away with no emotion. "I'd say fuck em, but apparently Emily is doing just fine on that."

Seth choked on the soda he was drinking, some shooting out of his nose as his body now struggled between laughing and pain. Once he got that sorted he shook his head. "My point was, would you like to meet her? She seems pretty cool, and Jacob was just warning her about Asshat and his crew when I came to get you." Leah shrugged and got up, shaking off her towel and tossing it onto her shoulder.

"Fuck it, lets see what all the fuss is about."

Seth grinned. "Jacobs shop. Race ya!" and just like that, he took off down the sand.

"Jackass!" Leah yelled as she took off after him. He had a head start in the sand but as soon as her feet hit the gravel she took off, tearing down the road. Running was her jam, she excelled in it, and easily beat him to the shop.

Ya know… it's the stopping that got her usually and today was no exception. Leah was lucky, the door to the shop was open. Leah was also very unlucky, because there was an unseen dip in the lawn that managed to catch her foot just right, tripping her and sending her flying through the doorway… directly into the girl that was in the shop with Jacob. She yelped, they both did, falling into a heap on the floor.

"Bella?!" Jacob shot out from beneath the car, an old Rabbit, to see what the commotion was. Leah groaned and pushed herself up, looking down at who was clearly Bella. "Leah?! What the hell, man!" Jacob grabbed the back of her shirt and yanked her up, setting her on her feet before he pulled Bella to her feet as well. Leah rubbed the back of her neck.

"Sorry, Bella? Was it? Uhm. Yeah, I'm a bit clumsy. I'm sorry I knocked you over like that."

Bella blushed. "It's okay, I'm pretty clumsy too. Are you okay?" Her eyes searched Leah's body, and now it was her turn to blush. Why were those golden brown eyes so… piercing?

"I'm fine, I should be asking you the same question!" Leah looked her over, seeing only a couple scrapes.

"Leah, this is my best friend, Bella. Bella, this is my annoying friend Leah."

"Screw you, Black, I'm your favorite. Bella only got upgraded to Favorite because she's way prettier and you're a teenage boy." Leah smirked, jabbing a thumb into her chest and watching Jacob stammer. Bella let out a laugh and snort.

"Oh, god dammit, you two are going to team up on me!"

Lee smiled at the memory. They had grown close over that year, which was particularly devastating when Jacob went through his first shift. He refused to speak to either of them for months, and it led to them growing closer and leaning on each other. Jacob had apparently visited Bella in the dead of night, looking like he was taking all of the steroids and having chopped his hair off. He was angry, told her to stay away from the Cullens (uhm… okay?), and left in a huff. It wasn't long after that, Lee and Bella had shared their first kiss. They hadn't seen it coming, but apparently many others had. His mother was shockingly supportive, just wanting her kids to both be happy. His father… it took him time to come around.

Then Seth shifted.

Unbeknownst to them, Bella was being hunted. Some vampire had come through the area and caught Bella's scent. He had been dead set on getting her, no matter the cost. The increase in actual vampires, plus the closer proximity of the Cullens as they worked with the pack to deal with the threat, had triggered an early shift in his brother. Seth and Lee (pre-transition) had been fighting. Usually these argument got intense but died down, and Seth was always the one to de-escalate. Not this time. He seemed to grow angrier and angrier, shaking violently even after Leah had conceded to try to calm him down. Without much time to react, Seth had hunched over, grabbing his head and chest before his body seemed to explode violently outward. Lee had jumped back and, to everyone's shock, as their parents ran out to see what was happening Lee's body also exploded. Before them were two enormous wolves, one a sandy blonde, and the other storm grey. Lee's head was suddenly full of voices.

Hey, Seth changed early! That was Paul!

I'm not surprised, Quil and Embry changed a few days ago. Sam, Lee could see through his eyes as he changed course, running toward them.

What the fuck…

LEAH?! Jacob was stunned, and slammed to a stop.

Harry, their father, had a heart attack from the shock. He knew the wolf gene was there, but no female had ever shifted. For some reason that was enough to send him into a cardiac episode. Luckily, the doctors were able to save him.

Then Sam showed up. By the time he'd gotten there, Lee and Seth had both changed back, stunning Sam.

"The fuck you mean you did it alone?" Sam shook and paced.

"We weren't alone, we had each other and you could see in our heads." Leah in that moment realized something. "OH MY GOD, YOU CAN SEE INTO OUR HEADS!" They racked their brain, hoping they hadn't accidentally shown the two guys anything about Bella and their… personal adventures.

"Yeah… about that. You'll need to stay away from Bella until you get a handle on yourself."

Leah froze, letting out a snarl.

