AN: Hey guys sorry for the delay it's just been one thing after another including that bad storm we just had where we lost power. So I hope everyone else is also doing fine too. But I'm here don't worry and already working on the other chapters and stories as we speak. So hope you enjoy and as always the song in this chapter (Breaking Benjamin "I will not bow") and the main characters aren't mine.

Walking down the narrow hallway Uraraka continued to carry her son while walking along with both Mina and Deku on either side of her after stopping by the daycare first.
"I'm telling you it's hopeless." Mina continued to frustratedly groan. "I practically threw my voluptuous self at the man, and he didn't even bat an eye."
"Well, what exactly did you say?" Uraraka asked as they continued walking towards the small room Jirou had been renting for their group's rehearsals. She couldn't help the little jittery feeling building up in her stomach after every step since she hadn't heard them playing in what seemed like forever.
Jirou continued to fill her in on their progress even after she had left Japan since Riku actually did manage to get Jirou a contract with one of his regulars like he said he would, which was why the hearing hero tried to spend as much time planning and working on her music as she did hero work.
Uraraka was just grateful that her friend was able to do all the things she really wanted to do instead of having to choose between the things she loved and couldn't be more proud of Jirou.
Smiling to herself she recalled the first time she remembered accidentally hearing the group playing back at the training camp and yet somehow it just seemed so long ago. The sounds of instruments in the air…the rapid thumping of her heart the first time she heard his voice singing along with the music…she could still remember the way it made her heart feel at the sound of it. Something even now she had a hard time ignoring just thinking about it.
"Uraraka?" Deku curiously tilted his head sideways to see her lost in thought.
It seemed that everyone was now slowly finding their path in life and who they were meant to be. Even Deku who after his trip back overseas with All Might had gained more experience and grown so much during that time as well as Iida who now ran his brother's agency, while others like herself was just content in watching her friend's happiness, and staring down at the little person currently clutched to her.
And if that's all she could get…then that would be enough for her.
"Babe you're doing it again." Mina giggled exchanging a smile with him.
"Oh. Sorry." Sheepishly smiling Uraraka quicky shook her head. "What were you saying?"
"Just that I asked if Kirishima wanted to join me in the shower and he just-"
"Whoa! OK!" Deku flusterly waved his hands in hopes of stopping her incoming rambling since everyone knew Mina pretty much wasn't easily embarrassed. "I really don't think we all need to know that!"
"Yeah! He acted just like that." Mina curiously glanced at him. "I mean what does a girl have to do to get some loving around here sheesh?!"
Having both girls turn to him made Deku's red face deepen in color. "I um…we're sorry?"
"Ugh you're right. Maybe I came on too strongly?" Mina thought out loud. "Maybe I just need a guy's perspective in all this."
"Hey!" Deku frowned in offense.
Giggling Uraraka could already hear the music blaring from the other side of the door as they approached, the faint memory of the vibration against the walls and the floors bringing her back to the times in school.
What she wasn't expecting was to open the door and find them already hard at work and arguing with the tension in the air only somewhat easing once they allowed themselves in.
"Again."
"Dude we've been here practicing nonstop today." Kaminari took this time to stretch his tired arm. "I think we deserve a break."
"Again." Bakugo repeated a little more forceful this time twirling his black drumstick in his hands the same way she remembered which instantly made her turn her eyes away when he glanced at them.
"I agree with Denki." Jirou flexed her fingers after jotting down some more notes. "We've been at it already for hours. We could use a break."
"I concur." Tokoyami nodded.
"Again." Bakugo continued to roll his wrist as he sat on the drum stool or throne as he liked to call it.
"Besides, who made you the leader?" Kaminari quickly shrunk back when Bakugo's unamused gaze turned to him.
"Woah did we miss something?" Mina asked as they sat themselves down next to Hagakure, Ojiro, Kirishima and Sero.
"More the of the same." Hagakure shrugged as they continued to hear the ongoing bickering between Bakugo and Kaminari.
"Yeah, except that the band seems a little more tense today." Ojiro admitted while scratching his chin. "Might have something to do with lord explosion over there."
