Eclipse couldn't help the large grin that threatened to split his face in half at the amount of adrenaline he was experiencing at the moment. After following Cherri bomb into the wave of eggbois he wasted no time running through them to get to Sir Pentious. While running through the army of eggbois a few of them armed with pipes tried stopping the hellhound from reaching Sir Pentious but Eclipse was ready for them. Upon reaching the first eggbois Eclipse dodged a swing from the eggbois pipe and grabbed him before throwing him into another eggbois causing both the eggbois to break.

Without breaking his stride Eclipse ducked into a crouch and let off a sweep kick breaking two more eggbois before shifting into a runners stance and shot off in a burst of speed through the hordes of Sir Pentious eggbois destroying them left and right. Coming out of his speed rush Eclipse appeared a few feet away from Sir Pentious who had gone wide eyed glancing back and forth between the wreckage of the eggbois guarding him and Eclipse who stared back with a wild grin.

"Well snake face, looks like I got you cornered so the question remains, do you want to keep up this losing battle and I kill you painfully or give up and die quickly?" Eclipse asked while flexing his claws lazily. Sir Pentious glared at Eclipse with animosity hoping that the hellhound would burst into flames.

"Well, it looks like you have me cornered Eclipse, but I assure you that I have a few more tricks up my SLEEVES!" Sir Pentious yelled thrusting his arms out causing two chains to fly out from his sleeves catching Eclipse completely of guard allowing the sinner to ensnare the hellhound pinning his arms to his sides. Snapping out his mild shock Eclipse leveled Sir Pentious with a heated glare.

"Hey, when the fuck did you learn how to use chains?!" Eclipse asked knowing for a fact that the sinner had never use anything that wasn't one of his technologically weapons.

"Well if you must know hellhound, you were the one who inspired me to pick up the art seeing how you seemed to best me in every battle we had equipped with only a chain and sickle so I thought 'why not fight fire with fire' but these are no normal chains they do have quite a shocking surprise."

Sir Pentious explained to the bounded hellhound who didn't like how the sinner ended that explanation before he felt thousands of jolts of electricity course through his body for what felt like minutes but was only seconds.

After the electricity stopped coursing through his body Eclipse felt his restraints get heavily yanked before feeling himself sail through the air in an overhead arc and crash into the ground sending a wave of pain throughout his body as he felt his bandaged wound rip open slightly. Fighting through the pain, Eclipse forced himself on to his back and glared at Sir Pentious as he made his way towards him.

"Now that your taken care of, why don't you stay right here while I go deal with that pesky powerhouse and her friend and don't worry, I'll be back to make sure you truly die a dogs death." Sir Pentious proclaimed before slithering away towards Cherri bomb.

Eclipse let out a low groan as he slowly yet painfully rolled over onto his stomach and pushed himself onto his knees. Placing a hand onto his stomach Eclipse felt a lukewarm wet substance on his hand and knew that his previous wound had opened when he impacted with the ground. Pushing the pain aside, Eclipse glanced over at Cherri bomb and saw her and a tall, mostly white figure fighting off the eggbois but wasn't aware of Sir Pentious posing to attack with his chains.

"No, you don't you slippery bastard." Eclipse said before being surrounded in a purple flamelike aura and shot off across the ground leaving behind a trail of purple light. Reappearing in a burst of pure speed Eclipse stood to the left of the tall white figure with his right arm raised intercepting Sir Pentious chains causing them to wrap around his forearm. Sir Pentious seeing Eclipse covered in this purple aura was shocked at first but that quickly was replaced with an annoyed look on his face.

"You damned hellhound, why must you always interfere with matters that never concern you?" Sir Pentious asked Eclipse while trying to free his chains from the hellhound's grip.

"In case you forgot you started this when you decided to try and take over my territory so as far as I'm concerned this matter concerns me whether you like it or not." Eclipse responded with an icy glare before yanking on the chains pulling the snake overlord towards him before catching him by the neck with his free hand.

