A/N: I DO NOT own the Harry Potter series. That honour belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own the plot and original characters. Some of the characters will be OOC (Nice Dursleys [Wizard (and not Obese) Dudley]), Free Sirius, non-Supremacist Malfoys, Lestranges, and most of the death-eater families, Good Voldemort).

The Younger Pack

Oxford, Oxfordshire

After eating a breakfast of cereal with strawberries and doing some yoga, Astoria showered and returned to her room to clean up her script for submission. Looking over her printed draft raided with notes in red in order to improve the final work, the brunette used the worn papers to make the necessary changes on her laptop.

"I'm glad that Katelyn and Jane helped me out with the changes," she started clacking at her keyboard. "Luna, Ginny, and Peri helped too, but those two gave me the best advice."

As she was editing her draft, Stori fondly reminisced the times when Kate would tell her bedtime stories and introduced her to movies. She loved watching the original Charmed series and some teen and romance movies over the years. She smiled at the memory of snuggling with the Snape girl as they were engrossed in whatever was on screen. She loved the magic of the theatre and cinema that she started writing scripts and studying to improve.

*Four Years Ago*

With Katelyn and Paige attending university in less than two months, Dahlia decided to host a celebration since the two got into their dream schools and invited her past students to join in. With Izzy and Chloe cooking and Becky and Amanda in charge of desserts. Dahlia put Astoria's group in charge of the entertainment, since they loved performing.

Since Kate and Paige loved their performances, Astoria took out her recently finished script and passed it to her girls and Chloe's to practise. She then put Annie in charge of the costumes while Harry designed the backgrounds and props.

When it was almost time for the festivities, Dahlia sent Stori to find the honoured guests after teaching her a spell to use when she found them.

Traipsing through the forest in her red wool dress and brown boots, the brunette was taking deep breaths to calm herself as she neared her destination. The last time she entered this part of the woods three months prior, she was unprepared for the encounter and awoke in her cottage feeling cold and hungry hours later. Boy, was she grateful Katelyn made her some fresh hearty beef stew and sourdough bread to help her recover along with some hot chocolate.

Now, she was calming her mind as her surroundings darkened and dead trees appeared in her view. She then stopped upon seeing Katelyn placing herself in a meditative position and closing her eyes as the environment around her dimmed further. Feeling the air get colder, Astoria looked up to see black-hooded figures four yards tall closing in on the nine-year-old.

"Dementors!" Astoria hurriedly took out her wand before she felt a hand on her arm; she looked to see Paige with her wand out.

"Not yet," the older girl whispered as the Dementors were closing in on their friend.

Just as the bystanders were about to panic, however, Katelyn's eyes shot open and a pack of wolf patronuses rushed from her outstretched hands, tackling the Dementors to the ground and knocking them unconscious.

Astoria and Paige's jaws crashed to the ground as Kate stood up and raised her arms to the sky before falling to her knees panting. The girls both rushed to her and helped her to her feet before teleporting back to her cottage, where Dahlia was waiting with a cup of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and a bowl of fresh creamy potato soup garnished with shredded cheese and bacon bits.

With a wave of her hand, Dahlia had the worn-out brunette cleaned up and her muddied lavender dress was transfigured into a fresh white shift and her dishevelled half-up was pulled into a side braid.

As Katelyn was helped into her bed by the other two, a tray of the food was placed in front of her by the lady in black, who then kissed her forehead.

"You did an exceptional job with the Dementors, Katelyn," she smiled as she motioned for the little girl to eat. "and at nine years of age."

"Danke, Auntie," Katelyn took a spoonful of soup and let the creamy texture warm her insides. "You always say to give it our all!"

"But of course!" she made her way to the door. "Now, rest for a couple of hours. Astoria, stay with her and wake her up when it's time!"

Just like that, Paige and Dahlia left the cottage while Katelyn and Stori settled for a nap, waking up a few hours later to their mentor's telepathy.

Katelyn! Astoria! Wake up and get ready! Come to the mead hall in thirty minutes!

With a nod, the girls slowly disentangled themselves from each other and rose from Katelyn's bed. Stretching like a cat, Stori turned to the older girl who was walking towards her vanity before remembering Dahlia's words from earlier. So, she closed her eyes and uttered the words:

"Pulchra Princeps!"

Within seconds, petals of Amaryllises, Lilies, and Roses surrounded the older brunette and danced around her from head to toe, displaying Katelyn in a strapless dress made of cherry blossoms as the wandering petals were transfigured into a crown for her hair. Then, her hair was was parted to the left, wavy, and flowing by her mid-thighs. There was a strand that was plaited, but it did nothing to diminish the nine-year-old's beauty.