"Woah seems like Kacchan's taking this rather serious today huh." Deku acknowledged as he sat himself down next to Uraraka.
"I heard that Deku!" Bakugo barked, briefly stopping his argument with Kaminari to snap at the One for All user.
"S-sorry!"
"Look all I'm saying a break is way overdue." Kaminari explained while massaging his own throat. "I think I strained my voice a little too dude."
"Alright how about this…" Jirou raised her hands. "Since I've written down all I can today and we're all a little tired after working, we'll play one more song and then we'll call it a day, ok?"
"Hey guys! You made it!" Kirishima happily waved from his spot next to Sero.
Bakugo was about to scoff at Jirous suggestion but flicked his eyes to the newcomers before he reluctantly agreed for now. He had to make a quick run to the grocery store anyways before dropping Uraraka and Kiseki off at home and going back to work so he simply grunted and refocused his attention on his drums.
"Here." Yaoyorozu handed Uraraka a pair of small, black headphones that had little dinosaurs on them.
"What's this?"
"Well Bakugo had asked me to make these earlier so the music wouldn't be too much for little Kiseki's ears and we all agreed. I hope you like them." She informed her, watching as Uraraka gave a small smile before placing them on his ears. "Do they fit? I can always make another pair if they don't." Yaoyorozu worriedly asked.
"They're perfect. Thank you Momo." Uraraka gratefully smiled back at her while her son began to wiggle in her arms, not being used to wearing these.
"Well, that's nice of him." Mina impressively raised a brow keeping her gaze on Kiseki. "At least there's one person he's not getting snappy with lately."
"Well what's not to like." Ojiro gave a friendly smile at the child while Hagakure was swooning behind him.
"That's so sweet of you Mashirao!"
"Alright guys you ready?" Jirou asked over her shoulder once Yaoyorozu finally joined them. "We can stop for today after this."
"Tch." Bakugo rolled his eyes before he heard the others commence playing and began pounding on the drums, moving his mouth closer to the microphone.
"Fall…
Now the dark begins to rise
Save your breath, it's far from over.
Leave the lost and dead behind.
Now's your chance to run for cover.
I don't wanna change the world.
I just wanna leave it colder.
Light the fuse and burn it up.
Take the path that leads to nowhere.
All is lost again…
But I'm not giving in.
I will not bow.
I will not break.
I will shut the world away.
I will not fall.
I will not fade.
I will take your breath away.
Fall.
Watch the end through dying eyes.
Now the dark is taking over.
Show me where forever dies.
Take the fall and run to heaven."
Finding her eyes dropped to the ground Uraraka couldn't help but let out a small shaky breath.
"All is lost again…but I'm not giving in.
I will not bow.
I will not break.
I will shut the world away.
I will not fall.
I will not fade."
Snapping his eyes open his eyes automatically locked with hers as he continued to play his drums.
"I will take your breath away."
And I'll survive, paranoid.
I have lost the will to change.
And I am not proud, cold-blooded fate.
I will shut the world away…
Open your eyes.
Taking this time Tokoyami and Jirou worked on their solos before Bakugo began to sing once again with Kaminari backing him up. Each note, each word allowing him to forget about everything but this moment as he stubbornly shook his head with he beat.
"I will not bow.
I will not break.
I will shut the world away.
I will not fall.
I will not fade.
I will take your breath away.
And I'll survive, paranoid.
I have lost the will to change.
And I am not proud, cold-blooded fate.
I will shut the world away.
Fall.
After the song had ended Uraraka hadn't realized that she hadn't moved her eyes from them until she felt the little person in her arms pull on her shirt to get her attention which was when she noticed that they were already halfway done with putting their instruments away. Pulling herself together and finally breaking her trance, she smiled down at Kiseki.
"Kacchan hey!" Deku's squeaky voice pulled her attention forward as he jumped to his feet, meeting Bakugo's annoyed scowl. "You guys sounded great!"
Shoving his hands into his pockets Bakugo only grunted in response before looking back over his shoulder at the others who were just about done packing everything. "Those slakers decided to call it a damn day."
