Scorch Style: Scorching Wave!

With a deep gulp of air while kneading chakra in my gut, a highly-pressurized jet of water flew from my lips right as Pakura unleashed a scorching ball of heat and gas from her palm.

As the two attacks clashed, my eyes were already focusing through the resulting steam as I focused on her location, watching as the teenager rushed in right as I cut my jutsu and did the same.

Moving to the side as the scorching sun missed me, chakra flooded my body and enhanced my physical capabilities drastically before sliding on my knees right as Pakura leapt through the air with a spinning kick.

It barely missed clipping my face as we stared at each other, with me quickly leaping to my foot and spinning around right as she landed and lunged at me.

Raising an arm to block the kick at my head, I pushed her away and leaned back to dodge a miniature sun trying to burn my head off, quickly ducking down with a leg sweep that she stepped back from right as I grabbed at the mud and threw it at her face.

However, as she moved the sun in front of her to quickly harden the mud, I was already lunging forward, an iridescent field of light covering my hands as I reached forward before shocking her as I grabbed the miniature sun.

Preta Path

Having trained extensively with the Rinnegan paths, I smirked as I completely drained away the chakra in her jutsu whilst kicking outwards, Pakura blocking the blow with a grunt as it sent her flying back.

She was quick to flip over though even as she still looked surprised at what just happened, but I was a bit concerned as well as I looked at my hand to see the slight 1st degree burns covering it.

'I was too late in activating it. Keeping it active seems to be best.' With that thought, I raced towards her with a new plan in mind, leaping up to the air with a smirk while the same light aura covered my body right as she threw a trio of scorching gas balls at me.

Preta Path

This time, I let the balls impact my body right as I activated the absorption field, grinning as the chakra was drained from her jutsu before they could even singe my clothes.

Pakura looked shocked as I landed behind her with a grin, spinning around right as I spun with a fist pulled back and let it fly.

The force behind it was enough to shake the ground below us as she blocked it, a slightly pained grunt escaping her lips as the attack forced her back before I quickly rushed back in.

Swinging my right fist with a hook, Pakura leaned back from it before raising an arm to block my kick, gripping onto my leg only to grunt as I used it as leverage to try and land a heel kick from my other leg.

Forced to let go, I quickly gathered the absorption field at my chest right as she tried to smash another sun into my chest, gritting her teeth as I absorbed the attack while lunging forward.

A kick aimed at her side was leapt over with a flip as she tried to land her own kick to my skull, but I slipped under it before pulling a kunai from my pouch, throwing it at her right as she formed another sun behind her that melted the kunai to a sludge within mere seconds.

Moving around the melted weapon, she threw the sun at the ground and turned it to magma instantly, creating another two suns as she threw the first at me before moving the others to hit me from the sides.

Asura Path

However, I smirked as I grew four more arms from my sides, shocking her as I quickly absorbed all three orbs while my own face split up into two separate ones.

Wind Style: Vacuum Blast Barrage!

Collaboration Technique: Severing Hurricane!

The air around me went from humid to damn near suffocating as water condensed around me in liters, quickly spiralling up and out in the form of a giant water tornado before hundreds of miniature air blades formed inside of it right as I let it blast out in all directions.

Thankful for the fact that Yahiko had taken his battle far away, the air blades were relentless as they slashed through everything in their path, carving deep crevices into the ground that were quickly filled up by the raging water that knocked down everything it could make contact with.

Turning my gaze back to Pakura, I frowned slightly as the teenager was doing her best to dodge the razor sharp air blades as well as the torrents of water trying to knock her down, taking a deep breath as the jutsu around me began to fade away before nodding.

'I was hoping to keep her busy until Yahiko finished his fight and then run, but I guess I can't be wasting time.' I thought with a frown as I retracted two of the fists, the flesh on the left side of my face pulsating right before I found myself with three faces looking left, right and centre.

Crouching lowly right as Pakura turned to me, the ground under me shattered as I lunged high up into the sky, raising my right foot high as I stared down before my two faces on the sides blew out powerful gusts of wind that sent me blasting downwards.

With a roar, my leg whipped down and impacted the ground with a shattering boom, sending giant rubble flying up high along with sending out a shockwave that sent them all flying in all directions.

However, I was more focused on Pakura as I saw her leaping from rock to rock, her eyes widening as I appeared in front of her with three fists pulled back before swinging the top fist at her head.

She quickly ducked under it and into the path of the lowest fist, barely able to tilt her head out of the way even as I clipped her hair, but that was what I needed as my middle fist flew forward and connected with her jaw with a crackling rumble.

Watching as her pupils disappeared and appeared from the force of the attack, I quickly wrapped her in a full nelson/ chokehold combo before activating the Preta Path.

I could feel her trying to struggle, but it only took thirty seconds at most before she went still, deactivating the Preta Path as I saw nearly all of the chakra having been drained from her body.

'Damn, I really was stupid to not train these earlier.' I thought as I landed on the ground with a grunt, two of my left hands twisting into metallic ropes that pinned her arms and legs together before looking out right as the sound of battle began to wane.

Looking over to where Sakumo was still busy fighting, I quickly dropped down as I saw him standing in the middle of a field of bodies, Ebiso lying with a deep cut on his chest right as the white-haired man turned his gaze towards me.

'Nopenopenopenope!' I dropped down underground as far as I could before taking off to the south, hearing the rumbling above as I looked up and felt proud to see Yahiko's chakra still shining brightly while the Yamanaka's chakra was glowing dimly.

However, I didn't have much time to feel proud as I quickly rocketed upwards and grabbed both him and the Yamanaka shinobi right as I hissed when my lower right arm was sliced off in the blink of an eye.