"Now then Sir Pentious, is there anything that you would like to say before I start beating you into submission?" Eclipse asked with a grin that promised nothing but pain. Sir Pentious stared at Eclipse for a few seconds before matching his grin with one of his own.

"You seem to have forgotten something hellhound, I always have a trick up my sleeve." Sir Pentious said before sending a surge of electricity through his chains that was still wrapped around the hellhound's wrist hoping to stun Eclipse like he had done earlier but that hope died instantly when he saw that Eclipse was completely unfazed.

With his grin still in place Eclipse only raised an eyebrow at his fellow overlord's attempt to get the jump on him again. Without breaking eye contact Eclipse raised his arm in front of Sir Pentious face. Sir Pentious was about to ask the hellhound what was going on before he saw that the chains wrapped around Eclipse forearm glowed with a purple hue before all the links snapped at once.

Sir Pentious went wide at seeing his chains snap like that but was even more shocked when the links, instead of falling to the ground, started to float around Eclipse's arm. Looking away from the floating broken chain links, Sir Pentious turned back to face Eclipse and ask him how he was doing this only to see the hellhound's head pulled back before he felt pain explode across his face and feel Eclipse's grip on his neck disappear and felt his body hit the ground as his vision faded to black.

Eclipse stood over the unconscious overlord with his manic grin still in place and couldn't help but feel disgusted at how Sir Pentious went down without as much of a fight. Holding out his hand Eclipse rearranged the broken chain links to form a 12-diameter ring and moved it to float vertically over Sir Pentious throat before it started to spin like a sawblade.

Slowly lowering his outstretched hand, the makeshift sawblade followed his movement slowly inching closer and closer to the unconscious overlords throat. It was only a hair's width away from slicing into Sir Pentious throat when he heard a faint whisper of a woman's voice echo inside of his head.

'It's okay to kill to protect those you hold close to your heart Eclipse but never become like those who enjoy slaughtering for nothing.'

And just like that, as soon as the voice came it left but it was more than enough to snap Eclipse out his trance, his manic grin fell and quickly stopped the makeshift sawblade and let the broken chain links fall to the ground. Looking back over to Cherri bomb he saw that she was talking to the white figure he saved earlier and saw that it was another sinner and that it was the famous adult film star in all of hell and most importantly Overlord Henroin's youngest son, Angel Dust. Casting one more look to Sir Pentious, Eclipse let out a silent sigh before turning around and made his way towards the two sinners with his aura fading away. As he got closer, he could make out their conversation.

"Will you chillout already Cherri, I told you that I was fine 3 times already." Angel Dust complained as his best friend was zipping around him to make sure that he was alright seemingly to have forgotten that they could regenerate like any other sinner. Cherri bomb made one final check before stepping back and let out a sigh of relief when she found no lasting or major damage on Angel Dust.

"Sorry Angie, it's just with three overlords going at it you never know what can happen on the battlefield is all." Cherri bomb replied to the pornstar who cocked an eyebrow at what she just said.

"Uh Cherri, I know that I can more than hold my own, but I don't think I have what it takes to be an Overlord, but I'll take any compliment I can get." Angel Dust replied with a cocky smirk plastered on his face. Cherri bomb hearing this couldn't help but let out a loud laugh before catching her breath.

"I don't mean to pop your bubble Angie, but I was talking about my other bestie in all of hell. . .uh, you good Angie?" Cherri bomb was saying before seeing Angel Dust go wide eyed with a huge blush across his face caused by something behind her. Turning around she understood what caused Angel Dust to have such a huge reaction like that. Standing behind her was one, if not her only, non-sinner best friends in all of hell, Eclipse who despite his somewhat dirty and damaged appearance somehow made it look downright sexy, especially with the light purple glow of his one visible eye, the other hidden behind some of his hair that fell in his face most likely doing his fight with Sir Pentious.

"Hey Cherri, you two didn't get hurt, did ya?" Eclipse asked the spunky powerhouse.