Following his gaze both Deku and Uraraka could actually understand why since everyone did seem tired today.
"Hey I'm not a slaker!" Kaminari protested.
"You just want to quit so you and ears can go home!" Bakugo shouted back.
"Yeah well even though that may be true, I'll have you know that we'll do more than just res-"
"Denki!" Jirou instantly cut through his rambling with a rosy tint to her cheeks.
"What?"
Inhaling deeply Bakugo decided this wasn't worth his time so instead he turned to look at Uraraka and Kiseki. "You ready?"
"Sure." Happily getting to her feet she gave Deku a quick fond goodbye along with Hagakure and the others before following Bakugo out the door.
X
If you had told Uraraka years ago that she would be walking down the aisle of the grocery store next to one Bakugo, while pushing along a shopping cart with their son inside she would have flat out laughed at the very idea.
But here she was doing just that.
"Has anyone ever told you that you suck at this?" Bakugo tiredly asked as he watched her carefully scanning the shelves next to her. "You're supposed to make a list of all the shit you need beforehand."
"And I did!" she annoyingly pouted. "It's just…forgot it a home."
"Well it's not doing us any good there now is it?" He grumbled as he let his own eyes trail the aisle on the other side. "At least you ate before coming here." Upon her silence he snapped his head sideways just as he saw her reaching for instant noodles. "Seriously?!"
"What?"
"You don't go grocery shopping on an empty stomach idiot." Now he understood why she looked like the proud owner of aisle six when he looked inside her pantry when he had to babysit.
"It's fine." She indifferently waved off as she began putting more ramen boxes inside the cart while he quickly took them out. "What—Bakugo stop!"
"That crap isn't healthy!"
"But it feeds me, it's easy to make, it's practical and saves me money." She counted on each finger before returning to her previous task.
"Wow, you call that logic?" He slowly blinked back. "I call that stupidity."
"I call it freedom of opinion and speech." She irritatedly puffed out her cheeks.
"I think you're confusing freedom of speech with saying stupid shit Round face." He watched the way her brows furrowed at his unwelcome comment but kept skimming the aisle for things she needed.
Maneuvering the cart around so she had no choice but to follow him, he quickly began studying the items on each aisle before stopping at the fresh vegetables.
"What are you…" She trailed off when he shoved fresh cabbages in her arms before moving on to the carrots.
"You need to eat healthy." He let his eyes scan each and every item in front of them, carefully checking to make sure they were just right, and she couldn't help but watch on in astonishment as he moved around with such ease.
She knew firsthand that Bakugo always took care of himself from the way he trained his body, schoolwork and even the way he ate, but this was the first time that she'd had the privilege of watching him actually shop for the groceries.
And to no one's surprise he was pretty meticulous with that part of his life too.
"You can't go around eating shit for food no matter how easy that option may sound."
"But-"
"-and if you decide to eat ramen at least have the good decency to make it yourself like a decent human being. None of that generic crap." He grabbed some Shiso before moving over to the potatoes.
"Why do I suddenly feel like I'm being lectured by my parents?" She childishly mumbled unaware of him looking back at her from over his shoulder.
"Well apparently when it comes to grocery shopping you need it." He smirked before returning his gaze to the potatoes in front of him.
He remembered that time not long after she came back when he ran into her while doing a quick run to the nearby grocery store by the agency, so he knew that she would at least know how to cook something or at least he remembered she claimed to. "Besides Round-face doing what we do you need to keep your body up to par and in tip top shape along with plenty of rest and you also have a baby to…" he awkwardly gestured towards her body before quickly averting his gaze. "To feed. So, whatever you eat, this brat eats."
'Wow…he really did his homework.' The impressed smile she held in place only stayed there for a few seconds before being overshadowed by something else he had said. "Wait…do I not like fine?" she frowned.
"Huh?" his mouth hung open since he wasn't sure where the hell she even got that idea nor was he willing to answer.