"I dare you to try to stop me, asshole."

"Don't make me do this, Leah."

"What, you think I'll hurt her? I would never put a fucking finger on her she didn't want!"

"Yeah, I said that, too. But you've seen Emily's face."

Leah froze again, a cold shock of realization washing through their body. "They said a bear did that." As angry as Leah had been, even for a moment, any anger left in her had vanished the day she saw Emily's injuries. She had been bandaged heavily for months, given medications and stitches and still to this day her face was marred by horrid scars. Her facial muscles were damaged beyond repair, and she no longer should properly move the scarred side of her face.

"That was the story."

"It was you." It wasn't a question, and Sam ignored the shudder the traveled down his spin.

"Yes. I regret it every day, but it's a reminder never to-oof!" the air left his lungs in a moment as his ex's foot slammed, with the force only a wolf could provide, into his nuts. Seth and Jacob, who had joined them after a bit, both shot a hand in front of their junk like they were the next target.

"Hey Seth, he said anger causes shifting right?" Leah seethed, her body shook slightly, a tremor if anything, as she snarled.

"Uh huh." Seth realized quickly everyone was safe and started eating his cookie again.

"Funny, cuz I am pretty. Fuckin. Pissed right now, and I'm not shifting. I'm going to go see my girlfriend, and you can't stop me." She turned on her heel and walked calmly out the door.

"Lee, wait up!" Jacob followed, and smiled at her. "Listen, I want to warn you about something. We have this thing. It's called Imprinting. You know the fiction soulmate bullshit in books?" He continued walking beside his friend as he spoke.

"Yeah, mates and shit?"

"That's Imprinting for us. It's going to feel like chains, holding you to earth. But it's not earth anymore. It's her. There's this band around your heart, it feels tight if you're not near them. Imprints are our… countermeasures? I don't know how else to explain it. We're so angry all the time, and our Imprints are supposed to be our boone, the calm in the storm. We can't live without them, but they're supposed to be super rare to find." Jacob took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "You'll know instantly when you find them though."

Leah… no, he had called her Lee, and she liked that a lot better. Lee furrowed their brow. "Why are you telling me this?"

Jacob grinned as he started walking backwards, letting Lee continue alone. "A hunch. I'll hold Sam off while you go talk to your girl." And with that, Jacob had taken off, and Lee didn't waste any time, taking off at a full sprint toward Bella's house.

Bella stirred in his arms and he rubbed her back, kissing her softly on the top of her head and feeling her body relax more against him. Lee kept his lips against the top of her head, just taking in the feeling of her in his arms as he felt her kiss his chest and fall back to sleep against him again. His heart fluttered. This beautiful woman chose him and no imprint could ever change that. He was absolutely positive, if she hadn't been his Imprint, he would never have Imprinted at all.

Lee panted a little as they stopped at the front door of the Swan residence. Supernatural creature or not, Lee wasn't a fuckin animal. They never understood the tree climbing thing she told him Edward and Jacob had done. Lee blinked at the mental gendering they had done and plopped that in the "I'll deal with it later" box, knocking on their girlfriend's door.

"I wonder who that is," Leah heard Charlie sigh, the chair creaking as he started to get up before Leah smelled something getting stronger. Vanilla, brown sugar, and oranges.

"I got it, Charlie!" Bella called before she pulled the door open, grinning ear to ear at the sight of her girlfriend before she took in the sight fully. Leah was… different. Bella and Leah had been the same height, give or take, yesterday. Today Leah was 6' tall, bare minimum, every ounce of baby fat had left her body, leaving behind hard muscles and she just… radiated heat. Bella met her eyes and Leah looked completely lost, frazzled and… amazed?

"Leah, baby, are you okay?"

Bella opening the door wasn't a shock, nor was her stunning grin, the messy bun, or the comfortable pajamas. It was Bella's day off of both school and work. No, the shock was from the emotions that coursed through Leah in that moment their eyes met.

You know that moment you're in the ocean, back to the waves as you start to come back? You know waves could happen, but you're still caught off guard if the waves are big enough.

This? This was a tsunami. In an instant Lee cared little about their family, the reservation, the town, or themselves.

Bella…

She was beautiful, Lee was more than aware of that but… she was glowing. It almost felt physical, the bond that formed in that moment. He was powerless to stop himself as he pulled her up into his arms, burying his nose in her neck and holding her body to his like if he let go, she would vanish. It felt like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders.

Bella held onto Leah tightly, running her fingers through her hair and planting soft kisses on her girlfriend's shoulders.