Looking at the older girl left Astoria speechless, even more so when she looked at her own reflection. Her long hair was also parted at the left and in a half-up, flowing to her hips and her clothes were transfigured into a beautiful white silk toga that fit her perfectly and accompanied with a silver chord at the waist, with her feet adorned with gold strappy sandals that reached the bottom of her knees.

Katelyn just smiled at her younger friend and took her hand before exiting the cottage.

*Flashback Ends*

As she was converting the pen edits to typed, Astoria was proud to polish her work since the protagonist was based on her surrogate mother that always supported her without pause.

Whenever Katelyn was the star of the show, she immediately shared the spotlight with others. When she and her team first arrived, Katelyn was the first to greet them with hugs and a hot meal she made herself (beef stew and grilled cheese). She also consoled them and assured them they would see their families again. She remembered Katelyn's seventh birthday, Luna was upset about not receiving a letter from parents on her own birthday (the day before), so she spent the day cheering her up. Luna had a blast but really cheered up upon noon when her letter from her parents finally came and spent the entire day until Kate's party reading it.

The eleven-year-old remembered that day because that was the day Katelyn was made a princess in her eyes. She was kind, loving, and can kick some arse. Hell, she's proven time and time again that she'd go to any lengths to protect the ones she loves and cares about. From saving the father who never knew she existed to accepting the mission to kill the most dangerous werewolf in Britain so her own team wouldn't have to. Dahlia had offered the mission to previous mentees, and they opted for something else. Kate's team took accepted it in order to keep Astoria's from having to face the perilous choice.

After finishing her final draft, the young Greengrass finally submitted her script with a click and shut down her laptop before flaming to the Sertori Mansion.

It was One in the morning and Ginny Weasley was in her studio flat sound asleep after completing the final editing of her film. After spending hours figuring out what scenes to cut and keep, along with what background music to use, the eleven-year-old redhead finally had her movie ready to show to the world.

On summer holiday from CalArts, Ginny was working on a side project for the upcoming film festival in L.A. in early August. She was glad to have Astoria as one of her best friends and a screenwriter, because while Ginny can think of some ideas, Stori can write a whole script. Unfortunately, the brunette chose to attend Oxford rather than CalArts, but she graduates soon. Maybe, Ginny can get her to move in for the former's final year of school to work on a plan to bring movies and videos to the Wizarding World.

Stretching out in her bed, the redhead yawned as she turned to her side and continued snoring throughout her apartment.

New York City

In her apartment in Greenwich Village at 3 a.m., Luna Lovegood was sleeping like a baby after working at her internship hours before at Dr. Mason's office. Dr. Lara Mason was a well-renowned psychotherapist in the state, and Luna was honoured to work under her, especially since she was also a witch.

The dirty blonde had finished her junior year at Barnard College and was spending her summer as an intern and having some fun with her friends. Aside from wanting to help people recover from depression and mental trauma, the twelve-year-old also wanted to look for creatures no one discovered yet. Katelyn and some of the older crew had encouraged her to explore the unknown and share her findings with them. Even Dr. Mason did the same.

Luna wants to return home after university and propose to her parents about traveling and finding new things. After saving her mum from an accident three years ago, Luna had snuck glances into their daily lives to ensure their safety. Now, since her freedom is coming close, she wants to spend more time with them the minute she reunites with them to make up for lost time.

New Haven, Connecticut

In her apartment near campus, Peri Grace was in her room dead asleep after working on a photography book from her travels from previous summers. She also worked on a book cover for a fantasy novel that was stemmed from her own painting. She was called on by an up-and-coming author who was a fan of both Carina Rose's and Jane Silver's work. They called and asked how much it would cost to do a book cover with a few copies. She said $1,200 and the deal was made.

Of course, she also used Harry's work from time to time, making sure to pay him a percentage for the use of his paintings. Of course, he had to pay her whenever he needed to go digital since he sucks at it; so, it evens out.

Hanging on her bedroom door was an ironed green lace cami, dark blue denim jacket and matching jeans to wear to lunch with her uncle Sawyer later in the afternoon. With limited contact with her mother until her training with Dahlia was completed, she started seeing her uncle since mid-freshman year at Yale. He's flooed every other weekend to check in and see if she's alright, along with exchanging messages between her and her mother.

Sawyer set up a meeting with his niece later today to fix the low contact order, so Peri can see her mother without defying Dahlia. He may have been a new blood, but even he heard the stories of the ancient witch. He didn't tell Peri his plan but promised to try to get the interpersonal ban lifted, so she and her mum could be reunited.

A/N: This is the introduction to the younger pack of Dahlia's. I plan to incorporate them more into the story but thought this standalone chapter would do them some justice. I still want to know what houses Harry and the others should be in.