"My body I mean…" she timidly asked unsure if she really wanted to hear his responds since let's face it Bakugo wasn't necessarily known for being the gentles when it came to telling people what he thought of them. She knew she had put on a little weight post pregnancy, but some part of her was still hoping she would at least seem somewhat attractive to him. Maybe even a little…
She had worked so hard to get back in shape after the pregnancy and was proud of her results, even hearing some of the others compliment her on how great she looked but she never really had the chance to hear what he thought of her now. Call it silly or some part of postpartum depression, but after coming back she couldn't help but wonder if he found her even the slightest bit desirable, especially when he was constantly surrounded by other beautiful women on the job or passing by them.
But after every second that passed by and he had yet to answer, only staring at her with wide shocked eyes, she regretted asking that stupid question immediately.
What the hell? Was she seriously asking him this? Now?! In the middle of a goddamn grocery store?!
'Don't answer…don't answer…don't answer you dumbass…for the love of All Might don't answer!' he pleaded for his stupid mouth to remain close for once, but could feel his eyes hungrily tracing down her body before he could catch himself. 'Oh no…'
"Well?"
"I…what?" he confusingly asked, slowly blinking back as if he wasn't sure what was happening, even as he felt the blush creeping up his face, up his ears and drop way back down until this morning's dream threaten to take over again.
"Hey guys!"
Snapping her eyes away from a speechless Bakugo, Uraraka could see both Itsuka Kendo and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu quickly approaching them with a shopping basket in hand.
"H-hey!" Uraraka greeted them, masking the unease she felt just now.
"Well if it isn't the Bakugo's!" Tetsutetsu playfully winked until Kendo nudged him on the ribs. "Ow!"
"Funny running into you both here." Kendo's curious eyes briefly bounced between them, only stopping when she saw Uraraka's eyes widen at his comment.
"Y-yeah just doing some quick shopping." Uraraka glanced back at Bakugo who still looked completely out of it.
"Oh?" Kendo looked completely taken aback by that answer, but it quickly vanished when her eyes landed on Kiseki.
"Hey little guy." Tetsutetsu allowed Kiseki to grip his finger as the child smiled back at the two. "If I didn't know any better, I'd think this was some kind of little family outing."
"What?!" Uraraka squeaked with panicked eyes. "That-that's definitely not what this is!"
"Well we won't take a lot of your time." Kendo could see Uraraka still worriedly eyeing Bakugo next to the cart so she thought it would be best to catch up another time and told her as much.
"We'll catch up later!" Tetsutetsu waved over his shoulder before being dragged off by Kendo.
'Well that couldn't have been more awkward…' deeply inhaling to calm her nerves she turned back to see Bakugo still staring at her.
"What?" He slowly blinked out of his daze when he felt the cart begin to move beside him.
"I'll be back." Uraraka swiftly moved the cart towards the small pharmacy where she had to pick up her prescription next. "Kiseki and I shouldn't take long. So we'll meet you at the checkout counter." Before he could protest, she was already made a beeline towards the pharmaceutical department.
It was embarrassing enough to have Tetsutetsu make that remark about them but there was no way she was about to have Bakugo of all people tag along for this part of the trip. And it would give him the opportunity to also finish up on some of his shopping while they were at it. Surely it was a win win for everyone.
What she wasn't counting on was that the woman told her she couldn't pay there but had to take her prescription up to the cashier where none other than Dynamight was already impatiently waiting for her.
"Took your ass long enough. What did you buy anyways?" he raised a brow as she briskly walked past him.
"Nothing!" she said a little too fast, barely making eye contact as they placed their items on the checkout counter.
Eyeing her suspiciously he saw the way the cashier kept looking between them with great interest which irritated him even further.
"Hello." The woman smiled to which he only gave a small grunt in return before his eye caught Uraraka placing the divider between their items.
"What are you doing?"
"Hmm?" stopping midway to putting the last remaining items on her side of the conveyor belt, she looked from it then back to him.
"Are you two together?" the cashier gestured to the groceries.
"No."
"Yes." Raising a challenging brow, Bakugo quickly removed the divider and placed it back in its original place.
"No." shaking her head Uraraka made to grab it again. "Bakugo I appreciate it but no. I'll pay for my own stuff."
