Danger Force was out on a mission, they got an alert that a criminal was hiding in the basement of an abandoned building.
They quickly entered the basement and searched it, only to find it was empty
"I guess it was a false report," Mika Said
"Yeah, you wanna go back?" Chapa asked,d
"Wait, let's see what's here," Miles suggested
"Why not? It's not like we are stealing," Bose replied
"C'mon guys, what do you expect to find? This place was abandoned years ago, anything of value was probably sold or already taken," Mika said
Miles, Bose and Chapa proceeded to look through the basement, seeing what they could discover.
They spent a good twenty minutes searching through stuff when suddenly there was a large crash, and they were all knocked down.
"What the hell was that?" Chapa said as they all got up
"No idea, let's find out," Bose said as they all went toward the sound of the crash.
The crash happened where the stairs were, the stairs were covered in debris and rubble
They were all trapped in the basement
"We can't go out there," Mika said
"What if you used your power and blasted a hole, so we could get out?" Bose suggested
"This building has been abandoned for years. If she does that, the whole basement could collapse," Chapa said
"Oh, what do we do? Just sit here?" Bose asked
"I mean, I think we have to, I don't see what else we can do," Miles said
"Miles, why don't you teleport us out?" Chapa said
"My powers have been wonky lately," I could accidentally teleport us to Outerspace" Miles stated
"Don't worry, guys, Schwoz and Ray will do their best to find us, well, mostly Schwoz," Chapa said
"In the meantime, what do you guys wanna do?" Mika asked
"We could play a game of truth or dare?" Miles suggested"
"Not sure what kind of dares we can do, but sure," Chapa replied
They all cleared some space on the floor and sat down.
They sat in a circle, Bose was to the left of Mika, Miles was to the left of Bose, and Chapa was to the left of Miles.
"I'll go first, Chapa, Truth or dare," Mika said
"Dare, I'm not a wuss," Chapa said confidently.
"Alright, I dare you to show the most embarrassing photo you have of yourself on your phone," Mika said
"Fine, let me find it," Chapa said as she scrolls through her phone for a bit.
They all waited for her to find the photo.
"Found it," Chapa said as she turned her phone toward everyone
on the screen is a Photo that must have been taken when she was much younger, probably about 7 years old.
It was Chapa in a beauty pageant, with a big dress, her hair done up big and lots of makeup on.
"Oh My god, you were a pageant kid?" Miles asked
"Yeah, but my parents found out I hated it and I never participated again," Chapa said
"That's cool of them," Bose said
"Yeah, I may find my family to be embarrassing and all, but they are chill, they never force me to do stuff I don't want to do
"That's nice," Mika said
"I guess it's my turn then, Bose, Truth or dare," Chapa asked,
"Truth." Bose answered What's the last lie you told?" Chapa asked
"I told Ray his Outfit looked good yesterday," Bose said
"Oh yeah, that outfit was Horrendous," Miles said
"My turn now, let's make things more interesting," Bose said
He turned to Miles.
"Alright, Miles, Truth or dare," Bose asked
"Truth," Mile answered
"Do you have a crush on anyone, and if so, who?" Bose said
"I do, I got a crush on Chapa," Miles said
"You...You do?" Chapa asked
"Yeah, and something tells me my crush isn't reciprocated," Miles said
"I kinda got a crush on Mika," Chapa stated awkwardly.
"This is awkward, I have a crush on Bose," Mika said
"I like Miles," Bose awkwardly stated
"So we all have crushes on each other," Mika said
"Yeah, but none of us have a crush on the person who has a crush on us," Miles said
The four of them sat in Awkward Silence for a while before they heard some loud noises
They all went to the source of the noise and found standing there with a futuristic-looking gauntlet with wires leading into a big backpack, he was surrounded by a group of henchmen
" ?" Bose said
Dr. Minyak charged his gauntlet and aimed at Bose, and fired a blue beam of energy at Bose
Bose ducked out of the way and telekinetically threw an empty shelf at dr Minyak, who shot off another blue beam
The beam made the shelf shatter into pieces.
"Holy Shi-" Bose began before being interrupted by a thug trying to punch him
Chapa hit the thug with some electricity, and the thug fell.