"Nah, besides a few scratches and bruises, me and Angie are fine, but I think I should be the one to ask you that." Cherri bomb replied, taking notice of the fact that the front of his shirt was so soaked in blood that it dripped onto the ground. Hearing the concern in her voice Eclipse followed her gaze and understood her worries.

"Oh this, don't worry about it, just my wound reopening after snake face slammed me into the ground but it's not anything I can't manage." Eclipse responded right before he collapsed to his knees. Cherri bomb knelt beside him to make sure that her fellow Overlord was okay.

"Are you sure that you're good to be moving Eclipse cause you look like you lost a fight with a straw." Cherri asked not wanting to leave her best friend alone in such a vulnerable state like this. Eclipse gave her a quivering thumbs up before replying.

"No, no I'm fine I just need to rest for a while and give myself some time for the wound to slow down enough so it can heal on its own, you sinners are so fucking lucky to have enhanced regeneration." Eclipse said trying his best not to succumb to the severity of his wound and stay conscious but knew that he was fighting a losing battle.

"Hey, if it's alright with two I'm just gonna take a small nap really quickly but before that can one of you tap the emblem on my back so that my boss can find me, thanks." Eclipse said right before going unconscious but not before hearing screeching tires and a female voice calling out his name.

I.M.P HQ/ An hour after Eclipse left.

Blitzo day had been pretty normal day, well minus the whole situation with the target but aside from that his day was the same old routine. Wake up, wake Eclipse and Loona, make breakfast, drive to work, kill the target, go home, rinse and repeat.

It was an easy and simple routine that he came to enjoy but after what happened with Eclipse, he had to remind himself for the last few days that Eclipse was still unconscious in the infirmary at 'I.M.P'. Speaking of said hellhound, Blitz was on his to the infirmary to see if there were any changes in his condition and retrieve Loona knowing that she spent all her free time at.

Entering the infirmary, Blitzo went wide eyed when instead of seeing Eclipse in bed and Loona in the bedside chair he only saw his adopted daughter occupying the bed asleep and his adopted son nowhere in sight. Rushing over to the bed Blitzo gently shook her awake and asked her where her brother was.

Loona, who was only partly awake, was now fully awake and wide-eyed looking around the infirmary trying to find any sign of her brother only to find no trace of him. Loona felt herself on the verge of a panic attack but was snapped out of it when she felt Blitzo gently shake her to get her attention.

"Loona, calm down and breathe for a few seconds okay, just relax and breathe." Blitzo instructed his adopted daughter who followed his instructions as he saw her physically relax. Seeing that she was calm now Blitzo once more grabbed her attention.

"Loona, I need you to tell me as calmly as you can, where's Eclipse?" Blitzo asked in a calm tone.

"I-I don't know, when I came to the infirmary, he was up an-and he was shadowboxing or something, I don't know. And then I remember hugging him and then I just blacked out." Loona explained to her adopted father who let out a long sigh. Blitzo went to say something but was cut off by Loona's hellphone going off.

Father and daughter shared a look before Loona grabbed her phone to check out what the alert was. As she watched the alert her eyes slowly began to widen and by the time she finished watching the alert Loona was wide eyed and slack jawed. She turned to Blitzo and handed him her phone. Blitzo looked confused, grabbed the phone, and proceeded to view the news alert and could only let out one word. "Fuck."

Blitzo tossed Loona her phone before turning around and ran out of the infirmary with Loona right behind him. The father and daughter duo ran out of the building and quickly made their way to the company van with Loona getting into the passenger seat and Blitzo getting behind the wheel. Without wasting time Blitzo started the van and backed up out of the parking lot before putting it in drive and speeding down the highway. As they sped down the highway Loona's phone went off again. Loona checked her phone and saw that it was open to a map that showed a purple crescent moon and a set of coordinates next to it.

"Hey Blitzo, Eclipse's tracker was activated and looks like it's moving further away from the city." Loona informed the imp who tightened his grip on the steering wheel and went pressed down on the gas pedal. "Alright Loona, keep me updated on his location in five minutes intervals." Blitzo instructed to Loona who nodded in response as they made their way towards pride's west side.