Leah explained everything that day. Bella knew of Vampires, she'd done her own research after Edward had dosed up his creep factor. He had since stopped, what with her being around wolves so much but it had still been a problem. Bella, for her part, had taken the news very well. She had questions, of course, but overall had a good reaction. Eventually, while they cuddled in bed and Bella made jokes about no longer needing to worry about a blanket, she had asked her last questions.

"So… Vampires have mates."

"Yes," Lee breathed, having been too chicken shit to bring this up himself. What if she didn't want forever with him?

"Do Werewolves have something like that?" Bella sounded worried. Have no fear, my angel…

"Yes, we Imprint. It happens the moment our eyes meet, and the wolf feels like their entire being is tethered to their mate. Their Imprint. You want nothing more than their happiness, and you would do anything for them, even to your own detriment. It very rarely comes to that, but that can even mean if their Imprint does not want them, whether as a friend, a brother or a mate, the wolf would rather die than harm their mate." The words left the wolf's lips in a whisper, and Bella's hand roamed to Lee's chest, setting a hand over their heart.

"We locked eyes earlier."

"Yes."

"Did you Imprint?" Bella lifted her upper body to look Lee in the eyes. Black eyes met golden brown.

"Immediately. I'm yours, as long as you'll have me."

Bella surged forward, catching her wolf in a searing kiss.

Lee couldn't help the grin as he remembered it. To think he had ever been nervous about telling Bella. It's like she was made for his world. She gave any shit the boys gave her right back, she got along swimmingly with the Imprints and the pack, and even a couple of the Cullens in recent years have chilled out. Shockingly the calmest and most laid back of all was Rosalie.

Once the blonde Vampire had confirmation Bella wasn't an active threat to her family, and her presence caused Edward to finally join the other "vegan" vampire coven, Rosalie had been downright cheerful with some of them. She held a general disdain for Sam and a couple of the other pack members, but she quite enjoyed the company of Leah, Jacob Seth and even Paul.

Gods, Paul had been the most shocking addition to their pack-within-a-pack. Without Sam's negativity Paul had evened out, even actively choosing to go to therapy. Rosalie had been hesitant about him to begin with, but she warmed up to him.

Now, Emmett? Oh Emmett was a hoot. He was the definition of a Himbo, and wanted nothing more than to play with the wolves and wrestle with them. Paul was always down for a good fight. They became the most shocking fast friendship. Turns out, if you're not actively avoiding each other and trying to repulse the other group, they didn't smell so terrible to each other. It was some kind of weird defense mechanism. Rosalie, bless her heart, had also nearly caused an entire war between them by punching Sam square in the nose for misgendering Lee again. He'd been doing it since he'd come out, and Lee literally couldn't do anything about it.

It had been Emily's intervention that had stopped the fight. "Sam Uley you get your ass over here right the fuck now!"

He might be the alpha, but watching a woman that severely scarred scream at you, call you by your full government name, and stand her ground knowing exactly what he could do to her is absolutely terrifying.

The treaty was maintained, and adjusted that evening to allow the few friendly members free access to their land, so long as they abided by their hunting laws while on that land. The Cullens agreed, and said the pack was welcome on friendly terms anytime.

Lee looked down at his mate again. Astonishing, the changes that had come about over the last few years, all because he crashed into Bella Swan.

"A picture lasts longer," Bella yawned, smiling sleepily up at him. He grinned in response.

"I don't need pictures when you're right here. How did you sleep, my angel?" she hummed, tucking her head under his chin and pressing herself more against him.

"The best I've slept in months. I missed being in your arms."

Lee closed his eyes, smiling softly as he held her close. "And I missed having you here. But we've got this. You only have one semester left, then you're all mine."

"Oh, yeah, about that. I will still have the graduation ceremony next semester, but I actually only have one more class for next semester." Bella started getting up,straddling Lee's hips. Bella saw the moment his still tired mind processed her state of dress.

"Oh… tiddies…" Lee grinned and Bella laughed.

"Focus, my love," she smiled, leaning down to kiss him.

"What class do you have to take?" Lee asked when he had been released, keeping a cool head but still letting his hands roam over her thighs, back, ass, anywhere he could reach. He just missed the feeling of her in his hands.

"It's an online class. I moved out of the dorms." Lee's focus snapped into place.

"Where are you staying?" Bella smiled at him.

"I was thinking about moving back in with dad, until I figured it out." Lee looked positively devastated.

"But… I have my own place now?" Lee knew what he was doing as he pulled out the puppy dog eyes. "Why not move in here?"

"I didn't know if you wanted that, baby."

Lee gave her an exasperated look, horrified that she would think he didn't want her. "I picked this house because of the size of the garage, my love. Literally no other reason."

Bella grinned at him and leaned down to kiss him again.