"I've got it." He snatched it off and firmly placed it back before she reached for it again.
"No."
"I told you I've got it."
"No."
"Round-face…"
"Bakugo." She grabs the divider, moving it down the belt and in front of her stuff for the fifth time.
"What is wrong with you?!" he frustratedly scowls, removing it once more only for her to take it back.
"Nothing."
"Just put your shit in with mine." He said between gritted teeth. He had planned to pay for it from the moment they stepped foot inside this grocery store so why the hell was she making this a bigger deal than it really was.
"I can't let you pay for my stuff." She sweetly smiled but he knew underneath that forced smile was someone to be reckoned with.
"Why the hell not?"
"Because…" she began to say but stopped when nothing else came to her. "Because it's weird ok."
"Yeah that explains a lot." He huffed as he removed it one more time.
"Bakugo no."
"It's just damn groceries." He pointed out, it wasn't like they were going on a stupid date or anything, it was just two co-workers buying groceries together nothing else, people did that all the time right? Not that he really could answer that himself since he never had enough patience to go shopping with those idiots that called themselves his friends in the first place, but for some unknown reason the thought of him paying for her stuff right now weirded her out.
And as if she could read his thoughts, she defiantly raised her chin up. "Would you let Kirishima or Deku pay for your stuff?"
"Hell no!"
"There. You see." She triumphantly smiled but it swiftly faded when he removed it again. "Stop moving it."
"No." he simply answers while the cashier's eyes as well as Kiseki moved from one to the other as they continued to fight over the divider.
"Seriously?" Stomping her foot down, she was well aware that she probably looked more like a child now throwing a tantrum then the actual grown woman she was. "Bakugo stop."
"No." he could see her going for it again but before she could place it in between them he snatches it, pulling her right along with it. Her breath hitched as soon as his face came mere inches from hers.
Having him this close only reminded her of the last time they were this close, and it definitely wasn't in a grocery store where they had a line slowly building behind them. "Bakugo…"
"Uraraka just put your shit in with mine and stop arguing or I'll-"
"You'll what?" That was probably the wrong thing to say when something wicked gleamed in his crimson eyes, like he'd just thought about what that would entail and didn't mind following through with it.
"I really doubt you'd want me to answer that right now, especially with little ears listening." He lowly growled, his eyes flicking to her lips before releasing the bar and watching her take a startled step back.
Since she didn't seem to fight it anymore being caught completely off guard, he took this time to scan over the things the cashier was ringing up for them to make sure they had everything they needed until a small white box caught his eye that he didn't remember her getting.
"Will that be all sir?" the cashier asked just as she rung it up and placed it inside their shopping cart.
Nodding he waited until she finished with the last item before digging into his wallet and pulling out his card before Uraraka could protest. "Relax Round-face you can get it next time." He added, knowing that otherwise she wouldn't feel as comfortable with him paying for it.
"N-next time?" she was definitely not prepared for that responds and definitely not when he reached over to inspect the white box next. "NO!"
Her sudden outburst nearly made him clumsily drop it and turn to her along with the others now waiting.
"Would you relax. It's just some damn gum." He frowned, wiggling the box in his hand. "I might even have some." He thoughtfully mumbled the last part as he started to try and read what flavor it could be.
Her mouth hung slightly agape at the mere suggestion. "You will do no such thing." She sternly replied which made him whip around to stare at this woman like she had completely lost it.
Was Ochaco Uraraka seriously unwilling to share a damn pack of gum?
"Bakugo just put it down!"
"What's the…?"
"Sir." The cashier smacked her obnoxiously loud gum with a very clear smile on her otherwise bored face. "Those are birth control pills."
As soon as those words left her mouth he just as quickly dropped them inside the cart as if being burned.
His eyes went from one woman to the other. "Well how the fuck was I supposed to know what that shit was?!" his ears began to heat up before he snatched his credit card back and swiftly pushed the shopping cart out of there without another word with Uraraka embarrassingly trailing behind.
This definitely was not how she imagined her day to end.