*Eclipse/?*

Eclipse stood in a black and purple void space lined with golden clouds releasing scarlet rays of light dressed in his usual day to day clothes looking at the multicolored void in amazement before he heard a low growl from behind him. Quickly turning around, he got into a defensive stance but dropped it when he saw a reflection of himself only with darker shades of fur and a more feral appearance but the major difference being his reflections eyes. While Eclipse's eyes was a bright vibrant purple the reflections eyes was a darker purple borderline violet color and it's right eye pupil was replaced with a jagged 'X.' Eclipse went to go closer to his reflection but froze in place as the mirror image of himself let out a sinister chuckle that sent shivers down his spine.

"I have been waiting for this day for a long, long time now and you can't begin to understand just how elated I am." The reflection spoke its voice sounding calm and collected with a light echo being the opposite of its appearance. Eclipse went on guard, being fully aware that this thing, whatever it was, could be dangerous and might attack at any minute. The reflection gave Eclipse a small smile at seeing this before speaking.

"There is truly no need to be wary of me Eclipse, I mean you no harm whatsoever in the slightest as that would be counter-productive for my existence." The reflection said to try to ease the hellhound. Eclipse for some unknown reason slowly started to relax but kept his guard up just in case.

"Okay then, a couple questions, one where in the fuck are we, two what the fuck are you and three, what do you mean harming me would be counter-productive to your existence?" Eclipse asked hoping to get some answers to find a way out of this place.

"To answer your questions, this void is the physical representation of your soul or your soulscape in laymen term and as for what I mean by harming you would be counter-productive for my existence. . . you'll learn in due time and lastly what I am, well that's simple, I've been with you your whole life so you already know what I am, don't you." The reflection finished with a toothy grin with its arms now crossed with that last bit coming off as more of a statement rather than a question. Eclipse stood silent for a few seconds before he let out a small chuckle that soon evolved into a loud insane laughter that soon died out before responding.

"You're my edge, the part of me that I always have to hold back relentlessly so I don't lose myself whenever I get serious." Eclipse deduced while glaring at his reflection with a smirk plastered on his face. The reflection did nothing for a few seconds before uncrossing it's arms slowly clapped its hands before stopping and lowering its arms to its sides.

"You would be correct in that regard Eclipse, I am the representation of your darker self, your instinct to kill and maim anyone that was to oppose you whenever you let the power you control takes over." The reflection admitted.

"Well then, you wouldn't happen to have a name then because calling you 'my reflection' all the damn time is going to get old real fast." Eclipse responded.

"Well seeing that I am the darker half of you I suppose you can call me Umbra but then again you can call me whatever you want because after all I'm just a part of you at the end of the day." Umbra replied with its ever-present gentle grin on its face.

"Hmm, the Latin world for 'shadow', makes sense I guess with you being my darker half and all but I still I have two more questions that need answering, one more than the other." Eclipse said while giving Umbra an analyzing glance. Umbra, seeing that analyzing glance was a bit confused but quickly caught on to what the hellhound meant.

"Oh, I can only assume that one of those questions is why I look more feral as oppose to you, well that is simple, as you are now you can only use a somewhat limited range of our abilities because your current body can't handle the full brunt of our power so to make up for that your body will undergo a transformation so that you can handle all that power but until then whenever you do decide to break my chains I'll being taking over." Umbra explained to Eclipse who could only stare at Umbra with a understanding look on his face. Eclipse was about to say something else but was interrupted by the void shaking with multiple faint voices coming from every direction.

"Looks like our time is up for now but don't worry if ever want to come pay another visit you only have to think about this place so until next time Eclipse." Eclipse heard Umbra say before his vision went white.