"Thanks Ch-uhh I mean volt," Bose said.
"You're welcome, Brainstorm," Chapa replied
Mika and Miles were dealing with thugs of their own, they were both taking on a large thug with huge muscles.
"How the hell are we supposed to beat this dude?" Mika Said while punching him.
"Yeah, this guy is a tank, just taking our hits," Miles agreed while also punching him, despite not looking like it affected him.
Mika shouted at the huge thug, making him slam into the wall behind him and fall face-first unconscious.
The fight continued for about 5 minutes, and now the only person that the danger force has to fight is Dr. Minyak; all his henchmen are down for the count.
Dr. Minyak charged up and shot a beam at Chapa, who immediately used her electricity to hit the beam. In a kind of tug-of-war with 's Beam and Chapa's Electricity
This went back and forth for a bit, sometimes Chapa's Electricity was winning sometimes Dr. Minya's Beam was winning.
"I got an idea, make sure doesn't see me," Mika said as she slowly crawled behind Dr. Minyak.
Mika got behind and unplugged the Wires leading to the gauntlet, no longer working as Chapa's Electricity hit and knocked him down. He got up
"I Just need to plug this wire back in and I can-" Dr. Minyak started to say as he was interrupted by a large drilling sound.
Everyone turned to see a large drill appearing from the Left side of the wall. it was driven by Schwoz and Captain man was in there to.
"Hey guys, it's me, Schwoz, from work," Schwoz said as he and Ray got off the drill.
While everyone was distracted, Bose threw a medium-sized piece of rubble with his power, which hit and knocked him down.
"Oh, you guess the report wasn't fake," Ray said, surprised
"You thought the report was fake?" Chapa asked
"Yeah, this place was abandoned when I was your age, no real reason for criminals to show up now," Ray Said
"So why did Dr Minyak show up now?" Mika said
"Yeah, I mean, he is a smart dude, he wouldn't show up for no reason," Miles said.
"I have idea," Schwoz said
"What is it, Schwoz?" Ray asked
"There was a massive Tornado in Swellview, it knocked down some power lines, and this caused the lab next door to lose power and the lab's Nycronium shields went down," Schwoz said
"Nycronium?" Mika asked
"A newly discovered element, the lab next door was made to discover what it can do and invent things with nycronium, the Nycronium shield blocked any of the inventions from having any effect on the outside of the lab," Schwoz answered
"So something in the lab is what's been messing with my powers?" Miles asked
"Yes, and Dr Minyak is a scientist, the lab would probably have so many things he would want," Schwoz answered
"Yeah, yeah nerd stuff nerd stuff, blah blah, let's go already," Ray said
"All right, we'll go," Miles said as they all went inside the drill as Schwoz reversed the drill to go back to where they were drilling.
After they go back to the surface, they get in the man's van.
And Ray drove for a while before suddenly stopping the car and turning to face Danger Force
"Alright, what's going on?" Ray asked
"We have no idea what you mean," Bose said
"Cut it, you guys haven't talked this whole time," Ray stated
"Let's just tell him," Mika said
"Fine," Miles said
They told him everything that happened from when they entered the basement to when Ray and Schwoz entered.
"Oh, I can see why it's awkward," Ray said
"yeah..." Mika said
"Guess I owe you 5 bucks, Schwoz," Ray said as he handed the money to Schwoz.
"You made a bet on whether or not we have crushes on each other?" Chapa said annoyed
"Yup, it happened with the kids that worked for me before and will probably happen with the kids after you," Ray clarified
"Wait, it happened before?" Mika asked
"What do we do?" Bose asked
"Well, let me ask you guys a question: how often do you guys hang out together?" Ray asked
"All the time," Miles said
"Yeah, we are always doing stuff together," Chapa said
"That's the reason," Schwoz said
"What do you mean?" Bose asked
"Well, if you guys spend all the time together, you guys are going to get crushes on each other," Ray said
"That makes sense," Mika said
"You know what, take the weekend off and spend it hanging out with teens who aren't in danger force," Ray said
"We don't know any other teens," Miles says
"Yeah, you keep us busy with dangerforce stuff," Chapa said
"Then go meet some new people," Ray said
"Alright fine, now let's go home," Miles said.