"Stop or I kill him!" I quickly called out while holding a kunai to the Yamanaka's neck, draining his chakra with my top right arm wrapped around his neck as Sakumo turned to me with a frown.

"You would not dare."

"No, I would not, but I also know that if you kill him or attack me, I will blow up this entire area with no hesitation." I threatened, ignoring Yahiko's wary look as the man frowned before slowly sheathing his tanto.

"Very well, but remember that if we do cross paths after today, you will die."

"Oh, I know." I spoke with a smirk before sinking into the ground, swimming away along with the three I was carrying while keeping my gaze on Sakumo's chakra above ground.

'Hah, this was a far better outcome than I expected..'

"Gah!" Yahiko gasped as we surfaced above ground just a few minutes later, taking deep gulps of air as I crawled out besides him along with both the Yamanaka shinobi and Pakura who were both awake yet looking very weak.

"That…was awesome~!" Yahiko whispered with a grin and I rolled my eyes as I stood up whilst looking at our former opponents.

"Actually, you Yamanaka…" I began before the Yamanaka's eyes roll back as I landed a vicious punch to his jaw that knocked him out cold.

Letting the boy drop to the floor, I grabbed onto Yahiko and covered us both along with a glaring Pakura in mud.

"You can either let me do this or I can leave you here to be captured by Sakumo Hatake. Which do you want?" I asked and nodded as she went still whilst still keeping her glare on me.

"…Very well." She huffed and I ignored Yahiko's snickering as I focused my gaze in the direction we just came from.

'…Is this guy the fucking Terminator?' I thought in shock as I saw the chakra of Sakumo rapidly closing in on us, quickly grabbing onto Yahiko and diving back down under before taking off just mere seconds after the man landed above us.

A moment later, I was happy I had left the area as the ground around us rumbled, my eyes widening as I watched a large chunk of the ground sinking in before shaking my head and quickly swimming towards the meet-up spot as fast as I could.

'Nope! I might have the Paths, but there is no way in Hell I'm fighting that.'

"Damn, you two look like you've been through hell." Higashi spoke with a grin as I threw Yahiko out from the ground, to which I simply shook my head before surprising both him and Konan with the sight of Pakura still captured in my arms.

"Before you ask, she has a Kekkei Genkai so that would be a powerful blow to Suna's forces." I answered as Konan turned her gaze towards me and her eyes narrowed before I raised an eyebrow as she huffed and crossed her arms.

"Very well, but if she tries anything…"

"You are free to kill her." I spoke with a nod, which the bluenette returned before I turned to Yahiko as he stood up with a groan.

"Man~ That old man is a monster. Reminds me of Sensei, to be honest."

"Considering Sensei along with his team are compared to that guy, it's safe to say he's definitely far stronger than we are."

"That is true. Hah, at least he's off of our case, eh?" Yahiko spoke with a grin and I didn't say anything as I simply looked at the area around us before nodding.

"Seems like it…hopefully. Hey, Higashi, you ready to move or do you still need a few?"

"If you're offering, I don't mind staying for a few more minutes." He answered with a shrug and I rolled my eyes before looking at Sessho lying on the floor.

"Sessho. High alert, everyone that isn't us here, okay?" I ordered and smiled as he nodded, rubbing the top of his head before sitting down with a grunt.

"You know, I can be left alone." Looking at Pakura as she spoke up, I simply rose an eyebrow as the teen stared at me.

"Do I have your word that you won't try to escape?"

"You do indeed."

"Swear on the consequence that if you are to lie, disaster, chaos and misery may befall your family."

"…Go jump in a bath of bubbling lava." She grumbled and I smirked before shaking my head as I looked back at where Yahiko was animatedly telling Konan and Higashi how his battle went.

"I'd just absorb the lava to be honest."

"Because of your special eyes?" She asked and I frowned as I reached up for my headband only to groan as I felt it hanging loosely around my neck.

"You didn't even notice it coming undone during our battle? Wow~ How did I lose to you?"

"Because you're weak." I admitted bluntly with a shrug before snickering as she glared at me, deciding to leave my headband where it is before looking at her as she looked out at the forest with a frown.

"You know, I really don't want to keep you with us forever. I just need you to promise not to attack us and I'll let you get back to your friends and family."

"…I have no family." She muttered and I looked at her with a frown before she gave me a surprised look as I let her legs go, retracting all but the one arm that still had ropes around her to keep her arms pinned.

"You can walk alongside us, but just know I'm still draining your chakra so don't even think of trying anything."

"You can't keep this up forever." She spoke with a frown and I nodded with a smile right before growing out a second right arm and making a cross-hand sign to summon a trio of clones around her.

"That's why these guys are going to be doing it while I sleep."

"…Fine, I'll play nice." She grumbled and I nodded before looking at Konan and Yahiko right as the orange-haired goofball finished his story.

"Hey, you two!" I called out and they both turned to me right as I stood up along with Pakura who appeared to be slightly out of breath.

"We're ahead of schedule, but I'd rather we get out of here before Sakumo Hatake finds us. Let's get this mission over and done with."

"That eager to get rid of me?" Higashi asked with a smirk before cackling as I snorted and began walking in the direction that lead to the end of this stressful job.

"Very."

A/N: And the chapter ends with Nagato and the others not exactly being victorious but with a new prisoner as next chapter, a mission ends and we undergo another time skip~!

Also, yes, I know that Pakura is a pretty awesome fighter(One of my favourite kunoichi in the series) but she's not good enough to beat an Uzumaki with the Rinnegan that has been training everything he can since the age of 7.

She gave him a struggle, but the Preta Path Asura Path combo is not something to be messed with and that's without the mechanical weapons that comes with the Asura Path.

Anyway, what Nagato wants with her is something that's going to be a secret for the time being, but will be revealed…I don't know when, but it will be revealed.