*Eclipse/?*

Eclipse eyes flew open as he shot up from his reclined position and quickly took in his surroundings. Looking around he could tell that he was in a room that resembled a large hotel lobby that looked like it had seen better days as it seemed to be lacking a certain flare. Before he could look around anymore Eclipse heard a crash from his right and turned to face what the cause of it was. What he saw left him with a look of shock as he saw Loona who was being held back by Blitzo, trying to attack a tall and slim-built white-skinned hellborn demon, standing at 6 and a half feet tall. She had long, ankle-length blonde hair with thin light coral streaks on the paler-blonde highlights tied into a twice-banded low-ponytail by two black hair ties that was also being held back by Angeldust and a girl with grayish-lavender skin and long silver hair. She was dressed in a knee-length grayish-white blouse, with a dark gray peter-pan collar, dark gray trimming on the sleeves, and two dark gray buttons down the front. She also sported a choker and a miniskirt with a thick pale pink waistband hugging her waist, both colored in the same dark gray along fingerless slate-gray opera gloves with matching thigh-high stockings, which include white scallops at the cuff and toes.

Eclipse seeing all of this happen quickly reacted by using his abilities on his sister and blonde encasing them in a thin purple outline and freezing them in place causing Blitzo, Angeldust and the silver haired girl to recoil in shock. Walking over to the group still holding his sister and the blonde in place and stood between the two of them and gave each girl a look and spoke.

"Okay, if two can't tell I've had a real messed up day. I woke up from an injury induced coma like maybe 5 hours ago, found out that a few people think I died and tried to take over my turf, had to go deal with said idiots specifically that damned snake Sir Pentious, fell unconscious AGAIN and just had the craziest fever dream in my life so, I'm going to let you both go and we'll all talk like adults, deal?" Eclipse asked the two girls who could only respond by giving the older hellhound short nods. Eclipse seeing the nods lower his hand causing the purple aura to fade, allowing the girls to regain control of themselves.

"Okay before we get started, I would just like to know, how the bloody did I get here and were the hell is here anyway?" Eclipse asked. The blonde stepped forward and answered.

"Me and my friends brought you here, and this is the happy hotel, a redemption center for those who wish to redeem themselves for a chance to get into heaven." The blonde replied to which Eclipse nodded but couldn't help but linger on her and be hit with a sense of familiarity. Turning to Loona he only looked at her with a raised eyebrow showing her that he was ready to hear from her.

"It was about an hour after you left Blitzo came into the infirmary to look for me and check up on you he saw that you were gone. So he woke me up and told me that you weren't there so we both started looking for around HQ and wondered where you could've when my phone got a news report and saw you fighting that sinner freak and made our way to you when halfway there your tracking chip went off and we just followed it here." Loona explained to her brother.

"Okay that explains that but that still doesn't explain why you two were seconds away from ripping each other throats out so why don't we pick this up from there." Eclipse said.

"Well, after me and Blitzo got here, I sort of just, bust down the door and told them to hand you over but then this prissy little runt got in my way and told us that we needed to leave and well. . . .I guess you could say that I didn't like the response and got a little angry." Loona told Eclipse who let out a sigh while pinching the space between eyes in annoyance before turning to the blonde.

"Look I appreciate you and your friends for allowing me to rest up here so I hope that I could pay for the door my sister destroyed, and we can just get out of you guys hair, okay?" Eclipse offered but was confused when the blonde started glancing back and forth between himself and Loona before stopping on the older hellhound.

"Wait did you just sister, like a blood relative family member that have the same parents, that kind of sister?" The blonde asked.

"Uhh, yeah this is my sister, why do you seem so surprised at the notion that she is my sister?" Eclipse countered.

"Oh, it's just that I didn't know that aunt Lorilei and Uncle Deimos had any children besides you Eclipse." The blonde replied. Hearing this Blitzo, Loona, Angeldust and the silver haired girl went wide eyed while Eclipse eyes narrowed at hearing this. Without any hesitation Eclipse summoned his purple aura and gave the blonde a hard stare.

"Okay miss, I'm going need you to tell me how you know those names considering that only a few people know who they are and even less knew that they had any kids much less one, so spill." Eclipse ordered.

"You really don't remember me all, do you Eclipse, but then again it has been a long time so I can't really blame you. Just look at my face for couple seconds and I really mean look at it." The blonde spoke while gently placing her hands on the side of Eclipse's face forcing the hellhound to look the blonde in the eyes.

Eclipse went to pull away at first but stopped when he started to take in her features and couldn't help but feel that same sense of familiarity again only stronger than last time. As he continued looking into her eyes Eclipse began to be assaulted by a memory he had long forgotten.

Flashback

A young Eclipse stood next to his father dressed in a pair of black skinny jeans, a purple sleeveless shirt and a black collar with silver studs standing outside in a huge courtyard that was decorated with ash-white bushes that were spotted with bright red apples with tints of gold. Seeing that the courtyard was empty Eclipse turned to his father and asked him a question. "Dad, are we waiting for something or someone?" The young hellhound asked his father.

Deimos was about to answer his son when his ears suddenly perked at the sound of a door rapidly opening and closing followed by two sets of footsteps approaching him and his son. Turning to face the direction of the approaching footsteps both father and son saw a man and a pre-teen girl appear from around a corner.

Eclipse saw that man had a slender build and had white skin with rosy-cheeks, blonde hair with thin light coral streaks on the thicker, paler-blonde highlights, and eyes with light yellow sclera, though with red irises with very small pupils and was dressed in white and red clothing like that of a circus ringmaster; he wore a wide-brimmed white top hat with a golden snake and a red apple over golden spikes, which resemble a crown, and a red-lined and red-trimmed white popped-collared suit with eight golden buttons - his coat worn over a light red-and-white striped waistcoat with two golden buttons and a small, accessorized black bowtie.

The girl, however, was dressed in a more modest outfit consisting of black slacks with red cuffs at the ankles and a white dress shirt that was worn under a red tuxedo coat adorned with a black bowtie. Like the older man the girl had had white skin with rosy-cheeks and pale blonde hair that stopped at her waist that was puffier in some areas of her hair. Deimos, seeing the two walk over to them and knelt down in front of them.

"Good evening, King Lucifer, I didn't know that you would be bringing the princess with you for this introduction, not that I'm complaining." Deimos said with a smirk on his face.

Lucifer only let out a boisterous laugh while offering a hand to the older hellhound, which Deimos took and helped him up before grabbing him in a hug and replied.

"Oh nonsense my dear friend it only seemed right that my godson should meet his god sister, so I figured why not now." Lucifer said with his voice full of excitement. Deimos nodded in agreement before looking behind him and beckoned his son over who quickly made his way to his father and stood beside him.

"Eclipse let me introduce you to two very important people, this here is Lucifer the king Hell, my boss, my friend and your godfather." Deimos said while gesturing to Lucifer who had large smile plastered on his face. "Hello, my dear pup and please feel free to call me 'Uncle Luci' you are family after all." Deimos then gestured to the pre-teen next to Lucifer.

"And this is his daughter, the princess of hell and your god sister, Charlotte Morningstar, go on and introduce yourself." Deimos told his son who stepped forward and extended his hand towards the pre-teen.

"Hello, your highness, my name is Eclipse it is a pleasure to meet you." Eclipse greeted her, waiting for her to shake his hand but was instead engulfed in a hug by the princess out of nowhere. After breaking the hug, the princess stepped back while grabbing both his hands in hers.

"It's wonderful to meet you Eclipse my name is Charlotte, but everyone usually calls me Charlie and there's no need to be so formal, we're family." Charlie said with a huge smile on her face that Eclipse swore was shining like sunlight that he couldn't help call her 'Sunshine' under his breath with a small smile of his own.

Flashback End

Eclipse, who had closed his eyes at some point, slowly opened them and stared at Charlie for a few seconds before muttering a question under his breath that caused Charlie's face to split into a large smile.

"Sunshine, is that really you?"
